The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Personality: Kira is actually a fairly sweet woman, will do anything for the people she cares about and those she loves. She will put people before herself almost every time. Kira is also very playful in the best way possible. She still loves to have fun and play jokes on people though as a mother she makes sure to limit things like that, so her daughter doesn’t take those habits from her, even though she does.
However Kira is very protective of Aiko, willing to take anyone on for her daughter’s sake. She will protect her child at any cost. At times she can be a bit too protective of Aiko, mostly when the child gets hurt or she feels the girl could be upset.
Also in battle, Kira is very serious and does not take things lightly. She has a bit of a temper so is easily angered. Though even when angry she’s able to keep a calm head and think things through before she does them, assuming she’s not furious which then all logic goes out the window.
Likes: Kira's favorite things are animals, playing with Aiko, and training. She grew up around animals so she is very familiar with them mostly wolves which she has one at all times. With training, she abosolutely loves a good fight here and there to keep her on her toes.
Dislikes: She hates anyone messing with Aiko, negativity, bring up her past. She hates when anyone asks when she came from or anything about her past, she just hopes to get anyway with no one ever knowing her name.
Motivation: To live a new life and protect the ones she loves, never betraying them.
Fears: Failing to care for her daughter and end up hurting someone she loves again.

The Birth
Cries echoed throughout the area, the cries became screams of torture. A young woman laid on a bed, her body torn but in front of the woman was a miracle. A baby girl cried and hollered. Her name? Kiraka Ookami. Her soft pale skinned arms flailed and thrashed with every sound the child made. Right from the start she was not one to remain quiet and allow the world to pass her by.
Even at such young age, Kira's mother knew the little wolf would be a handful and that seemed like it was a understatement. However no matter what her baby threw at her, Kira's mother would love the baby. Even though her name, Kiraka, meant one of dark, it was far from the truth. Kira was the kind of kid that made many around her smile. With a laugh she could take a tense room become at ease and completely relaxed.
Years later
Soon the baby was a young child, ready to see what the world had to offer her. She was bright eyed and bushy tailed, quite literally. She ran around showing off her wolf like features to anyone who would notice her. Kira wanted nothing but to be able to help those around her. However time wasn’t so kind to her as she thought it would be. Because as the years progressed the child became less and less outgoing. Her bubbly personality became shy; darkness clouded her innocent and vibrant eyes.
What even her own parents didn't know, was the child was teased and made fun of, calling her all sorts of names. However like her, her father held the Ookami blood, which he understood completely how she felt. This is when he decided to toughen her soft delicate skin and make her a ninja. She didn't know anything about fighting and often shied away from such conflict. But her father was determined to make her the best she could be. Thus the training began.
At first, Kira couldn't even hold a kunai, let alone throw it. Often this made the little wolf upset and give up on the hopes of becoming stronger. Nothing seemed to help at all; the child just did not have the will to fight. If the option of fight or flight was given to young Kira, she would choose flight in a heartbeat. She couldn’t fight if she wanted to.
Even though the child did not show progress, her father was not about to give up hope. Somehow he must get the girl to understand that in order to survive you must be strong and fight when necessary. There must be something that would get the pup to understand!
His wish came true a few months later but not in a way that he wanted. Her motivation at last came, but not without a price to be paid.
The Price? Life
There was nothing to ever tell that the day wasn't like any other before it. The sun shined, the streets buzzed with gossip, life was normal. There was no way the young Kira could know her life was about to change.
Blood and sweat dropped for the girl's forehead, mixing with salty tears. Her body was bruised. But even the busies held bruises, though her eyes still shined as she looked up at the man she called her father. He offered a smile and a cool drink to her, which she gladly accepted both.
They had been training for hours; which was merely an hour or so, but seemed like eternity for the girl. But suddenly her father stood at attention and looked around. Her canine senses had not fully develop yet so she did not smell nor hear the things her father could.
Her father voice a harsh stay command and ran towards their home. This made Kira curious. It was like her father was on a secret mission that she wasn't allowed to know. So despite her aching bones, she stood and ran in the direction that her father had. To her he was only gone for a short time though it was much more then that. Once the slower moving child arrived, a man caught her in his arms, trapping her.
She thrashed and screamed but to no avail, she tried punching, kicking, biting but nothing worked. "Calm yourself little wolf." With a voice like honey to her, she looked up. A man that knew her father since they were boys looked down at her. Her blue eyes met his crimson ones "where's father?"
Those simple words drove knifes into his heart. Her innocent eyes drilling pain and sorrow into his soul. He could not reply, he wouldn't reply. He did not have the heart to tell her anything.
