Mission:

It was an early morning when Sylvanas had received the mission. Her sensei, dressed in a drab of all black handed her a document, which possessed the initial requirements for her objective. They stated 'We've received numerous reports of a band of animal poochers going outside and kidnapping wild animals and doing who knows with them. It's time to put an end to that, we're sending you in to stop this. Reports indicate there are at least 6 of the poochers camped outside the ice caverns, plotting their next move. We need them incapacitated within the next day or two, detained and the animals they have captured freed, Good luck.'

She read them swiftly after peeling back the seal, and got on her way immediately. If there was one thing Sylvanas couldn't stand, it was people who had a disrespectful authority on nature and its inhabitants. She ran for what seemed like hours from the gates of the village, finally making it to the bordering area of the Ice Caverns where the poachers were reportedly located last. The intel was correct in terms of their location, but she had only been able to count four poachers around a makeshift campfire, the large caves behind them stretching upward for what could have seemed like a mile. Sylvanas wondered what the hell made drinking so much fun, as on her last mission, she had an escort that had been doing the same thing, and it was also their undoing. Sylvanas knew very well the effects alcohol took on the body.

Alcohol enters the bloodstream as soon as the first sip is taken, and its immediate effects can appear within about ten to fifteen minutes after the first consumption. As an individual woul drink, their blood alcohol concentration level, the amount of alcohol present in the blood stream, increased rapidly with each following sip. The higher the blood alcohol concentration in a persons body, the more impaired they become by its effects. An individual has reduced inhibitions, slurred speech, motor impairment, confusion, memory problems, concentration problems, respiratory issues which can complicate stamina during combat, and can even inhibit a person to think rationally, often resulting in violent outbursts and behavior. Because of this, it  interferes with the brain’s communication pathways, and can affect the way the brain looks and works. These disruptions can change the thought pattern of a person and make it harder to think clearly and move with coordination.  

Sylvanas quickly thought of a way to take out the initial enemies without killing them, but it involved a very risky initiative to expose herself completely. She thought for a brief period of time and eventually came to the conclusion that this was the only way to subdue the poachers before her. Acting quickly, she sprung from the tree she had been sitting on the whole time, scaling the area and scanning for possible signs of traps. Landing smoothly in the center of the four poachers, they had been caught off guard by the entrance made, causing each of them to either stand up or fall off of their poorly crafted wooden stools. Since Sylvanas had studied Medical Ninjutsu, she possessed a very detailed knowledge of the human physiology, having a great enough understanding of it that she could disable an opponent with acupuncture by hitting a precise point on the body with a thin projectile such as a senbon to cause immediate death, or paralyzation to replicate as such.

Sylvanas quickly used movement prediction method training to her advantage, analytically memorizing the patterns of the poachers body movement. Throwing four senbon at the necks of the men, three of them had been successful, the fourth being dodged by the quicker of the group. Ducking, he charged Sylvanas forthward with all of his might, his blade now unsheathed and headed straight for her midsection. Sylvanas moved to the left about a third of a degree in terms of angles, just enough to let the blade swiftly make its way through the intended path the poacher wanted to go, effectively missing her entirely. She then took a final senbon, flipping it around in her hand, and once the poacher made his way directly beside her, slammed it into the pressure point she had hit his associates in just moments before, paralyzing him and causing his body to fall limp to the ground.

She heard movement from inside the cave, as the animals began getting rowdy from their sense of things happening outside of the entrance. "What was that? A voice from inside the cave spoke out, echoing in a bellowing tone due to the magnification of size reverbriation, having their voice bounce off of the walls around them. Using this to her advantage, she could tell how close they were to the entrance, and given their position, she could relocate and trap the poachers before they arrived from within the icy caverns. After a brief sprint, she jumped, landing on an icy cliff about thirteen feet east of the entrance, watching and waiting for them to discover the fate of their brethren.

The sky had begun to darken, effectively hiding Sylvanas from the incoming shinobi thanks to a large and dense enough cloud to block out the sun momentarily. She used this to quickly spring two keenly placed chakra wire traps, with a knockout gas tag being held within the direct center of each one. As the poachers approached the entrance to the cave, one spoke out. "Shit! Someone is here Oroboro!" Before they could react, Sylvanas activated the tags, causing a decent amount of gas to fill the cave entrance, effectively knocking out and numbing the nerves of the opponents, rendering their movement to be stopped almost instantly and causing them to fall unconcious as well. Knowing well enough they could truly awake at any time, she eliminated that possibility, walking to them and piercing the pressure point needed to render them almost permanently incapacitated. Having defeated and subdued all of the poachers, it was time Sylvanas moved onto the animals, if still alive, deeper within the cave.

While she walked, the walls were marked with a long series of torches, which lightly and ineffectively illuminated the pathway to the animals within the cave, which, for Sylvanas, was a good thing considering on many ocassions, there had been forks and crevices that could otherwise throw her off track. The animals within soon started making noise, and it only made it that much easier for Sylvanas to locate them. About ten minutes into the cavern, she had walked into what seemed to be a hidden part of the caves, undiscovered by other travelers or cartographers, marked with banners and insignias showing a large black hand. Sylvanas was unsure of what it meant, but she presumed that the poachers had been collecting the animals to further the cause of some unknown group or collaborating tradesmen. She quickly got to work trying to locate a key for the variety of cells before her. Opening drawers, looking behind rocks and torches, she was unsuccessful.

Then out of the corner of her eye, a flash of light sparkled in the distance, reflecting from the light produced by the torches around the spherical cavern. The key had actually been on the ground in front of a cage the whole time, Sylvanas assumed that the remaining two poachers had just locked the lion within the cage up, and upon hearing the clatter going on outside, dropped it by mistake. Pleased with her discovery, she walked to the key, and picked it up from its dusty location, wiping it off. She would look at the animals, hoping that they understood her purpose for being there. "I'm going to free all of you. That is why I am here. Please, do not be frightened or skittish. I will do you no harm." She'd look upon them, smiling. Unlocking the gates one by one, the animals seemed to understand what she was doing, and complied with her loyally. Before leaving the hideout, she ripped a small parchment from a nail hanging on a desk which bore the insignia with the aforementioned black hand on it, folded it, and stuffed it into her waist satchel.

Walking out of the cave, the animals spread out and ran into the icy tundras before them. Sylvanas nodded in approval. She would return home, and hand the parchment over to her superiors, inform them of her findings, and give a highly detailed mission report to her commanding officer, informing him of the location of the poachers and their current status. She was asked to escort a jailor cart from the gates to the encampment and back to retreive the bodies of the incapacitated poachers. She gladly obliged, going with the latter and eventually reaching the site once more. Every single one of the poachers were still knocked out, and Sylvanas noted that they would remain that way until a medical specialist administers proper acupuncture removal on them.

Alright, now that I've seen you do this twice I have to intervene and say something. Missions you want to do have to be approved by your kage before you begin doing them.

In your Kage's office, you will create a topic that will be titled "Xavier's Missions" and in that topic, you will roleplay out with your Kage requesting a mission, getting it approved, taking the mission, and then returning to the office and posting again to turn in the mission for your reward. The steps for this are below." ~Shinobi Guidelines.

Now I will not make you redo the mission however for future reference make sure you apply for the mission first. Carry on.
