The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Description: The sand hourglass is about two feet tall and about six inches wide with two bulbous ends connected at a tapered middle that allows the sand at the top to travel down to the bottom at a rate of one turn per hour. This holds about 40 m^3 in volume of sand. It is worn on the back with a leather strap wrapped around both the user's waist and his rib cage, under his arms, in order to keep the hourglass in place. These leather straps can be disconnected via a quick snap of the metal clasps, which would momentarily leave the wielder without free hands. There are two corked holes on either end that can be pushed out with slightly more force than the amount of weight that the sand itself produces. This means that it can only be opened by a Sankuro clan member.
The glass is more thick than normal glass, allowing it to take more damage before cracking or breaking catastrophically (three D-ranked hits in order to fully break open the hourglass, two C-ranked hits, or one B-ranked hit, all direct). The struts are made of a hardened, weather-treated wood, meaning it is not affected by water (or lack thereof). The entire apparatus weighs about 150 lbs, but can be made lighter through chakra concentration. (The Sankuro clan member could lift the sand slightly, allowing them to move faster for one post. This will be made into a jutsu.)
Abilities: Just holds sand. The glass is more thick than normal glass, allowing it to take more damage before cracking or breaking catastrophically (three D-ranked hits in order to fully break open the hourglass, two C-ranked hits, or one B-ranked hit, all direct).
History: After realizing that he would be quite defenseless outside of the desert, Sokko had a large hourglass made to very precise specifications by a local glassblower. Although it was difficult to create the right volume, Sokko was moderately pleased with the dimensions, but soon found its weight to be too much for him to use without training. It took Sankuro quite a lot of training to at least walk with the hourglass on his back, but he did eventually manage this feat.
