Akira is a very bored acting individual with a single monotonous voice and lazy uninterested eyes who lacks empathy. Not because he's trained to, but because he actually can't sense empathy. Akira suffers from Social Autism and so finds it incredibly hard to empathize with others, and usually his words come out at the wrong time and aren't sympathetic to people in the slightest. From this Akira is also capable of acting and performing actions without emotion and makes him a very capable shinobi because of his detachment to emotion. Akira is actually described as somewhat apathetic to other people- completely by choice. A lot of the time though he can smile, cry, laugh, to the things he thinks are sad, happy and funny. This doesn't mean he can't interact though.
Akira's epistemology lies in a couple of things. One of these is the greater good- Kusamuragakure. The next is anything that can go wrong, will go wrong, the third is regardless of circumstance, your path is your own and lastly- your are the master of your own destiny. Such motto's can be found from Akira.
To Akira, everything is led by logic and logic alone. Though because of Akira being a human being, his logic is very flawed and biased- sometimes this will only make sense to him. While he is mistaken as being unconfident this is very far from the truth- while not necessarily the emotion of confidence Akira has the aura of calm about him, that he has the strength he knows what he is doing- and this kind of ability to keep himself disinterested goes into the very depths of his minds- in the heat of battle his face or thoughts will not falter.
A problem with Akira's temperament is his lack of friendships with others. He can interact, just is not very good at making friends. Things are purely in a business like relationship. He can act with respect and talk with respect but it doesn't rise much above that. On the other hand to an enemy he can be as belittling as possible- if not annoying due to his monotonous voice.
Akira is a loyal shinobi to Kusamuragakure no Sato and is loyal to it's people- those who are not loyal with Kusamuragakure or it's people are threats; and to Akira, threats need to be eliminated. While not patriotic, Akira is very much a person who talks and believes in 'the greater good' and justifies a lot of his actions as 'for the greater good' and it can be argued that Akira is a utilitarianism- to see what is the most useful at a given time. Weigh out the goods, and the bads and if the good outweighs the bad it may be kept.
On the flip side, he can be a very sadistic mind. Because he can be detached from all emotion, such things are disemboweling a person are not above him. He does not enjoy their deaths or their pain, and does not enjoy anything about it. Akira will do things to prove a message, through his flawed and biased logic.

Motivation: Akira's motivation is to eventually become the Kage of Kusamuragakure and lead it into a golden era and slowly but surely take more territory- to make Kusamuragakure known in history for a very long time. Akira doesn't have any other real motivation other than the norm- become the strongest shinobi the world has ever seen and demolish all those in his path.
Fears: Death- like any other normal person Akira fears death as a wholly experience; something that Akira definitely wants to keep away. On physical tangible fears, Akira doesn't really have any where he used to be claustrophobic but doesn't have a problem now.
History: Akira is the Jinchuriki of the Ichibi- the one tailed beast. The supposed Bijuu was taking it's own time to get away from Civilization and took it's way over into the jungles- unaware that ninja were nearby. During it's slumber it was defeated and took within the space of five minutes; a very deathly five minutes. Akira's story begins with work- to begin with, Akira a son of a wealthy yet old industrialist who's work lied in both legal and illegal trades. The legal side of it was hotels, shops, markets- that kind of thing; only to hide the illegal sides. Taverns, casinos, fight clubs- that kind of thing. A man that felt it was in his best interests to settle down. Akira's father was old to begin with and he picked up a young woman along the way and began to settle down with her. Nine months later from that point popped out Shokyaku Akira. The girl was barely twenty while the man was bordering over his fifties- old indeed. Many men would give his wife the 'eyes' and was often mistook for the woman's father... So when people came up to his wife and began flirting, that wasn't took all so well.
The Bijuu needed to be sealed quickly otherwise it would easily overpower and destroy Kusamuragakure no sato- so they quickly entered the hospital and took one of the first children they saw, and that child was Shokyaku Akira- to become the container of the Ichibi. Out of pure act of desperation- it was sealed. The name was going to be withheld- so the general population would be completely unaware of the identity and henceforth distaste.
