The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

The Showering Plains, a very fitting name for such a tundra that stretched for miles and was constantly raining. The rain varied, from a light sprinkle to a downpour that was impossible o even see your hand in front of your face. Today was somewhere in between for the weather, outside the little traveler's stop that Vex was inside; the plains were getting soaked by a notable downpour. Vex sipped at a cup of warm coffee against a window at her table, only one other free chair and she seriously doubted anyone had the balls to sit with her. She didn't mind, didn't care even; her only interest was in watching the vain repetition of the raindrops fall and be absorbed into the what seemed limitless sponge of earth.
Normally, a land that was rained on this much, would be flooded- and I was true enough, some parts of the plains was indeed flooded by now... but the plains held a special adapted form of earthen erosion that allowed the ground to swallow up most insane amounts of water in specific areas. Which is why this traveler's stop was built at this spot. The Traveler's spot, or lodge as some would call it- was built on a small hill and has a spiraling set of stone steps that were kept clean for travelers to ascend and descend without falling. Vex was sitting by the window that overlooked the steps and watched the rain bounce off the unforgiving stone and trickle down into the soft dirt and grass on either side.
She sipped from the round mug of steaming coffee as she stared out the window, her long silver hair wet from the rain and her clothes lightly damp. She had travelled as quickly as possible over the plains to the lodg to avoid getting soaked and sick from the weather, but she had still managed to get wet. Her two swords leaned heavily against her table and threatened to trip anyone who walked by, no one tried to protest though. It was not every day that a shinobi with such large and unusual swords passed through here; upsetting them was a sure way to get chopped in half- in tiny pieces in Vex's case.
She was an extreme Misandrist, lesbian to the core and abhorred the idea of men even looking at her. She had beaten several men and left their bruised bloody bodies in her own village, not caring if they lived or died.. just because they offered to take her on a date. She was tolerant of some of their looks, as long as they were quick random glances and unintentional or uncomfortably long. She was a violent girl, born in a murderous environment, a cold killer and hater of men. She didn't need a reason to kill someone, especially a man. She was new to Boufuugakure because of her history, only a couple years as on official Boufuugakure shinobi. Before that, she accompanied her father on raids against small villages and murdering them for no real reason other than the bloodlust for battle.
She had killed her father though, taken his swords and gotten to know and understand her spirits, Wrath & Chastity quite well. Wrath was a constant companion- a red spirit orb with a face that constantly taunted her and tempted her to do bad but fun things. Chastity was a lesser constant companion, a timid quiet and almost always hiding spirit- a low soft voice and rarely showed itself. Only in times when it was needed to ease Vex's sanity from using the Xanadu weapon Wrath for too long. Ha! Look at those people over there, they look like foreigners; totally unprepared for the Plain's weather. What fools!
Vex grimaced as Wrath talked trash about a group of people who were totally soaked and freezing from the rain and wind; this lodge was prepared for such happenings and quickly got them into dry clothes and by a warm fire. Lucky for them and everyone else, only a handful of people could actually hear or see the Xanadu spirit Wrath. People who had seen death or another Xanadu like herself could interact with the spirits... but both were very far between. Could you be quiet for once... EVER? she asked the spirit, who only responded with more irritating laughter.
She would swat at the spirit, but would do no good... she couldn't touch the spirit, nothing could. It was bad enough that several people glanced at her nervously, for apparently talking to herself- but she did that often, talking to the invisible spirits anyways. The Xanadu clan sure was a curse, having to deal with annoying spirits like Wrath. The silver haired and silver eyed shinobi wondered, what the other Xanadu were like... they were a scattered clan and never seemed to come together; Vex had never met another Xanadu but her parents. It was getting a little late in the day, probably around 5:00 PM when Delilah had finally finished her training. She had been doing the standard stuff, push-ups and situps, laps around a fair portion of the village, and practicing with her sword, patience. She needed to get very well acquainted with using it, since it was such an odd weapon. Not many shinobi fought using a bladed sheathe, rather than the blade inside, but that was her style. That was more out of necessity than choice, though, as her other weapon (sloth) was always either too lazy to lend a hand or... To dangerous to use. Delilah was compassionate, after all, and would never risk using a well-rested Sloth against someone she didn't absolutely want dead. She'd seen the kind of damage it could cause during training in the hidden jungle.
With a stretch and a yawn, Delilah began walking the streets of the village, rubbing one of her eyes sleepily and resting her other hand on her set of paired weapons, relaxing and trying to think of what to do as a wind-down. She definitely wanted something to eat, and drink, but she wasn't sure where she wanted to go. She stopped, for a moment, at a small shop to buy a bottle of water, drinking it greedily half the way and dumping the rest on her head, loving the cold feeling rushing across her skin as it wasn't exactly warm out. That's when the idea came to her, and she even perked up happily, giggling and smiling brightly as she pounded one closed fist against her other open palm. "I know!~ I'll go there!" She announced, getting a few weird looks as she started heading out towards the showering plains. She hoped it was raining a lot today; that was another thing she'd grown to like since living here in the hidden storm.
"Whattaya think, Petri?~" She asked. As always, the little sky-blue ball refused to answer her, but she imagined that it agreed with her idea. She was going to go hang out at that lodge place, maybe treat herself to something good and watch the rain. Smiling and humming as she walked, Delilah boldly stepped and skipped her way to the plains, which didn't take all that long at all. It was raining pretty heavily today, but nowhere near as bad as this place could get, more like half as bad as it could get. It was a little less than Delilah had hoped for, but it was still enough to thoroughly drench her as she walked.
Delilah looked forward to the warm fire and the dry clothes that the lodge always seemed to provide for people who got a little too soaked, closing her eyes as she walked, easily able to sense everything around her by her other senses alone (considering one was basically just a sixth sense of her surroundings). She contemplated, as she strolled through the storming rains, what kinds of people she might run into at the lodge this time. She'd always managed to make a friend or two hanging out there, since everyone was usually quite friendly (though, there were some very interesting people there that preferred to be more distant and mysterious). She hoped she'd meet a girl there this time, as she was still looking actively for a romantic involvement. That was hoping for too much, though, especially since she wouldn't have even been able to expect it to go that well even if she did meet an interesting enough girl...
