Its been months since ,Isais has been allowed to train. Ever since his great battle with Tenzou Shichiyou, he has been under chakra suppression pills and heavy surveillance. His body had taken a serious beating and after some surgery and rehab he has been finally restored to full capacity. So, Isais took the opportunity to schedule a training session with his best friend, Xavier Deventris. The idea is to see how much movement he has lost, to reshape and sharpen his resolve, and to finally realize the fullness of his power without the pressure of time. Isais would gear up just like old times. Ninja belt on his waste, black slim fit shirt with no sleeves, black ninja pants, blue hair tied back, with his pop top jacket. He would wear Abbadon on his right hands covered with his special hand wraps. Shiringu Taijustu would also wrap up his left hand and his village headband tied around his forehead. He would leave to the designated location awaiting the arrival of today’s training partner. The place is the only location where Isais can let his power run wild. A dangerous location where many intruders came and perished instantly. Only the elite has been known to visit this place, and anything else would be lucky to leave alive , the outskirts.

It would seem the time had come for Isais to finally enter the next stage in his recovery. For one being bedridden for such a long time it's hard to imagine that they retained all their strengths throughout, though they would find out soon enough. Xavier had been summoned to meet Isais in one of the most dangerous areas of Hyougagakure, many didn't dare to venture to the outskirts and those who did and weren't prepared for what was to come perished, it made sense as to why Isais choose this area as the spot for this training. Xavier donned his usual attire consisting of his captain's jacket, blackish brown pants, boots, Ember Meteor strapped to his wrists, and Nuibari branding his back. If anything he knew that today was going to be an interesting day, tiring, but interesting. He made his way out to the outskirts to the desired meeting place. As he bounded from roof to roof he pondered a little, he was concerned for his friend's health but at the same time Isais' strength and endurance was on an unimaginable level. Xavier would shake the thought from his head "if he believes he's strong enough then I'm down". It would take a bit of time before Xavier would arrive at their meeting place, Isais was already present. Xavier would put on a smile and throw up a hand at his friend as he approached him "Yo!".

Isais would raise his head and find Xavier waving at him.  He would smile as Xavier approaches and wave back at him. Xavier looked as ready as he’s ever been; carrying an air of confidence fitting of a captain. Though Isais had been doing little to no intensive training in the last six to seven months, there has been great talk about Xavier’s transformation. Since Xavier put that nail in Tenzou’s coffin, he’s been breaking through new levels in his life and training. This makes the perfect training partner for Isais.  “ Are you ready for today’s session? The sun is coming up so lets not waste any time, right?”  Isais would then grow quiet for a few moments, as he would then focus in on his friend, but opponent of the day. He would do his best to analyze him from his distance.  

A feature taught to him by his mother, the niece of Aeneas Soriano.  A cautious approach to a confrontation is to analyze the field, distance, and the opponent. He would calculate a fair distance of about twenty-five feet between him and Xavier. Xavier would be wearing his shooters, which, Isais remembers from his last time they collided, during his fourth tail training.  Isais during the silence would be in thought. Normally, Isais would have already finished his analysis but being out of practice for so long seems to have taken its evident toll on his confidence.  {Gotta watch out for those things. Quick heavy hitting shooters; let’s see what else he’s wearing. Captain’s jacket with enough room to store projectile weapons, and whats with the giant sowing needle on his back?} As Isais’ thoughts would go, he would receive an answer from the oldest member on the field, the always forgotten but never absent, Gobi no Ei.   Ei would answer Isais: that weapon does exactly what it looks so don’t be reckless.  Itll attach you to whatever it pierces through.  By the way…. The sun’s coming up: Just as Ei mentioned this to Isais , he would quickly reach into his weapon holder and pull out a rainbow kunai. The pull was similar to the way an inexperienced samurai would pull out a katana. Reason being is so that the rising sun would shine off of the blade of the kunai, causing a blinding effect from the amplified reflection of the sun’s glow. As he would pull it out he would release it, aiming for the upper right shoulder of Xavier. It would rush at him like a beam of light. Once released, Isais would roll towards his left side and then rush towards his opponent.  As he closed in about 20 feet, he would unnoticeably stiffen his right index finger and middle finger.  It’d be in this erect position for about a second as Isais would stand and wait towards the left side hoping to be about 10ft from Xavier, depending on his reaction to the attacks. Once within range he would begin his hand seals while analyzing his opponent’s response.

