The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Subject: Yuhara Rin(Done) Sun Dec 26, 2010 1:18 am
Mirage I could be considered a thorn in your side. Ninja Application
Personal
First Name: Rin Last Name: Yuhara Alias: Thorn of Roses Gender: Female Age: 17 Birthday: May 26 Sexuality: Bisexual Relationships: Suzumi Mao is Rins best(and so far, only) friend Affiliation: Kusamuragakure Rank: Chuunin Element: Doton(Primary), Suiton, Fuuton Specialization: Ninjutsu(Primary), Ijutsu, Taijutsu
Personal v2
Personality: Rin sees all animals as well as plants as equals, even as far as in gender. Her ability to talk to plants have caused her to move away from the society of men and spend more time outside. She is pretty timid around people. She despises fire, and sees it as the root of evil and destruction. Unlike many other nature lovers she believes in the circle of life, and is capable of eating both animals and plants. She disapproves of mistreating of both when they are bred to be food though. Rin is often very emotional. She is easily thrown of her delicate mental balance, and often keeps quiet in conversations when this happens, if she doesn't run away or even attack in extreme cases. She also have serious trust issues. Rin does not understand human humour too well, but she wishes to learn it. Rin isn't pessimistic, but she is also far from optimistic. She doesn't like to fight if she don't have to, but she can enjoy a friendly spar with someon she trusts once in a while.
Likes: Nature(especially plants), People who respect nature, The feeling of wind in her hair, talking with plants and Suzumi.
Dislikes: Big gatherings, Pyromaniacs, Kazangakure, mistreatment of animals and plants.
Motivation: Rin wants to protect nature from people that destroy it.
Fears: Rin fears a future where humanity have destroyed most part of nature, and lives in a world where no plants exists. She also have a fear of not being accepted, which is why she is so shy.
Clan Information
Spoiler:
Clan name: Yuhara
Bloodline Name: Neichāzugēto (Nature's gate)
Bloodline Ability: The Neichāzugēto is an inherited gene that allows the user to communicate with plants. By opening a mental gate the user adapts their dna into different aspects of the plantlife, which can then be used to for example grow thorns on their body. Only one aspect can be used at a time(unless they have aspect mastery, see jutsus), but they last until the user cancels them or uses another aspect. Along with this they have control over plants by sending chakra signals down their rootworks (This still works like regular jutsus), similar to Wood release jutsus. Eyes appearance with the gate activated.
Location: Kusamuragakure
Clan History: The Yuhara clan traces back to ancient times, back to before written language. They lived in the jungle of Kusamuragakure, which they call Ursali, long before the founders arrived. It it speculated whether the ancient ruins that can be found inside it are their old homes or not. No one knows where their peculiar bloodline comes from, but there are plenty of myths on the subject. Some tell of a pact with a forest deity, while others say that the Yuhara originates from plants rather than primates. While most of the myths are highly unlikely there might be a hint of truth in some of them. The Yuhara always lived in harmony with nature, giving and taking according to the circle of life. Their connection to nature is like a religion, but they do not worship any gods. They have a high spiritual belief, and believe in reincarnation. They have many traditions, such as the celebration of spring and the ritual with their coming of age(around 12 years old). When the founders of Kusamuragakure settled in Ursali they gave the Yuhara an indirect ultimatum: Join us or move away. They High Shaman of the Yuhara clan decided to align them with the newcomers, since they were highly outnumbered. The clan proved to be very useful, with their bloodline allowing them to cooperate with nature. The clan soon became of high caste in the village, but they weren’t respected by everyone. Many still saw them as the savages of old, as they refused to give up their old traditions. The clan lived outside the village in a small settlement, holding on to as much of their lifestyle as possible.
History
Spoiler:
Childhood Arc Rin was born in a small house in the outskirts of Kusamuragakure. She was like a godsent gift to her mother and father, who had been trying to get a child for the past 20 years without any luck. As was the tradition of the Yuhara, Rin was already at an early age taught to respect nature as an equal. Rin was not like other children however. She had been picked out as the target by a group of bullies, and she reacted by isolating herself from other children. Instead she got friends in her garden. At the age of three she had already developed the ability to converse with plants, something that usually occured around the age of five. Rins parents were worried about her behaviour, but they didn't have the hearts to tell her that she couldn't isolate herself like that. And so the years passed.
Friendship Arc When Rin turned six her parents decided to hold a surprise birthday party for her, and despite the fact that she didn't have any friends they invited children from around the neighbourhood. At first Rin showed signs of interest, even if she was wary. She tried playing with some of them. The fun didn't last long, though. Rin was playing on the lawn when she suddenly stopped and sat down on her knees(Kids are very impulsive). She had found a single dandelion and she was awed at its beauty. An older boy held another impression of the plant, he saw it only as a weed. He pushed away Rin and dragged the dandelion up from the ground, all the while teasing Rin for being upset about it. Rin ran away from the party into the woods, but a girl had followed her. Her name was Suzumi Mao, and she sat down beside Rin. Suzumi comforted Rin, and after a long time somehow got her to answer. They spent the whole day there and only talked. Suzumi soon became Rins only friend, but her best nonetheless.
