First Name: Narora
Last Name: Uchiha
Alias: The Harvester of Sorrow
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Height: 6'0
Weight: 170 LB
Birthday: September 10th
Sexuality: Straight
Relationships: N/A
Affiliation: Kusamuragakure
Rank: Genin
Element: Raiton, Futon, Kaiton
Specialization: Kenjutsu (Special form for Scythes), Ninjutsu, Taijutsu
Personality:Narora's first personality, the one for non-battles is carefree and annoying, for lack of a better word. He can be slightly lazy and very annoying, but only to the people that know him best. He isn't one to go around and annoy people without good reason though... and his good reason is pure fun or just because he's bored. So it would be best not to be around him if he is bored. If he knows the person well enough, he can joke around and annoy them a bit, if he knows them better than that, than they are probably going to be targeted for a prank or joke or anything that comes out of his mouth. This is Narora's primary personality, one you can always see, because he's never in a fight very obtain.
Narora's Second personality, is the one for Battles. While outside of a fight, he is carefree and a joker, in a fight, he becomes completely serious and focused on the battle at hand. His whole aura seems to change, but he hasn't gotten to the point in his life were it will have a major effect on his enemies, its barely noticeable at the moment, but it is there. When he is like this, he will rely on his Kenjutsu more than his Ninjutsu or Taijutsu, Genjutsu is non-existent, despite his clan being good at Genjutsu, Narora has chosen to not learn it, in favor of practicing the scroll his late Sensei had given him, but he was forced to learn Nin and Taijutsu.
Likes: Narora is a fan of pocky. He loves it. He can't get enough. He always has a box of Pocky on him that he pulls from who knows where. While he is outside of battle, he can be found with a stick in his mouth, that never seems to go away. His other likes include Training, and his Clan. Training so he can become strong and and make sure that those close to him are not hurt. Though he realizes that everyone wants that, he still try’s and follows the, bandwagon, so to say. He is torn between his clan though. When speaking, he may say he likes it, but he knows of his clan's past and is not happy about it, and thus, he is very cautious around them, always watching to see what they could or could not be planning.
Dislikes: Narora dislikes very few things. The first, having no Pocky on his person. Kind of expected, with how much he loves it. He also doesn't like it when someone takes pocky from him without asking (It's like taking Kakashi's Icha Icha). The next, arrogance. He will admit at times he can be arrogant and cocky, but he regrets doing so. He blames it on his Clan's bloodline and his clan's blood. Uchiha are known to be very arrogant and cocky, which is half the reason that they all die very quickly in a fight. He dislikes loosing, as he doesn't know what could happen if he dose. He doesn't want his friends or remaining family to be killed. Nor his Teammates if he was ever put on a team as a Gennin.
Motivation: What motivates Narora is his desire to protect and become strong. He wishes to do this, because of his dead Sensei, Kota. The man had taught him everything he knew about scythes, and that the most important thing a ninja could have, was to have emotion and find things to love, so he can protect. When Narora had asked about it, Kota had stated that when a ninja, or anybody in the world, fights for something they want to protect, they will never lose. Against all odds, they will never give up until they leave this world, they will continue to stand and fight until their body and bones turn to dust, they will not fail, until they die, and the last breath leaves their body.
Fears: Narora fears being weak. He fears that if he is not strong enough, that bad things will happen. A fear that everybody has, be it for friends, families, loved ones, or anything else that they want to protect. He also fears his Bloodline, and that it will end his life before he can figure out how to control it. Though the Sharingan is a powerful tool, it is the epitome of arrogance, which destroys the footholds of Victory (I don't own that line). The Sharingan is known to make an Uchiha power hungry, leaving villages and betraying friends just to gain power, but that is a small percentage of people in the clan that actually follow through with that act. The rest of the clan prefer to live peaceful lives, to his knowledge.
Uchiha: Bloodline Name: Sharingan, Mangekyou Sharingan
Bloodline Ability: The first of the Sharingan's powers is being able to see the flow of chakra. The Sharingan can tell if a person is under a genjutsu because the person's chakra flow would be irregular.
