First Name: Shirokawa.
Last Name: Kaguya.
Alias: N/A.
Gender: Male.
Age: 14-years-old.
Height: 5' foot 7" inches.
Weight: 124 lbs.
Birthday: August 14th.
Sexuality: Heterosexual.
Relationships: Nara Sadako; friend.
Affiliation: Kusamuragakure.
Rank: Genin.
Element: Doton; Earth Release. Raiton; Lightning Release.
Specialization: Taijutsu, Ninjutsu.
Personality: He is quiet and analytical, sometimes overly so, but also arrogant. His arrogance results in him having a big ego, which is easy to damage since it's such a big target. When his ego is injured, he dedicates himself to mending the wound even if the measures are extreme, since his pride is everything. Those who befriend him will find that once you get past his cockiness, he is a loyal and trustworthy companion. He is protective of those he loves, and this leads to him being jealous when strangers become too "close" to his friends.
Likes: Headbutting. Yes, he likes to headbutt people. Not even he knows why he enjoys headbutting people, and it'll probably stay that way.
Competition. Even if he loses in a contest, he only sees it as a chance to improve and redeem himself! What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger, after all.
Fishing. He likes to relax by casting out a line and seeing what bites, whether it's early in the morning or late at night. He usually tosses back what he catches, unless he's hungry!
Dislikes:Being told what to do. While it is an essential part of being a young shinobi, following orders and being commanded just doesn't sit well with him. Just because he obeys, doesn't mean he likes it.
Waiting. He is extremely impatient and when he feels like something should, or could, be going a lot faster, he won't hesitate to speak up about it.
Heavily-populated areas. He's not anti-social, and he isn't afraid of mingling with strangers, but crowded places and several voices speaking simultaneously chews on his nerves. He's more fit for small gatherings, or one-on-one conversations.
Motivation: The foundation for his motivation is not only built upon his natural desire to succeed at everything he does, but also to be recognized as the best, or one of the best, at anything he does. It's a simple idea, but it has great potency to it. He is a relentless competitor and prideful comrade, meaning he tirelessly thirsts for victory and wishes for his allies to see him as a monument worthy of praise. He cares a lot about the words of others, sometimes more than himself, and will often go out of his way to be gifted with their voice of approval.
Fears: He fears being unable to walk, as his legs are how he travels the world. He fears being unable to talk, as his voice is how he expresses his opinion, which he values dearly. He fears being unable to hear, since he would not be able to hear the praise of others, or the opinions of others, if he could not listen to them. He also has a fear of becoming too attached to someone, or something, just to only lose them, or be separated from it, due to reasons that are out of his control; helplessness.
Kaguya Bloodline Name: Shikotsumyaku.
Bloodline Ability: The main capability of Shikotsumyaku is allowing the user to manipulate the speed of their bones' growth as well as the location of calcium deposits. This allows them to create weapons of bones that can either protrude from any part of the body, or pulled out and used like hand held weapons. They can even fire pieces of their bones as long-ranged projectiles. Any bone that they remove from the body immediately regenerates, as does the skin that is damaged when the bones are removed. At advanced levels, users can increase the density of the created bones, making them stronger than steel.
Location: Kusamuragakure.
Clan History: The Kaguya clan was an extinct clan, known to have been very barbaric. Select few possessed the Kekkei Genkai Shikotsumyaku; this ability was so powerful that even the war-loving Kaguya clan feared it. With a few exceptions of the Kaguya, the clan was killed off when attacking a major village in a failed attempt to show off their ferocity. The clan was very savage and had no tactics when going to battle, and refused to back down even when surrounded and completely outmatched, preferring to fight to the death for fun. The younglings left behind would for years live as the last member of the Kaguya clan, but eventually died of a terminal disease.
History: Shirokawa is a young member of the Kaguya clan, born of parents who were sensible enough to realize that the survival of the clan was priority over satisfying the desire to prove their worth in combat. His family members, as well as himself, are still victim of the hunger that makes them wish for a thrilling combat experience. The younger family members have a harder time suppressing this hunger, but through alternative methods they can manage to assimilate into civilization within the village without getting into too much trouble. Shirokawa copes with this stress by competing with other children in less drastic challenges, as the feeling of victory in these challenges provides a similar sense of accomplishment as defeating someone in combat. Similar, but not as potent.
As an academy student, Shirokawa was a child who did not seem to hold back on anything. His quiet demeanor did not seem to harm his reputation in the slightest, as he would sincerely speak his mind when asked or dared to do so. His arrogance and instigative nature would get him into a lot of trouble with other kids, but it was a healthy development for him to make many rivals and constantly keep himself preoccupied with a generous cycle of winning and losing. A soft spot lies within him for his rivals, because without them he would not be as great as he is now, but an even softer spot lies within him for those who were his friends even when he was defeated. His closest friends are the ones that he has decided he would protect until the end of days, and they are the ones he can speak to without fear of being ridiculed.
Shirokawa's aptitude as a shinobi is above-average, but he is no genius, or prodigy. He works hard for his success, but he has enough wit to breeze through some challenges that are presented to him. He doesn't seem to be weak in any specific area, but his true strength and passion lies in being a melee combatant. He has trained himself to be a formidable swordsman, but continues to sharpen his skills each day in hopes of being recognized as the best. He has never been fond of the idea of using Ninjutsu to overpower an opponent, unless it is through his Kekkei Genkai, since he feels that it is his birthright and he may use it to keep himself alive. Regardless of his lack of interest in Ninjutsu, he still practices it to remain flexible for whatever circumstances may arise during combat. Sometimes executing a particular Ninjutsu will allow for him to shine with his Taijutsu, and he has come to terms with this fact. Although, he hopes to condition his body and reflexes, so that he may present himself as an opponent that can maintain a presence in combat solely through Taijutsu.
Needless to say, he has quickly grown tired of the minor missions that his village provides, and he hopes to pick up a task that promises dangerous combat to truly test his worth. As said before, while his family may be a more cautious bunch from the Kaguya clan, they are still victims of the urge to fight. This unsatisfied hunger leads him to be grumpy around his friends, and even less controllable around people he dislikes. He's not shy to exploding into yelling at others, even if he is quiet most of the time.
RP Sample: A limp hand rises up to block a beam of light from blinding him, as the leaves and branches of the tree outside of his window are not adequate enough to block the beam alone. He rolls onto his back, from resting on his side, and elevates his head to displace it from the impact of the light. The same hand lowers itself once his eyes are safe and begins to scratch at the muscles on his abdomen, ridding him of an itch. He has high hopes for the day and what it had to offer him, but he doesn't place them too high. After all, the farther something falls, the more it hurts when it finally hits rock bottom. He rolls sideways and falls out from the comfort of his bed, thudding both feet against the surface of his floor to start his day off right. Both feet in at the same time!
A hand that was now firm, and not limp, would shove against his door and press it open. He walked through the opening with a confident gait, certain that there was something special about today. While he had plenty of faith in himself, that didn't mean he couldn't distribute some of that faith into the supernatural workings of life such as karma and the constellations above! He had a mysterious boon of energy fueling his every thought and move today, so he was going to use every last ounce of it. It would be rude of him to be given a gift if he were to never use it, right? Eventually, his feet would bring him to an area designated for shinobi training; it was decorated with straw dummies used for target practice and the like. From his shoulder, he withdraws a blade of bone and brandishes it with promising technique. Said technique would be roughly, yet elegantly applied to one of the training dummies. Each swing of his arm resulted in another scratch in the dummy, as well as another fragment of experience for him to grow with. Practice makes perfect, after all!
