The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Subject: Plot Thread- A message to Shippuugakure Thu May 08, 2014 2:09 am
This thread is for those who want to start doing the plot missions, post in here to become knowlegable IC about the event(Then you may start requesting missions from the plot) Likewise, you may also create solo threads with( Plot thread) in the title for the messenger to find you.
He was here, he was finally in the village he was sent to so that he could carry out an important message to the kage and the shinobi within its walls. He ran his hands through his hair as he inspected the people about him, a large host of people were about doing their own things in their daily lives. Few shinobi ad civilians alike looked at him oddly with the funny way he dressed and the gold priest staff he held in his hands. It was no time for him to be concerned with his own image, his village's future was at stake!
The Hikarikage had asked him with an important mission- go to the large villages and implore the shinobi to come to their village's aid! He took a deep breathe and steadied his stance before he suddenly leaped up onto a stack of crates and yelled at the host of people to grab their attention.Hello! Good people, may I have your attention! Please excuse my interruption of your daily lives, but I must ask for your assistance! I am not from these lands, I know nothing about your village, your people, or the outside world around us. My village has been hidden for many years and now we find ourselves suddenly vulnerable to bandits, thieves and plunderers! My people are a peaceful lot and cannot defend themselves! Please, go to your kages and request to assist us!
He stayed atop the crates as long as the people would allow him and answered questions he thought he might be able or allowed to answer for them. It was indeed strange for a large village to suddenly appear near Kusamuragakure, many people were intrigued and some fearful: he did his best to not seem threatening as possible. More than anything, he needed to secure powerful allies to defend his beloved village.

That day had been like any other here in the tropical land of Shippuugakure. The air was crisp and salty. The waves lapped at the shores while young and old villagers alike explored its sands and surf. The market was a busy as ever, with fresh catch coming in daily and eager buyers ready to purchase the finest seafood in all the great nations. It truly was a happy little village, and for Kai it happened to be a brighter day than most.
He stood at the end of a pier, looking out to the open sea, wondering if he should spend some of his recent earnings on a sail boat perhaps. Something about the open water just seemed to wash his troubles away. Of which, he had plenty. He took a deep breath, enjoying the salty fishy aroma that was ever present in these parts, and then let it out. But just as soon as he'd begin to relax, he was jolted to attention but a sudden shout. Kai spun and took note of the stranger immediately. HIs size, stature, dress. Even his hands, not those of a working man. And his eyes, which seemed well rested, and relatively without stress. With a flicker he vanished, and repapered behind the man before placing a friendly hand upon his shoulder.
"Welcome stranger, not from around here are ya? But seems you've got something on your chest, 'bout a secret village under attack or something now was it? In any case, I happen to be a Jounin of this village, and I'm on duty today. If you'd like, I can take you or your message to our kage right away. So care to elaborate a bit while we walk the market streets?"
Kai raised a brow, and half expected some sort of tricky novice sneak attack. You never know in the world of ninja, but in all honesty. The guy looked more like a man of the temple, than one of the sword.

Syn, who had still been visiting the village walked along the road enjoying the morning as today the sun seemed especially bright, the blue of the sea especially vivid, whilst the air that he breathed was especially salty. A good day, Syn thought to himself and with a quickly regained sense of awareness it became increasingly clear that more and more people were rushing toward some area ahead. Was a speech being given by someone of notorious stature? Was there I fight? Whatever it was Syn decided he was going to find out. I might as well see what’s going on over there, he thought and so he quickened his pace, not too drastically, but so that he would get to the place he needed to be in a reasonable and timely manner.
Once close enough Syn could make out the figure of a man standing high above the crowd, the robes he bore reflected those of a very high-standing and high-class figure. His hands bore no scars and seemed much too soft to have ever held a blade and his eyes carried no bags, which signified his comfortable sleep. This man was quite something. Listening in Syn could hear him announce rather loudly, “Hello! Please, go to your kages and request to assist us!”
Within an instant Syn was at the side of the man and at the same time a familiar figure began to speak saying, ”Welcome stranger, not from around here are ya? But seems you've got something on your chest, 'bout a secret village under attack or something now was it? In any case, I happen to be a Jounin of this village, and I'm on duty today. If you'd like, I can take you or your message to our kage right away. So care to elaborate a bit while we walk the market streets?”
“Aaaaaah Kai”, Syn said, “though I may not be of this village I believe my assistance could be of use as even though I am not from here I am however also a Jounin in a village elsewhere”.
With that said, Syn looked back at the robed figure for confirmation.

