Personal v2

Personality: Bakura is a very confident, determined and protective person; those are probably his most defining qualities. He is a rather clever guy, easily grasping most academic things. Bakura finds himself quite charming; he flirts with almost any woman he sees and tries to talk his way out of lousy missions and punishments. Despite this, he is a rather nice guy and gets along with most people pretty easily. He is quite the joker, his sense of humor is rather limitless; because of it, he never really takes insults to heart and just laughs most things off. Bakura believes that fighting is the best way to get to know somebody; if he feels that somebody is becoming a good friend then he will challenge them to a friendly fight. It doesnt even bother him if he knows they are much stronger then him.

Likes:
Bakura loves to fight; if he's bored and has nothing else to do then he will go looking for fights. He actually goes through the shadier parts of the village hoping to be attacked, it makes his travels much more fun. Wrestling has been a passion of Bakura's for some years. He used to enjoy just watching, but now participating is just as much fun. Whether it's just a wrestling match, or incorporating it into real fights, he can't help but smile. Riceballs are his food of choice for most meals. He's not picky, it's just something tasty, easy to make and full of energy. Dogs are his favorite animal, they are loyal, clever and fun to be around. If he had to have any pet then a dog would be his first option. Music makes everything better. He prefers quieter, classical music that can be slow-danced too. Candy is a man's best friend, or atleast it's Bakura's. He's almost never seen not eating sweets or sucking on a lollipop.

Dislikes:
Idiots can be very frustrating, he is quick to be annoyed when people don't understand what he's talking about and hates having to explain things. Vegetables are the salt of the earth; foul, smelly and disgusting things. He would rather go hungry then eat any kind of vegetable. Being a lover of fighting, pacifists just tick Bakura off. People who are pacifists are just too pathetic to fight for what they believe in. Yo' mama jokes bring back the painful memory of his mother's death and so Bakura tends to retaliate with a swift kick to the face. Children are noisy, smelly and dirty; they're no better then vegetables! He hates looking after children and even being around them.

Motivation: Bakura doesn't have a goal that motivates him, he has never been the ambitious type. He has always thought being respected, or feared, would be great. He wants to become strong and renowned, to have stories spoke of him throughout the world. Whether they be of him being a benevolent hero or someone who struck fear into the hearts of Shippugakure enemies.

Bakura was born in Shippugakure, his father was an ex-shinobi who retired after losing one of his legs. His mother was a chuunin and After a few years, he met a woman; they got married and Bakura was born soon after. Bakura's life was fairly normal, his childhood wasn't too different from most children. His parents would tell him tales of their exploits at night, to put him to sleep. Bakura longed to be a ninja and joined the academy as soon as he was able. Unfortunately, at first he was a below-average student. He spent most of his time slacking off with friends. He didn't mean to, he fully intended to be a good student but despite his desire he lacked the motivation.

A couple of years passed and Bakura could see how disapointed his mother and father were, despite the fact that they were very supportive. Then, when he was nine, his mother died on a mission. Bakura took it hard, like any other child who lost their mother, but his father took it even harder. He became depressed and reclusive, Bakura came up with a plan to make his father feel better. He threw his all into his studies, foregoing playing out with his friends for training. A few short months passed and Bakura had went from one of the worst students to one of the best. Neither his teachers nor his friends understood how and questioned him, but he never spoke of his plan. It did work though, his father started getting letters praising his child and his progress recently. It uplifted his spirits so much that he finally broke out of his depression and returned to normal life as a proud father.

Teenage Years
When Bakura finally graduated from the academy, age 13, his constant training slowed once again. This time however, he found a balance between his studies and free time. Bakura took a special liking to wrestling. He would his mission money going to watch people wrestle; though he insisted on watching real wrestling. Eventually he refused to observe any longer, when he was a little over 14, and started practising wrestling moves; he found that they could be quite effective in real fights. He started fighting grown men in wrestling clubs, the only reason he was allowed to fight was because he was a ninja; the other wrestlers weren't as hesitant about fighting a child when they heard that.

When he wasn't flirting, training and working, he would spend his nights wrestling for money. His side-career has stayed with him for a few years, he even earned the name 'The Crusader', which he still loves. Though he never did understand why he was called that name. As the years passed, Bakura trained in many arts. He spent some time practising with different weapons; swords, knives, spears, maces. It was just so he could utilise the weapons if he ever came into use of one. He hadn't so far, but it was nice to know he could. Eventually he learned his chakra nature and learned a few jutsus to compliment his fighting. Eventually, time caught up to today. He remains a genin in Shippugakure, his eyes on the chuunin exams.

Roleplay Sample:
Bakura looked down at the citizens below, he was sat on the edge of a roof; he hadn't a clue what the building beneath him was, he hadn't gotten down to check. He watched the people go about their daily lives in a hurried fashion. Apparantly just the fact that it was night despite the time had them spooked and they wanted to get inside soon. Bakura wasn't fanatical about the night, a summer sun always put a smile on his face, but it didn't bother him as much as the culprit who caused it probably wanted it too.

Things seemed peaceful, until he heard the familiar whistle of a blade cutting through the air behind him. With cat-like reflexes, he threw his body to the side and avoided the shuriken. He quickly stood on the roof and looked towards the culprit, two men who had thought they had found easy prey. "You're so unlucky." Bakura said, holding in a laugh. "Of all the people you attack, you choose the one who's going to kick your ass back to the stinkhole you came from." The attackers were confused by his confidence but weren't put off. The first one charged at Bakura and swung a punch, Bakura effortlessly sidestepped the punch and stepped past the criminal; as he did so he slugged the man in the stomach causing him to double over in pain.

Bakura moved around to the man's front, while he was bent over, and wrapped his arm around the man's head. Bakura placed his other hand under the man's stomach and lifted him straight into the air. Bakura then fell backwards, the man's back slamming into the tiled roof as the impacted. "Suplex!" Bakura hollared with a cheery grin; he stood up and faced the other criminal who was quaking in fear. Not just at his friends quick and humiliating defeat, but the smile on Bakura's face. He looked less like he'd just possibly crippled a man and more like he'd just entered a candy store...