Ninja Academy Arc Following her parents footsteps in becoming a ninja(as well as Suzumis) seemed like an obvious thing to do for Rin, but it wasn't easy on her. She had real troubles talking to people, and often kept away from the others. She always failed in teamwork, and despite her great talents in both ninjutsu and ijutsu she flunked, forced to redo all her work. The second time she was barely approveable, but her other talents caused the teachers to see through their fingers. They figured that she would learn teamwork as she got more experience. It wasn't high on Rins priority list, though. She would rather train her individual skills than her teamwork.
Genin Arc Once Rin became a genin she was assigned to a team of three like any other ninja. Her teamates were Fujimoto Daiki, a hothead that dreamed of becoming a kage, and Idane Fumiko, who was of high caste and seemed to have a crush on Daiki. They went on different D-rank missions which suited Rin just fine at the moment, but Daiki managed to talk himself into getting a few C-ranks. Rin got a huge use for her talents, but it also showed her lack of teamwork abilities. There were a lot of conflicts just because she for example wouldn't care to warn her teammates about any danger. This almost caused them to lose their lives once when a mission went overboard. Luckily they managed to get out of the incident alive, and they started trusting each other as a result.
Chuunin Exams Arc The team managed to do so good that they were nominated for the Chuunin Exams by their sensei. This made Daiki overjoyed, and he got careless. Their objective was to reach the goal point as soon as possible, and if they came across another team they could use any tricks to get ahead. They stumbled across another team of ninja, from Kazangakure. The other ninja were immoral, and used fire jutsu to set fire to the field around Rin, Daiki and Fumiko. Rin barely managed to save herself and Fumiko by extending vines to a nearby tree, but was too late to save Daiki. His screams echoed throughout the night. Eventually they managed to pass the Chuunin Exams, but Fumiko never spoke to Rin again, obviously mad about her inability to save Daiki. Rin went back to her isolated ways, barely speaking to anyone else than Suzumi.

From another site I'm roleplaying on. It's an opening post, and I'm aiming to write like this as much as I can.
Spoiler:
It was late night when Lex Luthor entered the LexCorp building. The moon lit up the night and sent bright beams through the numerous windows that the L-shaped tower had. The guards let him pass the doors without questioning, but not before he had gone through the standard security procedures. A metal detector was all what was needed to get into the building. Once you were inside however, you couldn't do much besides wait in the lobby. Buisnessmen got certain guestcards that they could use solely for their purpose. Scientists had to undergo certain procedures such as iris and voice control depending on the level they were working on. Lex himself had access to all levels of the tower, but he still had to go through the checks. Some might call him paranoid, but those who did usually didn't end up with an empire as vast as his.
True, he owned the larger part of Metropolis. This was something he would be proud of, if it wasn't for that damned Daily Planet. They were like gravel in his flour, an annoying part of Metropolis that wouldn't budge to his superior buisness ideas. He didn't want the Daily Planet for its actual worth but for the sole purpose of monopoly, and for the fact that nobody ever crossed Lex Luthor and won. That was true until Superman arrived. He clenched his fists and saw himself lose his cool in the mirror on the wall of the elevator. This Superman had ruined his plans more times than he dared to count. He didn't know why, he was intellectually superior. He could prove this, he had been able to slip away from all of his involvements in crimes, and the so called hero hadn't been able to prove him guilty of anything. While the Superman was virtually indestructible, Lex Luthor was virtually untouchable.
He exited the elevator, no longer showing any signs of frustration. His night-time secretary looked up with surprise written on her face. "Mr. Luthor? I didn't know you had planned to work tonight?" She asked. She was always like that. She built those schedules like a card house, but as soon as something unexpected happened it fell apart. The reason he had her working here however was that she was surprisingly quick to rebuild. He shook his head. "I hadn't, but something came up that caught my attention. Send any visitors to my office. There's no need to notify me. I already know of their coming." He said and continued past her. "Visitors? At this time of night?" She asked. Curiosity was another trademark of hers, something Lex praised but didn't encourage. She knew this, and quickly went back to her work. "Yes, mr Luthor." She said as Lex smiled. She knew her place, just like everyone else in the building.
He entered his large office. It was filled with various statues and paintings, nothing worth less than a fortune. He loved culture, but not as much as he loved showing visitors his superiority. Anyone who entered the office would instantly know how far they were from becoming as him. He sat down at his desk, which was placed across the rectangular room, facing the door. Behind it were a large window wall. He picked up some documents and started reading through them to pass the time. He hadn't been planning on working on them until the morning, but when he was here he might as well do it. That was the kind of thinking that got you far.
That wasn't the reason he was here, however. No, he had just like anyone else taken an interest in the merger, a phenomenon that had merged two worlds together. At first this had enraged him, as he realised that his power diminished when new rich companies appeared. He would take care of them eventually, no company could rival LexCorp for an extended amount of time. That wasn't his main concern now anyways. He had realised that with the new world came new possibilities. He could get new contacts, new buisness partners. But what really intrigued him was the lower world. There were tons of villains just waiting to be convinced to work for him. While others, such as the ever so annoying Bruce Wayne and his Wayne Enterprises, investigated the new world, he didn't. No, he had already taken action. He had sent hundreds of people to seek out various individuals, all containting the same message. Lex Luthor wishes to speak with you. He was here because he had learned that someone had taken up on the offer. He had an mischievous smile on his lips as he thought about his grand plan. With the right cast of people behind him, no one would be able to stop him. Not even Superman.