He saw his friend wave back in return as he noticed his arrival and he immediately wanted to get things started, typical of this one. He might of been bedridden all this time but that didn't mean Isais wasn't a formidable opponent. Xavier would stop walking as Isais fell silent, as if he need say no more, the battle had begun. With paranoia ringing through his head, Xavier would activate Ember Meteor and stand ready for anything. Time seemed to pass more slowly as the two faced each other, it was only when Isais reached to draw an item when Xavier would jump back another 10 feet or so, wary of a trap beneath his feet. Instead he'd drawn something that appeared to be a kunai, though it was extremely bright and hard to make out. He could still see Isais at least and he noticed a throwing motion. He would roll to his left and out of the way of the incoming projectile, to his luck it would fly past him and land in the snow behind him. Isais was on the move and Xavier would be prepared, Isais was closing the game between them fairly quickly for one who had been lounging around for the past few months. Xavier would rise to his feet and fire off two shots, one right after the other, directly toward the incoming figure. Xavier was aware that Isais would attempt to dodge the attack however that time would give him a chance to prepare handseals.

Isais had thrown forth his rainbow kunai as a distraction so that he can close in on his opponent. Xavier being very savvy when it comes to weapon combat and being very familiar with the way Isais does combat would be wise enough to jump back another ten feet creating about 30ft of space between him and Isais. Xavier’s move to the left allowed him to be directly in front of Isais while he was closing in fast. Xavier’s decision to make distance was the right one, but it happened prematurely. Xavier would make distance and successfully dodge the rainbow kunai thrown at him, but Isais would still close in on him about ten feet as mentioned above.  It’s possible that Xavier would’ve done well to roll aside then create distance. Alas Xavier fires his shots and the trap is triggered due to the range between them being about 15ft. Although their shadows are not connected the terrain provides the max 15ft that Isais needs. Xavier would be engulfed in a heavy coat of water as Isais would complete his hand seals and release his liquid hydra technique to have one of the hydras crash into the incoming shots fired earlier. The hydras would stand high in front of Xavier who is more than in range for a full on assault. Isais would hold off on the hydras to see what Xavier would do, “ Check mate?”

Xavier stood erect as his friend had immediately backed him into a corner and called checkmate signaling the end of the spar almost as soon as it had begun. Xavier would smile and raise his hands in the air "That was just the warm up y'know? How about we start the real rounds?". Xavier would put his hands down as he thought on the situation, Isais may have been laying around for a long time but Xavier was no better, he was just as rusty as Isais or rather he was rustier than him as he clearly demonstrated. Everything happened quite rapidly which only reinforced the thought that his guard should be up at all times regardless of what he saw. Xavier now awaited for Isais to relax so that he could ready himself for the next battle, steady charging chakra while he did.

Isais would hear Xavier’s response right before he is completely engulfed by the heavy waters. He would smile at Xavier who now seems more determined than ever to give it his best shot.  Isais would smile and walk back to about ten more feet to give his opponent 20ft of distance.  Once enough distance was made he would release the technique, allowing Xavier to breathe and move freely. Isais would stand there staring at Xavier once more with a wicked smile, watching him to see what his next move would be. As he stood there the hydras would rage around him making lots of noise and focusing solely on the opponent. “ You ready? Don’t hold back, how else would you get better?” The moment, Isais felt that Xavier was ready; Isais would have the hydras rush towards him smashing at the ground. He would do this to have the hydras absorb water and grow to max length of 150 ft. At this size this technique gives Isais a very dangerous advantage. It’ll take nothing for him to reach Xavier now, and with that he would have these hydras lash out at him. Hydra number one would attempt to swallow, Xavier whole, coming at him from the front. Hydra 2 would charge from the left and Hydra 3 from the right, but hydra 4 and 5 stand tall 2 feet in front of the user. Isais does his best to try and keep visual on Xavier as he would speak, “Well its about time we turn things up. Its not everyday that I get to stretch my powers.”