She shook her head quickly to clear her head as she realized that she'd already arrived at the lodge. "Jeez... I must've been thinking longer than I thought... Woops!~" She said, laughing it off, pretending not to remember that he mind had wandered onto the topic of Hisame, the woman she'd met once in the jungle and never seen again since. She regretted that fact deeply, but she'd have to move on, so she needed to shut out remorseful thoughts about her. She opened the door to the lodge, waltzing on in with her eyes closed and everything, even dodging in between a few people that were leaving and hadn't noticed her, causing a slight surprise due to her still having her eyes closed tight. Hardly anyone noticed though, and the moment passed quickly.
Delilah had already forgotten that she was soaked to the bone, able to keep calm even despite the biting cold that should be making her shiver at the moment, so she simply walked up to the counter, eyes still closed, smiled, and ordered some hot tea, paying for it ahead of time for some reason before turning around and finally opening her eyes, glancing around to see where she should have a seat. The place wasn't nearly as busy as it usually was, only a few people still hanging around the place. Then again, there would likely be more coming in later to buy a room at this lodge, so she would have more people to chat with then. She wasn't always social enough to look forward to that sort of thing, but she liked talking to people here.
As she scanned the room, she noticed a fairly pretty girl staring out a window, with an open chair across from her. What really caught Deli's attention, though, was something that caused her to double-take, staring in confusion at the floating orbs next to the woman. Slowly, she looked at Petri, then over at those strange orbs again. "Wait... Petri... You don't think..." She muttered to herself, before her face suddenly lit up with excitement. She couldn't keep her cool, sadly, so poor Deli wound up embarrassing herself by letting out an adorable little 'squee', quickly dashing over to the woman with the huge swords. She sat down boldly across from her, without a single word, simply resting her chin on her hands as she leaned forward against the table, staring at Vex like some sort of wide-eyed fangirl. She remained like this for only a brief moment before giggling nervously and speaking up, "H-hey! I mean.. Hi there... Uhm... I-I'm Delilah, nice to er... I mean.. It's nice to meet you.. S-so uh, y-you're like me, aren't you?!" She questioned Vex, with barely contained excitement heavily lacing her tone.

Vex had been sitting at the table for quite a long time, several hours at least; she had counted at least four people who had tripped over her weapons in the walkway. All of which had turned back and glared at her and was surely about to say something, but the look on her face and the killing intent she emitted, was enough to turn them away and raise the hairs on their neck. Vex had a special way of convincing people, with intimidation of course. For such a beautiful young woman, she had a terrifying side. It wasn't because she was inconsiderate of others, she just didn't care. It took a special kind of person to get her attention, male or female- but preferably female.
Even so, she was getting tired of having to look up every so often to ruin her concentration- so she grabbed the hilts of her weapons and pulled them higher and closer to the table so others could walk by more freely. Her weapons were still within easy reach and in the side of her sight, so she turned back to the window and went back to her deep thoughts. So in thought was she, that she didn't even notice Delilah skip up the stone steps, nor did she recognize the floating spirit that accompanied the girl. A waitress passed by momentarily and Vex ordered another large cup of super sweet hot coffee and a serving of chocolate pudding.
Five or six empty cups of coffee and two empty bowls of chocolate pudding were already scattered across the table. The waitress grabbed all the empty cups and bowls and shook her head as she left the table... unsure how such a young woman could eat so much and not become fat. Then again.. the older waitress turned around and checked out Vex's body; filling out in all the right places. It made the woman a bit jealous that such a girl like this could eat so much chocolate and stay sexy where it counted. Not only did it make her a bit jealous, but a bit hot too, thinking about the young woman who seemed to be a very dominant type and such a fine body.
The waitress let her eyes glance below the table, where Vex's hips were, very curvy but petite. She possessed a shinobi's body, especially in the physical sense- probably a trained warrior, but still possessed such finesse and beauty. Vex had chosen an interesting attire today. She wasn't wearing pants at all; just a sort of silver and black dress which was short at the hips and black boots that reached just above her shins. She wore a red ribbon in her long silver hair and kept her delicate hands in the front pockets of the jacket. In her current position, seated at the table, her legs were crossed and tapping to some unknown beat. Yet as her foot danced under the table to some idea in her head, occasionally the waitress caught a flash of black panties.
Vex noticed the woman staring though, she had stared too long, Vex always knew when someone was watching with more than a passing interest. She wasn't too bothered by the woman's suddenly lustful desires, but Vex was an impatient girl and really wanted her chocolate. She tapped her fingers on the top of the table, her eyes threatening to punish the waitress like a well-deserving slave if she didn't hurry up. The waitress gulped in excitement and fear, then hurried off to fulfill Vex's order.
Vex went back to looking out the window, expecting the rest of the day to go by without too much excitement; except maybe for a certain waitress who was secretly had her own orders she wanted to fulfill. She had started to entertain the thought, of waiting here till after closing time and then bending the waitress over her table. It was a fun idea, to make the waitress lick her chocolate pudding bowl clean while bent over the table and Vex standing behind her, probably spanking her; maybe pleasing her.. The idea didn't go too far, a sudden "squee" interrupted her perverted thoughts; her and everyone else' attention was drawn towards a young blonde female who was zoning in on Vex and sat down in the "forbidden" chair directly across from Vex.
Vex was so surprised by the action, that she leaned back in her seat, wide eyed with surprise and a light blush on her cheeks. This young woman, was eyeing her like an adorable fangirl- she was quite beautiful, possessed a petite and cheerful personality and a nice little body. Vex had studied her body briefly, only like a lesbian could and was impressed enough to want to speak to the girl. Still, before she could speak; Delilah interrupted her thoughts with an unusual question. Like...You?.. Her question trailed off as she noticed the blue spirit floating near Delilah.
