The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Isais was in his office all day today. As usual, Isais was pushing bills and contracts about the shinobi force. It wasnt long before he stumbled upon the mentorship enforcement bill stating that it is mandatory that genins of this village are provided with a mentor and a training area to hone their skills before the chuunin exams. Isais then approved this bill and began forming squads. Each squad had a different note sent to their senseis. He now becomes ultra formal for this one.
Note From The Fubukikage:
Ey Gurl, What they do? I know you havent ever recieved a note from me so ill be sure to add my carrier pigeon number so dont get too excited. Anyways I hate to do this to you but im going to drop a few kids on your lap. Its not that im not a good dad and all, they arent my actual kids. You see there is this new rule around here saying that genins cant be without a sensei and I saw your profile info and I thought youd make a perfect teacher. Youll start off with two and there names are Saburo and Michael. I think Michael is on vacation so work with what you got for now. Make sure to meet them soon. Also I have designated the glacier graveyard as your designated training grounds from now on.
P.S. my carrier pigeon name is Bambi muffintoops
Isias would finish writting the letter then have his messenger send it to Slyvanas

Sylvanas would have just left the Western Watch Towers after taking a shortcut through the city of Hyougagakure. The sky had a passing fancy, long stretches of purple and orange lay across the sky like silk. Sylvanas had a deep appreciation for nature and what it has given to the human populace. Not that she is an environmentalist, or an activist, she just has a strong bond with it. It is how she was raised. The chilling winds produced by the everest-like mountaintops surrounding the entirety of the village bit the skin like a razor blade. An under-dressed civilian, or shinobi at that point, could very well die from the average weather cycle of the village. Sylvanas knew that the elements could kill as easily as any knife.
Scanning the trees as she walked, sprinted and mixed up a combination of the two, she noticed kunai engravings, slashes upon the aged and ancient bark of the canopy surrounding her. Finally, after what seemed like around an hour of tracking foot prints, kunai markings, and campsite ruins, she reached a passive clearing, being met by a plateau of mixed elemental affinities. Grass and small flowers flourished on the very tops of the hills, and the bottom of the hills gradually became frozen, mimicking the mountains around it. The backdrop had the outlining of a cave not far from where she stood, and as she cautiously walked closer, maintaining focus in case there were enemies around, or traps set to ward off or kill unwanted visitors, she heard the echoing voices of people talking. Using the water within the cave, Sylvanas utilized the liquid as a medium to calculate the distance of the shinobi in the cave.
Sylvanas is exceptionally gifted in tracking the old fashioned way, where she displays this talent by focusing solely on the areas where the air molecules are pushed together causing compressions. The areas where the air molecules are more spread out and produce rarefactions allows Sylvanas to hear and translate wavelengths. This intellectual capability allows her to predict how far an individual is from her using nothing but sound. She figured there were more than one, and although she has handled more than one opponent at once, she was unsure if these shinobi were even friendly. Sylvanas would hold her handsign up, activating her cloning technique.
Channeling chakra to her fingers and then extending it from her body accordingly, she whispered. "Water Release: Water Clone Jutsu." The real Sylvanas went on a higher left cliff about twenty-two feet up, staying hidden completely behind a frostberry bush, while she had her clone wait for the shinobi to come out by staying out of sight behind a tree about nine meters north of the cave entrance. She wore her standard Hunter-Nin uniform, and her mask was worn over her face. Similar to that of a normal shinobi outfit, this one consisted of the standard Hyougagakure pinstriped attire which stops at the knees. Over this, there is a green haori worn with white trimmings; and around the waist a brown sash with a fringed trail wrapped twice is seen. Light brown platoon sandals with straps in the same color as the kimono and nail polish on the fingernails and toenails in matching unison with the armor description shown above.
Though Sylvanas was not an ANBU Black Op, she was a registered Hunter-Nin for Hyougagakure, whom specialized in Assassination, Stealth, Infiltration and Tracking. It was her job to hunt down assigned targets, and eliminate them. But most of all, her primary objective was to track down and kill any shinobi that were from Hyougagakure and disbarred from the village without approval from the Kage. The mask, one of a kind, covers the face with a hard material, assumed metal, worn by any respectable ANBU or the person who receives it. The mask is of an elegant design, having been marked with the Hyougagakure logo in the dead center of the mask, between the eyes. Her mind was focused on the cave, awaiting a response from within. Although Sylvanas had been here to meet her two new students, she was caught off-guard by the presence of other people here, something she hadn't anticipated.
Jutsu Used:
Name: Water Clone Technique Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: C (3/3) Type: Supplementary Element: Water Range: The user can control the clones up to 100 Ft. Specialty: Ninjutsu Duration: Until the clone is defeated or the user runs out of chakra. Cooldown: Two posts. Description: The Water Clone Technique is similar to the Shadow Clone Technique except it creates clones out of water that have one-tenth of the original person's power. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body without losing control. Like other clone techniques, if the water clones are injured enough they will revert back to normal water.
Remaining Chakra:200-020=180

