Personal v2

Personality: Ryoku has a split personality. One side of him is kind, cheerful, energetic, positive, forgiving, basically the perfect 'good' person. This side does not fight unless absolutely needed, and prefers to settle things peacefully. The other side to his personality however is cruel, manipulative, sarcastic, aggressive, and anything 'evil.' These two sides know of each others existence, and are able to mentally communicate with each other. They do not usually get along very well, but there are rare occasions where they do agree on something, one thing they agree on is to not trust anyone but themselves. Ryoku's evil side was born from his original abandonment by his real parents, the ones he never met, and has consumed him, turning into a festering sore in Ryoku's mind, spliting literally into another being.

Likes: Ryoku likes anything and everything. From chocolate to spinach, from smoking, to going to church. The boy can do anything, and enjoy it. He loves animals of all kinds, knowing they won't ever betray him, back stab him, or abandon him.

Dislikes: Ryoku dislikes two things. Himself. He can't stand his other side, his inner darkness, and tries his very hardest to bury it and never have to deal with it, though unfortunately he can't do that. He also dislikes abandonment, due to being, or at least feeling, abandoned by his adoptive parents when they died.

Motivation: Ryoku has no true motivation, except for to survive. He will do anything needed in order to escape death, anything in order to be able to continue living, even if it means joining with those others consider "evil" He is not afraid to join Akatuki if they were to suite his needs.

Fears: Ryoku fears Death, and his other half. He fears losing control of himself, an hurting anyone. He is afraid of being abandoned again, which is why he never gets close to anyone. He is afraid of being closed in tight spaces, claustrophobia.

History

History: Ryoku knows nothing of his birth, nor the beginning six years of his life. He had always lived alone, on the streets, scavenging for food, clothing anything he needed to keep him alive. He was eventually taken in by a kind older couple and lived happily with them for a little while, around three months or so. He was forced to flee, being chased from the village by an angry mob of people, who called him monster, murderer, and all other kinds of foul, cruel things. Ryoku had no idea what he had done, only knowing his sorrow when he found out his adoptive parents had died.

He ran from the village, with naught but the clothes on his back, and the little bit of money in his wallet. He entered another village, doing any odd jobs they had for him, earning enough money to book a passage onto a boat heading to Shippugakure. He finally had gotten over his grief, but something had awoken in him, an odd feeling in the back of his mind, a pressense of evil. He could not figure out what it was, nor place it with any events that had happened. Upon arriving in Shippugakure The young man began to do more odd jobs for the villagers, gaining more money, in order to be able to continue travelling. It was all Ryoku could do. Then it happened, he discovered the source of the feeling of evil. It was him.

One day while working for a merchant a a delivery boy Ryoku began to wish he had a cart of something to carry his load of supplies on, and suddenly it appreared in front of him. He thought it was a trick of his mind, which it turned out to be. A voice spoke in his mind, saying all sorts of hurtful, spiteful, cruel things about Ryoku. Ryoku began to argue and fight with this being in his head, afraid of it, and just trying to calm it down, when he suddenly passed out, a long evil laugh echoing through his mind.

When Ryoku awoke he was in a pub, with no idea how he got there, or where the pub was, with a bloody kunai in his hands, and dead man laying against his boot. He dropped the kunai, and ran from the room, ran out of the pub and down an alley, sitting next to a small puddle of water, staring at his own gaunt faced blood splattered reflection. He vowed never to let this happen again, and ran away, now continuing to travel, and trying to keep people at arms reach, which really isn't hard for him, fearing hurting them, or being abandoned. He continues to travel this way, and will more than likely continue to do so for the rest of his life.


RP Sample: Ryoku walked down the small ramp from the tiny plane, thanking the pilot as he went down. He sighed as he walked along the gravel runway of the tiny private airstrip, wishing he had spent a little more on a plane that landed in town instead of two kilometers outside of it. He sighed again, as he continued, now on the dirt road leading into the town. He mentally pictured himself a bike, a nice red bike, perfectly his size, and he sighed again, knowing he could never get it.

As he continued to image it, and picture it in his mind he felt an odd sensation take hold of him, and then the bike shimmered into life before him, and he stopped dead in his tracks, staring at it incredulously. He walked up to it and studied it, and laughed slightly, it matched perfectly to the one he had been imagining a second before. He reached out and touched one of the handlebars, making sure he wasn't imagining it was here, when it was really just a trick of his mind. Not far off there Ryoku.

Ryoku heard this voice in his head, and grabbed at his head, which was on fire with pain. He inhaled sharply, each breath sawing in his chest, echoing the pain he felt in his head. Who, or what, are you, and what are you doing in my head? The thing in his mind chuckled. I'm you fool, you darker half, your darker side.

Ryoku blinked several times. What do you want with me now? again Ryoku's other side laughed. I want the body! It shouted in his mind, nearly knocking him out, He managed to hold on for a little, but then his vision started to blur, and everything starting going dark. The last thing he heard was his other side laughing inside his brain.

Ryoku woke up standing in the center of a bar, a dead man laying on the ground at his feet, bleeding from three individual gunshot wounds. Ryoku backed away from the corpse, frightened, not understanding anything. He then noticed a weight in his right hand, and he brought it into his line of site, and nearly screamed. His eyes flew open wide and he tossed the gun, only to have it vanish in the air.

Ryoku ran out of the building, tears of fear streaming down his face as he flew past pedestrians, most people staring after him, watching the oddly dressed teenager fleeing down the street, shirt drenched in blood, tears flying off of his face. He stopped and turned into an alley, leaning against the wall, hands gripping his dual coloured hair, tears streaming from his wide eyes, overall he looked like shit.

Why is this happening to me? What is happening to me? He heard a silent chuckle, come from deep within his mind. Your doing only what comes natural to you. Surviving, alone. You are an outcast, and you will never fit in, with anyone, anywhere. Ryoku didn't want to believe him at first, but he slowly started to realize the truth in his words. He sat there as the day fading into the night, and only then did he get up. He wandered down to a stream and washed his clothes, and body off in it's murky waters.

Later that same day he was already on his way to his next destination, knowing that if he stuck around he would only be caught for his crime. And that was definitely against his goals. "Survival, sounds so easy, yet is one of the most difficult things to do." He looked up at the bright midday sun and smirked, shouldering his pack once more he continued down life's road, knowing he would eventually reach his destination.
