The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Subject: Teacher For A Day; part 3 Fri Jul 26, 2013 3:40 am
Isais woke up from another rough night of training and working hard. It was another early morning and he would receive note of his next student of the day. The government of hyougagakure pays great money for most genin's to train with Isais . It's gotten even more important now that Isais is a new prospect for the position of kage after the current kage has been deemed unable to fulfill his responsibilities. Isais would ready up and put on his gear. He would walk to the ware house and just see for people already beaten up and laying there at the door. It seems that Xavier finally got the message and took care of the problem for him this time meanwhile Isais would notice that they are waking up so he would knock them out once more. Then call village officials to have them take care of the guys before it was time for joben to walk in. Isais would stretch and await his arrival at the I.A.N combat warehouse.

Joben popped up from under his blankets with a loud yawn, stretching his arms as wide as they could go. He was up way too late the night before and it wasn't first time he stayed up past curfew. He started to think that maybe his late nights were starting to catch up with him, but another yawn shook the thoughts from his head as he jumped out of the bed and started getting ready for his super awesome training that he was suppose to be going to.
It didn't take long for Joben to get ready for the day and was about to head for the door when his hand instinctively reached towards the rack that Wrath and Kindness were resting on. Hesitation caught him however and he decided against taking the blades seeing as how this was suppose to be some training and he didn't need the temptation of using Wrath eating at him all day.
His journey was a short one as he actually only lived a few blocks away from the I.A.N. combat warehouse. As he stood in front of the large structure he felt naked. It was the first time he planned any physical activity without bringing his weapons. Joben took it as a good sign, considering most with the temptation of power often use it even when they shouldn't. With thoughts of his own approval he stepped into the door and pushed it open revealing a man that Joben could only assume to be Isais. With a quick smile and a wave muttered.

Isais would hear the door being pushed open. He would turn around to see Joben walking through the door and greeting him in a very casual manner. Isais would give Joben a smile and respond, " Yo yourself, are you ready for training today? " he would then walk towards his desk abs look at a few documents, " Yeah this is definitely your first time, and so I'm going to need you to reveal some information. Like what are your specialties and elemental affinities." Isais would sit on top of his desk with his legs crossed and pull out a Kunai which he would begin to twirl around for fun. Isais would keep an eye on Joben as he introduced himself, " My name is Isais Neomae. What's your full name?" Isais would take out a note pad to write the information that he's assuming will be given to him.
After the information would or would not be given Isais would start setting up for a drill in which he finds very important for young shinobis to undergo

Joben let out a sigh of relief as Isais gave a casual response. Training is alright but training under a tight ass was never fun. Joben scratched his head a couple of times as Isais asked him a few simple questions about him and abilities. Isais introduced himself and Joben began rattling off his information.
"My name is Joben Hawk, it's a pleasure to meet you Isais. My specialties are Ninjutsu, Kenjutsu, and Genjutsu; and my elemental affinities are Katon, Raiton, and Fuuton."
Joben's had been absentmindedly tapping his fingers together, a clear sign that he was getting antsy, even though he wasn't sure what he was about to do. He was anticipating something physical and different seeing as how he had never trained with anybody like Isais before he was sure he was in for a treat. Then he started thinking that maybe he should of brought Wrath and Kindness, or at least Kindness, seeing as how they are a big part of his fighting style. He shook that thought aside for the second time, looking at the upsides, that training without him would him get him used to having to fight without them in real life situations which was bound to happen eventually. It didn't take long before Joben realized his was ranting in his own again and finally shut it down and focused on Isais, hoping he hadn't been making a stupid face.