Micheal left the village, having received a note to meet his new sensei out in the graveyard, an ominous place for a meeting to be sure. Either this new teacher had a sick sense of humour or was completely oblivious to how this could be construed by their pupils. He sighed as he trudged towards the designated meeting place, wondering if he would arrive before the others. Micheal rubbed at his eyes, tired for reasons he couldn't explain, a small yawn escaping his mouth.
The genin didn't quite know what to expect when he arrived at his destination, though he assumed some semblance of meet and greet, maybe a skills demonstration. However, he didn't know who his team was, honestly he didn't even know who his new sensei was. This bothered him slightly, but there was nothing he could do about it, not until he actually met them that is, and then the point would cease to even matter. He sighed again, and raked a hand through his hair.
Finally he could see the spot he was supposed to meet the rest of his teem, and he could in fact see someone, up near a cave mouth. As he approached this person though he could hear voices within the cave, and realized that this person was either spying on them, or was watching for anyone approaching the cave. Micheal backed away, and hid himself behind a tree, not sure what to do in this situation.

Saburo too received the message to meet up with his new team, though he had already meet his new sensei once before in the village. The strange young girl, much younger than himself, but much more talented, and highly ranked. He didn't know who this new teammate would be though, he assumed it was another young person that would out shine him.
Upon reading that the meeting was to take place at the Graveyard of all places, Saburo let out a deep sigh. Was this some sort of sign he wondered? Starting his Shinobi life in a graveyard of all places. Maybe he was doomed after all? Slightly disheartened, the young man would begin the trek up to the graveyard.
As he made his way up, Saburo decided he had to make the most of this new adventure. His new team, and hopefully friends. He wondered how they would all work together, and if his age would get in the way. The truth was that the only thing that would really get in there way was Saburo's attitude.
As he reached the intended meeting place, Saburo spied a boy up ahead. He was about to call out, when he noted a look of panic on his face. Saburo was about to approached the boy, and ask what was the matter, when he quickly darted behind a tree. Saburo likewise reacted, and hid himself in some scrub, wondering if they were in some sort of danger.
Perhaps the other male, whom Saburo was assuming to be his teammate, had seen something he hadn't. The only way in which he would find out, is if he was able to approach him. Saburo shuffled through the frozen scrub, trying to get closer. Once nearby, Saburo tossed a small pebble at the other boy, trying to get his attention. Word Count: 299

