The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

"Disappointing...you're further below me than I thought."
Constantly training to become stronger, coupled with his clan's abilities allowed for arrogance to seep into Kouhei's mind. He is rather condescending towards those who he has proven to be stronger than. Usually mocking them whenever he gets the chance. Positive criticism, is how he views it, a motivator to make them want to get better and challenge him again. Yet, stubbornly, he will act somewhat the same to whoever does beat him in a fight claiming his loss as a fluke or dumb luck. Showcasing his childishness in being a sore loser. He will still criticize them just a tad bit less and furthermore will continually bug them for a rematch until he wins. As for people he does not fight or has not had the chance to, surprisingly he treats with utter respect and kindness.
♠ Prideful-
"Uttering words of disrespect towards my clan is unforgivable."
Fighting. Killing. They're both in his blood. Kouhei is thankful for the skills he possesses thanks to his clan, and won't hold his tongue in voicing it. He views his clan, not as savage beasts for their history, but as a clan of great strength and ability. That being said he does everything he can to bring honor and respect to his clan's name and has zero tolerance for acts that bring shame upon the Kaguya. The person responsible may not be alive any longer once found by Kouhei as his temper flares when it comes to the topic of someone messing with his family.
♠ Competitive/Battle hungry-
"Come...show me what you're made of"
Kouhei enjoys a good fight. A trait attributed to all members of his clan in the past that only some have now. More so than a good fight, he gets excited when a strong opponent appears. This excitement stems from his chance at testing himself and his abilities in real combat. Something you couldn't get out of repeatedly striking the trunk of a tree from dawn till dusk everyday. So he often looks for other shinobi to spar with inside the village. On occasion, his excitable nature has led to him to attack individuals in the training ground simply on the perception that they look strong. Which has earned him many scoldings from his mother. Kouhei prefers those outside his clan as partners because, although he knows he will get a good spar out of his fellow Kaguya, he knows he would get better experience by fighting different types of shinobi.
♠ Straightforwardness-
"Pathetic. You're not fooling anyone here but yourself. "
One of his most prevalent traits, Kouhei is always looking ahead into the true point of whats going on. This trait has offended others because he will see through them into all their flaws/quirks causing them to consider him overly critical - even hurtfully so when he brings them up. So don't ask him if you don't want to know the unvarnished truth. There's no sugar-coating whatsoever with him, even if the truth is not pretty. However, by the same token, when Kouhei gives someone a compliment, it's not as a condescending gesture, but rather a straight-out, honest assessment that you can indeed be proud of.
♠ Subtle Kindness-
"Uhh, I-Its not like I actually care about what happens to y-"
Through and through, Kouhei is a nice kid and cares about those around him. Though, he will deny it time and time again, his actions tell the truth no matter what his mouth says. He wouldn't have any second thoughts about helping someone out of a tight bind. However, most of this type of kindness is directed towards women. Not for any major reason or anything he just feels that way. He actually gets attached rather easily to them as he calls those he is close to Nee-chan, seeing them as his sisters if he hangs around them alot. On the other hand he treats other males normally. Another kindness is that which he shows in combat. Kouhei views killing others as boring so he doesn't kill his opponents even though they tried to kill him, instead he does something more fun. He lets them live to get stronger and fight him again.
Likes:
♠ Nature
Kouhei is very fond of nature as he prefers to sleep under a tree rather than his own bed. He often goes for a walk throughout the jungle to watch and see the plant and animal life. In it he feels very calm and at ease. Making the forest his happy place whenever he gets really emotional and doesn't want to take it out on others.
♠ Sweets
Kouhei has quite the sweet tooth as in the past he has spent an entire months allowance on nothing but the sugary sweets. A move that led to a very upset stomach, a toothache, and a death inducing lecture/scolding from his mom. After which now, he can only buy sweets in moderation due to his mom having a talk with the owner of the shop.
♠ Training
He wants to perfect the dances of his clan and further them more to become better. The only way he do that is to train more and more, everyday. His training varies out amongst alot of methods because doing the same routine over and over is boring. So one day might consist of many physical exercises like push ups and running, whilst the next being about improving mental aspects by meditating.
Dislikes:
♠ Boring things
They onlh waste his time and are just unamusing in all of their characteristics. He normally has a good attention span, yet when something he considers boring enters the mix that span drops drastically. Sometimes during spars he would find his partner go be very weak and label the person boring and not worth his time, before leaving in the middle of the fight.
♠ Vegetables
They're disgusting. Plain and simple. No one likes them and if someone does like them they're obviously insane. Says the mentality of Kouhei Kaguya, he just really doesn't like vegetables. He would never even taste such a thing until his mother forced him to. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that he is ten.