Isais would look at Joben and cross his arms as an idea would cross his head. Instead of a physical exercise Isais wanted to challenge him mentally or at least give him the proper motivation to be a powerful shinobi. " so kid what makes you want to become a shinobi anyways." As Isais would wait for an answer he would toss him Kendal stick used for sword practice and then hold it out in front of himself signifying that he was ready. Isais would charge and keep his body within range but far enough that if Joben was to move to the sides that he could just make a slight adjustment and be at par with him and good enough distance that his strikes would sting and jumping over him would be bad strategy. Isais's first strike was a diagonal strike starting from low to high. From Isais's right to Joben's right shoulder. While attacking Isais would speak
" We'll when I was younger back in the academy I didn't want to be a shinobi at all. I always thought that being a shinobi was the most idiotic profession. Sure doing tricks and using chakra is cool, but at the cost of dying in any war that the kage decides to go through, that sound ridiculous. I'm much older now and I still don't get it. Why a shinobi?"

Joben heard the question and was pondering his answer when Isais tossed a kendo sword his way. A smile crossed his lips because it was something so very familiar to him. Isais walked up towards him a took a stance. Joben readied his kendo sword and took a stance of his own and was about to say his answer when Isais lunged forward. As he Isais was swinging his kendo sword he told Joben his answer to his own question. Joben saw the fake sword right up towards his right and his first thought was to roll to the right and under the swing but then he decided to be a little tricky.
Joben ducked down a little bit and took a big step forward angling his and holding his own Kendo sword horizontally at chest level thrust it forward at Isais chest. A scene played out in his mind of what was supposed to happen if it was real. In his mind the swords were real and his was supposed to go through Isais chest getting real close to him, allowing him to get past the length of Isais blade and taking only a forearm to the shoulder instead. With fake swords he would be forced to stay far away, realizing that too late as he felt a sharp sting where his neck and shoulder met. Then he spoke his mind during the silence.
"I guess I feel the same way. It doesn't seem right most children are raised to idolize a shinobi so most want to be shinobi. But in reality that kid is going to live a short life full of death and hardships. What we learn through our hardships is that its not what we do as shinobi or we fight, but instead it who are protecting. The few of us that fight so the many can live their lives happy and pain free."
Even Joben wasn't expecting to get that deep with his answer but it was what he truly felt. In a way it even reflected what he dreamed to achieve. His mind started racing as he waited to see if he made contact with his attack

Neither Joben or Isais would feel a sting just yet since Isais's attack was diagonal looking somewhat like "\" only the attack came from the bottom up to the right shoulder of Joben. If it would have hit it would never really get to Joben's right shoulder rather it would have hit an inch under Joben's left armpit. But knowingly or not Joben's horizontal attack would serve as the ideal block for that sort of attack. Causing both sticks to clash as Isais would smile at the impressive kenjutsu prowess of this genin, but because Isais's momentum with his stick was going bottom up opposing to Joben's momentum going start forward with a horizontal strike; Joben's stick would be forced to lift up towards the right of Joben and over his head leaving Isais still a fair distance from the tip of Joben's stick and Joben in a momentary bad position with his stick since the momentum of Isais's diagonal strike would force Joben's hands to be fully extended upwards and his footing to be off. Joben would have to completely reset his kenjutsu stance to stay on par with Isais at this moment of engagement while Isais would just have to do as little as readjust the positioning of his wrist which is what Isais would do, spinning inward and getting low for a diagonal slash aimed at Joben's mid section.
He woul do this before Joben would readjust his position for a block or strike to be possible but nonetheless this didnt mean that Joben couldn't think of something smart. Isais wouldn't really hit Joben in the stomach either he would only wipe his stick on Joben's shirt with the side that's suppose to represent the blade. Isais would continue his spinning under the bridge of Joben's lifted hands and towards the further right of Joben. Isais would continue his spin using his knees and smoothly work his way to his feet when he gets his chance which would be five feet from Joben. Isais actually wasn't much of a kenjutsu person but he excelled greatly with taijutsu which allowed him to use his body and foot work in impressive ways. Isais would then look at Joben as he would chuckle with a grin at the response that he was given ." Wow bro, that's deep. Did you know that the Great Wall of hyougagakure was made by civilians. That wall to this day is our greatest defense and actually protects the shinobi that protect us. Don't get me wrong I think shinobi are very necessary, but why you? Do you have people that you want to protect?"
Subject: Re: Teacher For A Day; part 3 Sat Jul 27, 2013 9:25 pm
(Im stupid. I misread the low to high D: I blame being drunk at the time... and call of duty)
Well if the attack had happened like he thought it might have then Joben may have done good. But considering the attack was the opposite of what he thought it was easy for Isais to deflect his strike. The force from Isais upward swing making contact with his sword forced Joben to extend slightly more and brought his arms upward and the fake blade angled upward against its will. With his eyes still on Isais he watched him do quick spin and saw another swing incoming, this one was lower and aimed towards his midsection.
The force of Isais blow still had him moving upward and with the incoming attack, the only thing he could think of with the time at hand was to use the force that was already forcing him upward. He jumped up and backwards the extra for spinning him faster than he would have normally. While in mid air he saw the fake blade fly under where he just was and then landed on his feet about a foot behind where he previously was. Luckily for him the attack didn't continue and he found Isais a few feet to the right of him. Isais had started asking him another question and even told him neat fact that he didn't know about.
"Huh, I didn't know that. No I, well I mean I have my family of course, but nobody special to me yet if thats what you were getting at."
Joben chuckled a bit and kicked tapped his foot on the ground a few times before settling himself in a stance similar to the attack he made previously. The only difference was he was holding the blade close to his body, the hand closest to the hand guard was straight vertical and loose while the other arm was tight with his elbow stick out allowing him to perform quick stabs and swipes.

