• Slightly Insane
  
  Past events have fractured this young Nin's mind, causing a once passive lad to become a merciless, yet brutally protective foe. One who once disliked bloodshed now revels in it. Though the insanity hasn't yet become deep seated, it is noted that Niernen has begun to hear voices and occassionally talk to himself.. But most of all one cannot forget than spine chilling laugh.. nor the chilling smile he always seems to wear.
  
  
• Frozen Heart
  
  Once again, due to past experiences in his life Niernen has changed. His heart becoming encased in ice, and hard for any warmth to reach or pierce. Niernen shows little emotion to others, and if he usually does its a cold shoulder, glare, or something of the sort. The teen has no friends, cares for little, and feels little.
  
  
• Merciless
  
  In battle Niernen is merciless, ending lives as they beg for mercy or try to crawl away... Or even to the extent of torturing a foe until they die. The teen revels in blood & battle, and even to the day has yet to let a fight outside of spars, or the like end without bloodshed or death.
  
  
• Protective
  
  Despite all the negative aspects of his mentality Niernen has held onto a single aspect of his past self. And that is his immensely strong urge to protect anyone that manages to make it close to his heart, or even the urge to protect his village. Such protective urges are so strong Niernen becomes even more merciless than ever if he must protect something.

• Blood & Battle
  
  In the past Niernen bore the site of blood & battle simply because he was a Shinobi... But since then things have changed.. Insanity has taken hold and twisted the mind, causing Niernen to have a nearly un-sateable blood-lust. Yet somehow he never loses sight of protecting that which is precious to him, thus his blood-lust is rarely turned on allied Nin.
  
  
• Women
  
  Like any teen male Niernen is strongly attracted to the female form. The only thing that really prevents him from getting close to a woman is his own fears. Besides that though, Niernen doesn't really have a specific taste in women, enjoying almost everything about a woman's body & mind. Though if he had to say, he would prefer one who could keep him in line. One should also note the teen has a few unique quirks too him when it comes to a relationship.
  
  
• Training & Missions
  
  Training hones the body & mind.. Along with calming the blood-lust within Niernen. Missions provide Niernen with an outlet, allowing him too spill the blood that he wishes too. Though on the side one could find Niernen training his Ijutsu skills to help people, rather than using them to harm foes.
  
  
• Sweets
  
  Candy, desserts, coffee, honey, etc. You name it and Niernen enjoys it, as long as its sweet and sugary that is. Aside from just liking them, they also seem to calm Niernen's nerves. Thus, its usually best to converse with him when offering him sweets, or if he's already eating some.

• Sleep
  
  Sleep... With it comes dreams... or in Niernen's case nightmares... Nightmares which he fears greatly. Because of this he fears falling asleep, and has become an insomniac... Yet another factor in his deteriorating sanity.

  Due too events in the past Niernen has come to fear others being close to him on the personal level. Whether this is due to emotional/mental or physical issues, only he knows.
  
  
• Loneliness
  
  Due too his past, Niernen has become conflicted... Wishing for his loneliness to end, but at the same time, fearing others being close to him..
  
  
• Most, if not all Men
  
  Due too events in his past Niernen has come to trust very few, if any men aside from himself and the leaders of his village. Now, Niernen will tolerate being around them, but upon being touched he snaps, lashing out at whoever it may be.. All in all, if another man touches Niernen, the teen becomes an unstable mess of emotion and rage.

  Niernen's motivation comes from events of his past. And due to them he has driven himself to grow stronger and stronger, surpassing any limit set before him. Although he has become cold hearted, and closed off from most, Niernen still strives for the best for his village, and those that manage to whittle their way into his frozen heart. In battle though his motivation changes completely, only wishing to spill blood & create carnage, all while keeping his village & its Nin safe from him. Slowly though Niernen has been changing, driven to end his loneliness before insanity finally fully grips him.

• His Nightmares
  
  Niernen fears his nightmares for one reason, and one reason only. In them he relives the past he wishes to forget, the past which had frozen his heart. And slowly these nightmares are driving him insane... Afterall who can stay sane after seeing friends, family, and themselves broken, used, and killed one by one, before finally waking in a shaky cold sweat.
  
  
• Dying Alone & Cold Hearted
  
  Contrary to how he may seem to others, inside Niernen's greatest fears is essentially being alone. Although the presence of others disturbs him greatly the teen is working towards shedding his cold heart, and allowing others close to him once again.. If only to deflate his fear of a death with no friends or family.

History:
Niernen's life did not begin within the walls of a Shinobi village.. Though he was fortunate enough to have had Shinobi parents. They had lived a few miles from Tsukigakure peacefully for many years. The young Niernen had several friends, a large family, and no worries.. Life was good.. Exceptionally good... Especially since the child had been trained in the Shinobi arts since he could walk.

Niernen grew up with many friends, though he was also bullied due to how quickly he took to the Shinobi arts. It seemed even at such a young age the child showed an aptitude for Ninjutsu, Ijutsu, and Kenjustu.. Which had made his parents proud as they shared a similar skillset, though they had been upset to know he did not share their joy for Fuuinjutsu. You see, in the past Niernen's parents had been Jounin of a distant village before coming to Tsukigakure to settle down, allowing them to live in peace and have a family, as well as pass along their skills.

Sadly life could not continue so peacefully. Tragedy would befall Niernen, who by the end of it would not only have to watch as friends, and family were used as bandits wished, but then was forced to watch as they were murdered before him. The poor childs only saving grace, the distraction of the arrival of Tsukigakure Nin... Using the distraction, the child in his mentally fractured state let loose his raging emotions... By the time the Tsuki Nin had been able to stop the child he knelt in the center of a ring of bodies, blood pooling beneath him.. The worst of it was the broken grin he wore, and the ever so chilling laughter.. That haunting laughter brought chills to several of the Tsuki Nin.. Some of which worried for the childs sanity, others just wanting to be rid of him.

Since then Niernen had become a citizen of Tsukigakure before eventually entering into the Academy where he excelled in his classes. And although the child seemed to have prodigy like skills, teacher nor student could get close enough to him to even find out where his skills came from... The child trusted no one, and let none close to him.. As the years went by nothing changed, Niernen continued to be cold hearted, and others had begun to ignore him.. Throughout it all he continued to hold a top place in his classes until finally graduating..
