The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

The lava pool is a large lake of lava that sits in the bottom of the volcano. Its is used to produce energy and light for the village. People who go down by the lava pool are to be careful of the power plant, though. Those caught trespassing are sent to jail in the obsidian cave. There is also rumored to be a large creature that dwells in the pool, so if your lucky (or not) you might see it.
A forest of burnt trees and black wasteland outside of the volcano. It became this way after a massive eruption that sealed of the top of the volcano. It is so covered with ash that if you lay down you can make an ash angel. You must pass through this forest to enter the village, but there is nothing to worry about as there is nothing alive.
In a cave in the side of the volcano is a shrine to honor Kazan's deity Prometheus. Once a year there was a festival held to honor the fire god and offerings were made to see if he would grant wishes to them. After the destruction the altar was still kept intact, which was made of the clearest obsidian and granite found in the volcano.
A cave deep below the surface of the volcano. It has many caves and side tunnels used for storage and other things. On the bottom level of the cave is the prison for the village. Those who are sent to the prison live in total darkness in cells that are made with sharp obsidian waste from the mine. Prisoners also worked in the mine to provide the village with its obsidian and granite to build the buildings and pave the roads.
This mountain of earth and fire sits a half dozen miles outside of Kazangakure's broken ruins as one of the only things not obliterated in the area. Its stones are dark and a devilish red ring of smoke surrounds the mouth at the summit. Time to time a giant pillar of fire bursts from the top to pierce the clouds above. On the inside it is an ever changing maze with a treasure at it's heart. The heart is the hottest place on earth, humans are only able to remain within two hundred feet of this room for ten minutes before they completely dehydrate and die. The heart itself is an earth arena nearly seventy-five feet across. This arena is elevated above and surrounded on all sides by a pool of magma hot enough to melt chakra ice on contact. The only way into and out of this room in a hole directly above the arena about one hundred feet up.
