The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Name: Eight Inner Gates Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: A Element: n/a Type: Taijutsu Range: self Description: The Eight Gates are eight specific points on a person's Chakra Pathway System. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By opening these gates, the user can surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own bodies. The state of having all Eight Gates open is known as Eight Gates Released Formation (八門遁甲の陣, Hachimon Tonkō no Jin; English TV "Eight Inner Gates Formation"). Any shinobi who activates this state will temporarily gain powers greater than a Kage, but they will die because of the damage done to their body.
The Gate of Opening (開門, Kaimon), located in the brain. This gate removes the restraints of the brain on the muscles so 100% of their strength can be used whereas normally, a person can only use 20% of their muscles' strength to keep them from disintegrating. Unlocking this gate allows the user to use the Front Lotus.
The Gate of Healing (休門, Kyūmon; English TV "The Gate of Rest"), located in the brain. Forcibly increases one's physical strength and temporarily re-energizes the body. Opening this gate allows the user to restore half of the overall chakra pool after it has been open for a round.
The Gate of Life (生門, Seimon), located on the spinal cord. Allows the user to use the Reverse Lotus. The increased blood flow turns the skin red. It allows the user to perform the Leaf Hot Wind.
The Gate of Pain (傷門, Shōmon), located on the spinal cord. Increases the user's speed and power. May cause muscle tissue to tear on use.
The Gate of Limit (杜門, Tomon; English TV "The Gate of Closing"), per above. Located in the abdomen.
The Gate of View (景門, Keimon; English TV "The Gate of Joy"), per above. Located in the stomach. Allows the user to perform the Morning Peacock. Opening of this gate releases such large amounts of chakra that it can cause nearby water bodies to form a vortex around the user.
The Gate of Wonder (驚門, Kyōmon; English TV "The Gate of Shock"), per above. Located below the stomach. Allows the user to perform the Daytime Tiger. Those who open this gate pour glowing green sweat from every inch of their body, which immediately evaporates from their own heat energy, creating an aura which people would mistake as a green chakra coating. In the video games, allows the user to perform the Eternal Chaotic Dance. The aftereffects of opening the gate are that the users muscle fibers are ripped to shreds, causing intense pain if anything or anyone touches him.
The Gate of Death (死門, Shimon), located at the heart. Releasing this gate uses up all of the body's energy. It makes the heart pump at maximum power and exceeds the power of every other gate. Opening this gate assures the user's death shortly after. (Must be S rank to open)
As each gate opens in addition to opening the use of each technique the user's power and speed are increased at a drastic rate, the actual rate is as follows:
In order to activate this jutsu it costs the normal amount for an A rank jutsu (40cp), to keep the gate you are using open you must pay 10cp per round however if you wish to open the next gate in line it will cost an additional 10cp (so on rounds where new gate is opened overall cost is 20cp). If the user falls to the point where they have no chakra left when the gates are disabled then they are subject to having their body seriously injured, how badly follows as such:
If the chakra pool ran out and you went up to the...
First Gate: No noticeable damage other than muscle soreness
Second Gate: Intense Fatigue, moves at half speed for three posts
Third Gate: Intense Fatigue, moves at half speed for five posts
Fourth Gate: Muscle Tearing, Muscles are torn and the user cannot freely move until a healing topic has taken place (Healing topic: 500 words minimum)
Fifth Gate: Muscle Tearing, Muscles are torn and the user cannot freely move until a healing topic has taken place (Healing topic: 1000 words minimum)
Sixth Gate: Muscle Tearing, Muscles are torn and the user cannot freely move until a healing topic has taken place (Healing topic: 1500 words minimum)
Seventh Gate: Muscle Tearing, Muscles are torn and the user cannot freely move until a healing topic has taken place (Healing topic: 2000 words minimum)
Eighth Gate: Death, using the final gate will kill the user but they are free to use it until their chakra runs out.