Motivation:
Kouhei strives to become stronger to bring his clan to greatness, and by doing so he will gain more strength in order to protect those he cares for. This is what drives him behind the scenes, as no one would actually know this besides his mom and a few others. It is also to honor his father who died in the line of duty, to guard those he loved as well.
Fears:
The inability to progress and get stronger, thus fail in protecting others. The fear of failure. To let his clan down. To be helpless against those who aim to hurt his loved ones. That is what Kouhei fears. It is a very real fear that lingers in the back of his mind, uttering whispers in the darkness. He knows he is young but doesn't care and tries to cover up for that with his determination and will.
Kaguya
Bloodline Name: Shikotsumyaku
Bloodline Ability: Shikotsumyaku (Literally meaning "Dead Bone Pulse) is the kekkei genkei of the Kaguya clan, which gave them the ability to manipulate their own skeletal structure (their osteoblasts and osteoclasts). By infusing these, as well as their calcium, with chakra, they could manipulate the growth and properties of their bones to their liking. The ability seems to be rare amongst the clan members. This ability gives the user a unique skeletal structure, as when Jojo was fatally ill, the village experts themselves claimed there had been too little information on her body to give any medical treatment
The main capability of Shikotsumyaku is allowing the user to manipulate the speed of their bones' growth as well as the location of calcium deposits. This allows them to create weapons of bones that can either protrude from any part of the body, or pulled out and used like hand held weapons. They can even fire pieces of their bones as long-ranged projectiles. Any bone that they remove from the body immediately regenerates, as does the skin that is damaged when the bones are removed. At advanced levels, users can increase the density of the created bones, making them stronger than steel.
From what the only known users of this ability, the two younglings of days past, have shown, most of the techniques are named after flowers. Most of them are also Taijutsu-based sword dances, which are used for close combat and defense. However, as the two demonstrated, the bones can also grow quite a large volume, and likely grow from each other, as a form of a Ninjutsu, and that he can emerge from any of these bones.
As a result to the high prowess the Kaguya utilize of their dances in fighting, they are only capable of using the Taijutsu and Ninjutsu specialties if they follow the paths of learning the Kaguya techniques. If they choose a new path they are completely barred from the Kaguya dances and can learn no other means of them. Meaning one can only learn the Kaguya bone techniques and not learn any other form of fighting, including ninjutsu other than bone-jutsu. If one does learn any others they can not utilize the bone jutsu of the Kaguya at all.
Location: Village hidden in the jungle
Clan History: The Kaguya clan was an extinct clan, known to have been very barbaric. Select few possessed the kekkei genkei Shikotsumyaku; this ability was so powerful that even the war-loving Kaguya clan feared it. With a few exceptions of the Kaguya, the clan was killed off when attacking a major village in a failed attempt to show off their ferocity. The clan was very savage and had no tactics when going to battle, and refused to back down even when surrounded and completely outmatched, preferring to fight to the death for fun. The younglings left behind would for years live as the last member of the Kaguya clan, but eventually died of a terminal disease.
Years later, a cloaked man appeared in the Jungle. At first sight, he appeared as an outsider however, he remarkably knew his way around in this land. It was when he took of his cloak in the Temple that people recognized him, not his name, not who he was, but his ancestors. The two red dots on his forehead were sign of the Kaguya clan. The first reaction to his presence was fear. What would the offspring of the extinct Kaguya clan do? For all they knew was that the clan was extinct. Yet the man meant no harm to them and stated that he wished the rebuild the Kaguya again in safe and new environment. Not just for himself he said as he pointed at the other cloaked figure who took of her hat, but also for his wife and newborn son.
The jungle negotiated and accepted them and even granted them the Temple as a building for their clan only, which was soon later renamed to the Kaguya Temple. Some say that the Kage was being generous while others say that there is a hidden agenda in which the Kaguya have some role that they are not even aware of yet. Only time can tell us what happened. Is there anything in store for them? Who knows. It has been a while and that Kage has already passed away; yet another has gone since that, as well. Will the latest Kage know of this?
History:
Spoiler:
Birth
On November ninth in kusamuragakure, it was raining lightly in the village. Everything was going it's usual course; villagers going to work doing what jobs best suited for their skills, running errands, spending time with friends, living their lives.
In the Kusamuragakure hospital, a man was waiting outside a room exclusive for patients giving birth. The man looked stressed as he paced back and forth in front of the room's door. The loud yelling coming from its interior had gone on for a few hours now. Then suddenly stopped. The man would stop in his tracks and dash to the door as it opened revealing a nurse of normal height. She would motion for him to come in as the delivery was a success. The man would enter the room to find his wife holding a tiny infant.
