The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Yuen would no doubt know just what to do in this realm with her eyes looking around and her lips dampened by her tongue, it was a calm place, a very chilled environment as her eyes would watch around the place with a steady glance and easy glare. She had never been to such a village before while her body was clothed in pure black with a brown cloak tapering over her body for warmth she found herself entering into a theatre with her eyes scanning the place and seeing its beauty though she never did comment on it, rather she was a practitioner here for the day.
She would find her way through the rooms until she found her studio and would pick up the cello that she would begin playing. It was an hour before her show nonetheless however she thought it would be good to start playing. While dressed as she was she also had her village headband of the storm covering her right eye where she had replaced it with a Hyuuga eye. Her body moved into the audience room and she would from there begin playing many Iliad’s of small songs for tempo and speed practice, mainly to tune the instrument to its fullest regard.

Xaiver had decided that today would be the day of all days that he would get out and see one of those musical performances that occurs every few days he was getting pretty tired of everyone harassing him about not going or whatever so for the sake of his sanity he went out and bought a ticket. Xaiver didn't have much to do otherwise so he would begin wandering around the village like he normally did when he had nothing else to do, it beat sitting in the house and accomplishing nothing but becoming a lazy bum munching on some tacos or whatever. The boredom today however was becoming a bit excessive even for Xavier "truth be told I've never been inside the theatre before, might be good to at least explore it if anything else" he was talking to himself of course but nevertheless the idea seemed to be a fairly good one to say the least.
Arriving at the theater he would not hesitate to enter and look around, it was quite big, scratch that it was big as heck. Xavier could only wonder how much ryo went into a place as marvelous as this, he would whistle as he examined the entire thing from what seemed to be the center of theatre. Xavier would take a seat in one of the theatre's chairs as he continued to take in what he was seeing, he wasn't one to be surprised easily however this was a special case he guessed. While he was scrolling through these thoughts however he could swear he heard the sound of a musical instrument, either he was losing his mind or someone else was also here. Rising from his seat he would follow the sound up until he saw someone playing on their instrument, he would not interrupt however as he would allow this person to finish before he decided to make his presence known.

Yuen enjoyed the capacity of the lovely sounds of the music she listened to while she played. Having perfected the tuning she playing her scales, ranging from the D scale on up to high E scale and even the higher scales as she would then bring it all down once more, the deep and rich music pouring through her cello and into the world around her as she would smile while playing. Yes she enjoyed the music to the highest acceptable regard with a voice of an angel being played directly by her hand. Her eyes closed as she had not even noticed someone had entered.
Yuen always got into playing her music and she could not believe how great such music was in her ears as her eyes would close and her music continued to filter out of her instrument and through the world around her. It was all beautiful in her eyes while the music itself was highly important as well. Such a beautiful thing to her as she would play with the instrument before stopping, catching her breath. Setting the instrument aside and onto a balance stand as she would smile and look past the lights and through the crowd seeing someone had entered.
Yuen did not know what to do personally, being seen before the show as she was in complete regard as well. She wondered if he would speak and if he would what would he say. It was curious of her to wonder this while at the same time she paid little mind to it as her eyes merely would look out at him seeing him as the only one in the audience while she would be already an hour early for her show anyways. She would respond kindly, “Sir, the show does not start for another hour, can I help you?”

Xavier would remain quiet throughout the girl's little music session, as she seemed to be rather focused on her music. Crossing his arms he would enjoy the music that her instrument produce it was rather good, Xavier ponder if he would be experiencing this when the performance was to begin in about an hour or so. As he watched he took note that who ever this lady was she seemed to be rather connected to her music on a different level then normal musicians were. Xavier would watch as she completed her little music session and rest her instrument on stand, from what he could see she saw him standing there watching and for a time silence passed through the theater.
Xavier had planned on speaking but before he did she would ask if he needed assistance, Xavier would walk forward and shake his head "I'm aware when the performance is due to start, I am just exploring the theatre as this actually my first time even entering this place, speaking of the show would you be one of the performers?". Xavier would stop once he reached the front row and take a seat in one of the chairs as he waited for a response from this person whom he didn't know. As he waited he would take a closer look at the instrument she was playing he would examine it to the best of his ability, even though he knew little about instruments anyway so he probably wouldn't even be able to get any sort of information on it by just looking and yet he would try anyway.