The Sharingan's second-most prominent ability grants the user an incredible clarity of perception, allowing them to easily recognize genjutsu and different forms of chakra, though not to the same extent as the Byakugan. This also allows the user to pick up on subtle details, enabling them to read lip movements or mimic something like pencil movements. As the Sharingan evolves, gaining more tomoe seals, this ability extends to being able to track fast-moving objects before finally giving some amount of predictive capabilities to the user. However, even though the user may be able to see an attack or know it is coming, their body may not have time to react.
The Sharingan's third and most well-known ability is that it grants the user the ability to memorize any technique that he or she witnesses, apart from other kekkei genkai techniques. The user can memorize ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu with near perfect accuracy, allowing the user to use the techniques as their own, or even modify them to create their own new techniques. In order to reproduce a copied jutsu, however, one must have the necessary skill or ability to perform them. In addition to physical skill and kekkei genkai techniques, the Sharingan cannot reproduce jutsu dependent on other factors, such as summons that the user has not signed a contract with.
The Sharingan's final commonly-used ability is capable of inducing a unique brand of hypnosis that involves suggesting actions and thoughts to the opponent through genjutsu cast by simple eye contact. More advanced Sharingan users can take the hypnosis ability even further to the point where a powerful summons or even Bijuu’s may be controlled. When this was used against summons and the Bijuu’s their eyes took on the tomoe pattern of the users' Sharingan while under hypnotic influence.
The hypnotic ability coupled with the other aspects of the Sharingan, can make the user appear as if they can "see the future". First, the user must perfectly mimic every move their opponent makes and possibly their thoughts and words through careful observation. Then, they suggest an action to the opponent such as hand seals for a jutsu that the opponent and Sharingan user already know and copy that. With these things done, the user can complete the action even before the opponent does, possibly using the Sharingan's genjutsu to confuse or delay them. As with other genjutsu, genjutsu cast by the Sharingan are capable of putting an opponent to sleep, inducing paralysis, replaying memories to someone else, or creating various illusions to deceive someone. The potency of the Sharingan's illusion is dependent on the user's knowledge and skill with implementing genjutsu.
Although the Sharingan consumes the user's chakra while active, the chakra levels that the user must exert is so insignificant that they can keep it active constantly. However, when a Sharingan is transplanted to a non-Uchiha, the chakra drain is significant, leading them to cover it up when not in use, to stop the drain.
The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to several powerful techniques, including the powerful fire jutsu Amaterasu and the almost unbreakable genjutsu Tsukuyomi. The Mangekyō Sharingan erodes the eyesight of its users, eventually causing blindness, which can be prevented by obtaining another pair of Mangekyō Sharingan from a sibling. The new Sharingan is dubbed the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
Location: Kusamugakure
Clan History: The Uchiha clan descended from the elder of the two sons of the Sage of the Six Paths. The elder brother inherited the Sage's "eyes", powerful chakra and spiritual abilities. When it came time for the Sage to choose a successor, he questioned the two on what course of action they would follow to bring order to the world. The elder believed that might was the way to bring peace, while the younger believed love was the way. The Sage favoured the ideal of the younger brother, and therefore designated the younger as his successor, causing the elder to be filled with jealousy and hatefulness. From the younger son descended the Senju clan who would be the eternal rivals of the Uchiha.
Before the founding of the ninja villages, the Uchiha were one of the many mercenary clans for hire. Because of their Sharingan, the Uchiha clan came to be known as one of the two strongest clans, the other being the Senju clan. As time passed the Uchiha grew stronger, conquering whatever clans they came upon, such that, whenever the Uchiha clan was hired for a job, the opposing side would hire the Senju, and vice versa.
The Senju clan, grew tired of the endless fighting, and approached the Uchiha clan with a peace treaty. The leader at that time feared that an alliance would lead the Uchiha to ruin, but his clan disagreed, and he was forced to accept. The two clans came together to form Kusamugakure, with the leader of the Senju Clan, being selected as kage. They turned their backs on those who opposed the overall decision, and they defected. Now the Uchiha clan slowly regained their influence in peacetime but what happens next will depend on the generations to come.
History: Birth Arc:
Narora was born on a Warm summer night. His parents lived outside of the village of Kusamugagakure. He was born of Uchiha blood, both of his parents having been Uchiha before they left the village in search of a peaceful life. It was only later that Narora joined the Village again, to be a ninja.
