The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Subject: Helping The Stubborn Oujoukage... Sun May 11, 2014 2:32 am
It was a fine and quiet day, most like any other for Yuri Onmyoton; the intelligence, level-headed and slightly perverted kunoichi had very little that could ruined her mood. Yuri started her day in the usual way. Yuri woke up early in the morning and went to towards the Onmyoton's clam meditation room and began her mental exercises which Yuri was require to play strategy games like shogi and go with her fellow clan people. The reason was she was required to play the games was to kept mind active, get Yuri's mind use to thinking ahead of her opponent, Yuri's father and clan, always taught the ideal of staying several steps ahead of your opponent and always having back-up plans. After couple hours of playing those games. Yuri then went meditate for another three hours. It was getting close to lunchtime when Yuri finally left the Onmyoton's chamber, luckily for Yuri her mother had made lunch for the whole family. Yuri sat with her family of four and enjoy a silent lunch of dumplings. There some talking here and there, mostly about matters within the clan and Yuri's training. Once Yuri finished her lunch she clean the dishes and left the Onmyoton's compound. Of course Yuri had an adult rated novel with her, she was hardly seen without one. As Yuri wandered around the village, she was thinking about her first meeting with the Kage. "I should see if he change his mind about not using Jutsu to get his paperwork done." Yuri spot the Administration building from the distance and head in its direction. The trip to the buildings was quiet, there weren't many people out on the streets. Yuri simply read her orange book and enter the building.
Once Yuri was inside, just like before she went through two checkpoints before she was allow upstairs, in which the Oujoukage's office was locate at. Yuri walk down a long hallway before finally reaching the Oujoukage's Office. Yuri knocked on the door quietly before she would open the door and step into the office, closing the door behind her. "Oh Ojoukage. Your favorite genin is here. I didn't know what to do so, I decided to pay my favorite Kage a visit. Also I want to know if thought about the offer I made to you. You really could use an assistant. "Yuri's eyes glance down at the paperwork that was pile on the Oujoukage's office and smirk, the pile has gotten bigger from the last time she was her, at least in her opinion. Shaking her head, as she walk in front the Ojoukage's desk. Yuri sighed a bit, it was clear the he didn't her advice on using shadow clones to get the paperwork done. The first time Yuri was here she came here to request her first mission, it was before she left to do the mission or after she turn in her mission success form. Yuri did told the the Oujoukage she was willing to be his assistant.

A busy day it was for me, paperwork after paperwork with no breaks. My saving grace was the general silence and peaceful atmosphere in the office. The morning started as it always did; the sun steadily risen from the ocean and the village slowly coming to life. Having gotten only 3 hours of rest, I was somewhat tired but I was quick to get myself awake and raring to go for the day. Before going into the office this morning, I made my first trip around the village to greet the villagers who were opening their shops. This was how the villagers were able to get more used to my presence; eventually, it became easier for me to talk to the villagers I oversee every day. The entire walk took me about twenty minutes before I arrived at the building where my office resided, which was at the very top.
I made it a habit to first check in with the main desk and the Chuunin and Jounin who patrolled the first and second floors. This was simply to get quick, verbal reports before getting the papers. As usual, there were plenty of requests for assistance around the village but not enough young shinobi to take them on. It was slightly disappointing, but there was not much I could do about that. After checking in, I headed up to my office where I was to start in on the day's paperwork.
Today felt like it was going to be interesting. Interesting in the sense that something new that was going to make itself known to me. The said feeling got me somewhat excited and pumped for the day's chor- paperwork. I wished that paperwork wasn't such a monumental part of being the Oujoukage. Those lazy bastards in the council just wanted someone else to waste time signing papers day after day. Regardless, of that, I sighed and then sat down at my desk, thus picking up a pen and starting in on the medium-sized stacks of paper for the day.
Though, signing papers wasn't the only thing I did at the desk. Most of the work came from the reports sent in by the Jounin, which I had to read thoroughly and give a swift response, whether it was an approval or questions regarding anomalies in their shifts. It was slightly more entertaining mentally when I worked through the reports, hence why I usually saved them for last. I wanted to stay away from feeling shitty when walking out the door for the day. Medical reports were even more fun, due to all the little details in a shinobi's autopsy. Thanks to those reports, I had been able to teach myself a little about medical procedures and how the human body works. Medical reports were how I got my healthy reading done when I had nothing else healthy to read. The rest of the paperwork I had to work on were requests from members of the village, such as merchants from the market district and the teachers at the local academy. My duty was to write those requests up unto tasks for young shinobi to complete for easy spending money. It was fairly rewarding in the long run, but it wasn't as entertaining as looking through the medical reports.