Yuen had looked up at him when she saw him walking forward, the steps he made echoed in such a great hall as well. She was surprised he was just exploring, and for someone like him she would also be surprised if he was from this village and never been in here, ‘So is he from a different village?’ was something that went through her mind. Her own nationality, or rather village jurisdiction, was clearly there to see covering her Hyuuga eye like an eye patch. The discolored eyes were always something she never cared for plus the Hyuuga she took the eye from was also probably still looking for his eye somewhere down the line.
Yuen would actually be blinking now as she would also smile. “Yes I am one of the performers. I am actually apart of the solo section of the show as well after the main orchestra.” She would say it calmly with her eye looking at him, that red eye of hers that matched her hair’s pigmentation. Her focus would be on him when he took a seat in the front before she had spoke. She did notice him looking at what she would be playing as she would explain kindly.
“This instrument is a cello. Apart of the violin family though very deep voiced to match that of a bass man’s singing.” She demonstrated this with a long shallow stroke of the first key, as if drawing out a long pause with which it was coming out with a very dynamic tone. She would set the bow down after performing the demonstration as her eyes looked at him. “My name is Yuen by the way, what’s yours?” She would ask this after hopping down and sitting on the edge of the stage, closing some distance between the two of them.

Xavier had taken into account that her headband over her eye had reveled her to be someone not belonging to the village of Hyouga (so maybe she was an on the road performer of sorts? That must be fairly entertaining right? but there's also a lot of moving involved and that just sucks) X's mind began to throw around questions, answers, and then more questions nevertheless he would save the questions for now sense there were formalities to get out of the way and what not with this person in his presence. Xavier would remain quiet as she explain to him what her role would be in tonight's performance, or well roles in her case she must have been a pretty good performer and X wouldn't deny it sense he caught a bit of what she could do even if only a little.
Xavier would continue his reign of silence as she had caught him eyeing her instrument and seeing the he clearly had no idea what it was she would help him out and proceed to explain that is was a fine instrument by the name of a cello she even demonstrated the sound it made which was rather different from a normal violin.Xavier's eyes would re-focus on the girl as she had taken a seat on the edge of the stage now and had introduced her self and waited for Xavier to do the same. Xavier would sigh a bit before proceeding to speak "Xavier, the name's Xavier".

So his name is Xavier, a name of intellect over brawn. It was definitely a good name as Yuen would think on it lightly with a steady smile to her lips as she would look at him and be curious just who he was in terms of Hyouga. Her eyes looking at him with a steady glance as she would smile and ask kindly. “So Xavier, if you would not mind me asking, what do you believe a ninja is?” She was curious and she figured that this question would provide something for her to mull over in her mind in terms of his personality.
That was a key thing to her, knowing one’s personality only allowed her to either hide more of herself or expose more. Her eye looked at him while she would watch with a steady glance and a friendly smile to her lips as she would swing her legs back and forth waiting for an answer or a rebuke of any kind. Her definition of a ninja was highly mainstreamed with a twist so if he had asked of hers she no doubt would give it while at the same time she would wonder if he could think differently for the better of her definition.
Yuen would keep all of this in mind, steadily watching and achieving all her mentality with a kindred smile and happy glance with her distance of smiling charisma about her own lips and smiles and more. She would merely keep reserved while trying to be outgoing while her scarred self was something to keep hidden for the time being in all of its regards. It was who she was and what she could accomplish most in her own life and line of work. A ninja is a cruel living thing, and there was no way they could accomplish their own lives.

Xavier watched the girl she seemed rather calm or hostile, at least not yet, he had to keep in mind that anyone had the potential the potential to be a threat even if it's a woman who played for the people. As he was thinking she would ask him a rather ordinary yet out of the ordinary question, he would think on it for a bit it was a question people asked other shinobi all the time Xavier just never stayed around to hear their answers and now he had to come up with his own. "What do I believe a ninja is? Hmm someone whom has given them self up to the protection of the village and it's inhabitants, someone who takes the burden of the village on their shoulders so that the civilians don't have to or something like that I never was a good philosopher sorry". Xavier would smile and rub the back of his head speaking like that was never one of his strong suits.
"Well sense you asked me I shall ask you, so Ms.Yuen what do you believe a ninja is?" Xavier would wait for her response he wanted to see how she viewed most of the people who would give their lives to protect their families and the future generation. Xavier would suppress a yawn, it seemed his day was rather quiet for once which was also rather boring after his time spent with this girl was over all he would have left afterward would be the performance and after that nothing he would have nothing left to do how dull and boring. Xavier, now refocusing his attention on the girl once more, watched her, with a bit more intensity then he had intended he wanted to know who she was now beyond that shell she has on the outside but the question was would he get the chance to go beyond what the shell blocked everyone else out from.