Sylvanas had activated a technique she had been trying to perfect after it was invented, which allows the user to utilize their Water Element and previously launched Water Jutsu to track and pinpoint an enemies location within an immediate one-hundred twenty foot range. By gathering and focusing chakra to their hands, the user of this technique can essentially 'see' anything a previously launched Water Jutsu is covering as long as the range within it remains within reach of this technique. The chakra is then released from the users hand, sending out a sudden burst of chakra-enhanced energy.
As this pulse travels through the molecules of water, it sends a rippling-like effect as if someone were moving underwater, though it was very faint and hard to hear. This wavelength of energy is rebounded by things it touches, and through training, the user can distinguish what is what when the wave reaches back to them the following post. Essentially, this allows the user to track or pinpoint an enemies location by utilizing this technique as an energy detection jutsu. If one were to witness the application of this jutsu, they would think of a radar.
As she had predicted, the jutsu worked perfectly. She could tell where the shinobi were inside of the cave, and, the two minor chakra signatures she sensed behind her. She figured these were her students. Any shinobi like the ones whom are inside of the cave would have a much higher chakra signature, and it would be much easier felt. This was bad. The real Sylvanas jumped down from the cliff, and activated the Body Flicker Technique, appearing behind Michael. She touched his shoulder, spinning him around, and holding her finger to her mouth in a "shh" manner. "There are Rogue Hyougagakure Shinobi inside of this cave, and I hadn't anticipated their being here during our meeting. Quickly, about sixty feet away there is your partner, Saburo. Gather yourselves, and prepare to fight if necessary." Her tone was completely serious. Her eyes seemed to bypass the entirety of the mask she wore upon her face and delve deeply into the soul. It was almost nightly. As she backed up from him, she used the same hand for her mouth to activate the Hidden Mist Technique. As the area flooded with the heavy fog, she returned to her previous position at the top of the cliff. The sky began to darken, clouds gathered above and drowned out what sunlight remained.
About two minutes later, the shinobi had finally surfaced and revealed themselves. These two were primary targets on Sylvanas's Blacklist. Two Rogue Jounin-Rank shinobi had went AWOL during the recent bandit outbreak that had sprung up about three towns over. Sylvanas was fighting in the battle when the two escaped, and afterward, her Lieutenant Commander ordered her to hunt and eliminate the both of them when she discovered their location. The first, Coramato Drgi, a former Sergeant in the Hyougagakure Military. Tall and slender, he specializes in Earth Techniques and melee combat. The second, clad in Hyougagakure military-grade Kevlar, Edame Heika, a former Captain of the Hyougagakure Military. Short, but extremely muscular and well toned, this shinobi is a legend of the Hyougagakure Academy for his Taijutsu and Nintaijutsu skills. Both were wanted dead or alive. As they walked out, Coramato noted how foggy it had gotten. Edame was in disbelief at how dense the Mist truly was. You couldn't even see your hand in front of your face. "Stay alert, Sarge. This could be some kinda trick.." He'd look around, seeming to scan the area with his eyes.

Micheals mind reeled, and he glanced around for something, anything to use as some sort of weapon for his own protection. However a moment later a small rock flew from the underbrush nearby, striking the tree next to him. Micheals eyes widened, and he looked towards the cave mouth, hoping the sound wasn't enough to draw the attention of those within. He let out a shaky breath, and turned his attention back to his immediate surroundings, trying to locate the source of the pebble thrown at him. So focused was he that when his sensei appeared before him he nearly had a heart attack on the spot.
He felt a tap on his shoulder, before he was spun around and saw her. The only reason he didn't cry out in anyway was the finger held against her mouth. He again let out a shaky breath, and tried to force a smile. He was so happy to see her, at least this way someone would know what to do, and all Micheal would have to do was follow her instructions. The young man's eyes widened again, and he glanced once more at the cave as his sensei spoke. He swallowed the lump in his throat, then turned to her and nodded.
As she stepped back Micheal prepared himself to run to his partner. As the mist sprung up around them from her jutsu Micheal sprinted towards the underbrush, understanding then who had thrown the rock at him earlier. He ducked down when he got closer. Micheal began to call out the others name, Saburo, but not too loud, for fear of being heard by the two enemy shinobi, who by this point had left the cave. He looked around himself, though he couldn't see past his face due to the mist created by Slyvanas's jutsu. For all he knew he could have walked right past the boy or could be walking righ- the thought cut off as Micheal walked straight into something, bounced off and fell onto his butt.
He groaned, rubbing his forehead as he did so. Hopefully he either walked into a tree, or this Saburo guy. Micheal hoped it was more the latter than the prior, as this meant he had finally found his teammate.

Saburo was thinking how he could get closer to his teammate, as the pebble hadn't seemed to work at first. He was about to get up, and make another dash towards him when their sensei appeared suddenly. She was motioning for him to be quiet, so Saburo crouched back down in the brush to watch the exchange.
Their sensei seemed to be pointing out to Michael that Saburo was here, then she created a thick mist. Saburo was unsure if he should try and make his way to Michael, or just wait here for his Senpai. His decision was made however when he heard his follow teammate quietly calling his name. Part of him really wished the kid would shut up, yet at the same time it gave him a way to find him.
Saburo got up, and started moving towards where he had last seen the boy through the mist, and followed his voice to help guide him. In the thickness of the mist it was hard going, and soon he bumped into something. He sure hoped it was his teammate, and he whispered, "Oi! That you?"
He started worrying because he could hear voice coming from above now. If it was his teammate everything was fine, but what if it was one of the enemies from the cave? Word Count: 221