Suddenly there were two jounin behind him as he finished his speech, it was a surprise... but not really. While he was a peaceful man with nothing but innocence shown through his physical personification- he was no stranger to chakra or sensing. He had sensed the Jounins' movement and expected them to appear before him... not behind him.Ah assistance from two Jounin... and from different villages for that matter! This is wonderful!
He scoffed at the prospect of a "secret" hardly... his village had been shrouded in secrets for generations and then they were suddenly naked to the eyes of anyone who wished to look their way. He bowed respectfully to both Jounin and thanked the spirits that his prayers were being heard almost immediately. You see, my village has suddenly become visible to everyone and unprotected anymore. My village is near Kusamuragakure and can be seen from a far stance from the village itself. We are a peaceful people who frown upon violence... but we are unable to protect ourselves and are seeking help from your village. Would you help my people?
He looked at both Jounin earnestly and half-expected them to make excuses about important things to do.

Kai listened to the man intently. And as he told of his secluded village, thoughts of the past began to give rise in Kai's own mind. He picked others similar to this monk, plowi fields, harvesting rice and other vegitables. Being secluded from the outside world as he claimed they were meant the village must be self sustaining. A concept he was very familiar with.
He imagined Pa. His own father, teaching him the workings of the farm. How to differentiate weed from plant, and demanding of him a solid work ethic, even from a young age. Kai smiled, surely to be noticed by the monk, as he thought of the children of this man's village learning the same lessons he once had. It was settled, nothing would stop him from lending a hand. Although he was usually a bit apathetic. Faking emotion rather than feeling the real thing, this time he genuinely felt concern for the man.
Kai threw a quick glance to Syn, a man he'd become aquanted with at the local bar and someone he was beginning to consider a friend. He nodded, as Syn seemed to be interested as well.
"My name is Kaishi Senshi, and I'd be glad to help." Kai looked around for a moment, then called over a passing Chunnin. "Please deliver a message to the Kage for me would you? I believe my leaing in a hurry will go by well enough with him. Tell him I've gone to the aid of another village, and tell him this man's story, I believe you've heard most of it haven't you?"
The chunnin nodded.
"Good. If need be, send a carried pigeon my way and we can stay in contact. I suggest sending other squads out as well, but for now I will escort this man back to his village. That is all."
With that, the chunnin bowed slightly, and dashed away, leaping from roof top to roof top as quickly as he could to the Kages office.
"Well then! Everything seems in order my friend. If you would lead the way." Kai raised a brow to Syn as well, and smiled again. "You coming along? Or...?"

The robed figure in front of him bowed respectfully to both Jounin as Syn half way himself returned in kind. The man then immediately began to speak saying, “You see, my village has suddenly become visible to everyone and unprotected anymore. My village is near Kusamuragakure and can be seen from a far stance from the village itself. We are a peaceful people who frown upon violence... but we are unable to protect ourselves and are seeking help from your village. Would you help my people?”
"My name is Kaishi Senshi, and I'd be glad to help." Kai looked around for a moment, then called over a passing Chuunin. "Please deliver a message to the Kage for me would you? I believe my leaving in a hurry will go by well enough with him. Tell him I've gone to the aid of another village, and tell him this man's story, I believe you've heard most of it haven't you?"
Almost as soon as Kaishi began to speak, Syn had become lost in a reverie of sorts, sorting out all possible scenarios as he usually did and thinking over what kind of people the village would need protecting from. As he dove deeper and deeper into his own sub consciousness Syn became fully aware that he had forgotten to respond when Kaishi spoke to him. His eyes looking up at Kaishi he said, ”Why of course”, before turning to the robed man and calmly stating, “Synyster Kenshou at your service”.
Upon those words, Syn stepped to follow both men wherever they happened to go off to as he himself knew not what village the robed figure spoke of and apparently neither did Kaishi. Syn had a long road ahead of him and he could not wait.

Synyster is approved for plot missions. If both of you would request the plot missions now, you can begin!
