Personality: Naomi is a strong-willed individual whose ideals and morals come first. With a high head, she tries to lead others towards goodness and acceptance, hoping that she herself will achieve such a feat. She has a colorful personality, sometimes upbeat but she is mostly strict, her decisions strong as she portrays her stubbornness on issues. She enjoys talking and sharing her thoughts, knowing no bound to her speech and liveliness. Overall, she is a talker, a leader, and a person who believes that their way is the only way.

Though stubborn and lively, Naomi holds positive and encouraging attributes. She is often kind to those she meets, explaining her thoughts and sparking conversions with them. She enjoys listening to others, learning about a person and noting these things mentally. Naomi is intelligent and strategic, often explaining her keen mind and her observant qualities.

Likes:
Candy: Growing up, after harsh training days, her father would give Naomi a piece of cherry candy. This was then passed on to her sensei, which was one of the many things that enabled Naomi to trust the man.
White rice: This is Naomi’s favorite food. She eats it with everything and will stand up for the food, stating it’s “perfectly fine for a healthy and growing ninja woman.”
Flowers: This is a more sensitive side of Naomi, something that is rarely shown outwardly. She enjoys their fragile beauty though finds herself to be the complete opposite of the small plant. She admires nature from afar, not wanting others to see this side of her.
Medical journals: Naomi has a growing interest in medicine and instead of reading a good novel, she will read intriguing medical journals and books, noting techniques and other memorable things.

Clan History: It's a bloodline that passes down the Mao family and appears rarely. The individuals of the Mao clan tend to be small in stature, though they have massive strength and chakra control, allowing them to take on bigger opponents. Easily overcoming those four times their size. They are capable of lifting pieces of concrete, because of their enhanced chakra control. The Mao family is often faster compared to their peers and possesses good reflexes which make them perfect hand-to-hand specialists.


History: A clear blue winter day, the chirping of birds in the distance. A girl was born, her eyes a crystalline blue and black fluff for hair. Naomi’s parents had separated the day after, taking their personal belongings on their travels. Naomi was taken by her father, bringing her to the Glacier village where she grew up most of her life.

From a young age, preferably around four to five years old, Naomi began her ninja training, her father taking special care of her. She found herself excelling well in taijutsu, her father proud of her progress. She attended the ninja academy at age five where she began her professional pursuit of becoming a ninja.

One day, after a long day at the academy, at the age of six, Naomi was walking home down the familiar paved pathway. Her hood was on as she walked, a light snow falling from the sky. She arrived home, standing in the front door she felt a strange feeling coming from her house. Slowly walking in, she removed her shoes and bag from her shoulder, leaving them abandoned by the door. Naomi walked further into the house, an unsightly smell came from the living room. Running towards it, she stopped and screamed, the body of her bleeding father on the floor. She ran to him, realizing he was in a pool of his own blood. She wasn’t sure if the killer was still present so she ran to her shoes, slipping them on quickly before running out the door towards the kage.

After the death of her father, Naomi became cold and quiet, not wanting to talk to anyone, and taking everyone as a threat to her own safety. She graduated at the age of twelve from the academy, but insisted she was not to be put on a team. The kage complied, assigning her a sensei.

Her sensei, Miro Hataku was a tall, thin man whose layered brunette locks fell just before his shoulders. They shared similar eyes, his being more narrowed and a bit darker blue. When they first met, he was kind and gentle, speaking to her in a softened and sweetened tone. She took it as pity treatment, and Naomi grew to hate her sensei. She trained with him still, not wanting to put up a fuss with the current kage. The day came when she told her sensei of her feelings and in return, Miro smiled and gave her a piece of red candy. The girl accepted it, knowing the kage had told him of the treat that used to be given to her from her father, seeing as though they were close. A bond was formed between the two that day. Unspoken, but mutually shared. She had made her first friend.

At age sixteen, after four years of brutal and constant training, Naomi began to grow more womanly, her height at five feet and seven inches. She grew in certain areas, giving her a more womanly figure. She took the chuunin exams, passing with flying colors. Miro was proud of the girl, stating he knew she would pass with flying colors.

At age eighteen, just before She was going to join the jounin exams, Miro became ill, his body deteriorating as his health diminished rapidly. Naomi postponed her exam, deciding to take care of the man. Before he died, Miro told her of her clan and mother, explaining her natural talent for taijutsu. Later that day, Miro died. She left her village that day, taking only what she needed before travelling to the Jungle village, where she was told she could find out about her mother.


RP Sample: A golden hue filtered past white curtains as a sleeping girl stirred. A small ray of light fell onto her sleeping features as her once peaceful slumber became disturbed, her eyebrows stitching together in annoyance. Long eyelashes fluttered open, revealing cerulean colored orbs. The figure growled as she rose from the comfort of her soft bed and let her bare feet touch the cold wooden floor beneath her. Rubbing her eyes, she stood shakily, walking towards her mirror where she stared into it tiredly.

“You are looking fabulous today…” Sarcasm dripped off her words as she scoffed, running her thin fingers through her long black locks. Walking out her door, her feet made small tapping noises as they met solid cherry wood.

“Morning, Dad.” A set of eyes met her being as visible smiles and nods went around the table. It was like this every morning. Her father awoke at ungodly hours of the morning while she awoke early enough to see the sun rise. The familiar routine was natural for Naomi though she knew to any other she would be considered odd. She would never know how [her father had picked up such a habit.

Groaning, she let her feet drag as she was met with a glass bowl filled with small red and yellow wrappings. Picking one up, she untwisted the ends, the foil of the wrapping coming undone smoothly as a red candy came out. Smiling gently, she plopped the sweet trinket past her pink lips and onto her tongue where she savored its flavor.

“You know, eating candy in the morning isn’t healthy for you Nao.” The girl rolled her eyes as she chuckled, her father eyeing her.

“Don’t worry about it Dad, it’s only one.” Her father returned the gesture as he shook his head in disapproval.

“You are so difficult…” Shrugging, the girl giggled before stretching and walking towards her room.

“I love candy in the morning…” Opening the palm of her hand, she unwrapped a similar treat before popping it into her mouth as she began to get ready for the upcoming day.
