Personality: Latus is generally selfish, but sees himself in the right to be so. He feels that everyone should do things for themselves, and not for others. Acts of charity, expressions of sadness towards the weak, are nothing but bad choices that play out bad for both parties in the end. Latus even said once that people should only be in it for themselves because it is human nature, helping out the weak is no better than a handicap. Everyone should work hard for what they have, and not be given out hand outs, unless it benefits themselves in some way.

Latus also has a short fuse, he does not tolerate foolish behavior in front of him. Acts of buffoonery, childishness, silly antics, he looks down on heavily. Sometimes, he may resort to acts of violence himself, if pushed to the limit. However, with this fault, comes its pros. This shirt fuse allows him to stay focus on his set goals. He never strays away from his set goal, unless it does not gain him anything in return. Another thing he truly despises, is the feeling of helplessness. He cant stand when others are in control of his life. the mere fact of others dictating and deciding his future, makes him feel as if he is dead.

He is also a control freak too, Latus must always feel as if he has control over a situation, or he will act out to gain either say, or control in the matter. he has always been like this since he was a little boy. His upbringing made him develop this kind of habit.  

Likes:
Latus loves to be in control of any situation that he is in, he hates to be kept out of the loop of things. Above anything else, maintaining control is key. He feels weak if he has no grip on a problem. another thing that he likes is order among his person. His apartment, his tools, down to the last shuriken, is all arranged and neat. Aside from his personal items, keeping order in his setting is another big thing. Order comes after control, as they both go hand in hand. Lastly, he loves to keep people he can control around him. He tends to like the sense of being idolized, or being obeyed rather. Those he can manipulate can help him achieve his goals.
Dislikes:  
With a great sense of order, Latus does not enjoy buffoonery around him, it is a deep annoyance. he can't stand any childish acts of nonsense. It literally drives him mad. Another thing he cant stand is being controlled by others. Ironic how he tends to love controlling others. He simply cant stand others telling him what to do, he is a man in control of his life, and no one else can tell him others. But really, he developed this when he was a child, during his upbringing.
Motivation: Latus is motivated by his upbringing. To allow those to dictate your life and future, is nothing short of being six feet under.
Fears: Latus fears being ruled by those who he cannot control, he has been like this ever since he was a child. During his upbringing, he was forbidden to learn the secret ways of his clan, due to his family's reputation.  Thus, it was decided that he would never learn his clan's history, or techniques. And to top it all off, he had no say in the matter. Thus, he fears being placed in a situation like that again.

Clan History:  The Hyūga clan is one of the five noble clans of Tsukigakure, the others being: Kyuketsuki, Hachurui, Ookami, and Metarumasuta. All members born into this clan possess the Byakugan, a kekkei genkai that gives them extended fields of vision and the ability to see through solid objects and even the chakra circulatory system, amongst other things, and expel chakra from any of the tenketsu in their body.

While not much is known of the clan's background, they are considered to be one of, if not currently, the most powerful clan in Tsukigakure. Their notoriety and prowess stretches far and wide, leading others to both praise and covet their abilities. During the latest Shinobi World War, an enemy-nin noted that they had a hard time against them during a previous war.

The clan is separated into two parts, the main house (Sōke) and the branch house (Bunke), a system that protects the secrets of the Byakugan from outsiders. The main house runs the family while the branch house protects it. The members of the branch house are branded with a cursed seal upon the third birthday of the heir to the main house. This seal gives the main house members absolute control over the branch members, because they can destroy the branch members' brain cells with a simple hand seal, or cause them great pain to punish them. This seal also makes sure the secret of the Hyūga's Byakugan is safe, because it seals the Byakugan after the wearer of the seal dies. Because they are essentially servants, simply because of their birth order or heritage, some branch house members are hostile to those of the main house.

History: Before Latus became a Genin, he was raised in a low house among the Hyuuga. His family was considered weak, due to off spring his line brought to the clan. Latus, was different.

Being raised in poverty and injustice, Latus hated his kind really. He was never taught any of his clan's techniques or secrets, let alone his history. The reputation of his family, bared most of them from every learning from the Hyuuga elders. This was how Oliver developed the habit of always being in control, and to keep I company only those who can be controlled. Growing up with a sense of loneliness, and with no control over his childhood life, made him change greatly.

Around the time he was ten, successfully completing the academy, he chose to live off the hyuuga reserve. In fact, at a point in time, he , made arrangements to leave the village, but at his current skill set, that was never going to happen. However, his family had actually decided to move from the Tsukigakure for good, due his the clan's disapproval towards them. This worked out to an advantage for Latus, a fresh start. So now, his family lives in Hyougagakure.

A few years later, when he just became a genin, he managed to learn a lot about the criminal mind, and how the criminal underworld worked. Surprisingly, he learned a few habits and knowledge about criminals that made others wondered if he was in fact a criminal. Latus even made a remark as to how it was like learning a whole new culture, a religion. This was a jab towards his Hyuuga clan, since he was never taught about the ways of the hyuuga. So, instead, he continued to learn more and more about the criminal mind.

Now, at the age of 17, Latus is a brilliant detective for village, due to his masterful knowledge of the life of crime. He has solved over a countless murder cases, thief cases too. The more he solved, the more he fell in love, with the life of crime. He currently is working on an international drug case, to figure out where the drugs In his village are coming from. He now feels that it is time for him to move up within the ranks, so that when the time comes, he can be free to pursue his agenda, without much nuisances getting in the way.

 

RP Sample:  
It was silent, the office's roof was covered with smoke that rose from the left over cigar. The door swings open slightly, half way, for the intruder takes a glance towards the desk. He sees an envelop, yellow in color, about the size of a folder really, but as thick as a brick. The greedy intruder walks over with a fast pace, but is left at a halt within 5 feet of the desk. He was not alone. The dormant man lifts his head, his grey hair moves slightly as he sat in the chair, now looking towards the puzzled intruder. He stares intently towards him, eye to to eye with his won pale set of eyes. He sees it all, the bright bluish aura which surrounds that intruder.

"Hello Dobastu...", he says, still keeping eye contact.

At first, the first instinct of the intruder was to run, since the drop off point had been discovered, maybe it was a set up he thought? However, within the yellow envelop, held something he had worked way to hard to let go. The grey haired detective leans forward and places his hand upon the envelop, pushing it forwards, towards the criminal. He leans back, his face still as stone, waiting for the man to act. But, the criminal was a still as stone too, at a lost as to why his captor would do such a thing.

"For me?", the criminal asked with a cracked voice.

The detective nods, but retorts.

"Dobastu, don't you have something for me. I have dinner plans with a maiden?"

The criminal widens his eyes, he couldn't believe what he was hearing, and to how he himself, was so scared at first, for he had been doing this for quite sometime. He walks over, now more calmly, and reaches for the money in the bag, taking it. after which he himself reaches into his coat pocket, and places on the desk a small container, which had liquid contents inside. he walks backwards towards the door, still wary of his contact. Finally, it was all over, the dealer was gone. Our detective reaches over, and grabs the hard metal container, shaking it slightly.

He looks down towards the floor, his eyes seeing through the floorboard, and spectating the lifeless body of the real kingpin.

Now, who was the criminal?
