The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

It was just like any other day, Kakusa: a jounin of Tsukigakure walked on the street heading towards the Oujoukage's office. He was told that a certain artifact was stolen from a faction, though useless was priceless for them. As they insisted upon the matter the kage would be sending two shinobi to retrieve it. Kakusa was going to be one of those two shinobi. It was sad really, someone of his skill being sent for such a trivial mission. Retrieval of a 'sacred' item, was that something a shinobi of his capabilities needed to do? Regardless, he just had to get the details, catch the thied; report a job well done and be done with it; so why not?
He arrived at the building on time and walked right through the Anbu guarding the building. He walked towards the office with the normal evil grin on his face, always looking suspicious and devilish; one could argue that this was his identifying feature. Kakusa knocked at the door and opened it, entering the office. He bowed formally as one would bow to a superior, "I was told you had a mission for me. Can I have the details please?"; his grin widened as he finished his question.
Mission:
Name: Capture the Thief! Difficulty: C Location: Tsukigakure no Sato Reward: 15,000 Ryo Experience: 50 Experience Objective: Catch the thief and bring him in alive. You must retrieve the item safely or the rewards will be forfeit. Description: A thief has stolen a valuable item from the village. This item itself is useless but its age proves it's priceless to a faction village if they were to get their hands on it. You must catch this thief outside your village and stop him by all means.

Sunset orange hair sat peaceful on his head as he leaned on the Kage's wall. It was a odd scene for him to be near the Kage. It wasn't like the two of them were buddy or chummy. Of course, nothing like that, in fact, the orange clad youth was stark difference to the darkness cloak man. If he had to guess, he served the purpose of reassurance. He watched as another strolled in, a evil grin on a spectral face.
"I want to go with him. Anything is better than sitting around the village all day."
He was certain his voice was a surprise and though it lacked none of the tones of a question, it was a given that he needed the permission. Walking up next to man, his arms still and dull orange eyes fiery; Merasu looked straight ahead at the Oujoukage.

Kakusa finally made his way back to the village, the sun has set by now and it was dark. He entered the gates with the thief on his shoulder, tied with a rope that he found at the thief’s hide out and the stolen item along with him. Upon entering the village he headed straight for the Oujoukage’s office. The guards stationed at the office were a bit alarmed as he approached in the dark, his shady figure seemed a bit scary and creepy.
He walked into the building and headed straight to the office, the anbu protecting the office opened up the door for him. He walked inside and dropped the thief on the floor, the young man was now unconscious because of the horror he had faced. Kakusa took out the item and unwrapped the clothing it was wrapped in, he moved forward and placed the item on the table. ”This is the thief and I believe this was the stolen item”. The grin on his face now widened satisfied by his accomplishment.

Reports had made way to the Oujoukage’s office, the village was in eminent danger and the shinobi were now worried. Word had made to Kakusa’s ears that he was summoned at the office for this very reason. Steps needed to be taken to solve the matter and those steps involved annihilation of the cause. The grinning cold shinobi walked into the office and formally greeted the Oujoukage; as was expected of him. He was curious about who was going to join him since this didn’t seem like a mission he was going to be sent alone.
”what is it that you require of me?” he inquired of the kage. Then he received the orders of annihilation, it was apparently a simple task but not an easy one. Pirates were causing a havoc and if they weren’t dealt with, things would become troublesome. After attaining the data regarding the mission he turned and headed for the door of the office. ”yare yare Oujoukage.. aren’t you sending us to kill mercilessly? You are pretty pathetic, aren’t you? All glorified for show but ready to take lives whenever you find it right” he thought to himself as he walked outside grinning.
Name: Plundering Pirates Difficulty: A Location: Tsukigakure no Sato; Port Caerula Reward: 45,000 Ryo Experience: 150 Experience Objective: Eliminate all of the pirates before they reach the village's main walls, and don't let them escape. Description: Pirates have shown up in Port Caerula. They are causing trouble with the workers there and if they aren't stopped, they will invade the village and burn it down. There is on ship docked at the port. There are twelve pirates to the ship. Each of these pirates are at least Chuunin or Special Jounin except for the leader who is Jounin.

As a result of Semasu’s technique in the blink of an eye Kakusa was now in the Oujoukage’s office ; while Semasu formally greeted the Oujoukage, Kakusa was a bit shaken. Like Semasu had already told him the first time would leave him disoriented, it was a pretty strange feeling; but he was still standing. It took a moment for him to recuperate and realize that he was in the office, then he bowed and greeted the Oujoukage like Semasu. Space-time ninjutsu indeed, it’s the sword’s doing; my assumption was spot on” he thought to himself as he sneaked another peek at Semasu’s unusual sword. Then he stood straight, ”As per your instructions, the threat to the port has been annihilated Oujoukage-sama” said the grinning individual.
As a jounin this was his first A-rank mission and with the help of Semasu he had done it quite easily and nicely. Of course he wasn’t one to steal the spot light he knew that if he was alone on the job it wouldn’t have been so easy and he wouldn’t have come back completely unscathed; though he hate to admit it but assigning a rankujo to the mission was a pretty good decision by the Oujoukage. Despite what he thought of the authority in this case, the authority was right.