But the young wolf was not about to sit around, kicking him as hard as she could she made the male release her. She quickly dashed between people and through the door. Her rushed movements immediately stopped dead, like her heart did within her chest.
To her left, men she didn't even know we're sprawled out, claw marks seperated the skin. She moved slightly closer to the mystery man and noticed he held a picture of her in his bloody hand. Had she known the man? We're they connected somehow?
Before she could turn, her eyes were covered. The same voice as before filling her ears "I warn you Kira, this is not supposed to be something a child sees, just come with me." The only response he received was a elbow to the stomach, something she learned from her father's training lessions.
Her eyes widen once freed from darkness. Her pale cheeks we're flooded over by her constant tears. The steady stream mixed in with the blood below her feet, a few moments of silence before a piercing howling scream was released from such a tiny throat "mommy! Daddy!!!" Though that innocent sorrow turned pure rage as she turned to the man on the floor, throwing broken items at the corpse until her hands turned the color of the ground, red. The man helplessly watched the child's fuming rage slowly die down.
The two imerdged from the house not long after. Though the girl was covered with not only her blood but the blood of her deceased parents. This was from the child insistently hugging the parents she now lost.
She was not walking, or even awake for that matter, she was passed out in the man's arms as he cradled an carried her to safety.
Once the blood was clean and wounds were patched, the girl awoke, but did not dare to say a word. Did not eat or drink for days at a time, just constantly held the sword that the man gave her when she woke ups a sword that belonged to her father, engraved with be strong and live long. Live long. Something they were not able to do. But Kira on the other hand had every ounce of her mind set on becoming what her father wanted her to be. She would become stronger, not only for her father but so she could punish people that harmed the innocent. She would not cry or coward down to anyone ever again.
Redemption
Kira grew from a shy, timid, and week child to a passionate, generous yet powerful young adult. She had passed genin, however not as easily as she thought. Without someone to train her, it was hard to grasp what she needed to know. Often times she would now hide her features and get by as a 'normal' child. Though when Chunnin exams came around, it became more and more difficult. The stages pushed the girl pasted what she knew was possible, most times she would give up. And she was only training right now. Her young pup, a beautiful wolf pup named Akira, was now her best friend. And possibly the only one she had. All she thought, breathed, and knew was to train, to become stronger. Sure she knew what kindness ws and oftene showed it through the limited contact she had, but that was about it.
That was until fate decided to show her what life was really about. Her fate brought two people close together, her and a young man named Andeddo Tokko. They were destined to be together it seemed but both were very clueless at the time. She first saw him as a man who simply wasn't very social and wasn't sure about him. Though as time progressed Kiraka found herself having this growing affection for him, love if you will. She loved him more then anything she had ever before.
The nightmares of blood and tears were filed with wonderful memories of him. She forgot being strong and allowed herself to be herself, not something that her father wanted. She forgot about her past and future and just live for that day, where she belonged, in his arms.
A bond grew between them, a bond that Kira knew that could never be broken by anyone. So she took the first leap and marked him. It was the first time ever doing something like that, but she promised him that "wolves mated forever" and she wasn't going to let him go. And she honesty thought that.
Though it seemed nothing could break a bond that strong, nothing could ever get in the way. They spent every moment they could together; she took only few missions and helped her Kage when she was needed. But nothing could keep her mind off of her love.
Though like all good things, the times of happiness and forever seemed to slip further and further away, and Kira didn't know what to do. Andeddo seemed to be going on missions so much and she was needed for some searches for when her canine features came in handy. Along the way she met her mentor a energetic but powerful Ookami that seemed to love her like a younger sister, he decided to train her like she always wanted but that made her be longer away from her true love. Until the bond was weak enough to break.
Unchained Through blood, sweat, and tears Kira grew up to be even stronger, winning a Chunnin title. She was so grateful to her mentor for those drilling hours but sadly that once again became her passion. However she did reconnect with her love, the passion and feelings never dying between the two, they even both trained together, strengthen the bond once more.
But soon Kira and Andeddo grew more distant, he with his missions and her with training plus missions. Until someone came in between.
She was depressed and ready to give up all hope and he was a man with honey words. Her Kage seemed to be there for her when she felt the most alone. She seemed to other everything in the older man's embrace. Though it was not all goodness, he was feeding her sugar coated lies that her lover no longer cared for her and abandoned her for a place of his own. Without the strength of the bond, her hold broke and she was caught in a metal trap.
