This night was special. Beautiful. Different. Empty and yet so full of changes that it would be scary to think about it in such a way, and yet she did. Wonder. Wonder why. Why was she the one to wander through the deserted streets of Hyougagakure at night? What was she planning on achieving on this serene night, with it's obsidian black sky, dotted with the various stars and that one glorious moon that shone its soothing light upon the rooftops. Upon the streets, the walls and upon her face. She felt it clearly that, unlike the sun, the moon's rays too gave her a feeling of warmth. Maybe later she would know, but not today. Not tonight. Already she knew that one day she would look back upon this night where she sat upon the rooftops, staring into the beauty that was the moon, and smile. Smile for what she'd been, what she was and what she would be. Her life was her own, and this night described it so clearly, so freely. Unchained, no-one to control the unknown powers it held. No-one to fight the evil that lurked in the shadows, to stop the darkness that would rise, but also no-one to stop the thoughts that roamed her mind. Not now. Not yet. But she knew. Albafica Deventris knew. This night would be special.
She stood up and stretched her body whilst balancing on top of the thin roof tiles she stood upon. Her shadow grew large and covered a part of the street below her, but she didn't take notice of it and started walking towards the edge of the roof. Calculating the distance between her and the next rooftop; approximately 15 feet. Quickly glancing left and right first to see whether there were no late bystanders on their way back home, she stepped back a few pace and ran towards the edge. Then she jumped. Her arms spread and her semi-length, black coat fluttering as her hair was slightly lifted by the midnight breeze, she made a mid-air salto to land unto the next roof with a certain smoothness and grace. She then continued her way over the rooftops, towards the training-grounds of Hyougagakure. Tonight there would be held a special training and she wanted to observe those who were training, even though she wasn't allowed to go. Then again, one should know that when telling a sixteen year-old not to do something, that sixteen year-old mentioned feels obliged to do so anyway. And thus Albafica had gone. Soon she was to reach the training fields, just a little while longer.