Academy Arc:
As Narora was accepted into the academy, he was placed within a class full of clan kids. He was surprised that most students ignored him in the classroom. It was only the next day at lunch when he asked to sit next to another group of students did he get his answer.
Due to his last name and the blood running through his veins, he was to be treated with the utmost respect, and it wasn't seen right for an Uchiha to be talking with civilians of a lower rank than he. Narora quickly brushed aside that comment, having no care for the rules of his clan. He was able to make friends that day, the first he had ever had.
It was a few months later, when the children were given a choice of weapons to spar with. Almost every weapon you could think of was placed in front of them, but Narora didn't pick one, stating that none of them 'felt right'. When the instructors asked him what kind of weapon he thought would suit him, he began to give them an explanation of a weapon he had seen a Shinobi using before.
He explained a weapon with a long staff, almost as tall as one of the academy instructors. But at the end of the staff was a blade. A curved blade that bent down toward the ground when held upright, black as the night sky.
When the instructors put the idea together, they had come up with a weapon that almost no ninja had used before.
A Scythe.
A large, black bladed scythe was the weapon that Narora felt suited him. But the only ninja that would be able to train the boy, was the only other scythe using ninja in the village.
Kyomasa Kota.
So, Narora was sent to the man, who he had found training away with his scythe. Narora stood for a few moments, watching the scythe as it gracefully cut through the air and the large tree that sported many cuts on it. It's blade and staff used in both a style meant for Kenjutsu and Bojutsu.
When Narora confronted the man and gave him the note that had come from one of the Academy Instructors, the man agreed to train him. Kota was actually a fun guy. Being of Jounin rank, he was eligible to take on a team, but had never chosen to. No student had ever come to him, wanting to learn his ways. That was, until Narora.
He trained the boy on weekends, and for so long after he had gotten out of the Academy. It wasn't long before he had reached Gennin level, and had a scythe of his own.
It was long, slightly longer than himself, and he stood at a good 5'7. The blade was black, much like his temporary Sensei's. It staff however was made of wood, oak to be exact.
After passing in the Jounin's eyes, he was sent back to the Academy to pass the Gennin exams the next day. And he did so with flying colors. It was only after that... he was told of Kota.
He had passed away on an A-Rank mission. On their way back, they were ambushed by a group of Jounin-class Missing-Nin. They were out numbered and overpowered. Upon his Sensei's death however, he left a scroll containing various scythe Jutsu, some he was not to learn till much later in his life.
From that day on, it was his motivation. His Nindo, what kept him going. He wanted power to protect those dear to him...
RP Sample:Narora blocked an attack from another gennin with the staff of his scythe. He was currently in the training grounds, having a group spar with some friends from the academy that had made it to full-fledged Gennin. He had to admit, they were doing quite well. Had it not been for his recently unlocked Sharingan (After reaching 400 posts.) he might have lost a while ago. He was fighting 2 on 1.
He jumped out of the way of Yoshimoto's kunai, the boys black knives sticking into the ground where he once was. He turned and blocked another kunai from Kari, her knife only a few inches away from his face. He pushed her away from himself and landed on the ground.
Yoshimoto was to his right, and Kari was to his left. He went through a mental list of what he could do, and picked the best option.
'I'm not good with Kaiton, but it should buy me some time.' He thought as he began hand-seals.
Kari, seeing the hand-seals beginning with Tiger, began her own string of seals. Yoshimoto wasn't far behind. As Narora landed on the last seal, he threw his head up and took a deep breath. he then proceeded to fire out 10 small, 6 inch diameter fire balls and have 5 go after each of his peers.
'Kaiton: Phoenix Sage Art Technique!'Kari finished her seals, as did Yoshimoto at the last second. A nearby lake rose up and covered the two, stopping the flames. As both the steam and water cleared, Kari and Yoshimoto looked around for Narora. Only to find themselves dodging kunai and landing next to each other back to back.
They were unprepared for Narora's Scythe to rest near both of their necks as the steam cleared.
Narora chuckled, Sharingan deactivating, "You lose."
