The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Setting:
Are in a large 300 yd clearing in the middle of a dense forest.
Walking through the forest was a 14-year old boy with snow white hair wearing an all black shirt and pants to match that contradicted quite perfectly with the whiteness of his hair. The air smelled of the natural perfumes let off by the abundance of life in the forest that when combined with the light breeze and strong sunlight beaming from the heavens above created for a serene back ground. The boy, slowing his pace somewhat reached the edge of a clearing in the middle of the forest.
A river stretched off in the northern area of the clearing, running smoothly with a calm and relaxing tone as the water quickly tumbled off the edges of the rocky surfaces. Syn walked to the middle of the forest and sat down, relaxing himself and meditating. He listened to the whirling of the breeze the heat of daylight on his face and running of the river just ahead. During this meditation though, his ears perked a little as he could hear the faint sounds of footsteps drawing nearer and nearer. Curiosity as to who it was got the best of him as he stood up and faced the direction of whatever was soon to appear from the depths of the forest beyond.

Just then, a young man descended from the trees, his face obscured by a coiled length of cloth about his head and chin so that only his piercing blue eyes showed. "Shoot." Hastily, the man tucked away what appeared to be a clearly valuable necklace. "Looks like this trail wasn't as abandoned as I thought it was."
With a flourish, the young man produced a kunai knife, which he proceeded to spin around his index finger dextrously. "Nothing personal, friend; I need to get past you in a hurry. But I can't have you tracking down the people after me. At least, not after you've spent a bit of time taking a snooze, if you follow."

Upon seeing the man Syn wondered if he was in a hurry, however the next statement confirmed his suspicions just as quickly as they had come to mind. As it seemed, the young man was threatening and Syn simply smiled as he did usually when people tried to intimidate him. He then fully turned his body in order to show a katana with an all white hilt on his right hip. He then proceeded to jump a few feet and tensed his body for what was bound to come.
"Let's just see who will be taking a snooze when we're done.. if you follow", said Syn and just as the words escaped his lips grinned big and slowly stroked the elegant hilt of his blade.
Somewhere under his wrappings, Kenchiro smirked. "Glad to see you're quick on the draw. Let's see if you can maintain those reflexes."
With a snap, the ninja caught his spinning knife and clamped down, the blade opposite his thumb. What he took next was not a stance, in the traditional sense, more a limbering up for a good run, a shaking out of the kinks in the muscles. But, with those kinks thoroughly worked out, he was off to a running start. He opened up with a charging punch with the left hand, followed by a slash with the kunai in his right. They lacked any sort of finality, any effort to really connect. Rather, Kenchiro wanted to gauge the opponent a bit first, before seeing how much of his effort he'd have to use to outfox him.

Syn readied himself as the man ran at him and when the punch and slash came Syn moved his head to the right narrowly avoiding the punch on purpose so that the momentum would bring his opponent forward a bit while pushing it away with his left hand so that the right hand slash came at him imbalanced, therefor making it easy for him to lean out of the way again and immensely shorten the distance between the two. Syn had him right where he wanted him saying calmly,"I'm afraid you need a lot more practice if you want to beat me".
Syn then quickly unsheathed his sword and slashed forward in an arc-like motion. Due to the very short distance between the two and the momentum carrying his opponent forward the attack would be near impossible to dodge and if successful the strike would succeed in slashing his opponent's abdomen open, revealing his processes inside.

Remain calm... what's the best way to deal with a katana?
Kenchiro responded to the event by getting close. Real close. Close enough to cut off his opponent's swing before it hit any momentum and stop it with the flat of his katana. It was a close shave; he could feel the blade on the back of his leg either way. That being said, Kenchiro couldn't help chuckling at his opponent's comment.
"It's a bit early for that, friend." With a lustful chuckle, Kenchiro hopped up, prepared to put one foot on the enemy's leg and...

Syn smirked and as his opponent hopped up in order to place his foot on him, evaded to the left, swinging his blade toward the suspended foot quickly and powerfully in order to sever it. He would then hop back a few feet in order to create distance between the two so that he could formulate a new strategy.. Or trap. Whichever option interested him most at the time. Syn was quickly yet accurately sizing up his opponent.
It seems he has more tricks up sleeve, let's see how this goes, Syn thought. Making sure to not lose himself in thought Syn yelled,"Come on, make this fun for me at least!" Hoping to provoke the man into letting loose a little. Syn was anticipating things to heat up and if his opponent wouldn't start it, he would.

Still no need to panic.
Kenchiro could barely bring his knife down in time, and he still got a glancing cut on his leg for his trouble. He performed a backwards hopping retreat, galvanized by pain and indignation.
"What makes you think I'm in the business of entertaining you?" He shouted, his hands forming seals with the sort of deliberate slowness that just says "I am clearly advertising that I have something planned." "It's that kind of devil may care attitude that gets people killed around here. If you're not careful, you might just learn that the hard way when you blunder on into my trap."
Kenchiro began to pull out a series of unusual hand-seals, clearly not part of the original twelve, and muttering in a strange, mystical language. All the while, the eyes underneath that mass of swaddling burned with a clear and present desire to do something, whatever that thing may be, once he was done preparing for attack.

Syn smiled at his opponents and responded in kind,"I don't plan on dying just yet, don't worry", and with those words he shoved the hilt of blade into his mouth and ran full speed at the man in front of him, performing handseals with a nice plan in mind. Syn had a knack for coming up with things quickly when one of his plans failed, that's what made fighting so fun for him. He enjoyed coming up with new strategies and combos and with the attitude he possessed and his inclination for an audience it's no wonder that he enjoyed being a bit showy.
As Syn bolted towards the young man in front of him his brain formulated several scenarios and actions to be taken and once he had his mind made up, he quickened his pace a little, all the while sizing up the man in front of me while making sure to keep the fight in his yard.