Vex's heart skipped a couple of beats as she looked from the orb, back to the blonde girl... who had introduced herself as Delilah. Before introducing herself, or speaking- she immediately looked for Delilah's weapons- just to make sure. She possessed two equally interesting weapons... so she had to be a Xanadu. I am Vex Xanadu... Are you... a Xanadu as well? A trail of excitement etched her voice as she asked, somewhat hopefully. Word count- 901

Delilah couldn't help but blush as well, noticing Vex's attention to her 'features' triggered a more perverted side of Delilah that she had to force to subside before it became all she was concerned with. She bit her lip, slightly to the side, her cheeks stained a soft pink in color as she turned her head to the side. Still, she did like the attention, so she gave her chest a little push outwards, pushing her arms together a bit in order to lift her breasts and bring them to Vex's attention.
Delilah, herself, was wearing a pair of black hakama, the kind that left her soft, round hips revealed just enough so that if she moved the wrong way, or too quickly, you' have a very clear view of her crotch. She usually wore these, or similar pants/skirt while training, or even while on a mission, because they allowed her to wear patience on her hip and remain in contact with it even while it was at rest. At the same time, she also loved to be a bit more revealing and slutty than her appearance might usually suggest her to be. She wasn't even wearing panties at the moment; a fact that was clear by the absence of a hem visible on her hips. On top of that, she was wearing a karate gi-style top (that white long-sleeve shirt that folds over itself and ties at the sides?) that was left just open enough to reveal some of her glistening, wet cleavage.
Of course, her entire form was soaked with water, so all of her clothes were stuck against her flesh, showing off each surprisingly perfect little curve in great detail, her blond hair flat against her adorable little face as she pretended not to be showing off for Vex, still biting her lip and even giving off a feint giggle before finally coming to her senses as she was asked if she was a Xanadu as well. At that point, she sat up straight, puling her chest back in and coughing nervously, rubbing the back of her head and sticking her tongue out with a cute, dumb little face, eyes closed again.
"Eheh... Uhm.. Er, well... I don't really know. M-my name is Delilah Button, but I know we both have two unique looking weapons, and you have a pair of friends too! I wonder why I only have the one..." She asked to herself, her voice trailing off a bit as she looked out the window, before quickly snapping her attention back to Vex. "Right, so! I don't really know much about that Xanadu stuff but... From what I can tell, we're the same!~ I have my friend Petri, and... Who are your friends?" She asked, clearly a bit nervous after having noticed Vex giving her some not unwanted attention.

Vex allowed herself to look longer than was appropriate, already knowing full well that this Delilah Button was flaunting her charms and trying to impress Vex. Her eyes glanced down to the perky breasts as Delilah pushed them up with her arms folded under her chest. Vex returned the gesture, leaning forward and placing her arms under her bosom and pushing them up, showing Delilah that Vex was superior in the size of the bosom. She smirked as her face became close to Delilah's and saw the pink blush on the girl's face; Vex didn't bat an eye as the girl looked away to the side a little at her gaze.
Vex's eyes went down the girl's body, she could see much from her leaning position- the girl's haori was revealing more than a bit of skin as the girl continued to sit in the awkward position at the table. Vex giggled softly at the view, You'll catch a cold, wearing such little clothing and all soaked like that. We should get you out of your clothes and warm you up a bit. She bit her lip, knowing how perverse it sounded, but she wanted to tease this girl who pretended to be innocent but dressed in such a subtle slutty way.
Before Delilah would get a chance to respond, the waitress from before would reappear with Vex's bowl of chocolate pudding and the fresh coffee. She ordered an additional serving for Delilah; some chocolate and hot coffee would warm the girl's body and soul. The waitress nodded and quickly left to fetch Vex's order for the cute blonde girl; Delilah was soaked and her clothes were revealing against her petite but luscious form. The waitress soon returned with a large warm blanket and the food and drink Vex had ordered for the girl. She bowed politely and then glanced at Vex, Vex merely sent her away with a blink of her eyes- giving the waitress the cold shoulder, which she seemed to like very much. Off the waitress went, pretending to be indignant when she really did like being treated like a toy.
Use that cover and wrap yourself up, take off those soaking wet clothes and allow the workers here to wash and dry them for you. It's not like anyone is going to bother you around me, so being naked inside the cover should be just fine... unless you're too much of a girly girl. Vex already knew the answer, or rather, how Delilah would answer- she just wanted the pleasure of taunting the pretty blonde. She showed equal amounts of interest and dominance to the girl, while at the same time, being casual and nonchalant about the whole ordeal to frustrate the girl. Vex enjoyed confusing women and seeing how they would react to not getting what they usually wanted by using their body.
While her clothing wasn't soaked, she had gotten a bit wet in her dash to beat the heavier rain. The rain didn't smell too pleasant to her nose, it was as if the clouds were releasing a bad batch of dirty water on the plains and Vex wished not to be dirty.. at least, not that kind of dirty. She grabbed a spare warm blanket as another waitress walked by; she flung it over her shoulders and down her back and wrapped it around form to protect her from wandering eyes. She continued to converse with Delilah while looking her in the eyes without blinking much as she began to unbutton her jacket and undress. You are indeed a Xanadu, though I don't know why you possess a different surname. Your spirit is proof you are from the Xanadu clan, and of course your weapons. I'm more curious in your weapons rather than this... Petri.
Haha! Dissing your spirit, blondie! Don't feel too bad, Vex has to put up with me ever since she could remember as a child. The woman is scarred from dealing with spirits and absolutely hates me; so don't expect her to be too interested in your shiny blue fuzzball. The crimson spirit orb cackled after explaining; he was unusually social now, always jumping at the opportunity to converse when someone other than Vex could see him. Vex didn't respond, Wrath had done a superb job at explaining her annoyance and hatred of him and her tolerance for other spirits. She just let him speak, to show Delilah how annoying the crimson orb really was. She just watched Delilah, never taking her eyes off of her as she unsnapped her bra under the cover and set it in the seat beside her, along with the jacket.