Xavier was released from the water trap and he gratefully inhaled a vast amount of the air around him, dropping to a knee as he did so. Recovering, he would rise and stand prepared for the battle. Isais was a good 20ft away again but the main issue were the giant Hydras that surrounded him. Xavier heard him say not to hold back but at this point even Xavier knew he couldn't do that. Time would pass slowly and then finally the attack came, the hydras would launch forward, growing in size as they did so (Oh yeah! 'Cause that's fair). The hydras would close in on his position rapidly however he was ready, he would perform the single handseal needed to get himself out of dodge. He would seemingly disappear from his current position and the hydras would ram into each other. Xavier would appear behind Isais in a moments notice, he hadn't moved from his spot which gave Xavier the chance to make a move in his blind spot. With the hydras facing the same direction as Isais it would give him a small chance before he realized what had happened. Pouring chakra into his body, lightning would engulf his person and he would strike Isais in his right shoulder. As his fist collided with his shoulder he would fire another slug as well, the impact from such a close range could possibly cause some serious damage to his arm as well as launch him an extra 15ft away. Xavier would jump back an extra 15ft away himself, the last thing he needed was those hydras whipping around and putting a hurting on him. He would continue to mold his chakra as he surveyed his work.

Xavier gaining his breath had waited until the last possible minute to body flicker out of the way of the incoming hydras. It was then, that Isais discovered a flaw in one of his favorite jutsu.  Because of the massive size of the hydras, he really couldn’t tell if Xavier was hit or not. To him, Xavier was standing still and didn’t do much moving out the way, but what really happened was that his opponent had used the size of the hydras to do his hand seal. The technique executed would allow him to get from point A to B at a fast rate which, Isais would have been able to keep up with had the collision of the three hydras not been a huge spectacle of clashing water. Also due to Isais’ poor placement of his hydras, Xavier managed to enter the six-foot distance that the hydras provide Isais and deliver a lightning infused punch reminiscing of the flank maneuver done on Tenzou.  The opponent’s move was a success; the punch would make contact with Isais’ right shoulder. The electric charge and the initial punch didn’t have much effect on Isais.  The B rank punch hurt but wasn’t enough to cause serious damage, rather it would alert Isais of his opponent’s whereabouts. The electric charge since aimed at the shoulder would not make contact with skin, instead it would make contact with, Isais’ pop top jacket. That would prevent any numbness of electrical burns that could’ve occurred. Had the punch been directed a little lower it would have done some serious damage or paralyze, Isais ‘ arms for a few moments because of the full sleeved gauntlet made of metal that are attached to his biceps and lower.  Though the punch had given away, Xavier’s location, Isais still couldn’t react in time to stop the release of kinetic energy that would reinforce the punch causing more pain to his shoulder and send him flying forcefully for fifteen feet.

While in mid air, Isais would use his left hand to grab his right shoulder, causing him to twist in the air having his back facing the ground. He would almost immediately bring his knees to his chest using the momentum to execute a low back flip to land feet first in a crouching position.  The force would continue dragging him back as the hydras that are forced by the jutsu structure to remain six feet away and protect Isais from all sides.  This time the hydras would be facing different directions and only one would be facing Xavier. Once Isais reached fifteen feet his momentum would slow down and he would remain stationary. He remained kneeled with his left hand caressing his right shoulder. He’d keep his eye on Xavier once more while rotating his shoulder, attempting to pacify the pain and regain some feeling back into that shoulder.  The move was enough to get , Isais’ adrenaline pumping a bit harder than before. “ Well that’s one way to wake up”, Isais would say, as he would wait for Xavier’s next move. “ I nearly forgot that a move like that actually exists. Such a low ranking move but when used in a combo like yours can be very effective. I’ll even admit that if you had wanted to, you could’ve knocked me out with a move like that.  You really have improved.” Isais would open and close his right hand one moment, and the next the 30ft of distance between him and his opponent would be covered within seconds by the fast moving 150ft hydras. While the one in front of Isais began his forward assault, Isais would rush through a series of hand seals. The other hydras would remain on guard ready to attack Xavier at the first sight of him coming near from four sides. It took, Isais a few seconds to complete his hand seals, and once completed five stone soldiers would appear from the ground. These stone soldiers stood about eight feet tall and weighed in at three hundred pounds. These soldiers resembled samurai and were ready for orders. Isais would jump back from a crouching position, into a stone soldier that would open it up and then seal Isais inside itself.