Name: Front Lotus Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: B Element: n/a Type: Taijutsu Range: Close-Medium Description: Front Lotus requires the opening of the first of the Eight Chakra Gates, giving the user five times their normal strength. The user launches the opponent into the air and then uses Shadow of the Dancing Leaf. Once behind the opponent, the user restrains them and piledrives them into the ground headfirst while rotating at a ferocious speed. Because it uses one of the chakra gates, the user is left extremely fatigued, making this jutsu a "double-edged sword." However, on episode 193 of the anime, Lee was able to perform this technique without any strain on his body. In the anime, Kakashi has been shown to be able to use this technique, but to a much lesser degree than Guy and Lee. The use of this technique more than once in a topic will cause a 2 post fatigue and can only be used three times max per fight.
Name: Reverse Lotus Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: A Element: n/a Type: TAijutsu Range: Close-Medium Description: This jutsu is an advanced and more destructive version of the Front Lotus, which requires that at least three chakra gates be opened. Once enough gates are open, the user launches the target into the air and strikes them at inhuman speed before hitting them with one arm and one foot, sending the target crashing into the ground. This is usually fatal due to the speed and power behind the attack. Because so many chakra gates are opened at once, it can only be used once, since the user will likely be unable to stand afterward. This is proven when Lee is left barely able to stand after using it on Gaara, and the latter's powerful defences and long-distance attacks allowed him to win the match. Guy's version involves him launching the enemy into the air, spinning like a drill, and delivering a bone-shattering punch. Might Guy states this technique to be a "combination of such blinding speed that no one can defend themselves against it". As stated above, once per topic and extreme fatigue for three rounds.
Name: Leaf Hot Wind Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: C Element: n/a Type: Taijutsu Range: Close Description: Lee opens the first four of the Eight Gates and does a more enhanced version of Leaf Whirlwind which looks similar to Might Guy's Morning Peacock. He then jumps up, kicks the enemy, shouting "Leaf Hot Wind". This does more damage than a normal Leaf Whirlwind and another difference is that when Lee uses Leaf Whirlwind he doesn't kick the opponent into the air. The difference between this attack and a normal whirlwind is that the user's feet are coated in flames to add burning damage to the effect.
Name: Morning Peacock Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: A Element: n/a Type: Taijutsu Range: Short Description: The Morning Peacock is a certain-kill taijutsu born from the philosophy of Might Guy. The principle of this taijutsu is to rapidly increase the body's abilities by opening up to and including the sixth of the Eight Gates, and then to strike the enemy down with countless punches. The technique is started by kicking the enemy into the air, which for most would be an instant kill. The user then jumps into the air in a distinctive stance and begins punching the enemy repeatedly. The speed of the punches is so fast that they are set ablaze by sheer speed and friction. This creates a peacock-like fan of flaming chakra around the opponent. Once the attack is finished, the enemy will be sent crashing back to the ground, covered with the attack's aura.
Name: Daytime Tiger Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: S Element: n/a Type: Taijutsu Range: close-med-long Description: Daytime Tiger is an incredibly fast punch.[1] After opening the seventh of the Eight Gates, the user places a palm facing forward in front of their face with one hand and then taps it with his other hand, formed into a fist, which creates a massive amount of air pressure. Next, the user forms a unique hand seal resembling a tiger, which launches the air pressure at the opponent in the shape of a tiger, by leaving a gigantic tiger-shaped impression into the initially built-up air pressure with the hand seal. The air pressure will condense as it's moving and be focused into a single point. The technique then explodes before impact, releasing the built up air pressure in an instant. A massive concussive explosion is created which can be felt a significant distance away.
Name: Eternal Chaotic Dance Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: A Element: n/a Type: Taijutsu Range: close-med-long Description: After opening seven chakra gates, Lee punches the ground, creating an earthquake that launches his opponent into the air. He then attacks his foe many times at the speed of light, moving so fast that it seems as if there are three Lees attacking at once. To finish, Lee punches the enemy from the sky three times, slamming them back to the ground.
