Description:
Týr looks like a standard scimitar, but underneath the basic appearance is a blade that can make even the mightiest of enemies fall. The handle is exactly a half-a-foot in length, with the actual blade itself measuring three feet. The blade and handle are both basic steel reinforced with a titanium-aluminum alloy, making the weapon itself both lightweight and virtually indestructible. As far as weight goes, the blade in its entirety weighs five pounds, and is easily wielded and maneuvered by Kenshi.

Description: This ability allows the following techniques to be used. These abilities require no handseals. If chakra is channeled:

• within the blade, then the blade becomes heavy. Depending on how much chakra is placed within the blade, Týr can become as heavy as one-hundred pounds. The heaviness increases the blade's centrifugal force, and therefore the amount of power behind blows. If attacks with the blade are not blocked with a sword that can prevent so through it's own respective ability or otherwise, the blocking sword will break (the chance of breakage increases with the heaviness of the blade). One critical flaw of using this ability, is that the heavier the blade becomes, the slower Kenshi's attacks become. At the maximum weight it can become, Kenshi's attack speed is reduced by 25 percent.
  
  It costs
  - 25 chakra to increase the blade's weight to maximum
  
  
• along the blade, then the blade's cutting power increases. Depending on how much chakra is channeled along the blade, Týr can saw through rock. In addition, chakra can be focused along the edge, then as the blade is swung, released at a velocity of 15 meters/second. These blades of chakra have as much cutting potential as the blade itself, and require one post of preparation, and another post to execute. When used in conjunction with Kenshi's bloodline, the blade (now a visible blade of fire or lightning) can cut through rock as if it was nothing but softened butter, and the blade can shoot off chakra blades at a faster velocity, reaching 30 meters/second. Even in light of Týr's increased sharpness, it may not cut through other blades, except when the blade is made out of low caliber steel (this is usually the case in bandits/thugs). Keep in mind that the blade can not cut through chakra-induced rock, such that of a Doton ninjutsu.
  
  - 10 chakra to increase the blades cutting power.
  - 10 chakra for each blade of chakra to be shot off
  - 20 chakra to shoot off a Akatsuka-chakra blade
  
  (To infuse the blade with chakra would only require the use of Kamihibana, already among Kenshi's known techniques)

History:
Kenshi desired a blade that could be used in conjunction with his bloodline abilities, and one that he could truly connect with. This could not be obtained with a bought weapon, so Kenshi forged the blade over the course of several months, tuning it to his liking.
