His craftsmanship was a bit shaky but he had finally accomplished his first feat of engineering relative to the Ohba clan. Being truly the first generation of his kin in a newly established tradition his right of passage in completing the construction of his first puppet was finished. Albeit the puppet was much shorter in contrast to the few models he was able to research as refrence, it was the best he could manage. A life size mannequin level puppet would require skills with which he had not accquired yet so for now his hummanoid stump would have to do the trick.
Arriving at Mrs. Yomoichi's he noted prior that this first initial mission would be perfect for him. It was unfortunate that the elder homemaker had physical ailments that kept her from her gardening but it was none the less a good stepping stone to begin his shinobi career. Gazing his dull yellow irises upward he took into account the modest single story wooden home before laying his eyes upon the patch of gardening that manned the front area of the property.
"Hello there, you must be the boy they sent to help me with my weeds. My name is Mrs Yomoichi." The short and portly elder woman exclaimed as she hobbled towards him, reaching out to shake his hands with obviously swollen fingers and wrists.
"Yes, well. I'm actually a shinobi, but I am here to help." He responded as he reluctantly shook Mrs. Yomoichi's hand with the ignorance in thinking that perhaps her condition might be contagious.
"Of course you are deary. I will get out of your way and let you get to work. I shall check on you in a bit." She responded in a patronizing tone as she continued to speak to him as an average boy and not as the shinobi he specified to be.
Furrowing his brow lightly he allowed the trespass to go by the wayside as he modestly panned his attention back towards the garden. His mission parchment stated that he was to dispose of the weeds without harming the surrounding fruits, flowers, and vegetables. Such would be a rather involved procedure if to be done by hand so he would summon up some assistance. Reaching into his cloack he retrieved a red and green trim scroll with which upon unsealing brought forth a small and odd looking puppet. Appearing to be nothing more than a personified tree stump with human-like orfaces and appendages.
"Clawing Burrow no Jutsu." He uttered as he commanded the puppet with blue chakra strings that readily attached from his fingers unto its available hinges and in a quick scrappy like motion the puppet began to burrow gracefully into the vacant dirt before submerging itself underground. Shortly thereafter Mrs. Yomoichi returned from indoors with a tray consisting of lemonade and triangular cut sandwhiches.
"Would you care for a snack?" She inquired humbly as she drew closer with a look of curiosity on her face as she eyed the dirt being kicked up from the ground due to Tajuugokan's burrowing.
"That wont be neccessary. I am simply here to work." He replied as he kept his eyes focused on the garden patch ahead as the plan was to pull the weeds by their buried roots and yank them inward from underground. This way, the surface soil would simply fill in on itself and no other surrounding plants or flowers would be distrubed. Shrugging her shoulders Mrs. Yomoichi casually withdrew and slowly returned inside.
From his vantage point the weeds themselves appeared to be sucking themselves back into the ground as he guided his puppet with good precision, carefully avoiding the delicate plants around them. Before long he had cleared the entirety of the garden in hardly no time at all. The patch looking freshly groomed as if perhaps done professionally. Withdrawing Tajuugokan from the earthen depths he had it fill in its entrance hole before being sealed back within its respective scroll. His work here was done.
