Personality: Poncho has a very strong, playful, and sort of obnoxious personality. He is easily spotted within a group and has trouble blending in. He acts like a typical teenage boy when it comes to girls, but has horrible luck with then due to his loud and possibly rude tendencies. He has confidence in his abilities, but that confidence is well placed because he is an exceptional ninja.
When operating in a group he prefers not to call the shots, but somehow always finds himself taking lead. He knows he has these tendencies thus when someone tells him he is being loud, obnoxious or loud he quickly becomes introverted. He loves testing his skills against formidable opponents and is always searching for one. He often acts boisterous when he meets someone new, to try to establish dominance. He is very independent and lives on his own, though he still has family in the area. He often visits and gets into petty squabbles with his many brothers and sisters.
Poncho also has adopted a sort of slang dialect constantly saying "yo" and other phrases, so when he speaks constantly some people find him very weird, but his friends and family have grown used to his unique way of speech.
With his spare time if he isn't daydreaming about girls or being a master shinobi he can be found painting scenery. When people notice him painting he quickly becomes embarrassed because people make it a big deal, with him having such a active personality. He is not good at painting, but he feels art is about doing what you enjoy regardless of skill level.
Angered
When Poncho is angered he becomes very stern and serious. The change is like day and night with his normal persona. When he starts to become heated with a person he often tries to hide it, so when he erupts it comes from no where. Though anger in most cases is a weakness, Poncho has grown accustomed to the emotion thanks to his siblings. In turn when his is enraged in fights he makes slightly smarter decisions and knows how to restrain himself. Some shinobi would reference his angered state to how shinobi normally behave on the battlefield. Even though he knows his battle skills improve with his anger he still tries to control his emotions, because he know they lead to the death of many great shinobi.
Likes:Fighting: Poncho enjoys a good fight and does endorse violence. He feels it keeps the world in rotation, though people die. He knows change is something that must continue to circulate and without conflict change would not happen, making the world stagnant.
Family: Poncho (believes he) chose to move out on his own away from his family, but still loves them. And even when him and his brothers and sisters views are different at the end of the day he still loves them. His relationship with his father is strained, but the two endure each others company.
Friends: Poncho doesn't have many of them so he really values who he has. The few friends he does have, he has met recently due to his past. He knows his ways of speech are weird and sometimes annoying to them, but he continues, sometimes to purposely annoy them.
Art: Poncho has a small area in his heart that has developed and love for art. Whether it be music, dances, drawing, or painting. He knows it is an act that comes from within and has respect for it. His white hair can sometimes be picked out at some art displays admiring work. His favorite spot to write his ridiculous lyrics and draw his mediocre, but heartfelt pictures is any elevated area. Whether it be a roof or mountain top he gets inspired from the beautiful view, bustling streets, busy animals, basically everything.
Females: One of Poncho's biggest weaknesses. He just recently developed this unknown addiction to the opposite sex due to puberty, but his lust seems to be stronger than most. And with every failed attempt he grows more fond of these magnificent creatures. He also has a knack for finding the smallest bit of beauty in almost every woman. This trait slowly found its way to Poncho's everyday living. Even a crack in the road Poncho can find somethings that draws him to what seems to be a flaw to others.
Dislikes:Waiting: Poncho is a very impatient person. Especially if it is for something he knows is big or will benefit him greatly. When he is waiting for something he often counts the minutes and loses sleep in heavy anticipation.
Winter: Poncho strongly hates the winter. He doesn't enjoy the cold, the snow, or the need to wear extra layers. The winter is one of the reasons he acquired the habit of wearing his fur coat and having a lighter handy to make emergency fires.
Expectations: Poncho strongly dislikes expectations being placed upon him. He realizes they will always be there especially as a shinobi, but he feels constantly pressured when they are verbally thrown at him.
Motivation: Rewards: Who isn't motivated to do something when they know a reward will be given. He loves getting new gadgets especially if they are re-useable.
