The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Personality: Sakumo is a very quiet and secretive individual, trusting no one. Very persistent when it comes to his studies and practice, having no time nor interest in anyone but his own goals. When it comes to a mission he chooses to follow it by the book rather than risk his life for the nature of others, if they should fall in combat or himself he rather the mission is completed then waste time trying to help him or anyone that is slowing the process of the task to be finished. Sakumo is much like an onion as he has many layers of his kindness and anger. It's only until you get to know the kid that he starts to reveal more about himself than is shown like others.
Sakumo has this idea that nothing is more important that what he is aiming for. Should those inspirations take him days, weeks or months and if nothing else is on his plate like missions or exercises with certain parties then he’ll focus solely on those goals until he feels he’s accomplished enough for it.
Likes: Sakumo doesn’t really have much on his plate since he was raised with very little growing up. So when it generally comes to things he enjoys it ranges mostly from secluded areas he can find to exercise and train his body to be that much more stronger and push the very limits of his overall health from the previous days. Every so often if he isn’t training he is mostly reading the books he picks up or finds that spark an interest for him to lose his imagination in if but for a few moments.
Sometimes which quite rare even for Sakumo to do he’ll find nice shaded areas to rest his eyes for a bit. Rice cakes and Sushi are his only know loved foods that he tries to hold room for his stomach to greet. If he can tolerate new faces, Sakumo has been regarded to share his words with folks he finds to be good company of his liking.
Dislikes: Since he is also human like any other young teenager, Sakumo also has his dislikes which are so far humid temperatures. It has been noted that he seriously hates being in or around such places. It’s not the idea of sweating or breathing hard as it’s mostly that he gets easily tired which he does not want unless he is doing something worthwhile. Should Sakumo not even so much as give you eye contact or show any kind of interest then he finds you one of many kinds of annoying people that he won’t give two cents of his time for.
And last but not least Sakumo has been shown to make otherwise goofy faces in the presence to folks he thinks enjoys to act stupid just to get the attention from others. He keeps this in mind greatly when they are in trouble or need any kind of help. And should he be the only person around he will simply turn his back and walk away because he will always remember that saving a person like that is a waste of breath and time.
Motivation: To grow stronger than the previous day, achieve everything and reach the very depth of my potential.
|Sakumo has a tendency to think he is never good enough. With this always swimming around the back of his head he comes to think by his standards no matter how much hard work and dedication he gives he’ll always have to push himself harder than the day before. Even though others when they look upon him try to inform the kid that he is quite the athletic person. Sakumo shrugs the comments off and shakes his head in disagreement and continues to believe that he needs to exert a lot more if he agrees with anything others think about him.
Sometimes because he is so hard headed, Sakumo has a twisted way of motivating himself regularly. If he can’t get a bit stronger than the day before than he tends to become more secluded away from everyone until he can match and set a new record of feats to destroy for the day to come. |

| Sometimes what brings Sakumo down is the idea that if he can’t use all of his potential then he feels a bit worthless to anyone asking for his help. But even if they inform him its nothing, Sakumo still breaks down and becomes unstable and thinks he is trash beneath the feet of others. His greatest fear of all is the feeling of total worthlessness. The sheer mindset of not being able to a thing drives Sakumo to become "gung ho" and to try anything even if it will cost him his life in the process. |

History: Sakumo does not recall much of his early childhood or who his parents were. Prior to arriving in the Shippuugakure (hidden Hurricane), everything remains a blur. The traveling party he was with for most of his early years did very little to remain secluded from any hostile threats. They came across Sakumo who was but a small baby in the clutches of two people that could have very well been his parents holding the basket as if they gave their lives to protect their only child from whatever killed them. The only thing the traveling party could do is give the young infant a name since they had no clue if the child had a name or not. Deciding on Sakumo because it seemed to fit the child who showed a small laughter as if taking a liking to the name as well, Nakajima was given because the traveling party all shared that last name like one big family. Sakumo grew to be quite the secretive teenager and kept his own agenda of training and honing his own regimen of exercised routines further away from each new camp site the traveling group he had been with made. Sakumo had no real reason to why he did this but felt that this was something he was driven for some strange purpose to do.
Over his course of learning to move freely on his own and within reason of his choices he never gave the group any reason to think he was a troublemaker or someone that thought ill of them. He treated his only family with great respect but he had such a funny way of showing that love and compassion. Sakumo had found he loved books almost as much as he loved exercising in total seclusion. So when he started to incorporate both together that love just grew as he got a bit older. He had at one point showed that he cared very deeply for his group when Aiko who had ventured far out and tried to follow him to one of his more secretive areas he tried to train at. She was nearly killed holding on for her from a tree trunk that hung over a huge cliff side and it was here that Sakumo showed is love and deep concern for her.
Upon arriving aimlessly toward the gates of Shippuugakure, Sakumo who was now old enough to think for himself was left in the village as they waved and took one last look at him as to wish him all the best should he make something of himself now since they can’t do much more than they already have.