Xavier is naturally not fast enough to completely avoid contact from the attacking hydra, but that was only a distraction to hide, Isais in one of the five stone soldiers.  From then these soldiers would all charge forward along with the five hydras to initiate an attack on Xavier.  Hydra one would continue in pursuit of Xavier swerving and diving around with its mouth wide open attempting to take a decent bite. While this would happen stone soldier number one would appear behind Xavier, in what we might refer to as his blind spot and attempt to deliver a solid punch down the center of Xavier’s spine. Stone Soldier number two would be on the move with a follow up. Depending on how he’d respond to hydra one and stone soldier one, stone soldier two would come in from the left with a right leg spin round house kick. The speed of these soldiers was much slower than that of the hydras. Because of their weight and stone like structure they would move at about C rank speed but do very adequate damage if contact was made.  As stone soldier number two would come at Xavier with the spin round house kick, hydra number two would come from the front, right of Xavier as a follow up if he made it past the onslaught of the first stone soldier and hydra. Hydra number two’s mouth would be wide open hoping to capture Xavier if he dodges stone soldier number two’s attacks inappropriately.  Stone soldier number two would commit to his spin round house kick regardless of the situation but if it missed it would follow up with a left leg spin hook kick aimed at head level.

Incase Xavier got passed both attack sequence number one and two he would have to go up against stone soldier number three who is on the move.  This one would have a surprise brute like approach.  If Xavier would make it out of the second series of attacks he would meet stone soldier number three who would attempt to grab him from the legs and deliver a three hundred pound spine buster to the hard ice covered floor. This grappling attack would most likely cause cracks on the ground while Hydra number three would carelessly dive full force down on both the stone soldier and Xavier assuming that the stone soldier successfully pins him down.  Because of the speed in which everything is happening it would be unexpected and nearly impossible for Xavier to avoid all the incoming attacks. His best option is to confront them and handle them appropriately. If Xavier were to pull an upset and overcome all three onslaughts he would find a ten second opening to get close to Isais before the hydras and whatever remaining stone soldiers regroup. He would find two giant hydras on guard. Hydra numbers four guarding the left and back as hydra number five guarding the front and right.  In between the two hydras are the two other stone soldiers. Stone soldier number four is standing near hydra number five and stone soldier number five is standing near hydra number four.  Both stone soldiers are looking out for Xavier. Inside one of the two stone soldiers, Xavier could find Isais and inside the other is what seems like a paper bomb on the inside ready to detonate at will. Xavier would have one shot at hitting the right soldier before the hydras would catch him. If he choses wrong the corresponding hydra will capture him for sure due to the trap being set. If he choses right Isais would probably take some damage giving Xavier a chance to avoid the corresponding hydra.  This fun risk , is Isais way of testing  Xavier’s deductive reasoning under pressure.  What would Xavier do? Will he even make it that far?

