Spira was on another mission, recovering more lost items which had been swiped from the Kusamurakage's vacant mansion. He'd eventually found himself in a tight spot, facing a group of thieves on his own, surrounded, and likely ready to face his fate, however something told him in his mind that his late sister would disapprove of his failure, causing him to suck up any bits of doubt and fear, and take the group head-on! I hope you guys are ready. I haven't really been able to test this yet, so it might not work properly. If this fails, then I'll surrender. The only response Spira got was simple laughter, and a short retort What're you going to do, punk, you've got no more weapons!

  So far, all they did was raise his Fighting Spirit, making him all the more eager to try something out, a technique that'd likely drain his chakra, but allow him to do some kind of damage. You don't get it, I AM a weapon. Spira's form began to change, bone emitting from his arms, legs, and torso. His left arm began to resemble Bone Claw, and his right resembling Dead Blade, his armor beginning to look more like light plate mail as opposed to calcium goo, the crest of a dragon implanted in the center of his chest. After his change, Spira looked more like a knight than a ninja, his appearance having been changed. There was a stillness in the air, Spira unbelieving that his first attempt was a successful one. He doubted it would last though, feeling a bit tired from using a technique that was both out of his range, and out of his reach..

  Alright, let's see what happens. Spira thought, seeing the dumbfounded expressions on his enemies' faces, shortly after charging one of them, then bouncing into the highest jump possible in his new, somewhat weighted armor, flipping once in the air, and bringing down the Bladed right arm upon one of the thieves, cutting them, but not killing them. As if on instinct, the thief fell, clutching his shoulder, seeming to be in some form of pain. To Spira's surprise, there was little blood, as if he'd missed any vein or artery that might have been crucial. Regarding crucial, Spira knew he'd need to finish off the other thieves relatively quickly, or he might be in trouble.

Two Steps from Hell ~ Fire Nation

Auron had a feeling. No. It was more than a feeling, it was an absolute euphoria of triumph. His pray had been trapped, just as he'd planned and without a single hitch in the execution. Now he watched as the lone man was surrounded by the gang of thugs that he'd tricked into attacking in his stead. Auron gazed at the figure and at the bingo book he clutched in his hand. There was no mistake in his calculation.

Despite the urge to smile in victory, Auron kept his cool and waited. There wasn't much more dangerous than a cornered tiger and the info he had gathered suggested the young boy had quite the tiger in him. He looked to be quite a bit younger than he was, but his profile was already extensive. He had an ability that Auron coveted and was seeking to gain. That alone put him on guard, so he kept hiding in the tall trees where he was unlikely to be noticed.

He watched the thugs advance, his eyes prowling the environment for any sign that things weren't as they seemed. His fingers twitched against the tree bark, clutching the branches in eager restlessness. Suddenly, the boy made a move that Auron didn't recognize. His hands dropped to his sides, leaving his guard open, but a change took place. Large pieces of bone covered his torso area, forming into the incarnation of a dragon plate. The bone

Auron smiled as he hadn't anticipated that, but his mind quickly worked out a counter to this new development. In preparation to confront the boy, he'd done an extensive read of his profile, and readied himself for whatever he'd have in store. Bits of ash swirled around his form as he stood on the branch. It embalmed his body, transforming it into a plume of black ash in a smoke-like form, obscuring Auron's face and features.

The mass of smoke traveled downward, heading straight toward the lone man in the center. His arm materialized from the cyclone of ash, readying to strike at his target. The flames from the ash danced around his fist as it headed straight for the young boy's face.

The only thing Spira saw coming towards him in that brief moment, was nothing more than a cloud of ash, flames jutting from the front. Instinctively, he made a leap to his side, a flip being performed in the process, almost looking more like a cartwheel with no hands. However, on landing, Spira twisted, his body following suit, leaving a skid mark on the ground in the form of an arc from the claws of his feet. He was ready for what he may face, but knew he was likely unprepared, his own mind telling him to run and find help, but from whom? His late sister was already dead and gone, and he barely knew anybody ni the village, let alone any fellow shinobi, and as of that moment, it was do or die. Well, that's a new one. Spira commented, watching the storm of ash and flame. He couldn't tell what it would do, only watch it's movements, and respond in kind when necessary, even knowing he would likely fall in defeat.

Spira began to rack his mind for information, anything about this opponent, wondering not what it was, but who. He knew it was some kind of ninjutsu because a creature like that couldn't exist in this world, and he doubted it was any kind of genjutsu either. Let's see.. ash and flame... Spira repeated the thought multiple times under his breath, before finally coming to a hopefully reliable conclusion, immediately making a break for the nearest water source he knew, dashing in the opposite direction of the shinobi likely trying to kill him. He began to bound and rebound from tree to tree, moving somewhat slower than normal due to his new shiny armor, but still relatively fast considering his state of mind. Well, if it's ash and Fire, that usually means it does not like Water, right? Spira thought this, assured that water would likely be a quick way to wrap up the fight as he began to feel tired already, the new jutsu draining him rapidly, a cold sweat beginning to hit him.

An unknown enemy, an unknown jutsu, and to attack at a time like this? Spira thought, feeling like the entire thing was set up, somehow, by an unseen force. The simple thought was enough to irritate him, even make him angry, however he knew that he was restricted at the time unless he wanted to leave himself open, or... Spira realized that if he was correct in assuming his opponent to be a shinobi, then he'd have a shot at losing them, his left arm reaching up, and taking hold of an overhead breanch as he passed it, looping himself over it, and launching himself upwards via momentum and inertia. He relaxed as he was launched upward, his arms falling behind him, his legs following suit in their own way, until he looked like a flying cross until the peak of his flight, when he began to turn over, now heading straight for an upper branch, grabbing it with his left, and swinging a bit before pulling himself up, and squatting on the branch like a white cat witha sword for an arm. He quickly cut into the side of the tree, firmly planting his right arm so he wouldn't lose his balance too quickly. The only thing for him to do now was to sit, and pay very close attention to his unknown adversary.

OOC: Sorry for the day wait. I had a test I had to prepare for.

The ash and smoke scattered away, leaving Auron in the center of the small area with the pray quickly getting away. The thugs stood around, caught in a bit of a daze. It was obvious that they weren't prepared for what had just happened so it was left to Auron to pursue his prey.



He leaped to the trees, quickly trailing after the white-haired boy. His ability came into play as black smoke began to appear around his body. It enveloped him, obscuring his body in smoke again. The black plume of smoke promptly began heading over the trees, not as fast as before but now able to cover leaps without pausing to land on the branches.

Auron continued to chase after the man, wondering just how long this was about to go on for. His mind was a swirl but his thoughts were clear and his goal obvious.