Yuen would listen to his belief of what a ninja was, it was almost a word for word example of what she believed back when she was merely an academy student. Her eyes closed when she would even smile upon listening to this. Even though he was no philosopher he still held a strong believes that all ninja believed in one time or another. Yuen on the other hand had faced reality and bit down on it hard. Her life was no longer her own to put it plainly and for that she believed in many cruel things of difficulty throughout her own knowledge and beliefs.
Yuen would nod now that she was the target of such a question. She would lay back and looked up at the ceiling, as she would breathe a heavy sigh. “Ninja are deviants, they hold no honor and they have no code of conduct. They could care less for their own villagers than just their own pitiful lives. A ninja lives to protect some say but in my line of life I have only known them to be bred as murderers and rapists.” She spoke harshly of the subject, her point of view was completely different than this boy but she merely took it with a grain of salt.
Yuen would hear something, a crowd forming as she would stand and smile, “Well seats are about to fill, I suggest you pick a good one.” She would say as she went to her instrument and carried it to the back of the curtains as the orchestra was already setting up. Her spot near the left hand side for complete view as she was a soloist for most songs. She wondered if that boy would understand her beliefs or even want to watch a performance like this knowing one of them hated most ninja in the ninja world.

Xavier would listen to her response to the question and boy was it a harsh one many people have different views on the world so Xavier couldn't blame her is she felt this way he had no idea what she could have possibly been through in order to see the world that way. Xavier himself at one time could relate to the feeling seeing how he had a piece of his family torn from him by the very thing he was some what defending now and it wasn't defending his title as a shinobi because he had to it was because he didn't want to be called someone whom wrecked lives for their own sake it just wasn't in X's nature if he had to be the only 'good' ninja in the world then so be it. Xavier could only imagine what this one had been through though "Yeah I see what you mean..." Xavier would say no more on the subject as the conversation seemed to be coming to a halt and X was happy that it was, his emotions were becoming a bit unstable.
Xavier would also hear the forming crowd and would sigh it seemed this would quite possibly be the last time they chatted and Xavier couldn't exactly claim this girl to be his friend or even an ally, just someone he knew, she herself probably just saw him as some kind of stranger whom she'd never have to speak to again "oh well I suppose". As she rose to leave X would wave as she disappeared behind the curtains but he would not leave his current seat, at least not yet if anything the seat he had picked was just fine in his opinion, however whether or not he would stay would soon be determined.

The audience had come, the chatter out there was effectively nerve racking for most and yet Yuen remained calm as the crowds chatter was high. The director came in and spoke to everyone, “Alright ladies and gentlemen, tonight we have a rare treat for you all. Our orchestra performance tonight is made up of many village ninja, civilians, and on the road travelers from all around the world. The orchestra tonight called Seventh Sabbath will be playing multiple songs however to start with be a new solo ensemble from one of the Heat Country’s gifted musicians. Please give a warm welcome for Kanai Yuen and her piece, ‘Crying in the Dark.’” The conductor went to his spot and with him there the curtain would rise as Yuen’s seat burned for her. She took the bow of the cello and would run it along the strings, produce a sound of pure despair. The intended emotion of the song as it would continue to darken the air. Her past experiences filled the music as she played. The rolling of the strokes of the bow. The way she played as the song would go forth and the cello continued to play. Her music pushing out of her fingers even as she would start to pick up the pace.
The way the song was, if one had a strong enough imagination they could imagine the pain, the sorrow of the history behind Yuen with this song. The song’s very effort as she would even pluck the strings to add in the emphasis to the battles she fought in the past. And with a utter climatic droll as the songs pace was at its peak of eighth-sixteenth notes she would push three separate notes of intense quarter note velocity before ending with a pluck, the pluck from the deepest chord as that note rang out through the crowd. Yuen’s philosophy on life and of the ninja was tragic but the music she played was full of meaning as she would feel the rest of the curtains pull higher after thirty seconds of the note hanging in the air. No doubt grandmothers or even those who were musically inclined of both sexes were crying their eyes out while the next two songs were very happy and upbeat. The best contrast to her song as she would play with just as much ferocity as before only this time with a happier melody as she even smiled for the part of it.

The crowd piled in at a rather rapid pace, filling in all the seats around Xavier's current position it was quite surprising to see so many people here, and this occurred on a daily basis. Xavier would listen to the conversations around him as he waited for the performance to begin " I hear that they've got some good musicians this time around can't wait to see how this turns out" Xavier would smile to himself (as can I). Xavier's focus would refocus on the stage as someone standing there now, he seemed to be the directer as he began to welcome everyone and all that. At the end of his introduction he announced that the starting performance would be a solo act from ms Yuen herself. As the show began and she started to play her deep music the people around him seemed to get teary eyed as if they could feel the pain from her past Xavier however would steel his emotions and listen to the music interest.
It was crazy that she could put so much emotion into music like that, for a musician like herself that must have been a great skill to have but maybe there was more behind it for her, for now however Xavier could not know unless he asked and for now that would wait, as the performances would roll on however Xavier could not stay for them, he would sigh as he would head toward the exit and out the theater if he had the chance he would apologize to the lady for leaving during the show but he doubted he would.