Reputation: When Poncho knows he will gain notoriety for something whether good or bad he will more than likely carry out the task.
Power: Poncho always is trying to become stronger and learn new techniques. If he knows he can accept a mission that will challenge him he will gladly accept it.
Women: Women are pretty powerful factor in Poncho's reality. He has never been in a relationship, but he feels when he becomes stronger girls will frolic to him.
Inspiration: Being a song/poem writer and painter Poncho is always looking for inspiration. He loves seeing different peoples perspectives on things to create his pieces from a different aspect.
Money: He is always looking for some spare change. With his job at his parents restaurant only providing food he is constantly attempting to scrounge up spare ryo
Fears: Needles: Growing up Poncho was constantly being hospitalized due to his fathers irrational training methods. Over the years he has created a fear of needles.
Failure: As a child his father put extreme pressure n him to bring his family to higher power, but he failed. This failure has festered into Poncho being scared to fail. In most cases it pushes him to succeed, but every so often Poncho becomes scared to try. In his mind since he did not try he did not fail, but ultimately he did.
After Life: His father had horrified him with stories of his ancestors and friends how have died as cowards. His father would tell him cowards were forced to relive their death for an eternity aware the scenario was being repeated each time. Poncho has became a brave individual, but doubts his bravery and is always trying to prove himself.
Father:Growing up Poncho was the only child of nine including him who showed interest in the ninja arts. His father took advantage of this and trained him tyrannically, so he would live the dreams his father could not. One horrid day his father attempted an action Poncho's brain defensively regressed. When poncho comes within a certain perimeter of his father he feels an unsettling presence. He tries to fight it, and discover the origins of these feelings.
Bloodline Name: Ranton(Storm Release)
Bloodline Ability: Ranton is an advanced nature Kekkai Genkai that combines the Raiton and Suiton elements into a single powerful element. Ranton can manifest in one of two forms. The first is as beams of energy that can flow like water and be manipulated with high precision. These beams are high speed, heavy impact techniques which can either be piercing in nature or explode upon contact with the force of roughly 5 normal explosive tags. The main weakness of this form is that the beams must flow from their origin point on the users body and if that flow or body part is interrupted they can be stopped prematurely. The second manifestation of Ranton is in the form of dark thunder clouds surging with lightning. These clouds lack the direct attack power of the previously mentioned form, however this is balanced by the severe increase in versatility. These clouds can limit enemy movement, serve as a powerful defense, and even provide visual cover.
Location: Bofuugakure
Clan History: The Isamu clan was not an accident. It's conception was planned by two shinobi families whom were renowned for their abilities with both raiton and suiton respectively. It was long ago when the first Kekkai Genkai were beginning to appear and the arrival of these new powerful techniques made both families question their superiority. In the interest of mutual benefit they joined their clans together and began interbreeding their sons and daughters with the hopes of creating a new Kekkai Genkai. These hopes bore fruit in 9 generations with the birth of the first child capable of using Ranton.
With the appearance of this new style they moved to the then newly formed Bofuugakure and pledged loyalty, in exchange for giving them a home. Life was good however it was not fulfilling for the clan as there was little use for powerful shinobi when all the village leader was interested in was building temples. For a long time they simply trained to master the arts of swordsmanship and ninjutsu waiting for a time when they would be needed . Thus a more aggressive Kage came, the Isamu could not help but find joy as the new leader expanded territories producing a need for capable fighting shinobi. The Isamu proved their worth by assisting in quelling various battles, domestic and foreign.
History: Poncho was born into a rather poor, but unnaturally reproductive family. They were a minor branch of the prosperous Isamu clan. He the third oldest of eight children, made him quickly forgotten as the others came and replaced his position one child at a time. None of his other siblings had the spark in them to pursue the life of a ninja like their father had pressed them too except Poncho.