And there it was, a couple was blessed with their very first child on this day, a baby boy. The newborn boy had taken after both his parents features equally. He had his mother's golden hued white hair and brown eyes, while having his father's Kaguya traits. The two red dots above his brows and the unique skeletal structure normally attributed to one born of Kaguya blood. The boy had also been with the clan's kekkei genkai Shikotsumyaku or Dead bone pulse. The two parents had named their newborn son KouheiKouhei, meaning peaceful or tranquil. This would be the beginning of Kouhei's life.
Childhood
Now four, Kouhei and his parents were at the prime of their happiness. Spending as much time with eachother as possible. His father being a jounin of the village meant he couldn't always spend time with him. As he had to go on missions for the village. This left Kouhei and his mother, which was fine because she often took him out on strolls through the jungle and have picnics. Kouhei would usually try to sneak off and adventure a little but his mother was always a step ahead of him, catching him at the last minute. It was their fun game of hide and seek.
In the academy, Kouhei didn't try to make any friends yet some simply came to be. Maybe it was because of his kindness. He was the child not in the back of the class neither at its front. His effort in his studies was never seen as there was none, yet he maintained above average grades. Kouhei only applied himself when the class went outside to practice certain aspects, like physical exercise and sparring.
At the age of six, Kouhei had begun to practice outside of school with his father, who was more than happy to help. On the days his father was free of missions, the both of them would spar from dawn till dusk. His father would give Kouhei pointers on what he could do to improve his way of fighting. One day his father was assigned an S-rank mission, where he was to escort a daimyo's child safely. During the mission a member of his father's squad defected from the village and led the squad into an ambush. His father was able to kill the traitor, and get the girl to escape with the squad medic as he held off most of the enemy. He had suffered many fatal injuries as he fought valiantly, but ultimately he fell before the enemies sheer number.
When word reached Kouhei and his mother, she was shaken greatly as her heart was crushed. Dropping down to the floor in tears. Kouhei was enraged and sorrowful to the point of running away into the jungle. He had spent three days there in a melancholic state. During that time he simply pondered why his father was taken away from him and why couldn't it had been someone else. His thoughts would trail on for what seemed like forever as he came to accept his father's death. Finally leaving the jungle, he became somewhat different. Returning home to his mother who at the sight of him rushed to hug him with the intent of never letting go. He would continue to act as he usually did before but that was only to hide the change within him from his mother.
In school, he portrayed the same image but applied himself more in studying as well as increasing the amount of training done outside of school. Soon he graduated at the top of his class at the age of 10, and put on the rank of genin.

After finally getting some food into his stomach Riku had started walking throughout the village for a little sightseeing, and to think about what he was going to do next. Samuigakure was ok but he prefered the abundance of green vegetation that Ibara held. He didn't really mind the cold temperature, it was just a matter of endurance nothing more. While he strolled about he watched the citizens as they went about their daily lives. Two elderly men locked in a match of wits as one was deeply contemplating his next move in their game of Shogi. While a young couple had passed with their arms entwined, obviously they both held deep feelings for each other by the look of pure happiness in their eyes. Continuing his walk Riku would notice a group of children playing hide-and-go-seek, one child caught his eye, a little girl, she reminded him of his younger sister, Sayuri. He began to wonder how she and their parents were doing back home. Ah, it won't be long now before she enters the academy...I don't think I want her to. I'm just a genin and I've already had alot of close calls. Riku would find a bench to sit on as he thought, as the children played. My role as her older brother is to protect her so...keeping her from choosing a dangerous life is the best decision. I think. But in the end it will be her choice not mine, and I'll support her no matter what life she chooses.
Gazing off into the sky as it began to be the time around the sun would set, his mind wandered to what excuse he was gonna tell his father. In all seriousness, there was no excuse. He gave up. Thats all there was to it. If he was a spectator he would clearly see that he didn't really put in the effort, on account of his hunger of course. The question now was. What am I going to do now? What was he going to do now? What, train harder and come up with an awesome jutsu? No, for now he didn't feel like training for awhile, and he had already created his signature technique so that's also a no. He really wanted to travel more, or begin learning how to lead his clan as he is the future heir of the Mishura.
Getting up from the bench he was sitting on, his eyes would fall on the moon in the night sky. He hadn't even noticed how dark it had gotten until now. The children long gone, the elderly men's game set away for tomorrow, the couple most likely into their nightly "activities" expressing their love or lust for the other. Riku's eyes would stay glued on the white orb. THUMP...THUMP...THUMP... He began to feel something inside, a feeling that was familiar yet unknown. THUMP...THUMP THUMP...THUMP THUMP He would clench his chest as if it pained him greatly, but his eyes never left the moon's embrace. THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP
