Personality: Overall Saburo is a pleasant young man, friendly towards those around him due to an upbringing constantly surrounded by his large family. However he does tend to be more quiet than the rest of his family, happy to just sit back and be around everyone, rather and actively involved in all the shenanigans. That being said, the boy can still do his fair share when it comes to childish fun.
Over the years he has developed a small lack of his own self esteem, though this is mostly because he tends to compare himself to those around him. He worries that if he doesn't do something, he may just fade away into the background, and he'll be forgotten. At the same time, he doesn't exactly want to stand out, just remind everyone that he is still there, and is capable of holding his own.
Deep down he does really want to be noticed, then if it is just by one person. This is shown by the efforts he's going through to ensure he will. By becoming a shinobi, he hopes to impress some girl, and perhaps she'll see him as more than just another friend, or one of his siblings.
Likes: Saburo like many things, most of all he likes a nice quiet spot, and a good book. He loves to learn, and study various things. Find out how something works is one of his favourite hobbies, and often got him into trouble as a boy.
He also likes to be around friends and family also, though he tends to be the quiet one who is happy just to watch, and be around them. However he won't complain if his dragged into some sort of game, or other mischief which he's siblings may have gotten him into.
Despite the land in which he was raised, Saburo enjoys warm weather, and visiting beaches, or other water sources such as lakes and rivers. He always enjoyed being around water as child. When they had a chance to travel as a family, he was always around the water, and looking at the various creatures that lived in the area.
He also loves most meats, but especially beef. Ramen is one of his favourite meals.
Dislikes: Saburo doesn't like to be ignored, though at the same time he doesn't enjoy being the center of attention. He also hates to be mocked, or challenged, especially when it comes to his intellect. One of the few things that causes the normal placid male to snap is or someone to question his logic, or otherwise insult his intelligence.
He also has a strong dislike of seafood. He doesn't mind the creatures, but hates eating them.
Motivation: The major factor that drives Saburo is he wants to be noticed. He doesn't want to be int he spotlight, just do enough that people will notice him, and remember he's there. He also is happy to accept praise about his knowledge, though he will of course humbly deny such praise. Also he truly hopes to find someone special at some point, and feels that unless he does something great he won't be noticed.
Fears: He fears that he'll be forgotten, caught up as just another of his siblings, or just another nerd. He also happens to have a strong fear of spiders.
Tsukishio Clan Bloodline Name: None
Bloodline Ability: None
Location: Hyougagakure
Clan History: The clan is nothing special, just a typical clan that joined the village generations ago, and has been there ever since. They have no unique skills to speak of.
History: In Hyougagakure, there was a large family, one which contained eleven children. Among all these there were six boys, and the five girls, and two very proud parents. One of these children, Saburo, happened to always just blend in with the surrounds, never really standing out. Being the third son, and fifth child oldest overall, he was truly a middle child.
Constantly being surrounded by his family, the boy grew up happy, content with his life as it was. It seemed each of his siblings were off exciting things, some becoming Shinobi, while others pursued other endeavors. The boy was happy with the lack of attention he receive, not really craving anything extra, he was happy enough just to be around his family, and small circle of friends. He was a quiet boy, and often mistaken as shy because of this, though with ten other siblings one learns to converse and interact quite well.
In his early teens, Saburo had considered becoming a shinobi, showing signs that he was a potential Suiton user, though he was quite content to stay at home, and read a good book. The idea of going out on dangerous missions didn't sit well with him, some why not just stay home where it is safe and sound? He was always bright, and planned to use his intelligence in various ways, perhaps make a career out of it.
Things began to change the old he got however, as more more and more of his siblings, especially the younger ones were overtaking him, becoming much more successful and acknowledged than himself. Part of him started to wonder if he was a disappointment to his family, though they always assured him he was fine just as was. His friends on the other hand started to give him slack, and one by one start to disappear as they advanced into the ranks of shinobi and other tasks.
Soon the growing teen found himself increasing alone besides his family, though some of his siblings were starting to move on and find lives of their own. The final straw however was when Saburo realised the ladies were more impressed by the big, brave shinobi, then some small bookworm who liked to stay safe and sound. Eventually the young man made the choice, he would give the shinobi lifestyle a try. If worse came to worse, he could always head towards some form of shinobi intelligence organisation.
This is how the teen ended up in the academy at a relatively old age, which was made all the more humiliating by the fact he was in the same class as one of his younger sister. Though well meaning and offering to help him during the time there, this often lead to even more amusement of his young peers.
Eventually Saburo made it through, and at the ripe old age of seventeen, he graduated from the academy, ready to show the world what he could do.

The soft crash was waves against a rocky shore filled the air, occasionally broken by an outburst of childish laughter, or an angry cry. A large family of child ran around, darting along the rocks as they played shinobi, being watched at a distance by middle aged couple. The mother was tending to a fussy baby, while the father walked a small toddler near the rocks so it could watch her older siblings.
Saburo was chasing one of his younger sisters along the rocks, when he saw a small wave coming. With a grin he stopped, and did what he thought were some pretty impressive head seals, before calling out, "Suiton: Big Wave Technique!" The wave washed over the rock causing his sister to slip, and she gasped softly. "Brother, you can do real jutsu like a Shinobi?" The impressed young girl quickly ran off excitedly to tell her other siblings, but got distracted by the game and forgot all about wave. Saburo however chuckled to himself, somewhat surprised his little trick even worked, and that his sister believed it was really him who caused the wave.
He was about to rejoin the game when he saw something that had washed up in small rock pool in the last wave. He bent down and saw a pretty shell, and plucked it out of the water. As he looked closely at his treasure, the boy soon realised it was more then a shell, but some sort of creature hiding inside what he later learned was a clam. Being open, the boy natural poked a curious finger at the gap, which quickly snapped shut. Caught by surprise the boy near dropped the creature, fumbling with it for a moment before regain his grip on it.
Happily the boy carried his new pet up from the shore to show his parents. Upon finding his mother, who had just laid the baby down, he presented the creature to her. "Oh my, what have you found this time Saburo? Oh a clam, isn't it's shell pretty?" He young boy gave a nod, and smiled at his mother. "I found it down in the rocks, it washed up in a wave." The woman ran her finger along the creature, before glancing back up at her son. "Did you know, clams and other creatures like them make something called pearls? They're very rare and beautiful." Upon asking what these pearls were, the young boys mother sat with him, and explained the process by which a clam made a pearl from a simple grain of sand.
Once the story was finished, Saburo looked intently at the clam. "Momma, do you think this clam has a pearl?" He asked his mother. She just chuckled, and handed it back. "Probably not, pearls are very, very rare, maybe one day you'll find one if you're lucky." She turned to check on the baby, only to find the boy attempting to pry upon the shell of the creature unsuccessfully. She quickly placed her hand on his, and stopped him. "Careful son, you may hurt it, you don't want to do that do you." Conflicted, the boy looked between his mother and the clam. He really didn't want to hurt it, yet he wanted to know if there was a pearl. Seeing the confusion on his face, the woman took the clam back, and began to soft stroke along the gap in its shell. Soon it opened up a fraction again. "See, there is always a smarter way son, why don't you check now?"
Curiously the boy took back the clam, and tried to hold it so the sun would shine into the gap, and he could peer in. Eventually he sighed. "I don't think there is anything in there Momma, this clam is worthless." The woman patted his head, and stood up, taking him by the hand. "Don't say that son, this little clam just hasn't made it's pearl yet. It take a good deal of time. Perhaps you should take it back to the water so it has a chance to get started." Saburo thought about this for a moment, though he still decided the clam was worthless. Together mother and son walked back to the sea, and he dropped the creature back into the water. "One day son, you might return and find your old friend has grown a pearl just for you." Part of the boy hoped this was true, but in his young mind he decided this would be unlikely, and just shrugged. With a smile the mother put her arm around his shoulders, and started to lead him back. "Let's start gathering your siblings, it's getting late and we should be heading back now."