She leaned back in the seat and grabbed her panties at her hips and lifted her legs slightly, the cover falling just a bit to allow Delilah a little show. She set her black lacey panties on the seat beside her and then waved to the waitress who came over quickly to retrieve the garments. Will this be all, for you two lovely ladies? Vex shifted the cover and hugged it to her luscious form and nodded, sending the waitress away to wash her and possibly Delilah's laundry as they sat naked, barely covered and continued to converse. So I guess you know less than me, about our own clan. Great. I might as well tell you what I know. Vex talked quickly and low, explaining what little she knew about how the clan was scattered and bits and pieces of their clan history. She didn't go into much detail about the different weapons, she didn't know much of them except her own two weapons and didn't want to give away their secrets to a pretty face she barely knew.
She sipped her coffee as she listened to Delilah and ate a spoonful of her chocolate pudding, leaving a small smudge of chocolate on her lower lips. Word count- 985

"C-catch a... Cold...?" Delilah asked, as if questioning why Vex had said this, before suddenly realizing how cold she actually was. She'd been focusing too much on everything else, to the point where she didn't even realize the frosty chill passing through her body until just now. With a shiver, she simply nodded, quickly wrapping her arms around herself and laughing joyfully at herself, her eyes closing as she stuck her tongue out -- a bit of a tick of hers whenever she felt particularly silly. "Of course! Sorry, I hadn't really even noticed... S-Silly me!~" She announced, this time her stutters coming from the shivering that she was doing.
Of course, she couldn't help but blush much more heavily, now, as she noticed the more sultry implications of Vex's statement. The words echoed once or twice in her head as Delilah focused on them for a moment, biting her lip and seeming to start fantasizing, an adorable look of longing passing over her face that implied she was either really into Vex -- moreso than she should be at this point -- or she had gone a very long time without 'getting some'. "B-by the way, I don't usually dress like this... I just like how open it feels while I'm training, th-that's all... Really!~" She defended after remembering that Vex had mentioned how 'little' she was wearing.
Delilah had said all of this in the time it took for the waitress to leave and return with the blanket, coffee and pudding. Delilah bowed her head politely to the woman, giggling softly and thanking her briefly before quickly draping the blanket around her soaked form. She hardly even noticed the teasing side of Vex's statements, but that's because Delilah actually enjoyed following orders like that. Especially when she wouldn't actually get in trouble for it. So, she simply giggled again and nodded quickly, smile still sweet as ever as she began undressing beneath the covers without bothering to open her eyes.
Interestingly enough, though, Delilah never unstrapped her belt -- the one holding patience against her. Also interestingly, she'd seemed to have forgotten to close the blanket up all the way, causing her supple breasts to be easily visible to Vex as she removed the karate outfit top. "Well, I don't doubt that I'm one of these... Xanadu things. It's just I've never heard of them. My dad was a Button, and so was my mom... Also, Petri's actually really nice. Though he doesn't really talk... I just like to pretend he does, since he's like, my only friend."
Delilah perked up as she suddenly heard the little red orb speaking. That definitely wasn't something she'd expected to come from the little guy. She didn't pay attention to it's angry words, she was too interested in how it had actually spoken, while Petri tended to remain silent. She'd begun to assume that Petri was mute, or something. "Woah!~ He talked! That's so cool... How'd he do that?~ Petri never says anything!~" Delilah seemed very excited, that was for sure. She had opened her eyes to examine the ball and everything.
That was when she noticed something else, turning her attention back to Vex and letting he eyes widen a bit as she stared down between Vex's legs. Delilah's cheeks turned deeper and deeper shades of red as she stared openly at the little show she was being given, her lips parting just a bit as her jaw went a bit slack. Once she actually saw what was underneath the frilly black affair, Delilah couldn't help but bite down on her lip once more, whimpering softly and rubbing her legs together firmly. "A-ah... I... Y-your... Um..." She said, pointing down between Vex's legs shyly as she continued to stare. She was soon snapped out of this state as the waitress from earlier piped up again, causing her to blink and shake her head, closing her eyes and sticking her tongue out cutely once more. She even accompanied the adorably dumb look with a slight bonk on her own head with the second knuckles of her right hand's fingers.
Delilah quickly removed her own pants at this point, along with her black thigh-length socks (that I forgot to mention earlier), handing all of her little outfit over to the waitress in a bit of a hurry (and in the process revealing her own, bald nether-regions to Vex due to the lack of closing her blanket). This caused her own blanket to fall from her shoulders, giving everyone a clear view of her large, round, perky breasts. She let out a soft, cute squeal at that point, quickly recovering by puling the blanket up over her entire body, closing it up tight and huffing softly in her embarrassment as she lowered her head shyly, looking up at Vex from the tops of her eyes.
Delilah listened closely to everything Vex had to say at this point, her blush slowly fading as she became interested more and more in hearing about her clan's history. It was all so interesting, and it managed to clear her mind at least temporarily of the lustful thoughts and feelings that had been plaguing it so far, along with the embarrassment of her most recent little mishap. Once Vex finished speaking, she simply sat up straight once more, looking directly at Vex now for a moment or two before giggling softly -- clearly a very giggly one, this girl -- again and tilting her head to the side smoothly. Quickly, but not so sudden it might provoke a violent response from a trained ninja, Delilah reached forward and flicked her index finger against Vex's lip.
