Description: Imbues an Ability on the Scythe

Abilities: This ability allows the scythe to emit explosions from connection points with the blade or shaft. For 5 charkra (per use, 10 Chakra to use on a person) the scythe emits a moderately sized "explosion" that has a knockback of 5 feet to a human being. To an animal the knockback is 10 feet, and if it connects with nature then it creates an explosion that can tear through trees (tears through plantlife with extreme ease) or create 5 foot radius craters (in rock, soil, etc [earthly materials]).

This is because the Scythes new ability is not directly energy expulsion, but rather manipulating the molecules directly adjacent to its connection. When it's human the molecules are highly advanced, and thus barely manipulated; they get knocked back (mostly due to brain capacity). Animals are slightly less complex in terms of cognitive function, so they are knocked back further. Nature is highly simplistic, so it almost literally explodes.

For Enemy Blades:
It would dent anything weaker then what the scythe itself is made out of, the weaker in comparison the more damage.

Steel - Heavily dented, needs repair to be effectively used again. Two hits will break the weapon.

Iron - Dented badly, can use but requires extreme precision and is awkward. Three hits will break the weapon.

Metals above Iron but below Titanium are all dented, but not bad enough to hinder use entirely, but visibly deneted. 7 hits to break.

(Molecules being things like simple sugars, complex carbons, blood, etc.)

History: An upgrade fashioned from the void itself to enhance the ultimate function of the Scythe, matter manipulation.

What were to happen should this connect to an opponents blade?

Also I think it should be 10 chakra against humans, but five for anything else.
