The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Subject: Red Hot Passion In Cold White Air! Sat May 30, 2015 8:44 pm
Michio was here to train, and was very serious in this pursuit. Most shinobi who came to train there went so because of the dangers lying inside of the cave keeping them alert and making the training feel more real at the same time, but Michio chose this location at the much cooler and more predictable mouth of the cave for a very different reason. It was all about endurance training. Mist means more than blurred vision in an athletic or combat setting. It made the air thicker, which meant that it was harder to breathe. Steam's heat cleared one's lungs, but cold mist would only weigh them down. It wasn't instantly noticeable, or noticed at all really, by most, but it made a real difference after a few hours or even twenty or more minutes of hard training. Most people would want to find some way to nullify this once it crossed their minds, but Michio had a very different idea on what to do to alter his terrain. He had heard of people using weights on their legs or torso when running or doing push ups or other exercises to get more muscle build up from every motion they did. Michio wanted to do the same only with a full body effect to train his endurance. If it was harder to draw in air then training here would mean that he'd need to be able to work hard enough to continue his regular regimen with only a fraction of the energy. This was going to be the ultimate cardio and endurance work out. All he needed to thicken the air further was four hand seals and a deep breath. He formed the snake hand seal, then the ram hand seal, followed by the monkey hand seal, and then finished up the tiger hand seal. "Fire Release: Mist Blaze Dance Technique!" he shouted and then blew out a thick mist while facing down. Instead of forming a cloud in front of him the mist added into the existing cool mist around him and formed a little, flammable, cloud around him. Sight and breathing were now both getting harder, and that meant it was time to start the training.
Michio dropped down to his hands and toes, starting his first push up in the thick air. His hands met in a diamond pattern just like he was taught by his uncle when he was younger. I couldn't have been any older than ten, he thought to himself as he moved on to his second push up and was already feeling the impact of his training. The cold weather and the thick air were a harsh combination; it was like he was doing push ups at the bottom of the deep end of a deep swimming pool with rocks tied tightly to his wrists and ankles. By his seventh he was coughing up the combined mists as they clouded up his lungs, but he didn't mind; in fact, it excited him beyond believe because it meant that his plan to make this a very intense work out was paying off very quickly. At the eleventh diamond push up he was afraid that he might just pass out, but he kept going, and by the fourteenth he was starting to feel like he could get through it. At the sixteenth he started to feel like he might be used to what this was like, but when he finally hit twenty he felt like he had done five hundred and fell belly first and then face down back into the ice when he tried to get back up. Instead of giving up when he fell he decided to roll onto his back, put his hands under his head, pull his legs together, raise his knees up, and do his first crunch for this session.

Jutsu Used:
Name: Fire Release: Mist Blaze Dance Technique Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: C Element: Katon Type: Ninjutsu Range: 50ft x 50ft x 30ft Description: After performing the necessary hand seals, the user is able to create and blow a flammable gas from their lungs. While this gas is completely harmless other than causing a the affected to become light headed on it own once it comes in contact with fire or spark, the gas ignites into a large fireball. This fire ball is more of an explosion, expanding out ten feet past the gas in every direction. If someone is near the center of the cloud this has the potential to be lethal (more from the force than the heat) but more often than not the effects are full body second degree burns. The user is not affected by the gas cloud in any way except that their vision is impaired like everyone else and if it is set off they are affected like normal. 4 round cool down.

The first crunch felt like it was not ever going to end for him, but alas, his eyes and his knees eventually came close enough for it to be a crunch but not close enough for it to be a sit up, and he could slowly let himself lay his upper back back down on the cold ground again. The ice was a blessing beyond any other when working out because it prevented him from over heating when he was getting really into it but it also meant that whenever he rested he would be back up quickly because he didn't want to get frost bite. By the ninth crunch his chest was starting to tighten up. At the fourteenth crunch he could feel that he was getting tired, but he was determined not to stop. He always believed that doing twenty of any three or more different work outs would make sure that he would be powerful enough for anything that came his way. When he finally reached number twenty he leaned all the way in far enough and then stretched his legs out, popping back up to being front and center.
He did a little hop, spread out his limbs, then did another hop and brought everything back together. The jumping jacks, he thought, were going to be the easiest thing to do in the mist saying as they were usually the easiest thing to do in the normal air. He forgot how vary aerobic it was, and how unforgiving the air at the time was to anything aerobic. He could not complain, of course, because he was the one who made the air that way in the first place. It was still exceptionally aggravating. By the tenth his breaths were already rasping, but he didn't slow down one bit. He pressed on with sore lungs and a will to win that was burning just as badly and if not then much worse! At the fifteen mark he was in a lot of pain, but that didn't slow him down either. He reached twenty and then dropped to the ground.
Instead of getting up, he dug his fingers into the unyielding ice and pushed himself forward. He was starting to feel the frost bite creeping up on him, but that was something that he was very used to. He did this for a few more feet as he caught his breath, then rose up for a moment and started to run. He was running like he hadn't run before and had cleared the twenty five feet surrounding him in what couldn't have been a whole four seconds, because he was running for oxygen. The moment he was out of the cloud of gas that he had made for himself and into the normal mist he felt like was drinking water after a month in the desert. And he didn't stop there. He kept running all the way home, laughing like a giddy child as he started to breathe in normal, clean air.