Most of the morning flew by without my noticing, and by the time I had checked, it was already past 2 o' clock in the afternoon. Wow, time sure flew over my head while I was working. I should take my break about now as well. Just as I had thought that, though, a knock happened upon my office door. Moments after, the door opened and Yuri Onmyoton walked in. To be honest, I wasn't too surprised to see her. She was here often, taking on the requests I put up on the board on the first floor. She had a lot of guts to be talk to me so casually, but at the same time, I was glad. Formalities were annoying, and I didn't feel that I deserved the respect just yet. I took my time listening to the young girl before stating my retort.
"Your favorite, huh? There have apparently been others? Jokes aside, I wanted to discuss just that with you in fact. I am about to head out for lunch. Care to join me? I'll buy."
I smiled courteously at the girl to be doubly sure that I was being kind. It was difficult for people to see what I'm feeling due to my face being mostly covered up. Hopefully, she would accept the offer and join me on my lunch break so that we could discuss a possible job as my assistant.

The Oujoukage had a sense of humor? That was something unexpected but pleasant at the same time. She had expected the powerful man to criticize her on her lack of Formalities. If anyone were to look at him, he seem to give off an aura of professionalism, which could be expected since he is the leader of the hidden moon village. From the ways he sits to the way he walks, his posture always perfect and never faltering. He truly deserved respect so many talking to him so causally wasn't the best of ideas. Yuri thought about this for a few seconds before she dismissed the thought entirely. If he didn't have a problem for it then there was no need to worried about it. At least for now.
Yuri listened to his retort and decided that she would come up with her own playfully retort. "Oh Don't be jealous, I'm a one Kage type of kunoichi. My only desire is to serve you and only you. No wait, the only other people who I desire to serve is my future lover. So maybe you should be jealous.". Yuri kindly smiled back at the Oujoukage. Sure she said it jokingly but she was serious about serving the Kage or else she wouldn't be here now. Yuri did had a difficult time gauging how he was feeling due to the majority of his face being covered up. For now she assumed he was being kind. Just as Yuri was about to answer his question about joining him for lunch, her stomach beat her to it. It been awhile since she last ate. Yuri smiled got even wider as he said he would paid. It wasn't that she didn't have money of her own or that she was gold digger, it was just that she was saving money for her genjutsu training. Yuri was shocked about how much money it cost to train in a new skill or a jutsu. It was a bit overwhelming for her at first but she manage to adjust. It was the main reason she came here on nearly a weekly and sometimes multiple times a week. It was simple, more missions equal more ryo. "What a gentleman, I would love to join you for lunch. I would have made a joke about how you are taking me out on a date but I'm sure you already have a girlfriend or boyfriend." To be frank, Yuri had assume that the Oujoukage was more or less, Asexual. He didn't look like the romantic type that's for sure. But then again, Icha Icha states that everyone has a hidden romantic side, its just takes the right gal or guy to bring it out. "Just in case you were wonder, I don't have a massive appetite like most of the women in this village. You ever heard about how much a Rankujo woman can eat in a single meal? It truly terrifying. Makes my wallet cry. " Yuri's face lost a bit color as she image as Rankujo woman, eating her entire wallet. After the thought pass, Yuri regained her focus.
"Hopefully after this lunch ends, I will earn the title of Oujoukage's assistant." Unlike earlier, Yuri said this in serious but clam tone. She was prepared to discuss serious business. Ever since she made the offer to become his assistant, she took on even more missions just to impress him and to add to her mental resume. Plus with her being recently promoted to rank of Chunnin in such a short amount of time could only make her more noticeable. Finally, the biggest and most important change Yuri did was to change her attire completely, she had to tone down her Icha Icha style of dressing and go with something more mature. A few days before she visited the Kage, Yuri started to wear office attire. Even now Yuri was wearing very formal attire consisting of a long-sleeved, high-collared, light blue dress shirt and skirt, along with sandals. Even with the change in attire, Yuri did thought that she look sexy in office attire. Even with all of these changes, Yuri personality didn't change much. Which she was about to prove with her next state "You do need some eye candy around the workplace besides yourself. It will bring in more clients and business to the village." Yuri giggled a bit before she thought about what she want for lunch. Word Count: 741