Akira wasn't usually there to see the aftermath. As a child Akira was very well, very fit and very rarely became ill. Growing up as a child was actually pretty boring, with his mother always working in the household and hardly ever getting to see his own father things at life were at Akira's own hands- Akira was forced to entertain himself a lot which sucked a lot. Akira because of this took on a dreamy like personality which later on in life became very troublesome as it had developed into a habit. Even as a child Akira found it hard to make friends because some of the statements that he came out with- very blunt statements that were like "You stink...go take a bath" and for a long time he had no friends whatsoever. When Akira's father was around he always witnessed the same thing- Akira entertaining himself. So when his father was around Akira tended not to take notice in the belief that he wouldn't be staying there for very long.
His mother did actually stay around and play with Akira; but found that he wasn't entirely responsive and so this led to his mother inquiring the father about how sometimes Akira would stare at her mother with blank eyes, particularly when his mother asked something akin to emotion to when his mother one evening asked- "what are you feeling right now?" and Akira responded "Nothing." this only seemed to help match up her suspicions- being that Akira always seemed to be so neutral faced. He was later took to the hospital and diagnosed with Autism- or Social Autism to be exact. At least this provided a reason for Akira to have no friends and this put a little ease onto his parent's minds. His father did take the time off though, but he was still very old. Akira remembered sitting in his office on his lap, watching his father work- and his father said the most life changing thing.
"You'll be ok."
And so he was. Akira while not capable of feeling emotions to the extent that a "normal" human was he took this to heart. His father then introduced a family friend's children to him and they actually got on pretty well together. Akira grew up with this group... but not his father.
His father passed away about a year after the introduction, and with that leaving the business onto his partner who would pass it onto Akira when he was of age and mature enough to handle the task. There was no murder, there was no rape- just a peaceful passing which was considered a blessing by many in this day and age. Akira's father was well known in his town and Akira could remember walking through town holding onto his mothers hand, random men would come up to the two of them- and give their condolences. But somehow, they always knew Akira. Did Akira really mean that much to his father?
His new friends were also very good to Akira, and they weren't the probing type even though they did sometimes say some weird things. Akira was a simple kid who kept himself happy- and when his friends were around he would have fun with them too... although the term fun would be bland because of his Autism- best described by Akira as a fuzzy warm feeling in his stomach.
When the eye was proposed that Akira joined the shinobi academy- something his friends had said as they were joining up; the idea was flat out denied by his own mother. After a bit of whining from his friends that they passed onto their parents, a talk ensued- and the leeway was given for Akira to join the shinobi academy. The academy years were absolutely great fun for Akira- even the lessons that were about history Akira could tolerate but of course his personality was developing. His dreamy "with the faeries" temperament was being ironed out of him- his instructor saw definitive potential because of Akira's lack of emotions and saw him after one class saying how it could definitely help him in the future. Because he was the sensei, Akira definitely took this lesson and allowed any kind of emotion to disappear over the course of the second year. His friends had made other friends and only spoke to Akira occasionally... so Akira was alone again. But of course, Akira wasn't sad- how could he be?
Passing out of the academy held new opportunities as Akira became a Genin. There was a talk, an exam- and laughably Akira was asked what he was good at- and Akira responded with making ninjutsu. His teacher questioned him a bit more but didn't go much further. At the moment his sensei didn't quite know what to do with him so decided that he would just train equally till he found something he had a knack for.
At this point the Ichibi decided to make itsself known to Akira- and Akira was baffled to how such a thing existed inside him and it was all explained. That was one large thing that Akira decided- he struck up a friendship with the Chameleon for it's wise and conservative nature. Akira was fifteen when he picked up Fūinjutsu- all the while training in controlling the Bijuu's chakra properly. Knowing that Akira wasn't much of a full on combat kind of person he turned him to someone who could teach him a bit about the sealing arts.
Akira became a Chūnin with his team with the Chūnin exams; not by accomplishment or some special agenda...just simple maneuvering. Akira had definitely developed his jutsu at the age of sixteen- now creating more impressive things with his paper, beginning to use multiple sheets of paper at once. When Akira passed as a Chūnin he could remember sitting with his mother, cuddling up against her- Akira felt nothing but the very same fuzzy feeling that he got oh so many years ago. He also found at this time that he had two affinities instead of one at the same time- something incredibly rare. So Akira only trained his elemental abilities on the side- not really all that bothered but more interested about how it could tie in with his current skill set.