Onmyoton clan, a clan that had honed its skills in the art of assasination ; just so they could protect their secrets. That’s why the existence of this clan was now becoming more of a myth. Kakusa was one of the clan and he too had learned the ways of the clan; his father had beaten those ideals of his clan into his body every single day. Despite that fact he still was rebellious and never actually embraced those morals and ideals; he didn’t like the fact that his clan’s existence was hidden and unknown to many.
Kakusa woke up early in the morning, he had rested for a few days now; it could be interpreted as slacking off, ever since he returned from the A-rank mission he hadn’t done anything noticeable. He had been thinking of that sword that belonged to Semasu; the girl from the rankujo clan, not only the clan’s abilities were interesting but also that sword. He was always the curious type and not just curious, whenever he came upon such powers he pondered upon how to attain them. Of course he tried to figure out the most convenient methods to attain them; currently he found himself unable to do so. Acquiring those things would require time, strength; things that he lacked for now. He would have to be patient; that was the only way to go, if he wanted to achieve his dark desires.
He strolled towards the kage building as he intended to make up for the past few days of doing nothing. The guards at the front gate stopped him and searched him as was customary, despite the fact that they were aware of who he was. Then the grinning individual strolled into the kage office and bowed formally to the kage. ”I understand there’s a mission for an assassination available, I’d like to take it”, a fitting mission for someone of the Onmyoton clan. Considering the mission he wanted to do it by himself since he didn’t know anyone from his clan; not that he needed anyone. If he was careful and planned ahead, an assassination wasn’t a difficult task.
Name: Assassinate the Assassin Difficulty: B Location: Tsukigakure no Sato Reward: 30,000 Ryo Experience: 100 Experience Objective: Kill the assassin or bring to the village for interrogation. The enemy assassin is skilled in stealth and will attack the target. They will try 4-6 times before the final attack where they will block the path of the villager and force a confrontation. You must keep to the shadows until then. After the assassin shows up, you are free to confront and kill them or bring them back for interrogation. Either one is acceptable. Description: Word has been sent out that a villager will be delivering a vital piece of information to a neighboring village. This is a lie. The villager is holding nothing but a bundle of worthless papers but is acting as a target for an assassin. The assassin is of unknown origin and that is why you must shadow the target and wait for the assassin to strike or strike before the assassin can.

The sun had now begun to rise, light began to pierce through the darkness. The shinobi guarding the gates of Tsukigakure were as vigilant as ever. From a distance, three figures began to appear. Slowly they continued to make their way towards the village’s gate. One of the figure was dragging someone on the ground and the other was following closely behind. Finally, Kakusa had returned to the village with the dead body of the assassin and the villager still alive and well. This was his first assassination mission after becoming a jounin and it was indeed a success. Elimination or capture, those were his choices and he had chosen the first. He walked into the gate, the villagers at the gate noted the time of his arrival. The villager that was along with him left after thanking him for saving his life.
After that Kakusa delivered the dead body of the assassin so that data could be extracted from his body. Even in death, a shinobi’s body contains valuable data, bringing it along would most certainly prove useful. With a written confirmation about the body, he walked towards the kage’s building. At the entrance he was searched and then allowed to enter. From there he made his way to the office, entering it after knocking. ”This is written confirmation that the assassin is dead. I have brought along his body and asked that a report be made and submitted. I believe the assassination was a success. I’ll be taking that reward now, Oujoukage-sama”. The grinning fiend made his report in indifferent tone. He was tired so after making the report and taking the reward, he returned to his home.

