Bloodline Name: Shoton

Bloodline Ability: People born the with ability to use Shoton can create and manipulate chakra created crystal formations. Said users can create almost anything with said crystal using chakra to manipulate its shape, density, and even color.  The crystals are actually weak against Doton jutsu even though it plays a part in its creation. The crystal hardness and durability depend on the user. (these really only pertain to jutsu that create weapons as defensive jutsu can't be stronger than their respective ranks. An example would be if a Crystal armor is still a D rank for all users but if a Jounin used the shuriken in Hexagonal shuriken wouldn't be destroyed by anything less than a B ranked Doton jutsu.)

Genin: Crystals can be destroyed by any D rank doton jutsu or other jutsu of higher rank

Chuunin: Crystals can be destroyed by C rank doton jutsu or other B rank jutsu

Sp. Jounin: Crystals can be destroyed by B rank doton jutsu or A rank jutsu

Jounin: Crystals can be destroyed by any A rank doton jutsu or other S rank jutsu

Seinin/Kage: Crystals can be destroyed by only by A or S rank doton jutsu

Sp. Jounin - Kage: When using jutsu that are below you current rank they receive a boost in power equaling one rank (D become C. The highest a rank can go is S)

Physical Traits: Most born into the Sho family have dark onyx black eyes.

Clan History: The Sho clan wasn't born with the ability to control crystals like some clans are born with theirs but rather they developed their skills over many decades. The clan itself is new as well and if thought about isn't even actually a clan just a family with tradition. It all started about a century ago when a skilled shinobi of the Sho family going by the name of Scourge combined his elements of Doton and Raiton together to form Shoton. By refining his doton jutsu into small sand like particles and adding his raiton element it created crystals. It took plenty of time but eventually this skill was refined together and its own chakra nature. Scourge passed these skills down to his children and then them to their children each decade developing the Shoton element until it was force to be reckoned with.
Now almost a century into the future members of the Sho family can use the shoton element to create and shape the crystal to their desire. The family is still growing however and many new jutsu continue to be developed as the years go by.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to become encased in a thin sheet of crystal to protect them from blunt force trauma. This armor can also aid the user in performing stronger physical attacks. The crystal itself is transparent and is somewhat hard to see unless light is reflecting of its surface. The armor itself is multiple pieces that are coat the appendages snugly. They are capable of protecting the user from burns and cuts but will be destroyed fairly easy. The crystal itself is also fairly thin making it easy to break with blunt force.

Description: The user focuses their chakra into their hands and crystallizes the air around them. The crystal particles form into 4 six-sided shuriken, which resemble snowflakes in appearance. The snowflakes are then shot forward with as much speed as if they were thrown by said shinobi.

Description: The user places their hand on the ground and focuses their chakra into it. Dozens of one inch thick crystal spikes rise up out of the ground under the target. These crystals can impale the target or surround the target to restrict their movement. When used 5 crystal spikes that are roughly 3 inches in diameter at the base and smooth out to a sharp tip shoot up from the ground in a pattern the user wishes. The crystals extend up till their peak is which is roughly 5 feet.

Description: The user gathers a large amount of chakra and slams his or her fists into the ground. Pushing his chakra into the ground and shaping the crystal to his will. The jutsu starts out like Kessho Hari except over a much larger area. These crystals shoot up from the ground like spikes and then they branch off. Each initial spike has three branches that branch and then that branch has three more branches. Each initial spike starts out about 5 feet from another but in a matter of minutes each spike branches until a sharp and deadly forest of crystal twists and twines together spearing anything in its path. The end result is a 'Crystal Forest' the forest itself is roughly 30 feet tall and can stretch out over a max distance of 1 kilometer but could be as small as 20 meters. The user is in most cases away from the impact zone or at the least on the edge. The first crystal stems up in front the user and and the creates a circle around its encompassed area before stemming inward. The outside ring reaching full height and intertwining to prevent escape. The crystals themselves that stem up at about 4 inches in diameter and hexagonal in shape. Each crystal stems from the ground about 5 feet away from another but the crystals branches twist together after enough time closing the gap. After time is up the crystals fracture and disperse into separate shining particles that fall to the ground. As if diamonds were falling. (in the first post the forest will get about halfway completed and will reach its peak on the second post.)