Nights never passed where she did feel wrong in more ways the one, wanting to escape her life. She would often think about the love she used to have, and still did. She still loved Andeddo with all her heart but somehow ended in another man's arms. Finally one day she had quite enough of all the lies he was feeding her.
The rebellion
Kira declared herself an ex-member and broke all contact with the Kage and the village. She traveled many places, her wolf Akira at her side. She turned almost dark, her kindness gone. Kiraka cared for no one but herself and didn't care who got in her way, they would fall to their knees. She grew up the ranks, training harder then ever before, points to where death was a possibility.
Though there was still that teenager who loved to be loved and wanted her true one back but she swallowed the pain and used it as strength. Before she knew it she was a Jounin, and liking the new found power she held. Though looking around her she hated how far she let this go. She found herself breaking down. Knowing exactly what she had to do.
Kira went back to the place she once called home, where it seemed her Kage was not the same. She simply found out what she needed to know and began a quest to find Andeddo, though when she heard about what happened, her heart broke. The men that she called her friends, and the supposed lover she had were in a feud against the one she held dear. They used her, she couldn't feel lower. All this time how could she not notice.
She was more determined than ever to find him and tell him the truth but what she was to eventually find out was going to kill her.
Death
Kira searched high and low for any signs of where the three might be. Finally getting to a spot where someone known. She was frantic and asked about Andeddo but they knew another name, so she asked about that one "where is he I need to speak with him, it's dire!" The flames burned in her eyes as she demanded to know, this causing the man to tell her the truth. The village was destroyed and he guessed the Kage along with it.
Her hear crushed and broke into a million pieces, tears flowing steadily as they once did before. Why did everyone she cared for end up dead in some way! Or she thought at least.
Kira was not the same anymore, she was not bright and cheerful, or even playful, she was just existing. She took on mission after mission in a village she was now located in, to keep herself busy. Though the wolf bit off more than she could chew, being wounded severely, nearly causing her death. She was in a coma like state for several months. However where she was staying was under attack, the men that tried to kill her came back, most likely to finish her and what she stood for. The mission was to infiltrate their lair and pose as one of them, but plans wen south when she was discovered by them.
Thankfully she got away in time and her father's friend rushed her to the hospital. Though without her knowledge the men had come into the hospital and planned to finish the job.
Kira moaned within her sleep, pain nipping and tearing at her skin, like someone was ripping her heart right out of her chest. Her eyes opened to the sounds of constant beeps. She looked over to her left, noticing the people that she did not know at all. She tried to scream but her voice failed her, as if someone was grabbing a hold of her neck and squeezing it. They were causing her this pain as they slowly injected some sort of liquid into her nerve system. Her hazy eyes caught her father's friend performing some sort of hand signs and placing his hands right above her chest but below her neck. He looked just as teary as she did "I'm doing this to protect you. I love you like my own daughter, I'm so sorry." With that a bloody murder scream echoed the entire building.
The man turned to look at the monitor she was set up with, watching it's mountain highs and it rock bottoms slow to a steady rhythm then...just a long stringed beep. The deed was done, young Kiraka Ookami was dead. He asked for her to be removed and placed in an area he asked.
Once she was where he needed her, she placed a kiss on her cool forehead "you may have a slight headache after this little wolf." He then slipped the sword into her cold grey hands and closed her open eyes.
Awake
Soft light entered the room, encasing the sleeping wolf in a yellow glow. Though that didn't last. Two blue eyes snapped open, her mouth open, gasping for air. She sat up quickly, feeling her heart beat once more, as she placed a hand over her chest. She looked around, seemingly she was in a brand new hospital. She tested out her legs before walking out, the light was bright at first but she adjusted. Sword in hand she headed outside, she was greeted with new people and a new life.
To live once more
After the accident and supposed death, Kira resumed a pretty normal life. The people were kind to her and accepted her even though she knows nothing about the world she now lives in. She found out at the hospital that they found her, abandoned in a small house. However she knew that her friend used a forbidden method and had preserved her body, it was like her body was frozen and not even time could touch her. When she asked the date, her heart dropped. She had been like that for a good 100 years. Kira spent night and nights crying and crying knowing that everyone she once knew was gone.
Kira didn't even know why she was living anymore. Everyone was gone, all of the people she cared about gone. This put her in a deep depression. Some nights she didn't even feel anything, like a shell that's been drained then stripped of its natural beauty. Her short hair grew long and she didn't even bother to take care of it besides just brushing it.
She thought that her life wasn't even worth it, until it took the most unlikely person to show her a different view. A small child that was too skinny for her own good.