While Ren’ai left to ask permission from the clan’s elder, Kakusa decided to go to the kage’s office. If he was going to ask permission then he needed to tell the truth and ask to keep it a secret from Ren. Just for the fun of it, he wanted to explore her personality a bit more. How people react in different situations and what happens with they face certain scenarios? These things had always intrigued him. He didn’t need any directions to locate the kage’s office, it was quite a huge and prominent building.
He was stopped by the shinobi responsible for guarding the building. ”I request a meeting with the Kage, please inform him that a jounin from Tsukigakure is asking for his permission”. Upon inquiring of his identity, this was his reply. The two shinobi looked at one another and then one of them nodded and headed in. He didn’t have to wait much longer, the same shinobi came back and led him to the inside of the building. The jounin stopped at a distance and then kakusa was received by two Anbu who led him into the Kage’s office. As he entered the office, he bowed formally and thanked the kage for allowing him an audience.
”Thank you sir, for taking the time to talk to me. Firstly, I’d like to mention that I entered the village under disguise so I believed it was only appropriate to meet you and reveal my true identity. I have no intention of deceiving anyone, hence my visit here. My name is Kakusa Makoto and I am a jounin of Tsukigakure. I would also like to make a request: Ren’ai Uchiha, the young genin and prodigy of the Uchiha clan, I’d like to do a mission with her. My reason for doing so is only to increase the collaboration between our two villages. I hope that is acceptable and you would allow it. I have one more favor, I haven’t revealed my true self to her so could you please not do that? I assure you I will tell her myself.”
This was the best attempt he could be at being polite and formal, he had never done this before. By now he had only been going around with his assumptions and thinking. Truth be told, he never had been so formal even with his own kage. He only spoke a few sentences in front of the Oujoukage, so this was his first. From the available missions he had chosen a B-rank mission. He alone would normally be capable of doing it but of course he wanted to see Ren’ai in action. The final decision rested with the kage though, he had played his cards with the best of his abilities. The only thing left to do was wait.

Kakusa arrived at the Umikage’s building and once again was escorted by the ANBU to the office. Entering he bowed formally to the kage and then presented a scroll with written confirmation about a thug’s body being submitted. ”The other two have been killed and we’ve brought one for further investigation. I understand that the leader was more useful for gathering information, but his death was unavoidable. I was told that they were planning to attain Uchiha eyes, I have informed the ANBU of this”, said Kakusa as he stepped back a little.
”I thank you once again for allowing me to go for this mission. I will be taking the rewards then. If you’ll excuse me now, I’m tired and would like to get some rest”, another bow and he left the office.
Name: Thug Mobsters Difficulty: B Location: The Ocean Near Shippuugakure Reward: 30,000 Experience: 100 Objective: Eliminate everyone except for the Mobster lead. If you cannot capture the Mobster lead, eliminate him/her as well. Description: Have you already crashed a Thug’s Life and found out how intricately wrought intimidation is in their line of work? Good, if not… you definitely will in this mission. New reports have flooded into the Umikage’s office about the lower thug’s bosses whom have been spotted operating in a crashed Ship on Shipwreck Cove. Here, where hurricane effects are strongest in the village, they’ve decided to operate. The mobsters number about three. Two of the supporting mobsters were once highly trained military men and will wield with especial skill a katana each. The lead mobster, who still reports to the Thug Boss, is a rogue shinobi from Shippugakure no Sato who has fallen victim to greed and now acts purely for monetary profit and gain. The mobsters are generally strong, having base soul stats of B Rank Strength, Speed and Endurance. Each mobster will be different though and will have a different affinity type each time [based on the affinity that you choose-the lead mobster will have all the canon jutsu for that element]. You’re assigned to the mission to eliminate all targets or bring them in for questioning.

It had been a few days now, Kakusa was staying at the inn in Shipuugakure. He had been goofing off really, just walking around the village, visiting the library to find some information about clans. Nothing really mentionable had crossed his curious eyes and he was getting bored of this village. ”I suppose staying away for a few days should be enough. It’s about time we got together and did a mission for real. I did promise her that, didn’t I?”[i] he thought to himself as he headed for the kage building. It was early morning and he planned to tell Ren’ai after he had asked for permission from the Umikage. [i]”When she comes to inquire of her current mission, it should come off as a pleasant surprise” decided the grinning individual as he entered the building.
As per usual, he was being escorted by the anbu members. He was a jounin of another village after all, despite the trust between the villages he was still a suspicious shinobi. He was always so calm and relaxed and his grin was always unnerving. Kakusa knocked at the door and entered the office of the Umikage. ”Honored to be able to meet you again, Umikage. I’ve come to request yet another mission for the same purpose as before. This time, I’d like to do a more riskier mission so that it ensures an even better relationship between our villages. I’d also like to request permission to take along Ren’ai-chan with me as I promised her that” he said as he bowed formally to the kage. After getting his approval he requested that when Ren’ai arrives to inquire of her mission, she would be informed of it then and told that Kakusa would be waiting for her at the village’s door.

Description:A pirate lords ships have been spotted near the islands of the Ocean Country. You have been ordered to destroy/capture the ships and more importantly, kill the pirate lord. He is dangerous and his crew is highly trained. The pirate lord is around A rank in strength, the crew is mostly C. They are armed. Be cautious.