Days felt like years as Sakumo Nakajima watched his young years go on by. Having no recollection of anything other than migrating from one spot toward another, the traveling party was nothing special. Most of what they did was simply buying and selling items such as food, clothes and anything that can help them for the time being to make a small profit. Seen as one big traveling store that set up shop only near local spots that had the most passing wanders looking for items that can help them along their journeys they took. Growing up it wasn’t much of excitement but then again for a kid he had seen much as far as various countryside and villages whereas most only get those chances when out on serious missions.
Sakumo was a very quiet kid back then; sometimes the only thing he would recall doing when he found spots along way would consists of simply exercising from push-ups, sit-ups and even so far as standing up on his hands and balance for long periods of times. It wasn’t much else he could do. He was only limited by his imagination and for that he mostly worked on his physical condition of reaching a potential he sought to achieve at some point in time. After such long hours of doing the same routine he would find a quiet shady area and post up with a book of his liking since his family came across quite the selection of them in the travels.
Sakumo had a small but manageable taste for books that had always kept a cliffhanger note with excitement, worry and suspense with each chapter he dove into. Sometimes his adopted family and friends who were all a part of the same group would catch him off doing his own thing and would try and engage him just to see if he has a different attitude when left alone.
“This book is quite exquisite...30, 31, 32,” finishing the latest chapter Sakumo found a way to read his latest book along with doing one of his many exercise positions. He sets his book down with the first chapter ready to be looked at. Standing up on his hands as to find a solid balance since the uneasy terrain does give him just a bit of goofy adjustment to find. It doesn’t take long for Sakumo to really find his placement with his hands and balance and immediately he starts to push his entire weight down onto his hands with his body held up. Counting each time he goes down to read for a few moments a section of the chapter. Back up he breathes in and then out.
"Hey papa look, Sakumo…How does he even do such a thing?” a little girl points from behind a large thick bushy plant as she doesn’t want to be spotted. Her fascination with watching Sakumo do something she has never seen with her own two eyes do before. As much as she is standing in a shock of awe so is her father who can’t help but look on as he too is quite overwhelmed that Sakumo who is no more than 12yrs of age do this with such a degree of control.
“I have no real answer, I too am speechless with what that boy is capable of,” The older man has never had an idea that Sakumo was even remotely capable of doing this kind of thing. His thoughts on this boy were always so far off. Sakumo struck him as a boy that kept always to himself and only did what he needed to for the sake of the group. Nothing was ever hinted that he was someone that enjoyed or did any kind of rigorous activities like this.
“78, 79, 80…” Reaching a small but yet extraordinary number of hand stand pushups, the young Sakumo gradually and with serious control brought his lower body down to the floor before resuming the standard push up. The overall process was quite something for a young kid with no real formal coaching. It was noted from the older man and his daughter that Sakumo had more about him than what anyone could put a finger on. He was found along the way by the traveling group who past by this small village that was hit by some serious threat. Being the only survivor, nobody knew what happen and took this baby boy and raised him as best as they could. Having no name, the group did the best they could to give the child clothes and food and help him become his own person. But like all mysterious events, Sakumo had never been one to let any of them get close to him emotionally.
The old man and his daughter had no idea and made a agreement never to tell anyone of this until they see more of what Sakumo was capable of. It was the same routine every sunrise the little girl and her father would follow Sakumo out to a nearby spot which was only two miles from the camp site they had set up along the ways. “I sure hope Sakumo doesn’t realize we are following him,” the little girl says to her father as she doesn’t want Sakumo to think anything ill of her. “I don’t personally think Sakumo thinks anything bad or good about us because he does what he likes without anyone knowing a single thing about his whereabouts. He is a clever boy, if to think he has been doing this since he could move freely on his own then there is really no telling what else he is physically capable of. Let’s not interact with Sakumo yet,” The old man says as both he and his little daughter are only tailing Sakumo to his usual spot. They usually can see him from where they find cover from.
