The purple haired kunoichi was given a mission. The kage had handed her a B rank mission that she was supposed to do with another, she had heard rumors of who it might be with but wasn't a hundred percent on just 'who' it was. All she knew was that had important documents that she was to protect with her own life if it ever came down to it... though she was sure that no one stupid enough to attack her would happen...at least, she hope. The contact was somewhere outside the village and she was, for no reason, to read the documents and it wouldn't be hard, it had nothing to do with her so why would she. She now waited outside of her village, rain pouring from the sky but kept an umbrella over her head to make sure she didn't get drenched as she waited for her companion.

Called upon to serve, something she absolutely hated the most in her own line of work in her own valid mentality of thinking in her nature of such. The individual though that had actually asked it of her was the kage themselves so in effort and light of that she would go out and do this mission in the earnest request of the kage. She took things seriously at least she took most things seriously enough for to get by. Yuen was always like that and she would dress herself in the rags she wore, the mummified look so to speak. The wrappings wrapped around her frame with their thick water resilient cloth of dark tan though the way it wrapped seemed almost too sensual to the appeal of others. Nonetheless it was all she had to wear as she would head out and enter her proprietors of the mission. Informants and such of that nature were not that hard to come by after all.

Over her Hyuuga eye she wore a plain medical cloth for those who just left surgery as she would move out with such an eye hidden as if it were under her headband. Informed to keep that at home she did only as part of the mission. However she kept her significant blade on her person as with running towards the meeting place to which she would find the person she would be aiding in this mission. Yuen was still a genin so she had to be accompanied by someone in this mission but the Kage asked if she was interested which means that she was not just any ordinary tag along, she was being asked by the kage to enter into a B-rank mission due to possible achievements or something. She did not know very much about it as she ran through the rain, her red hair streaking across the view of others indiscriminately as she would land six feet behind the person with an umbrella, surprised to see who it was, “Cornelia?” Was this who would happen to accompany Yuen?

Cornelia waited in the midst of the rain with no interest in those that passed her. She would glance from one side to the other in wait for the person whom would accompany her. She had asked the Kage of the hidden storm to send someone that would otherwise seem like less of a threat, if she could use that in the mission, it would only help her more. She was expecting to get a genin which, for all intents and purposes, would be perfect even if she would have to pick up the slack herself, it was something she was more than willing to endue for the sake of the mission.

She turned her attention toward the appearance of someone, someone that she had knew and someone that knew her. She even said her name so any sort of misunderstanding was thrown out the window as a smile crossed over Cornelia's lips as she would wave to the other girl with a small folder in her hand "Yuen! What a pleasant surprise. I'm actually really happy that you're here." Which was actually pretty true, Cornelia would rather have someone she knew with her, even if just enough than a face with no name. She would move closer to Yuen and look down at the documents in her possession "We need to head to an area just outside the village, a mile or so and meet the contact and give him these."

It was straight forward enough which was good but there was sure to be problems, that much was told to her but it was something she was sure she could handle and with Yuen there, she was more than sure that she would be on the top of her game, she couldn't let any harm come to her. She refused to let anything happen to her.

Yuen smiled when Cornelia was aimlessly looking around at first, just trying to spot out something in the area for perhaps an individual she was waiting on or something or other. Of course Yuen was happy she was recognized right when she spoke up too so it made her feel that much more sane in her body as she could only recall their last meeting together did not go so well in the eyes of what she could decipher as something in her own mind. She would smile and from there pop her neck and assist in what she could do with what she had as her own powers and prowess pertained in her mind. She was not the best ninja, nor did she try to be but at the same time she always tried her best no matter the case. Her eyes would remain on Cornelia and then she also noticed the voice speaking again, her speech was describing the mission it would seem.

Yuen would listen, and listen perfectly well as she would nod at the mention of handing a contact information. “So this envelope I got is for a contact outside the village perimeter. Alright but what are we to expect. I haven’t been briefed for this mission yet and would like to know as much as possible in case there is conflict,” Yuen would say flawlessly to her own record, she was known for her gathering of information before a mission to then always make it out alive and well for whatever was to come. It was something she knew how to do effectively and well perfectly. She would keep her eyes out though as she would follow after Cornelia’s leading self and with that in mind she would think on the battle in the past, about their fighting preferences and compatibilities in a fight.

Cornelia continued to walk amidst the rain, umbrella in a firm grip in her hand to protect her from the constant rain that fell in the land of the hidden storm. Sometimes, she really wished she was born somewhere else, somewhere that didn't rain ninety percent of the time but then she thought about how differently she might have turned out and was content with the results the way they were. The other villages seemed too safe or too normal or just overall too something. The rain meant that the ninja of the hidden storm had to be ready to fight in the worst of conditions, so the worst to them would mean that the 'worst' to another village couldn't compare.

Cornelia looked back to Yuen as she started to speak about just what they should expect because she wasn't briefed as she was. "The information is supposedly important so we should expect the worst and hope for the best. I put in for a genin just for that case. My original plan was to use the genin as bait if we were ever under attack and attack enemy openings in the mean time but seeing as you drew that slot, I'm more confident that you'll be able to keep your own and I have a bit more of a personal stake in the mission."

Suddenly, Cornelia's eyes shifted out toward the horizon in a flash, there was the sound of metal against metal and a kunai dropped to the ground while Cornelia held one of her own in her free hand, her eyes continuously shifting from one side he other, trying to find the assailant. Soon after, ten shuriken flew through the air from the unseen attacker and they were aimed at Yuen while another two kunai shot out of nowhere at Cornelia.