Isais would hear Joben's response and then take notice of his stance. Isais would continue in a more serious but not to bye point of being angry just to the point of neutrality. " the point really isn't for me to know that you have loved ones." Isais goes back to his menising grin and now focus on Joben; facing him." I use to have loved ones too, and so did my victims; but that's not the point. On the contrary you are the one with a point to make, there is nothing mystical in what I have to say. So far you've been answering me like this is a test. You gave me many valid reasons why people become shinobi and why shinobis are, but this question is about you. Why do YOU want to be a shinobi? Is it so that everyone can live a happy and painless life?" Isais really would like to hear what Joben comes up with but he wasn't done just yet he wanted to dig deeper to see what he would find," I hate to break it to yea brotha, but by protecting someone's happiness and ensuring that they won't feel the pains of war you in turn ruin someone else's. Just to find that in the end even the people you protect will still feel pain from something else that you just can't avoid because no one is here forever." Isais would toss aside his Kendall stick and gesture Joben to come as buggers will slowly start to drip from his nose.

Joben let out a long sigh as Isais pressured him for a knew answer. His muscles tensed up even more as he got frustrated, he didn't understand what the point of this was, all the poking and prodding for an answer that was mostly private.
"I don't know what you want me to say. I didn't get to choose to be a ninja, my family is forced to be Shinobi. It's not fair! The way we are raised in my family is that the two most important things in our lives are our weapons. I don't know how I could covet an item that drives me insane as I use it, but it's just how we are. We become Shinobi so we know how to use them because not using them is shameful. So to honor my family I have to put the people around me at risk. I guess what im getting at is that I don't know. I didn't have the choice so I just don't know."
Joben's voice started out mellow and calm and then started to rise for a little bit, but calmed back down as his anger was switched out with sorrow and regret. He hadn't actually talked like that to anyone. It was relieving but also made feel a little bad. He realized just how much he hated the situation his parents put him in. His eyes dropped the ground for a second and when he raised them back up he noticed Isais' gesture so he charged. He left his stance entirely and was running body hunched forward and low, kendo blade pointed behind him the tip was inches from dragging across the floor of the warehouse. As the distance closed Joben brought the sword up as if he was going to swing at him from right to left aimed at Isais stomach. Instead of that however when he brought the sword out to swing he made quick step farther to the right and then angled himself back towards Isais and lunged forward aiming past Isais swinging the sword then. The point of attack was to get him to try predict his attack and get too anxious, thus the reason for changing the attack direction and delaying it by another second.