Like a normal routine they too have never had anything exciting to go and see. So watching Sakumo do this was what they felt was needed to break away from their own routine of stuff. IT wasn’t long before more and more started to follow the old man and daughter and with that most of the group had an idea that Sakumo was more different than everyone in the group as a whole. What they had to agree on much like the father and daughter did was never openly talk to him and only to keep it a secret.
Sakumo was not stupid but he did not mine what the group decided to do. Nodding his head as if he spotted them but quickly he shook off the large bushes that sat all over the area in which he was exercising by. This was nothing amazing for him because he had been doing this for as long as he could remember. He always went off in search for nearby spots he could find solitude at when the traveling group would find a new camp site so they could sell and trade items.
“They must all think I am an idiot, can I really blame them. I personally don’t mind what they attempt to do,” Sakumo thinks as he can see them all huddling up under different spots of bushes. “Papa do you think he has realized already that we watch him so exclusively. And now that a lot more of the group has joined into see him as well?” A look of worry forms over her innocent face as she doesn’t know what is going to happen if Sakumo decides to react toward them. “Don’t worry at all, he never cared before why should he care now. But I am sure he has always known he just don’t let it bother him,”
As time went on...Sakumo grew to the age of sixteen years of age and his physique grew as well as he displayed the physical fitness of a stronger teenager than most, he found even better spots to train and exercise in which proved even more difficult for the others to even attempt to track or follow him at. He showed a fearless nature of moving like a wild animal as he had otherwise suicidal tendencies to jumps at crazy cliff side areas that held spots where he could train from a great distance from anyone else. As the little grew older she took to Sakumo like a moth to a flame and wanted to at least get his attention by any means necessary. “HELP PLEASE ANYONE,” the girl screamed in panic as she tried to attempt to jump and grab a branch to make it over onto the spot in which Sakumo was training at. For a few short minutes she felt as if nobody was going to come and her worry of death was creepy in that much more than before. “I will die and Sakumo will never know I existed,” As tears flown down her face she had could feel something deep within telling her to let go and fall. And with those thoughts the girl let go, “Goodbye Sakumo,” It was within those moments in which she passed out that something or someone grabbed her hand. “Wake up Aiko,” Sakumo had grabbed her at the last moment when he heard her cries faintly from his location he was held up at.
His hands were quite rough from all the climbing and stuff he would do on his own time. “Aiko wake up…you are safe now AIKO!!” A warmth she had never felt before held her cheeks and neck area. Slowly but surely her eyes opened to see Sakumo staring down at her in worry. His voice was faint but also soothing to her soul. Blushing as her face turned quite red because as much as she wanted to grab his attention she did not fully prepare for this moment and with a cracking voice answer “I...Ugh...I am oookay. My apologies Sakumo-kun”
“There is no reason to apologies for anything, I should apologies for not coming sooner but I just barely heard your cry for help. I do hope you are alright,” Showing compassion for her safety and worry most of all throws Aiko off completely as she had no idea that he could speak let alone be with sincere and respectful. Climbing to her feet she accepts his words and somehow has the needed courage to head back to the camp site hoping Sakumo would follow her back.
“So are you coming Sakumo,” Aiko had hoped he would come along as she wanted to get more one on one time with him because it was now after so long that he even showed any signs of interest in her. Even if she had to go and do something very stupid to grab that attention from him;
“Unfortunately no I am not, but I can help you back to camp then I will return back here to continue my latest book I had gotten,” Like a bad note, Sakumo responses that he has not finished enough of his newest book he is so over worked up on continuing but reassurances her that he can help her back should she need to be.

Put an appearance image above your application. Specify which type of weapons you're specialized in with Bukijutsu in Specializations. Swords, katanas, kodachis etc. Pick one.

"Katanas" should instead be "Kenjutsu" which is specialization with swords.
Motivations and Fears: Give me brief descriptions (in complete sentences :D) of each point for these sections to give me a feel of how your character ticks.