Xavier would take a shallow breath, the small little evasive maneuver had kept him in the game but he wasn't out of dodge just yet, his challenge had only just begun and he needed to keep pushing. After managing to distance himself from Isais, Xavier would begin completing a series of handseals and launch a stream of chakra infused with both fuuton and katon forward which would form itself into a large tornado. The two chakras complimenting each other would help boosts its ability. As he did so Isais would have his Hydra launch forward at him, Whether or not the Hydra choose to avoid or take on the tornado, it would slow down its pace if only a little. Not only was the hydra a problem but he could also make out stone soldiers closing in on him as well. They weren't exactly the fastest bunch but if they were to get their hands on him it could spell trouble. He would have to time every move perfectly if he wanted to come out on top in this ordeal, building up chakra he would wait for his moment. One soldier had managed to get behind him, even so it was an obvious and predicted move which would work out to his advantage. As the Hydra and the 2nd soldier came in for their attacks Xavier would disappear in a puff of smoke, now present where the soldier once stood behind Xavier and the Hydra as well as Soldiers one and two would all collide together. Taking this opportunity, Xavier would move clear of that chaos and survey the area, staying on guard at all times. Isais was missing, which was bad, perhaps hidden behind those soldiers. Xavier would rush forward in an attempt to get close, however more obstacles made themselves present. The third soldier closed in fast and was clearly making a grab for him. Xavier drew out Nuibari and as the soldier went for his legs he would jump up and over, stabbing the soldier threw the back of the head, straight through. After landing he would immediately start running, he had no idea that the third Hydra had coordinated its attack with the soldier and was rushing in to collide on its position he only knew that it was present and it was a threat so he would clear the area as fast he could. Colliding head first into the dirt, Xavier was now faced with the daunting task of two more Hydras and soldiers, there was no end to them. Standing a good 45 ft from his objective, Xavier would complete another set of handseals causing 4 clones to appear at his sides. If this went well enough he'd have the opportunity to get to Isais directly. The clones would disperse, two per hydra, they would charge at both hydras in the hopes that they would see them as threats and attack. Whilst the clones set to work so too did Xavier, forming the kneaded raiton chakra into a singular spear. Just from looking it would seem he would be forced to aim for one target, however that wouldn't be the case. Launching the spear at the duo of stone soldiers, it would soar through the sky at a decent speed. As they came into close proximity the spear would separate itself into 3 different spears allowing for both soldiers to be pierced, the third would land in the dirt harmlessly and dissipate. Xavier would wait and see how his progression played out, if anything Isais would have to move out from behind the soldiers, if he was even there in the first place. Griping Nuibari, he would wait patiently attempting to recollect himself.

Isais would watch Xavier move quickly through the tough situation that he had set for him. After having to go through a barrage of attacks, Xavier was left with only a few options. His options were to either attack the stone soldier facing the battle or to attack the one facing the opposite way. Instead of choosing just one, Xavier would form a spear made of raiton and throw it at the remaining stone soldiers. In mid flight this spear would split into three different spears, one for each stone soldier and one down the middle. This left , Isais no choice but to try and catch the surprise attack.  The stone soldier facing the battle would get up and arrogantly attempt to catch the spear of lightning. The spear came from a far distance at great speed. But because of its distance the stone soldier would be able to catch it. The force of the incoming spear would drag the heavy stone soldier back 3 ft, but the lightning would start to disintegrate the stone, revealing Isais' hand now holding the spear that was inches away from being logged into the top part of his left shoulder.  Meanwhile the other stone soldier would shatter and the trap would not trigger.  The spear of lightning would dissipate and Isais' arm would go numb from the shock and electrical charge of the raiton element. Isais would look at his light hand and then at Xavier.  Isais would raise his right hand, “  heh, guy kills an emperor, and he becomes a monster combatant. Not bad dude, I'm impressed. There's no need for me to try to win anymore because I've already gauged how this would go end. You're  head to head combat prowess is definitely up there with the best of them, but now we need to make you into a weapon.  You're lacking raw power, which we will be able to obtain soon enough but for now. “ Isais would look back at his left hand as he tries to regain feeling in it. “ Besides, I've been thinking of going on a little campaign but its getting difficult to move, having  both the responsibilities of an emperor and a Fubukikage. I'm starting to understand why the two powers were divided. You've proven yourself today, but I got to go. If you choose to accept my offer and become the new Fubukikage, meet me at the palace tomorrow. “ Isais cancels his jutsus and begins to run off. “ Later bro.”

The attack landed for the most part as one of the stone soldiers took the spear head on; however the second reacted and caught the spear in its hand. The stone began to disintegrate revealing a hand hidden beneath it. Xavier was taken back a little. Instead of hiding behind the soldiers as he had previously thought, Isais had placed himself inside the soldier. The idea was a solid one and would've been effective had Xavier ran charging in like a maniac. Though he knew Isais and he knew how he operated. He would chuckle a bit at the small joke of killing the emperor. As he gave a bit of criticism and a commentary he would release his jutsu before yelling a good bye. Xavier would watch him go before releasing a sigh "that guy is something else". He would sheath Nuibari before placing his hands in his pockets and walking toward the village. He was getting a lot better at holding his ground and Isais was right he lacked in the power department, however he was progressing nonetheless. He had offered him the opportunity of a life time in the form of becoming the next kage. His decision wasn't a decisive one but he would make a choice soon enough.
