The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Aren had just begun to start her daily routine, practicing Bagua which seemed a form of circle walking, focusing her mind, and sharpening her senses to a point. To do this, she would raise one hand into the air, swoop it down towards the ground, and back up, as if offering something to the gods. She then quickly reversed her hand position so that the palm was facing outwards, eventually rotating her upper body to the left, as if facing the center of a circle, and began to walk in a circular motion, taking about fifty steps before repeating the process on the flip side. Each time, she continue to move, eventually feeling slightly dizzy, even somewhat lightheaded, though she continued, even through the mild consequences of her constant circular movement. After an hour of constant circles and switching between clockwise and counterclockwise motion, she'd managed to trip over something, an object that seemed unfamiliar to her. As she examined the object, she'd rolled onto her back, seeming perfectly harmless, almost innocent as her attention was focused entirely on the object, examining it's characteristics. It appeared to be a ring of some kind, though how she'd managed to trip over it was beyond her, even as she pondered the possibilities, she never noticed the shadow looming over her.

The little ol' shippu ninja had stumbled into the room on accident, actually, he had stumbled into the building on accident. It was all sort of a mystery to him as to how he had ended up where he was. This didn't seem to bother him much though, after he caught a glimpse of the young women circling around. He walked in seemingly unnoticed, almost like a ninja, as she remained completely focused on what she was doing. This was strange to Sai. What kind of demented yet elegant practice was this. To walk in circles for so long, it seemed like one would get awful bored doing that. He still enjoyed to watch. Maybe it wasn't the actual practice that he enjoyed, but the practicioner. It would not have been far off to say that he found her attractive, but to be fair, he found most women and even some men to be attractive. It was a very loose term for him. Eventually her circling was cut short as she seemingly tripped. Saizo couldn't help hut let out a small sort of giggle. Her falling was just as graceful as her circling though and his laughter would have seemed childish and undeserved had she noticed. Instead of remaining unnoticed, he started to approach her. "Hello!" He said abruptly.

This greeting caught Aren by surprise whilst she examined the ring, her flinch seeming little more than a near unnoticeable twitch as she looked up at the greeter, her brown eyes aglow with a sense of life that seemed all but forgotten. "Oh, pardon me, sir, but I didn't notice that you'd entered.. Is this place yours?" Her voice was light, almost airy and calm, even as formal as she acted towards the mysterious ninja who'd managed to approach her as closely as he had, she couldn't help but blush, knowing that her current position was bad, almost like she was lying in bed after a long day, her knees propped in the air, her body open to attack should the mysterious ninja decide to treat her as a threat, though something in her mind kept her calm, almost relaxed as if the man had a sense of peace surrounding him. She couldn't stop staring into his eyes, almost as if staring into his soul, reading his emotions and body language to a very thorough degree, though she never moved, never flinched at sudden movements made, at the very most, she would let out a false, small cough, enough to make her body move only slightly. She eventually sat up, her hair dragging across the ground, much like her coat when she finally stood to her feet. She didn't move very far, however, as she was still dizzy enough to make her fall as she tried to walk, a small squeak being heard as she tripped over her own feet.

Seemed like he caught her by surprise. He couldn't tell by just looking at her, but it just seemed like he did. It was just like feeling something happpen even though you aren't witnessing it, sort of like a 6th sense of sort. Or maybe he was hallucinating. Sadly, that happaned quite often, more then it should, anyways. "My place?" He said in surpise to her question. "I thought this was your place." He said sort of concerned but quickly shaking it off. Apparently they were both trespassing on unknown territory. Could be worse though. She spoke quite formally, it was cute. Especialy when she was laying on the floor. Was it weird that he liked looking down on her? That definetely sounded weird didn't it. This was meant in a literal way. Looking down on her as she was on the ground, not in any other way, none that he was aware of anyways. He just found it made her look calmed. It was a nice look for her. "I wonder, who does own this place then?" He asked outloud. He watched the girl get up. How rude of him. He still hadn't even introduced himself. Before he could do just that, the women lost her balance. Before she fell, Saizo, without thinking, quickly grabbed her and pulled her towards him.

Aren, having tripped twice, fallen twice, and been caught the second time by a handsome, yet mysterious ninja, could help herself but to blush at the thought that maybe she'd just met someone to deem as "worthy". She could bring herself to speak as she began to listen to his heartbeat, the calming and steady and strong. The air had a sort of mysticism and serenity about it, a single ray of light shining in from the cracked and broken ceiling illuminating the two in the center of the room as they stood, almost as if they'd known each other for a long time. As she continued to listen to his heartbeat, she began to clutch her hands, slightly, the fabric of his shirt folding and bending in her grasp as she closed her eyes, fading into a sort of short dream, just enough to escape the reality that surrounded her, however after only a few short seconds, she was back in the same reality that she'd tried to escape from, her eyes now open, and alight with a faint glow, as if she came to a realization.

Saizo looked down at the maiden. He held her gently. It was happening quite fast. She grasped his shirt and her head leaned on his chest. He couldn't help but feel her warmth on his own body. He liked it. He was starting to blush, about the same as she was. It just all seemed to happen so quick. He didn't mean to do this but did he regret it? It actually seemed like he was enjoying it. She also looked like she was enjoying it. He couldn't quite tell though. Still hadn't gotten her name, but he was fine with that. He wanted to say something, but he wasn't sure what to say to her. It was ok though, didn't seem like they needed words in this situation. He could make out her smell, she was so close after all. She smelled nice to him. He wanted to pull her in closer. His arms showing this as he very slowly pulled her in just a little, something hardly noticeable as he stared at her, in a sort of in awe of her beauty.