When his father noticed him pretending to make a string of "handseals" and throw "kunai" he quickly gave Poncho a special position in his life. He trained him vigorously and tirelessly. Noticing the extra attention Poncho was receiving his brothers and sisters grew to spite him. The attention was nice, but Poncho wasn't sure it was worth it.
His father was hellbent on living his failed life of a shinobi through Poncho, then use his stature to pull his family out of the low class they were in. What came with his ruthless and inhumane training was many trips to the hospital due to "horseplay with his siblings", and many tales meant to harden Poncho's character. These methods were successful, but they did have psychological damage to Poncho. He manifested many irrational fears including a fear of his father. When he entered the academy a the age of eight he was quick to rise above the other students and be noticed as a prodigy.
The day Poncho became a Genin was the day Poncho made the choice to move out, only at the age of twelve. This was not because of his new rank it was because, of his fathers twisted toughening tactic. Poncho unknowingly recessed the memory, but it resides somewhere deep inside his brain. The memory expresses itself in the form of a recurring nightmare to Poncho, though he is unaware the event actually took place. His father and a mysterious man are the only ones who know the event is a reality. Poncho was shortly ordered to move into his own home as a new form of training by his father.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, Poncho tried to keep up with his unorthodox training his father taught him, but slowly stopped, because he had lost contact with his family. This time alone was when Poncho's personality finally became what it is currently. He used to be almost a robot listening to everything his father had told him never having his own say. But as he made genuine friends he took a bit of each of their traits and became who he is. His friends notice the common traits, but have no idea where the unique speech pattern came from. The truth lies in Poncho's "nightmare". Within his subconscious their is a man who speaks with the same manner, Poncho knows this, but he can not depict any details other than his seemingly catchy lingo.
Having lost touch with his family Poncho reconnected when he discovered their restaurant while hanging out with some of his fellow shinobi. He wondered how they could afford this, knowing his family was not financially blessed. His father had somehow run across a sum of money around the time Poncho left. Explaining how he could afford the small apartment room he had lived in never having to pay rent. His mother happily hired him and with Poncho have being out of the picture for so long his siblings had long forgiven him. He does notices an unsettling presence when he is around his father and is under suspicion that something must have happened that day.
RP Sample: Poncho awakens in his chilled dimly lit room. He stands and extends a limb for his typical outfit and tosses it on. He steals a quick glance at the dusty clock mounted on a wall smothered in paintings, and notices he had awoken almost fifteen minutes early.
"Haha I have time ta take the scenic route ta work today." He straightens his shirt and slips on his shoes. Reaching for his jacket, he notices it has gone throgh a journe of its own.
"Eh looks like it's time for a new jacket damn."He dangles the ragged covering in his hand examining it, before hiding his tanned arms in the sleeves. Twisting the loose knob, Poncho opens his door, taking a great whiff of the blowing air. He can smell a multitude of aromas from all of the local vendors. His stomachs lets out a roar alerting the teen of his need of nourishment.
"Ah, need my notepad too yo! He ignores the growl knowing he will be fed upon arrival at the restaurant his family ran "The Wrestling Muscle". Seafood was their specialty along with some homegrown vegetables. He could almost taste the Sashimi with a side of piping hot grilled asparagus. Catching himself before falling to far in his dream he realizes he is wasting his precious extra fifteen minutes. He quickly and foolishly runs back into his messy apartment, then finds himself upon the floor having tripped on a pair of pants he had tossed last night.
"Oww... that didn't hurt." He regains his composure, while nursing his new ache. After standing back on his feet, Poncho kicks the pants as if they should have moved to prevent the teens misfortune. He quickly scans the room, noticing he was wasting more time and retrieves his worn out notepad. It seemed to have went through a journey itself. It harbored water damaged edges, scrapes from being tossed on hard surface, and what appears to be, *Poncho taste the strange red liquid with a swipe from his finger*, last nights dinner. With high hopes and an empty stomach Poncho taps the front on his shoes on the cool metal surface of his apartment porch and departs.