Pulling the finger towards her lips, Delilah spoke softly and smoothly, "So, you said you were interested in my weapons, yeah?~" She asked, her voice coming out like the auditory equivalent of honey's taste and texture now. She'd been speaking this way the whole time, it was just covered up by the energy levels that she was expressing before. Now, though, she was trying to play all sweet and seductive (though it was clearly an act, since she couldn't have faked the way she was acting before). "Well, would you like me to tell you more about them?~ I will of course, for a price..." She said, giggling (though this time it was more like a mischievous, but still somehow cute, snicker) again and suddenly snaking soft, smooth, pink tongue out of her mouth to lick up the pudding on her finger sensually.

This Delilah, quite the forgetful girl apparently- seemingly to forget important things and situations when an overwhelming thought entered her mind. It just so happened that Vex and the clan were the overwhelming thoughts on Delilah's mind right now. Vex could take a pretty good guess which of those two opposing ideas were on the higher end of the girl's interest. Her choice of revealing clothing, given on her gifted body- made her defensive answer seem hardly adequate. If you say so Delilah. But I peg you for an innocent acting girl who likes the attention of someone dominant; you tend to tease and entice them by wearing what seems casually revealing clothes. She wanted to right out ask Delilah if her guess was right or not, but she didn't want to offend the absent-minded cheerful girl.
Vex listened to Delilah talk about her parents, casually watching the girl's form; of course the silly girl had not made sure to cover herself fully. Woohoo! This girl's got a rack on her Vex, not as big as yours... but still pretty impressive. Oh & it looks like that guy three tables down is smiling pretty big! Hahaha!
Vex was too intrigued with the mention of the man peeking at Delilah, she didn't even notice Delilah stuttering and looking below the waist. One clean look at the man, told him that unless he looked at the floor and never looked up, he was dead meat. Vex finished undressing and covered herself properly with the cover as she turned around to Delilah again. Hm? Where you saying something?
Vex was a quiet and controlled young woman, but Delilah's action of accidently dropping her cover and revealing her torso to the whole tavern was enough to elicit a good laugh from Vex. She laughed a long moment and nearly lost the grip on her cover, almost revealing herself as well- but she was more controlled. Delilah, you are a funny girl. I haven't met someone who could make me laugh in a long time... Her thoughts trailed off to the past about her father; when her mother was still alive, her father had been able to keep his grip on sanity. When she died though, Vex's father lost all of his comedy and humor- and turned into a murderous machine.
She had inherited his weapons when she killed him, and now she carried his burden. Vex couldn't help but wonder if Delilah's weapons came at such a heavy cost as well. he was really intrigued to learn about the other Xanadu weapons. This girl was interested in her weapons, Vex could see that- but maybe not as interested as Vex was in hers. She was willing to tell her about them, for a price... Sure why not. Name your price and let's hear about these curious weapons of yours. Maybe I'll tell you about mine too. It was a funny "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" type of thing, although both girls had already seen plenty of each other already. Vex sipped her coffee again as she listened intently. Delilah shook her head quickly as Vex asked her if she'd said anything, laughing and waving her hand slightly, "Heheh, n-no... It was nothing! Don't worry about it, really." Delilah said, in response to Vex's words just before the waitress returned and everything else proceeded.
Delilah couldn't help but smile widely and relax a bit as she was told that she was funny, taking it as a compliment and nodding happily in response. "Th-thank you, Vex!~ That's kind of you..." She said, giggling warmly and leaning forward a bit to smile warmly at Vex. She couldn't stop herself from thinking about all the wonderful things this woman could do to her... But she shook her head and let out a soft sigh, deciding that she'd have to start controlling herself, or she'd just end up hurt again. She'd become attached to this woman, and then she would either fall out of contact or worse, find out that whatever interest Vex may have for her was only temporary, or even some sort of joke.
She closed her eyes to think for a moment or two, before speaking up, with a much less energetic, almost sad tone to her voice, "Well, I'm sure you've already guessed what I'd really like, but I really shouldn't ask for something like that... I'm just a silly girl... A-anyway, I suppose I'll just ask for you to explain your weapons to me in exchange... If that's acceptable, that is.." Something was clearly bothering Delilah all the sudden, and it was very unclear what that might be, but she simply continued to speak without much of a pause.
"You see, my weapons are paired. They are brothers. On is sloth, and the other is patience.... Patience increases my focus, which is a huge asset in battle, but sometimes I focus too much on one thing or another, even though I could be focusing on many things at once.. That's my fault, personally..." She said, sounding disappointed in herself, surprisingly glum, seemingly out of nowhere. "It also gives me great insight into others feelings, I can predict things with incredible accuracy, and it even gives me a sixth sense of some sort, that lets me sense everything's position and orientation perfectly within a certain distance of me. It even goes so far as to let me see glimpses of the very near future... It's really cool, but it requires I remain in contact with it for it to work at all. Thankfully it works all the time, which is part of the reason for my attire, you see..."
Delilah seemed to be enjoying herself in talking about her weapons, which was good considering how suddenly sad she'd seemed just a moment ago. "It's a bladed sheathe that I use as a weapon, and it's specifically built for my sword 'sloth'. Sloth is really cool looking, y'know? But he's super slow and lazy... He won't even cut anything if he doesn't get enough rest in between slashes. But his effects when I let him rest for a long time are... Rather astonishing. I cleared a rather large section of the jungle once, on accident.... He does something different based on how much energy he has, and.." She stopped for a moment to hold up patience and sloth as a set, showing Vex the sleepy-looking eye on the hilt of sloth. "This eye here opens slowly as it gathers energy. If it's full on energy, it opens super wide and gets all bloodshot.. Kinda creepy, y'know?" She finished explaining her blades in as much detail as she could manage, before simply returning her swords to their spot on her belt, relaxing in her blanket and sighing again.
"That's all I got for now... Your turn." Delilah said, her cheeks still stained slightly red from before as she sipped her coffee and took a bite of her pudding.