Isais once again would hear the response of Joben and smile. He guess Joben is very young and still had alot of experiences to be had. He would look at the positioning of Joben and analyze his attack. Isais doesn't know to much about kenjutsu that much he is willing to admit but the body telegraphs an opponents attack well enough for the attentive Isais to maneuver well. Regardless this still required Isais to dodge properly. He really loved the kenjutsu display from Joben. He could see Joben's culture just based on his prowess with the Kendo stick even at such a young age and low rank. Isais would watch the stick being dragged from the ground. ( he wouldn't lift that above his head that would be way too slow. So It should come across shouldn't it). Isais thought that Joben was going to attempt to go right through him so Isais would move closer to his left so that he would be going with the momentum of a right to left swing. He would be able to do it gracefully if everything went accordingly but things were a but different.
Assuming that this was a real life situation going hand to hand against a sword is never a good idea, the advantage goes naturally towards the person with the sword. From Isais's experience from fighting hand to hand with swords there are usually two ways to go about it. either dodge or counter attack but to counter attack it will require a person to get close. the advantage of a sword user is their range and the fatality of their attacks but their advantage is negated if they cant get their target in range. Even though the attack really wasn't very different from what was originally intended, Isais would notice the lift of the blade followed by the quick step to the right . As far as Isais could see this was the leverage in which Joben would use to his advantage stepping out more towards the right. Attacking Isais at a strange angle where the common reaction would be inappropriate but Isais would continue with his original plan to dodge the horizontal attack aimed at the stomach.
The way he would do it is basically jump at a curve towards his own right. Joben's lunge forward to improve the intensity of His swing coming from right to left would be met with the forward motion of Isais's curve from his own right to Joben's left. The point was to be at the end point of the sticks complete motion and be an inch away from Joben's body so that Isais could stop the swing by holding Joben's swinging hand(s) at the handle. Killing all motion. That was the extent in which Isais was willing to go he didnt have a counter attack but he would smile and say, " Well there was nothing that I expected you to say it was just a question. Truth being , most of us are forced to be shinobi , we'll make the best of it to become good shinobis. But those who become great actually take joy in being a shinobi. Do what you love in respect to authority. In that there is freedom and in freedom there is power. I was forced to be a ninja, but fortunately that was what I always wanted to be. Well training is over for today. Your assignment is to find your motivation to go into this line of work and then to work on follow up attacks with your sword movements. It's good to commit but what happens when your attack doesn't go as planned. Always expect your opponent to be just a little smarter and faster than you are." Isais would let go and rub the back of his head. "Maybe ill see you another time, Joben Xanadu. Take care!"
Subject: Re: Teacher For A Day; part 3 Mon Jul 29, 2013 4:05 am
It didn't take long before the fight ended and it ended just like Joben thought it would. A firm grip caught his hand in the blur of a motion that was expected to come from somebody as skilled in battle as Isais. What did catch Joben by surprise was that his training had already come to an end and the lesson to be learned wasn't something he expected seeing as its not something that can be taught but only learned with time and experience. Isais was talking but in truth Joben wasn't paying much attention to the words coming out of his mouth and wondering just long it would take for him to get that strong. His attention snapped back to the situation at hand when Isais grip loosened and he patted the back of his head. Isais said his goodbyes and took off Joben said goodbye as well before figuring he should go get his sword and practice a little more.
"Yea maybe. See ya later Isais."
After putting his kendo sword away and then took off starting his walk home. It didn't take long before he made it back to his house his parent were gone again which was no surprise to him. After doing a quick look around just to double check he made his way up to the stairs to his weapon cabinet. It only took a moment for him to strap Kindness to his side and slide Wrath onto his back. We was about to tackle some more training for the day when his stomach let a out a loud growl. Welp I guess im making a run to the store. His hand made its way to his pocket so he could check how much money he had but his hand didn't find a wallet, just an empty pocket.
"Son of a bitch I must of dropped it at the warehouse. Well I guess I gotta go back now. Ugh I hope its not locked"
Joben hopped down the stairs to save some time and head out the door heading back the training warehouse.

