Clan History: This clan was the result of an experimental evil shinobi who was eventually killed. However his "victims" where not realized to have been altered until later after he was a forgotten entity. This shinobi tried to make a people who's very body was both poisonous and a virus continuously changing so it couldn't be countered. His dream could not be achieved merely because it is impossible but he did make a group of people who are tortured by a living virus that eventually either kills them or they master this virus and can change into the virus. (will be explained as the S-rank)

This clan has very uncouth methods as they themselves are trying to make their bloodline stronger and more survivable yet at the same time suffer from varying elements of mental illnesses.



Kekkei Genkai Description: The Byoukin is a form of virus that will either be controlled or control the infected. In the end it either consumes them or they become the viral being.

The Virus is a chakra body that can change in size but since the birth of a clan member is microscopic until they learn to use the viral chakra. The viral Chakra enters and exits their body from any location on it and can grow into 4 foot spikes with spikes coming from it as well based on the size it grows to. Using this virus does damage the users body but also heals the self imposed damage by 80% of the damage caused. The virus bodies both need the shinobi as the shinobi's body needs them. As a result of being infected if 50% of the viral organisms inside of the shinobi die then the shinobi will die as well. The virus hardens into a chiton that is as hard as caldonized steel but only when it gets to 2 foot in size or larger. Smaller than that and it is comparable in hardness to iron.

Everyone in this clan suffers from one or more severe mental illnesses. Their Viral body count is fixed at the age of four and after that it will never permanently raise or lower. This should be stated in the profile somewhere what their total is. Only Jinchuriki and a few other special cases can have more than 4000.


Drawbacks: If chakra is not mastered by age of 18 the person is killed, Everyone who is a member suffers from one but typically two or more mental illnesses. Before they master their chakra and become one with their Byoukin they cant mold chakra properly and are viewed as exceptionally weak shinobi. Lightning is highly effective in fighting these shinobi. When a viral body aka the spikes are destroyed it takes a single body on average 50 posts after the topic in which the viral body was destroyed in to regenerate. This means the viral bodies have a very slow regeneration rate.

Duration: After being fired the needles have two posts to return into the body or they die. If a Byoukin looses 50% of their viral prescense (the needles and viral bodies in their blood) they die. The jutsu can stay active for two posts.

Description: By learning to implement their chakra into and form the viral bodies they do not need hand signs and shoot the viral needles from their body. This is the first technique that anyone from this clan ever learns. The needles grow just before exiting the body from wherever it exits the body tearing and rending the skin and until the shinobi themselves are chuunin level cannot make the needles larger than four inches. They can also fire no more than three at a time while genin. The needles have 2 posts after being fired to re-enter the body or they die and turn to dust. If this happens the shinobi is weaker for several hours and sometimes days depending on how much was lost.

The maximum amount of needles for a shinobi grows as they age. Ratio is Genin has 10% of their max, chuunin 30% jounin and special jounin have 80% and sannin/ kage have 100%. The 100% is defined when creating a character. AS they level they should note somewhere their maximum amount. In the profile only under special conditions will the 100% be able to reach 5,000 Most will average between 3,000-4,000 and weaker shinobi can be as low as 2000. Most genin only have a few hundred. Once lost a needle could take several months to be recreated internally. For genin level the speed is a little faster then the average throwing speed at about 40 feet per second. this speed only changed at Jounin level when they acquire the extra control. The needles are designed to pierce similar to a kunai but they are intended to go through the target rending a small centimeter sized hole.

Once a shinobi is chuunin the viral needles can change size and shape. They also can fire a vast amount of them at once instead of having a limit. They also don't have to be fired but can merely exit the body and hold as a form of defense for the host but this can only be done at chuunin level due to lower levels not having the control needed to heal the injuries with the virus were as jounin level can heal up to 80% of the injury caused so they are merely bruised from using the viral bodies. At chuunin level the holes made are no longer solid circles and are twice the size as before. The viral needles can stay as needles and shoot the barbs out the sides once entered into a target ripping nasty wounds as they continue.

At Jounin level the only real change is that the needles can be controlled like they are body parts of the user and this gives them a special rotation form to them. The rotation fires them much faster and can go through rock and most lesser armors roughly thin layers of steel or iron. most steal has to be hit several times at the same spot before being broken however. The rotation makes them fly up to 80 feet per second. The holes that can be rendered with even one of these due to the barbs and their rotation can have an entrance wound as small as a centimeter and as large as an inch and the exit wound is roughly twice that.

Description: The Shinobi has completely mastered the virus within and become one with it literally. Using hand symbols for two posts they are able to completely transform their body into a swarm of viral needles. For each Shinobi there are a different amount which is the basis for how much Chakra/power of their bloodline they have. The weakest will have one thousand needles. Average is two thousand the most powerful ever recorded was five thousand but his circumstances where a little vague and the number could not be confirmed. This was likely an exaggerated number. (If Naruto with the nine tails working hand and hand like Bee did this they would make five thousand)

The shinboi must be a Jounin to learn this jutsu. However as a Jounin they will die if they use it as they wont have the chakra to return to human form. The chakra is used to both change form and return to human form but at jounin level they wont have the complete fusion state with the viral form yet so the chakra cost is significantly higher then what they have. They can remain in viral swarm for four posts and fly twice as fast as a human can run. It takes a full post for them to reform their human form but if they dont they will die and be reduced to dust. If 20% of their needles die they will reform and instantly fall unconscious. If 40% of their needles are destroyed they will reform in a coma. If 50% of their needles are destroyed they will reform but as a chiton statue that will turn to dust slowly.

The swarm flies essentially as a massive group of needles alike to the previous jutsu. The major difference is the entire body is the viral needles and that the swarm is meant to target large groups or riddle one shinobi with an endless swarm of the needles. As for attacking the swarm Lightning is incredibly powerful against it as it can jump from needle to needle rather quickly. The swarm however renders wind completely useless as they cut through the wind. The jutsu is completely offensive and it's defensive uses are rather low the best it can do is move a section of the swarm to avoid counter attacks.