Vex smirked at the girl's sudden boldness. Vex wasn't interested in anything, she wanted to focus on her shinobi skills so she could kill someone specific. I'm flattered I guess, and you are definitely attractive; but I'm not looking for anything superficial or meaningful. If you want though, we can be like best friends and enjoy each other's company without complicating things. Two lesbian women promising to just be friends; sounded impossible, especially when both were perverts to different degrees. But it was possible, Vex just didn't want that kind of thing and wanted her focus to be on her skills; this Delilah had interesting clan weapons that would make a good teammate for the violent Vex.
Never before, had Vex had a partner-in-crime, a teammate. Never before had she considered allowing someone to tag along or trust them enough with her life to rely on them in a battle. But she felt a special connection to this other girl, possibly because they were both Xanadu and shared a common burden. Do you have any teammates? I think... maybe... you and I could be comrades, If you want.. Vex asked a bit shy, it was a first for her- reaching out to someone other than the reason for pain or pleasure. Even so, Vex didn't plan to be part of Boufuugakure too much longer. Her goal for coming out here, was to decide what to do... but what would Delilah think about looking to join a different village?
She listened intently and watched the blonde girl's expression and paid attention to her voice as she talked and explained her weapons. They were surely interesting and useful, though she wouldn't know exactly what Dlilah was talking about until she saw the weapons in action. Soon, the two of them would have to spar to get a feel of each other's strengths and weaknesses. The issue was, either of them could die if they were too serious. Your clan weapons sound interesting. Equally useful and cumbersome at the same time. My weapons are very much the same way; you and I will have to spar soon.
It was a statement more than a request: it was important for both of them emotionally, physically and as a shinobi to understand their clan & weapons. If Vex was certain that she wanted Delilah to be her constant ally and companion, she had to be able to trust her. If she was going to trust her, she had to clash weapons with her. Vex reached out from her blanket, revealing a healthy amount of cleavage as she reached to the side of the table and grabbed the hilt of Wrath and pulled the blade up onto the table. She set it down on the table with a heavy thud Wrath was an ash-black rectangular blade with no "point" or tip, the all four edges of the blade were sharp and square. A long four-hand handle was attached to the thick blade, the handle was wrapped in bandages tightly and sported a loop at the end of the handle for attaching to the other weapon Chastity's chain.
This is Wrath. A cursed blade; it grants far greater physical abilities at he price of my sanity... literally. When I use this blade, I can no longer think straight or identify friend from foe. Regaining my sanity is extremely difficult, not likely to happen except in the most extreme situations. It has a fair chakra cost as well, but nowhere near as pricey as Chastity. With Wrath active, as a Genin- I nearly killed a Jounin with one swing of my swords.
She sighed and rubbed her head softly, just thinking about the mental strain rath put on her, was enough to give her a headache now. All the while she was talking, her cover was lowered to her mid shoulders and revealed a decent amount of cleavage. So in-tuned with her weapons and explanation, that she hardly cared. She grabbed the hilt of Wrath and lifted it with ease, showing Delilah that Vex was much stronger than she appeared. She sat Wrath back on the floor with another thud, the square edge of Wrath slowly sinking intot he wood of the floor from its sheer sharpness.
She took her hand and lifted the larger weapon up and onto the table. A large battle fan, shaped in the appearance of a gourde. It was white in color and thin but extremely durable: the edges of this fan were also bladed, so it served as a sword as well- a most peculiar weapon indeed. The handle was equally as long as Wrath's handle and also wrapped in baddages as well; at the end of the handle, was a black chair that hung loose and was designed to clip to the handle of Wrath. This awkward and shy weapon, is Chastity. This fan has a special ability and an equally powerful chakra cost. If I used a D Rank jutsu like a fireball, the jutsu would turn into a B Rank massive fireball. It increases the power of all my jutsu for the price of heavy chakra. Normally, when using this weapon... I use it quickly to make a decisive end to a battle.
She took Chastity and set it leaning against the table again and offered to let Delilah hold them if she wanted; of course, if the girl picked them up, she would likely struggle to lift them like Vex had. She leaned forward and studied Delilah intently beneath her cover; she rested her chin on her hands and breathed calmly as she thought about how Delilah and her could compliment each other. I'll be straight and blunt with you. I want you to be my comrade, my partner. We're both lesbian and beautifully gifted in our womanly charms: you're interested in me, and I am interested in you as a friend and your abilities in combat. I am very dominant and perverted, you are probably really submissive and perverted. How about this- we can be best friends and I can keep the despicable males away from you, god knows they probably hit on you all the time... anyways. I've never had a girlfriend before and would enjoy your company; we can go to the bath house together, do makeup, massages, spar, talk about our problems and stuff like that. Just no sex, I'm not interested in making anything complicated or commitment. I was just thinking that you and I compliment each other well; so how about it? Would you be my submissive best friend? I don't mind you drooling over me or anything, just don't expect much out of it physically but maybe a friendly massage from time to time.
Vex loved massages, they helped her relax. But she hadn't had a massage since her mother died- nearly ten years ago. It would be nice to have a female friend that she could hang out with and do girly perverted things without any complicated commitments or anything like that. While that was nice, Vex was more excited about the prospect of battle. She loved fighting, and having Delilah as a teammate would probably the best thing she could think of. She pulled the cover up a little, now being aware of how much skin she was showing to the public. She continued to look at Delilah, seeing how easily she could make the girl squirm with a dominant gaze. If the girl responded with a positive answer, Vex would drop the heavy conversation on her- from what Vex knew, the Xanadu typically ended up cursed in life and had very few physical ties to keep them anywhere, which was why they were wanderers. Vex would try to convince Delilah to leave Boufuugakure behind and find a new home together, a new village to serve and make a living. It was time for the Xanadu to reunite and become a force to be reckoned with. Word count- 1,327

Delilah wasn't surprised at all, really. It was what she'd been expecting to hear, after all, but still... She couldn't help but feel a little disappointed about 'just being friends'. Of course, she couldn't complain too much; at least she'd have a friend now, so she did her best to seem like she'd brightened up, smiling warmly again and letting out a bit of a fake little laugh, nodding quickly as she spoke, "Yeah, sure! That sounds... Great!~ I could always use more friends, after all I've only got Petri so far.." She trailed off a bit near the end of her speech, but she'd gotten her point across; she was okay with this. At least, for now.
