Personality: Strafe is a kind hearted soul above all else. He is gentle and polite to his friends and makes friends easy. He is giving and compassionate to those in need, as well as being dedicated to his comrades. Unlike most shinobi, he would rather find a diplomatic solution than fight, but is far from afraid to fight.
Rather than being loud and arrogant, Strafe is timid and calculating. He is very shy when first meeting people, which can often be mistaken for weakness. He constantly thinks about his moves, making sure they are the most logical to make. Despite his shyness, he has an undeniable leadership quality.

Motivation: Strafe's biggest motivation is to prove that not all Jinchuriki are reckless and dangerous. He wants to prove that a Bijuu can live in harmony with the human world of shinobi. He also wants to become the Kage of his village, making sure peace and prosperity are brought to his friends.
Fears: Strafe has the distinct fear of being alone in life. He thrives on his friends and the care they show him. He also has a slight fear of dogs after being attacked by them when he was a young child. Another fear is the fear of failure, as he never wants to be useless to his village.

History: Strafe's family is from small community outside the village itself. It was a peaceful town, living a simple life and bothering no one. His father was a blacksmith, making weapons for the village and his mother was the town's best nurse. After Strafe was born, they continued to live there with no intentions of leaving.
However, a battle soon took place in the village. Rouge ninja attacked heartlessly as they massacred the helpless towns people. Ninja from Shippuugakure came to protect the community, but it was too late. Every citizen had been slaughtered, except for one. Strafe was found and brought back to the village so he could lead a normal life.
While most treated him with respect, there was one shinobi, Daiyu, who wanted to use him as a tool for the village. As such, she used Strafe for an experiment, trying to fuse him with the Two-Tails Bijuu. It didn't matter if Strafe died, for no one would miss him. While the experiment was in process, Daiyu was found and killed in battle, leaving Strafe defenseless once again. The only way to make sure that he lived, was by finishing the procedure.
Since that day, Strafe has been a Jinchuriki. While most of his kind were exiled and alienated by their village, it was quite the opposite. He was loved and had many friends as a child. Even when he entered the Academy at the age of 7, he was treated as an equal by those around him. He was at the top of his class, making everyone look when he stepped up to the sparring mat. He was also somewhat of a mentor to the other students, unlike most who would have made sure they kept the advantage.
He soon graduated from the Academy, showing his potential as a ninja. He was assigned to a squad immediately, and loved his time as a Genin. The 4 man cell was in sync, showing that a Jinchuriki could be controlled and useful, despite the monster inside. Unfortunately, none of those ninja from his early days are alive, as they all died in battle along the way. His sensei, Satoshi, was the last to die while Strafe was a Special Jounin at the age of 18.
While it broke Strafe's heart, he had to keep pushing on to honor their memory. He wanted to make sure that they could look down from heaven and be proud of the ninja that they saw. He made a monument in the village graveyard for his lost team and has visited it everyday sense he lost them.
In those early years, Strafe moved through the ranks fast. Becoming Genin at 10, Chunnin at 13, Special Jounin at 16, and Jounin by 20. His progress was unusual, but welcomed by the village as they depended on him many times throughout the years. He stepped up to every challenege, Defending from attack, leading forces, and everything a high-ranked shinobi could do. His unique style of fighting with Bubbles is known all across the land as a sign of defeat.
Only recently has Strafe become one with his Bijuu, showing the level of difficulty it took to do so. After training for weeks and showing extreme determination, Strafe finally managed to get in sync with his unusual partner, who welcomed the friendship. He was often told that his Bijuu and he were too much alike, which could have been why his journey was so difficult.
With the immense power that Strafe holds, he has vowed to protect his village whatever the cost may be. He is the heart of the village, knowing and loving everyone around him. He knows so well how it could be snatched away in an instant, but things were different this time. He was the key factor in making sure that didn't happen again.
RP Sample: Strafe walked solemnly down the wild beaches of his favorite place. The waves crashed into the rocks, roaring with intensity as he simply sat there and thought. It wasn't unusual for Strafe to come out and just meditate while breathing in the smell of salt in the air. He loved feeling the grainy sand between his toes and staring at the light reflect of the water in the midnight sky. The stars represented all the people in his village, or at least for him it did.
"I won't let you down." He said softly as he picked himself up, turning to head back to the village. Someone might wonder where he was if he stayed away too long.