As a Chūnin Akira was doing a lot of missions- mainly taking control of Genin squads to help build up his leadership. It was around this time that he met another man who he later began to call Sensei. Akira was offered a unique mission- due to the lack of people who learned Fūinjutsu, and since Akira was learning it quite harshly, he was offered a mission to go to a ruined village to find sealing material being how legendary these people were known for. Akira took the job without any hesitation.
The mission kind of went off without a hitch, to begin with and so on this long term mission out in the ruins, Akira was able to find many things and so while training in his paper jutsu, he was training Fūinjutsu a lot more in this time frame of his life. Not only was this man a master of Fuinjutsu- this was the shinobi that had sealed the Ichibi into Akira- Akira was being helped by the man to control his Bijuu even more- Akira was developing his abilities and friendship with the Bijuu so much more than he could have hoped from being outside of his home village. This man he was with, his sensei was a powerful sealing master- and had been spending the year two years of his life trying to unseal a particular scroll. This scroll was said to contain the mechanical laws of sealing- such a rare object that would literally bolster Akira's ability by the hundreds- and possibly his own Bijuu.
The scroll was a trap, and the six months that he spent out there- training and learning from this man while in the anticipation of unlocking the scroll, when it dispersed into flames and his sensei along with it... Akira felt- silence. Pure silence, his sensei had literally... turned to ashes. But this did not stop Akira- silently he began searching through the ruins. Since Akira did not have any emotion to it he heeded every warning- and spent a further week in the ruined village. Using the same method but from far away using his seals- working day and night Akira was bringing home a wealth of information himself.
When he brought back the scrolls and his sensei's remains, Akira was placed on hiatus because of the 'mental' stress that he could've been under. The scrolls had been confiscated, but that was okay- because he had copies of the scrolls stuck onto him. Paper, stuck onto him. Akira about three weeks later was promoted to Jōnin for his findings- the accomplishment of wealth. His father would've been proud.
Many years later he finally mastered the control of his Bijuu- even though just the one tails the abilities it had in it's arsenal were no laughing matter- something that Akira had become accustomed to were learning ninjutsu and using the power of his Bijuu- because, why not? Along the way he had et some people know; from this point from the missions Akira had been taking an alias had been given to him-

RP Sample: "Why do people have to be so stupid?"Akira was recently given an apartment to live on his own- which was a breath of fresh air- This wonderful morning with rays of sunshine that licked his skin with warmth had spent it arguing- he was buying groceries for his new apartment. Akira was also graced with a beautiful sum of Ryō to decorate his home and it had been well spent. The beast in his mind was docile today for definite- probably wasn't in the mood for speaking.
Akira was in the market minding his own business when he spotted a nice stall of vegetables, and he couldn't resist going down on a bargain- a very fiendish stall owner had kept Akira there for the best part of an hour, going backwards and forwards with prices- Akira had bought a lot from the man and demanded a discount... and he didn't seem to budge. Akira had shrugged though and tossed the memory from his mind and continued trudging along the street- all of his shopping tucket away into seals.
Seals are goddamn impressive, I'll give you that... Akira began whistling with his hands in his pockets as he was walking down the street, weaving in and out of the crowd. When he suddenly stopped when something caught his eye- a book. A book... in a banner. A bookshop? Akira turned his body and began walking towards it. If there was one thing that would always interest Akira- it was knowledge.
"Scientia Potentia Est-" Akira said as he walked into the shop and after seeing someone giving him a look he frowned.
"It's an ancient language of a sort, it means knowledge is power." Akira walked in- it was a beautiful ornate shop filled to the brim with the musky smell of books- the smell of pages, the sound of bindings opening- all of these things that attracted Akira to them.
Akira only spent a small amount of time there- ignoring the protests from his own mind as he left with one book.
"Scientia Potentia Est..." he spoke softly. For a second time, someone appeared to be confused- and Akira almost hit his own face with the book he purchased. Akira also searched in the brink of his mind for what to do- it seemed that he would probably spend his day off with reading. Many a book still remained unread in his library at home.