Then, Delilah heard something that she hadn't expected. Firstly, Vex being even slightly shy about something was unexpected, but secondly someone asking Delilah, of all people, to team up with them? She couldn't help but let out a little chuckle, as if thinking Vex had been joking, piping up with a sarcastic "Yeah, sure...". It didn't take long for her to realize that Vex had been serious, at which point she blushed heavily and covered her mouth with a gasp. She quickly spoke, shaking her head, "No no no, I didn't mean... I mean yes, I'd love to join you. I'm just not used to anyone taking me seriously, or wanting to be my friend, let alone a teammate..." She said, looking rather ashamed of herself for almost rudely blowing off a request such as this.
Delilah didn't look particularly thrilled about the idea of sparring, but she was thankful for the compliment she'd been paid. "That's kind of you to say, that they're interesting... Honestly, they've been excellent companions so far. Never have they let me down, and I can't say that about even myself, so I suppose these weapons are the best friends I've ever had. Even better than Petri, now that I think of it!" She said in a rather joking tone, as if teasing the little blue ball she'd been calling 'friend'. "As for a sparring match, I don't really know... I mean, of course it's a good idea I just... I don't know if it's such a good idea this early on. I'm not a big fighter, after all, and I can tell just by looking at you that you'd beat my butt easy unless I went all out. In which case, it would only be fair for you to do so in kind, and we'd be facing rather fatal repercussions, likely at my own expense."
Though she sounded like she meant those words, there was something about them that sounded half-hearted; like she really did like the idea of sparring, and it was more for some other, unknown reason that she was trying to avoid it. Whatever the case, it was clear that she wouldn't mind sparring if Vex pushed the matter, she was simply waving it off for the time being.
Delilah noted the little flash, intentional or otherwise, that she got from Vex as the woman brought her weapon up to the table, though she didn't dwell on it this time. She didn't want to fall into lust for this woman any more than she already had, so she forced herself to examine the weapon placed in front of her more curiously, looking along the blade and handle, admiring the craftsmanship and every little aspect of it's design. She knew it would be difficult for her to wield such a weapon, which led her to admire Vex's raw strength, which led to impure thoughts about tat strength holding her down while... She shook her head quickly and laughed at herself, rubbing the bridge of her nose softly and taking another bite of her pudding as she listened to Vex's explanation of the weapon, wrath.
Delilah bit her lip, drawing a breathe in sharply as she heard about Wrath's raw power, as well as it's drawback. It was definitely not a weapon to be used lightly, and not just because of the loss of sanity; Delilah was a firm believer in not using more force than necessary, which was the main reason she was always so apprehensive to use the sword, Sloth. It wouldn't be proper to use such a fatal weapon in just any situation; only the truly dire ones, so she'd limited herself to only using it when she felt she had no other option. She felt that Vex likely had a similar rule about Wrath; it was the wise thing for the more dangerous weapons, after all. "Well, that sure sounds useful... I bet you don't use it much though, do you?" She asked, simply out of curiosity, in an attempt to confirm her theory.
Delilah had to continue to force herself to remain more interested in the weapons than Vex's body, but it was growing difficult as the other woman's blanket sunk lower. She had to resort to using Patience's ability to increase her focus on the weapons she was being informed of when she even caught herself staring, chewing on her lip and desperately hoping for the nipples to be revealed. It was just in time, too, as Delilah was growing close to the point where she might have tried to force herself on Vex, which both would have failed and been very embarrassing. Delilah turned her attention to Chastity; a fitting distraction from lust, metaphorically speaking, if there ever was one. She was much more interested in this particular weapon, and the possible team-attacks that could be executed between Delilah and Vex flooded quickly into her mind.
"Okay, that's wicked cool... I really like that one, Vex. Imagine what we could pull off together? Maybe.. What if we even found the other Xanadu? That would be something, huh?" Delilah said, letting her thoughts drift to the idea of assembling the Xanadu into one force, something to be reckoned with. She would of course want to do this for the sake of preserving the clan, and restoring it, even as a force to maintain peace. But that was because she was just that kind of idealist.
Once Delilah noticed Vex leaning in and studying her, she had to pull away nervously, turning her head to the side and blushing heavily. She knew that Vex wasn't likely thinking what she was hoping that she was thinking, but that didn't stop Delilah's mind from wandering again. That is, until her thoughts were silenced once more by Vex's words. She was still disappointed, but the sort of relationship that Vex was offering as definitely preferable to nothing at all, as far as Delilah was concerned. So she took a deep breathe, swallowing her disappointment and nodding, accepting that this was probably the best she could have asked for. She couldn't hold it against Vex, that she didn't want the same thing that she did, and she did like the other woman.
"Y-yeah... I mean, yes... I'll be your little sub friend. I'll probably drool all over you and desperately want you to push me to the ground and do... Things... To me, and I'll probably use every excuse I can to try to make some sort of physical contact with you. But if you can handle my pervy ways, I can also try to dial it back a bit, for you... That sound alright to you?~ Oh, and if you like massages, I'd be glad to give you one any time you give the order." Delilah said, seeming to have cheered up quite a bit now that she'd accepted this sort of relationship. She'd also made sure to toss in a coy little wink as she intentionally used the words 'give the order' instead of 'ask'. The intention of the statement was clear; even though this was only technically pertaining to the topic of massages, Delilah was solidly defining herself right now as the 'submissive' in this relationship, even if sex wouldn't really be involved, and they would just be friends. She wanted Vex to know that she liked to be ordered around, rather than asked to do things; at least when it came to less important matters, like massages and making food and all that.
