Bloodline Name: Hydrification

Bloodline Ability: A kekkei genkai that allows the user to absorb water into the body which then causes the user to liquefy portions or their entire body with enough water, making it impossible to receive damage from physical attacks. From a single hair, to the skin and muscles, everything can be liquefied and solidified at will of the user with enough liquid. Be it to evade an enemy's attack during a short range battle, to infiltrate a structure, or to launch a surprise attack in a liquefied state, this technique boasts a high strategic value. When the user passes out whilst transformed, they turn into a jelly-like state. Since this technique turns the body into water, the Hozuki are extremely vulnerable to Lightning Release techniques.

Location: Shippugakure.

Clan History: The Hozuki Clan is a group of ninja pirates that originated from Shippugakure with the ability to turn their bodies into liquefied form using the Hydrification Technique. It is said that they might have been part of a more noble family at one point, but the actions of one rebellious son changed his descendent's fate when he stole a boat and through use of his water jutsu and inherited ability, started his own pirate gang that eventually began working against and occasionally with more notorious pirates. But all still knew the Hozuki name and kekkei genkai and many feared it. This ability however seems to require that they stay hydrated at all times and as such, members are known to carry water bottles around with them. Eventually many of the clan members were either incarcerated with help of the Shippugakure Navy or killed from battles with other pirates or infighting. One of the more renowned Hozuki clan members remaining is, Suitomo Hozuki, pirate Captain of the ship Kurajira Kira.

Description: By putting the Hydrification Technique into practical use, the muscles of the users body can be temporarily enlarged and strengthened. Moisture is gathered from the whole body and compressed into the selected area(s), like an instant pump-up. However, because it is essential to properly control the moisture balance inside the body, this technique's degree of difficulty is very high. The technique gives the user superhuman strength and defense, capable of breaking through both rock walls and steel doors or withstanding brutal attacks.

Description: After using the Hydrification Technique to merge with a large water source, the user can form a giant wave that looks like a demon or tailed beast. The user can use this form to battle larger opponents, or they can use it to shield allies from attack. In this state, the user is able to use a wide range of already known water jutsu from anywhere over the newly created body. Though it is strong enough to hold off a tailed beast physically, it cannot however withstand a tailed beast bomb.