The child held a smile on her face as she bent over to a knelt Kira, their eyes meeting as if destiny brought them together. Kira slowly was brought out of depression the more she talked to the girl. Somehow the child had this air about her the just made anyone smile no matter what. The more Kira learned the more she knew her problems were as bad. The child was orphaned at a very young age and just simply learned to live by herself.
Aiko's mother died minutes after she was born. Her father blamed her but did not abuse the child since it was the only thing left of his wife that he had. Though one day the father couldn't take it, he couldn't take seeing the little girl's eyes and seeing his wife. Though he didn't have the heart to get rid of the baby, she was flesh and blood. So one day he simply told the five year old that he would be back. Little Aiko waited and waited at the door for her father to return just as he promised. However when the door opened it was not her father, but a man that worked with her father. He told the young and naive girl that her father was in a terrible accident and won't be coming home. She asked him when he was coming home but the man did not reply and simply left the confused child. Aiko never knew until she was seven years of age that the man meant her father was never coming back. He had left her, he took a mission he knew he would die in and left his little girl to defend for herself.
So when a woman such as Kira came along the young Aiko was more than happy to be nice to her. The two hit it off so perfectly, as if they were family without some document saying they were. They were inseparable, netting every place they could, doing whatever they could to be together. The only time they were apart was when Kira went on missions or had helped around the village for her Kage. But other than that you never saw one without the other.
One day the child began getting picked on by others, causing the girl to fall apart thinking something was wrong with her. Kira felt the pain the girl felt. She also felt the depression of losing everything, like your world came crashing down around you. So Kira simply held the child close and watched as the girl cried against her. Every tear Aiko shed stabbed Kira in the heart. She then smiled and held the girl arm’s length "how about we dry those eyes."
Kira vowed to protect the girl, whose name she found out was Aiko. Since both Kira and Aiko did not have anyone but themselves, Kira decided to adopt Aiko as her daughter. This allowed Kira to have someone to love once more, and Aiko to have a family again. This was something Kira never thought was possible, having a daughter weather by blood or by choice. But here she was filling out papers to have Aiko Jero become Aiko Ookami, sharing her last name.
Once Aiko was officially adopted, Kira moved in with her, but the house was quite small and no room for Kira to raise her daughter. So with that Kira went on several jobs, earning enough money to be able to move. Of course she asked Aiko where she would like to move to.
It took several months before they could even think about moving. Kira had to do paperwork and everything to make sure Aiko was hers and there wasn't anything anyone could do. When she found out Aiko was official her daughter, she packed up the small house and bought a brand new home in Kusa. A place that they could start over as if they never held a past in the first place. A place that no one knew their names or faces so they would have a brand new slate that she could have.
New Home, New Start
Kira and Aiko had moved into their new place. A place where they could be themselves and not worry about a thing at all. Once the journey had finally gotten them there they would finally relax and figure out what they wanted to do. Aiko was going to be placed into the ninja academy, against Kira’s wishes but the child was stubborn and wanted to join when she was old enough. This made her mother, Kira worry slightly but Kira was glad the girl had a goal and wanted to work really hard.
Aiko had first been worried since she was normally shy but was glad to be moving so she can begin her new journey with her mom. However she was also glad because too many memories had haunted her at the home but now neither one even remembered their haunting past but more of their bright future ahead. The two seemed very happy now, being together in a new environment.
Kira’s now helping around the village more often, taking missions that does not make her leave long or far. Aiko is strong and loving child who often helps Kira around when she helps the Kage with smaller, non-dangerous missions. The kid hopes to become as strong as her mom, even though Kira still wants the child to stay just that a child. Though neither of them could ask for more.
Of course Kira still had some lingering nightmares about what happened to those she knew, more so about her love, a man she’ll never forget. She even wondered where he was now if even possible that he was alive, if he was she hoped he would be able to meet her daughter. But for now all she wanted was to live in peace and raise her kind in a safe area. And that’s exactly what was going to happen, Kira would make sure of that!
RP Sample: Kira placed a hand on her hair as she moved it behind her ears. She smiled lightly and watched as a little girl played with a small puppy. The girl looked up and ran at her at full speed, knocking the wolf off her feet "careful Ai!" She said with a laugh. Aiko smiled and nuzzled into her mother's side "I'm sorry mommy." The child said cutely, but Kira didn't miss the slight tired tone Aiko used. Kira sweeped the small sleepy child into her arms and slowly walked towards their new home. She was careful not to bother the girl who was nuzzling into her neck.