Feeling Vex's dominant eyes on her now, Delilah suddenly dropped her coy routine, simply lowering her head and giggling, her blush holding fast on her cheeks as she turned her head to the side again, biting her lip and looking at Vex out of the corner of her eyes as she writhed underneath Vex's gaze like an adorable little sub girly. "J-jeez, why're ya looking at me like that, anyway?~ C-cut it out, you're making me uncomfortable!~" She demanded half-heartedly, obviously enjoying the look she was being given regardless of what she might say. She wondered, silently, what this relationship was going to end up being like. Needless to say, she was silently hoping it would take a turn for the 'hot and steamy', but she knew that was a bit of a far-fetched fantasy. Still, she knew that she'd be haunted with dreams and fantasies for quite some time, as long as sh remained friends with Vex. She realized, now, that she didn't mind though. In fact, if Vex would accept her perverted nature, this could end up being very beneficial for her, and she knew it.

Vex was genuinely happy that she had found a friend and ally in Delilah, truth be told- Vex didn't have a single friend up till this point; except maybe the Jounin she had tried to kill on two separate occasions... though she didn't think that counted as "friends" Struggling with friends and allies seemed to be a common burden that the Xanadu shared; Vex couldn't help but wonder if all of the Xanadu were this way. It seemed to be a common thing, at least for the females- possibly their clan was cursed to forever be wanderers.
that idea didn't sit too well with Vex, especially when considering her newfound friend and how that implicated things... the future could be very dark for them if they weren't prepared. That thought only reaffirmed her conviction to spar with Delilah and become stronger together, both in skill and teamwork. With weapons like ours and our skills, we will make a great team. But I am a hard taskmaster, I will run you hard with training and teamwork. Vex said it in a serious but playful way, she wanted Delilah to know that she was totally serious but also intended it to be fun and rewarding. You will have to get used to controlling yourself and your weapons; our training will push us to our limits and use both of our weapons... so don't try shying away from sparring with me.
Vex winced a little at the question if she used Wrath much in battle... she used it a lot actually, it had been her crutch lately- she could still vaguely remember slicing innocent people to pieces during her fights with the masked shinobi. While the events were always in her favor, she had never gotten into any trouble over it because there was lots of chaos in the battles and her and the masked man wielded large swords. Any deaths and destruction were placed solely on him and she had been seen as a shinobi of Shippuugakure defending one of the smaller villages. Ironic really, because she had done most of the death and destruction in her berserker state. When we train and are on missions, I want you to go all out so we can get used to each other's full power and acclimate ourselves to our weaknesses. I imagine Sloth needs to be used often to keep that build up from becoming dangerous to you and your surroundings. rust me, I can take the beating if necessary. Not to mention, with your weapons, you can help me regain control of my mind if I use Wrath.
It really was a good combination and Vex was already excited to test it out... but she was patient, didn't want to be hasty and mess things up. Delilah had agreed to be her sub-friend, which was a weird but pleasant turn of events: most people would think they were weird for having such a friendship. Of course Vex would respect and adore her adorable companion, but vex really was a dominant type of girl and enjoyed the idea of having a friend like Delilah who loved to serve. Naturally, that meant Vex was the unofficial leader of their team and was responsible for looking after Delilah. I'm fine with how you are Delilah, you can be your pervy self and drool over me, but when I say enough is enough; I expect you to obey me. She purposefully used the word "obey" to give Delilah a sense of delight at the idea of serving.
As far as gathering the Xanadu, it was a dream that Vex had for a while now- she wanted to do just that.. and now having a Xanadu companion, it only intrigued her more. She would watch Delilah intently as she ate the chocolate pudding, studying the girl's embarrassed expression and almost intolerable embarrassment from being watched so intently by another woman. Finally it was time for Vex to set her other idea in motion; she paused and looked out the window, sipping her hot coffee and not looking at Delilah as she spoke. I am leaving the village of Boufuugakure soon; things here are dull and I really wat to bring the Xanadu together under one village. Delilah... will you follow me, be my friend and my servant? To leave this village and find the other Xanadu? I plan to leave tomorrow, I originally came here to think it over... but after meeting you, I have decided this is the right path for our clan. Delilah had seemed somewhat hesitant at being asked to leave her village so suddenly. Vex had thought it over for a while and had come here today to come to a conclusion to the idea; now she possessed the answer she had been looking for. She had found the answer in the most unlikely of situations, by meeting one of her scattered clan members and then realizing her desire to bring the clan together once again. Well... I can't expect her to have an immediate answer... Vex told herself in her mind, a little disappointed but also understanding. Vex wanted to take Delilah on her journeys right away and strengthen their bonds, but Delilah was still not ready to abandon this village for her dreams.
Vex stood up and sheathed her weapons on her back on the metal loop on her shoulders from the strap she carried the weapons on. She looked down at the cheerful girl, I need to use the lady's room. She lied to Delilah as she walked towards the back; she would go into the ladies room and wait a few moments, contemplating if she was doing the right thing. Finally she made up her mind with a disapproving grunt and stepped out unseen by most everyone in the building. That waitress had walked by right then, Vex grabbed her arm and pulled her close; nearly brushing their faces against each other as she stared into the blushing woman's eyes who looked away after a couple of seconds.
Vex would deposit the bill in the woman's hand, as well as a bit extra for another serving of chocolate pudding for Delilah. I am leaving, here is the bill. Bring another treat out to that girl sitting with me, but don't tell her that I have left. When she asks, tell her this "I'll be waiting for you to be ready." The waitress looked confused at the statement, but nodded silently, feeling the seriousness of the atmosphere. With that, Vex let go of the woman and turned around, leaving through the back door and out back into the raid. She would disappear quickly and suddenly, the rain carrying away any scent of her, and any footsteps being washed away by the rushing waters across the ground. Maybe by the time she finds me, I will have found more of the Xanadu to bring together. She didn't look back, she was a much stronger person than that, not regretting her decision.