While Joben was gone Isais was putting stuff away when he heard movement coming from the back of his warehouse. Isais at first figured that it was probably some villagers but he then kept hearing the sound of matches. Isais would creep closer towards the back door but before he could get close enough to touch it the door would explode sending Isais and a few debri flying back and towards the ground. Smoke would cover up the room and out of the smoke would be this really tall and buff guy who would come in shirtless, revealing his muscles. Isais would look at this guy in confusion but the guy would begin to speak as if he was very familiar with Isais. " How dare you not remember me. You put me in a whole for seven years, seven years of my life, just wasted!" The man would speak an Isais would make his way back to his feet to fight Isais would get in close and the guy would swing across Isais with his right hand. Isais would bob and weave towards that man's right and Isais's left and follow up from his low stance with a powerful hook punch to the man's kidneys. The man would grunt but keep swinging like nothing happened but this time with his left hand. Isais would react by bobbing and weaving again but this time towards the man's left and Isais's right. And once again while he is low he would follow up with a hook punch towards the man's left kidneys. While the hook punch connected the man would bring back his left hand that went passed Isais and attempt to back hand Isais. Isais would duck it again and with both hand the man would grab Isais's head and knee him on the chest and then follow that up by kneeing Isais in the face, still holding on to Isais's head. The man would then keep hold of Isais's head with one hand and slap Isais with great force using his right hand and causing Isais to hit the mat hard.
Isais would slowly try and get up but the man would punt Isais's side sending him flying 3 feet away. Isais would hit the mat hard once again as he would hold his side in pain. ( Why is this guy soo strong? And who could he be anyways?) Isais would attempt to get back on his feet while the man would now go on to talking. "You don't remember . I was the man from the hidden moon sent here to assassinate a bussiness man from this country with a hidden agenda. You and the red rain killed my crew and sent me to a prison leaving the bussiness man to fulfill his goal and destroy a research sight for our village, I will make sure tha...." Isais would interrupt by throwing a Kendo stick at the guys face. Isais himself would pick up two other kendo sticks and rotate them around in his hand. The guy feeling a bit embarrassed would charge Isais in a bull like manner. Isais craftily would begin to beat the man with these sticks and the sticks as expected would do damage. Isais would beat the man until he would fall to his knees for Isais to punch an area of his neck causing him to pass out. Isais would then speak, " yeh I remember you. But as I recalled it , it was either jail or death. You got the better of the choices." Isais would then throw down his kendo stick and notice Joben entering. He would then look to his desk and remember that Joben's wallet was there. He would pull out the wallet and toss it to Joben. " Here ya go"

Joben walked a few blocks walking directly past what seemed like way too many food stands and his stomach was kind enough to growl as he walked past each one of them. Why couldn't kindness make him less hungry. You would think with a empty stomach he would move faster but not if you're Joben, his feet were dragging behind him like a sack of rocks. The sight of the I.A.N. warehouse gave him the motivation he needed to pick up his pace a little. When he finally got close to the door he swore he heard some sort of commotion but it was muffled by the thick doors so he shook it off and pushed his way through without a second thought.
He entered the warehouse only to see Isais standing over a beaten man which was kind of awkward but without missing a beat Isais walked over to his desk picked up Joben's wallet and tossed it to him. As soon as Joben caught the wallet his stomach growled again giving him another reminder that he needed food. After thanking Isais he proceeded to leave like he didn't see anything.
