Village News
The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

It was a morning like any other, but unlike most this day heralded a change. A young man was on a quest, and he would not stop until he accomplished it. This mission was far to important to him to give up on, it was the only thing he ever wanted, ever needed so badly. The only person he ever wanted to find, to search for and to return. So he ventured from the village he called home, Tsukigakure, on his epic journey to rescue his little sister. Sakigake would not be swayed, could not be stopped and would never give up. This was his mission, and he had held onto hope far too long to give it up now.

He trudge over a hill, looking towards the distant horizon, not sure where he should start his search today. Though he felt that the mountains he could see off in the distance, with what appeared to be a small town hugging the base of it would be as good a place as any to start. He began to head in that direction, his eyes scanning the area on all sides, hoping to catch a glimpse of who knew what that might be a clue.

Most people would call Saki crazy, and that this mission of his was pure insanity. It had been six years since his sister had been taken from is family. Six years. In that time she would probably have been killed, or else made to do horrible things. In six years there was no chance that he would find her. Most people would agree that he was crazy to even bother trying. Then again, most people never went through this ordeal, wherein hope is all one has to hold onto. Saki cared nothing for what most people said, nor what they called him or believed about him. This was his only goal in his otherwise bland and boring life of self exile. Saki would find his sister, or die trying. There were no alternatives in his minds eye, and nothing would ever change his course.

As Saki gained ground and could see the town growing before him a strange sense of calm overtook him, and he nearly smiled, despite the severity of this quest of his. He frowned as he approached the outskirts, and skirted around the small town a little, scouting it out a little before he would enter. The area intrigued him, as did it's proximity to the mountain range he truly intended to search. He would use this town as his base of operations while he trekked through the mountains, getting his supplies here before heading up the peaks. From where he stood Saki could see many cave mouths, perfect for dwelling in. Saki nodded once, and entered the town, heading toward it's markets, searching for the required supplies to ascend the mountains beyond.

Blood flew all over the elderly stone walls, several blots of paint-like red coloring the darkened surrounding. Anxious screams and desperate cries pierced through the night, as one man stood hovering in the air above a beautiful kitchen table, his neck wringed into a thin coil, unable to emit from his voice aside from the most basic mammalian sounds. Numerous droplets of crimson liquid spilled from his caved-in abdomen; his reddened eyes enlarging as if they were going to pop right out of his eye sockets. As the man's legs flailed around wildly, the red eyes of a bred murderer who just broke out of her mascara staring blankly at the poor, suffocating, dying bastard.

Young Amelia's eyes flashed wide opened in a familiar panic, beads of sweat wetting her forehead as her fingers twitched uncontrollably, as if they were moving their own mini-seizure. She let out pants and huffs. She clapped her hands together as she tried to regain control of her breathing, to some avail, and eventually her hands stopped jittering altogether. In a dim room of a run-down local motel, Amelia found herself reassured that she was now, still - and forever will be, free. But yet an ominous, foreboding gut instinct told her that she was not a free human being, and that she was not yet freed from her past. She covered her chest with her arms, the tragic memory fading away already. It wasn't exactly uncommon for her to have this occurrences during the other side of her consciousness that she knew nothing about - having been largely uneducated in anything outside of being employed as a "trump card".

She got up from her dinky bed, wearing nothing but a ripped white T-shirt and panties. She had been fortunate to garner what little clothing fitted her and the sufficient amounts of ryo all in a small suitcase. And equally fortunate that she found a place where the people running the place are actually kind and compassionate. She went in for a shower, allowing her sweat to drip away with the low-quality water that ran down her virgin, sinful body. There were five scars, no, wounds on the back of her immature body. On top of that, there were lacerations on her thighs and a word written on her chest like a scar using some kind of blade or whatever - "PIG".

After brushing her teeth, Amelia dressed herself in an innocent, pure-white small dress. Some of Amelia's perdy skin glowed smoothly where the strap and breast-cups with a tie are. Her skirt ran down almost to where her knees where. Flattening out her head with her hands, she smoothed out her pretty bangs. Her light, amethyst-colored eyes stared down at the floor of the failure of a room she only had the luxury of sleeping in for two nights. Her head hung down, she stared, motionlessly, for almost a good minute, before she put on her straw hat that covered her bangs, and headed right out the door.

She joined in on the crowd, fitting in with her small, unnoticeable stature as her feet paced normally towards her destination. She had found a very perculiar, a very familiar, and a seemingly fun place to be in. She didn't know what it was exactly, but there were children of  her age and she might have actually been in one once - somewhere in the depths of the oceans of her memories. She stopped at a gate, with a big sign on it.

"P...Pah", Amelia sounded out. The first thing she said all day.
"Paahh....erk". She was getting closer now. "P-Park", she pronounced, successfully. Walking into the gates, she found herself a seat. Hardly anyone was around that wasn't in the playground. Three kids about her age were building sandcastles, with two parents supervising. One of the kids broke out in a run around the swing-set as their parent chased them around, the joyous laughter of youth bouncing off of every air molecule until it reached Amelia's ears. F-fun....nyy... she thought. They so happy. Her eyes glowed momentarily, as a faint image of a young man flashed before her. Happy! Perhaps if she were younger... perhaps if she threw herself through a time tunnel and into a world previous to the strange life she's living now, perhaps she could let out such happiness from her mouth too. Not knowing what to do really, she just found herself sitting on the bench, with her hands on her lap, her head glancing over to the side.....
