Personality: Xion is quiet, and polite when he speaks, his voice often no louder than the waterfall against the earth, though even he can be a bit of a mystery regarding the intentions behind his actions. However, one can often tell what he's thinking just by looking at his face, whether a sullen and solemn expression to notify that he is feeling sad, or a light and cheerful smile to illuminate the darkness when he is happy.

One of the most noticeable traits within his personality is that he appears to follow a very strict set of "codes" that he put together, the first being "Regret not, and soar through the skies."

Another noticeable trait he is occasionally unresponsive to the voice of another person, though this is easily remedied with a gentle hand being placed upon his shoulder, or even a gentle nudge.

A third trait is he can cling sometimes, often following someone, sometimes without ever realizing that this is an issue, which can lead to various situations. This seems to go hand-in-hand with his supposed "lost puppy" syndrome.

Overall, Xion is generally kind and willing to assist others with any task, no matter how big or small. Because of this, he's often attempting to make friends with those around him. However, even under his kind words, if any, and his actions, there is something else, something dark, something that may only be seen when he is no longer in control, though what it may be, even he does not know.

Surprisingly, however, deep beneath the surface, Xion is an incredibly fragile soul, only a few things, shockingly small, astoundingly simple, and easy to find out, being enough to send him into various states of mind such as sorrow, wrath, and other dark states.

Likes: Making friends, first and foremost, is his favorite thing to do, seeing as he doesn't say much, and appreciates those who are kind enough to have the patience to hear him out, even if he has nothing to say.
Secondly, Xion likes simplicity, being that it doesn't require much effort, and can be done in a timely manner, though on occasion he does take to the finer things in life, which to him appear to be more complicated.
His third favorite thing to do is fishing, which often allows him a quiet place and a simple "fix" to any requirement of food.

Dislikes:  Xion does not like being treated like a dog, even if he does occasionally act like one.In addition, he can't stand being ignored, often resulting in a mistaken action which leads to conflict, which is another thing he holds disdain for due to the number of times it has been complicated by explanation. However, if there is one thing that Xion was forced to say he hated, it would be the simple fact that he may be unable to "add up" to what others can, and the thought alone is enough to send him on a tangent of training to unprecedented extremes if needs be.

Motivation:  To regret nothing, and live simply. Even as he may attempt to become stronger over time, his ultimate goal is to find peace, and to have nothing holding him back from that peace, though if that peace is disrupted, he will do what means necessary to restore it, if at all possible. However, sometimes, he has ulterior motives, motives that, at least to some, seem a bit off, strange, however these motives often change depending on the situation.

Fears:  Fear is something that Xion does not often comprehend, though there has been multiple cases where he's found himself having nightmares, ones where his friends are all gone, dead, and he is left alone to face what he refers to as a "dark beast of the abyss." What this monster is, he doesn't know, and is quite afraid to find out. He also appears nervous in front of crowds, as if worried that he may come under attack, and become overwhelmed. His darkest fear, however, is that someone he cares for, or even loves, may get hurt from his actions, even killed, all because of him. This is something he avoids like a plague, hurting those he cares for, as it is a pain that he feels he could never wash from his hands.

History:  As far back as Xion can remember, he's always been quiet, always around people, though often they didn't realize he was there until he finally spoke a greeting or even a suggestion. Because of this, people always seemed to be surprised by his "sudden" arrival, or even his "disappearing act." Even as months passed of him trying to make himself more noticeable, sometimes wearing a bright color or two, or even just being loud and attempting to speak more, he always seemed to fade more and more into the background, though still kind to those who did take notice of his existence.

After some time, he eventually joined the academy to hone what few skills he had, and even learn some new ones, however, even to his astonishment, he became more noticeable just by being in the academy. This kind of treatment, though progressive and slow, was new to him, and over time, he'd finally come to accept even those who had been cold to him in the past.

At the age of twelve, an age he remembers clearly, he finally developed a sense of establishment, as if he had come to a successful foundation of his identity, and from there he finally began to become more outgoing, more attentative to those who would speak to him, and before long, even with his polite manner which had been developed by his training, he had come to begin his friendship with some of the villagers, even after graduating from the academy some months later, when he began his own training in the styles of hand-to-hand combat.

Even as time seemed to pass him by, Xion always seemed to find himself in interesting situations from time to time, more often than not of the peaceful kind, though at the same time still something to be remembered, even if it were a simple mistake of even a major mishap. Oftentimes it was like a dream, and usually not really worth remembering at all, though to Xion, especially with many sleepless nights, day faded into weeks, weeks into months, months into years, that is, until his seventeenth birthday, in which he had decided to brace himself more for the coming world, as though it were a beast to be defeated, though his intent was clear, to simply better himself, or even to obtain some degree of peace in the event that a war broke out for some reason or another.

RP Sample:  Xion stood in the center of the glade, the wind slow, the sky as pure and clear as the water in the river and waterfall, the light of the sun reflecting off the green grass like waves as the wind made it sway to and fro, though time itself seemed to slow to a stop as Xion's eyes opened, a look of purest determination within them, a flame of hope, the spark that would now set everything in motion.

"It's time..."


Even with such a short phrase, and the fire in his eyes, there was a chill in those words as the wind slowly moved. Xion's body moved as well. His left hand slowly outstretched forward, his arm bent only slightly to give room for motion, his palm facing his right, though his right hand was clenched tightly in a fist, arm bend closely as he held it to his side, his feet just beyond shoulder's width, knees bent, bringing him close to the ground, a stance that tuned Xion's balance with that of the ground. His first strike would be a straight punch with his right arm shooting forth while his left retracted, and would soon be followed closely with a hook from the left, all the while his feet carried him forward in a somewhat quick progression. The hook was soon followed by bringing the same arm around, and then down in a blur, as if chopping a piece of wood with his forearm, the momentum being just enough to let him flip forward, and soon, his attacks became strung together like an assault, becoming incrementally more fluid and dynamic. The assault on his invisible target soon became to intense that it bordered on the beautiful, his attacks coming one after the other, leaving no room to retaliate, an overpowering essence until finally it came to a sudden stop as the last attack, a sweep of the leg, brought all the momentum to a halt, the breeze created causing a bit of grass to sway some distance away.

I think... that's as fast as I can go for now... He thought to himself, the look in his eyes showing a degree of disappointment, though the determination remained.
