TELL ME MORE ABOUT YOURSELF!
Personality: Kiyoshi is very quiet and something of a bookworm at first, but once you get him to open up he is very deep. He is a character of many layers, with a nature that borders on that of an anarchist, but training meant to suppress or control any emotion. Due to this he is often found sitting quietly, with a storm of inner conflict beneath the outward calm.
He is very generous, wishing often to feed others before himself. This holds true even when he is being spiteful, which is really quite often. He is very patient due to the persona he had to take as an Osamaru, but he has one feature that makes him differ wildly from what one expects from a member of the clan from which he hails: he is prideful. That pride makes grow irritated with others and the failures of others, which just adds onto the inner storm that is always brewing.
Likes: Kiyoshi likes fragrant things, such as tea or fresh fruit. He greatly enjoys getting lost in a good book. And though he isn't excellent with them, he enjoys playing with knives.
Dislikes: A mess is the type of thing that will most quickly upset Kiyoshi. Scrolls irritate him because a book is so much more orderly. Large animals make him feel antsy and generally agitated.
Motivation: Kiyoshi is motivated by little more than the will to live, and the will to live correctly. He is an ambitious perfectionist who never stops looking for a way to step up from where he is.
Fears: Kiyoshi is afraid of the aforementioned large animals. He is also very uneasy around any wide, open spaces.

It is the mediator's job to listen to these pleas, and do what they can to aide forlorn spirits reach their proper place. TELL ME YOUR PAST!
History: Kiyoshi was a rebellious boy in a home dedicated to peace and order. Try as his parents may, the could never get him to calm down. They could never get him under control. In their home out in the country, he had plenty of room to roam, and he loved it so much. One day, practicing the jutsu of his blood, he accidentally caught the family's shrine on fire. No matter what he said, he could not convince his father that this was an accident, that there had been no malicious intent.
Deciding he didn't have any place in a home that he had defiled, he ran away. He took only an iron pot and one of his father's two razors. Being only twelve at the time, he knew very little about packing for the rest of one's foreseeable future. The knife was so that he could cut branches off of trees, as that was faster than plucking individual leaves. The pot was to hold water, and he knew that he could start a fire. He wanted to be the type of monk who could live off of only tea and water.
Sad as it was predictable, he found that he couldn't live off of tea and water alone. He was humbled, eating dirt and grass, actually getting excited when there was a juicy worm or grub in the mix. By the age of fourteen he found another way to eat that he would only do in self defense. He would occasionally be attacked by a bandit or rouge, and though he couldn't easily overpower a grown man, those without ninjutsu training didn't stand much of a chance. And even a few who appeared to have gone rogue as genin made the mistake of assuming he was unarmed. He would sometimes counter thief the thieves, but refused to kill wittingly. He made the mistake of slashing one's throat and it has never stopped haunting him.
The loneliness would occasionally get to be too much and he would have only the Yokai as his friends. He would do things like using his family's genjutsu on himself when he found a reflective stream as to be able to play childishly again. This didn't make him any type of genjutsu master, but it made him really good at entertaining himself.
Brewing tea and talking to spirits would come to help him much more than his ability to wield a straight razor, much to his surprise. One day he came across a forest that was widely uninhabited. This was Nox Forest. He spent about a week making himself a shelter out of branches and mud, which he was very proud of. It was about the size of a an average bedroom, apart from the low ceiling and lack of windows. He made a carpet of grass and leaves that he would swap out once every three days and there was now berries in his pot. The darkness didn't unsettle him at all, but it was an inconvenience. As the finishing touch of his little mostly mud mansion, he built a fire pit and used his jutsu on a few branches he dropped into the middle of it. He teared up, thinking about his parents and how he'd abandoned them.
At the age of sixteen he became a street performer. He charmed audiences with dancing foxes, seemingly spontaneous combustion on parts of the road where nobody was standing, and spiritual guidance and communications. A young Osamaru was more of a monk than the elderly of most other clans, so he excelled. And his natural showmanship brought in crowds.
The smashing success that he was, he quickly drew in profits. When he had a very sizable amount saved up, he spent it on a nice tea house. There wasn't a lot of space in the city itself, so he had it built in the forest. The mystic should live outside of the city anyway. He used what was left to buy enough tea, table wear, and incense to fill the place for a long time. When he turned nineteen the building was complete, and he decided to find his parents to show them what he had made of himself. He wished he hadn't when he arrived. A neighbor recognized him and believed that she was just having a very powerful moment, speaking to a spirit as if Kiyoshi were really alive. After two years he had been declared dead, and shortly after his parents, first his father, then his mother, took their own lives. Only last week did he return home to his tea shop/home, carrying a cloth bag of things from his old home. It contained: his father's other razor, the seeds from his mother's favorite hibiscus flowers, and a tea pot with the clan name in kanji.
RP Sample: Kiyoshi sat next to a fire of his own creation, reading from a book written by another, and pondering the thoughts of the world. The comfort and pleasure was lulling him ever so softly to sleep, which hadn't been the goal but wasn't that big of a problem either. When the book fell down and slapped him softly in the face he got up and crawled into his makeshift home to sleep more comfortably. Later that night the rain came and ruined his book.
