Personality:
Vaughn is a man who gets bored easily. He is seldom entertained, and always has a need to travel. He feels an absence of purpose and a sense of duty, never knowing what to do. He feels compelled to train hard and work hard, but loves sleep and is quite lazy. He rarely helps anyone, and doesn't care for much. He can't open up to most people, but to those he does he is an irreplaceable friend. He hates alcohol, mainly because he has had a bad history with it. Even if it's wine, one sip would knock him out, and he'd wake up with a massive hangover. His manners are base, and he is often rude to many, forgetting their names unless they impact him in a certain way.

Likes: Vaughn doesn't like many things. People are rare, unless they impress him enough. I guess it could be said that he likes fighting, but his lethargic and not caring attitude could contradict that. What he does like is his next meal, his next nap, and his next drink of milk.

Dislikes: Vaughn's ambiguity towards many things leads many to believe that he hates everything, which would be wrong. He just doesn't care, even toward alcohol, though that is probably his least favorite drink. Overall, Vaughn just doesn't give a damn.

Motivation: Ever since Vaughn has avenged his wife's, Helena's, death, he has lost a sense of purpose. Right now his only motivation is food and sleep, and perhaps fighting if he's in the mood. But his motivation is overall, lacking.

Fears: His one fear is, and was, losing some one he cared for. This is the main reason he doesn't open up to people, he doesn't want to get close to them. In his mind, someone else could kill them.

History: Vaughn's childhood was nothing special. He had a normal one,parents who were there, and a pretty modest house and income. But to Vaughn, it was boring. The same routine everyday, always safe and no excitement. It bored the hell out of him. When he was 13 he ran away, being a drifter moving from village to village, town to town, living by himself, on the road. He was able to survive by finding helpful people to take him in, acting as if he was homeless. He lived like this, never stopping, always drifting, until he forgot about his family, his old life.To him, this was a life he always knew.

It wasn't until he turned 18 that his life changed. He was sleeping on the road when a woman came up to him, a young and beautiful girl, and asked what he was doing. His reply was harsh and rude, but she just laughed and grabbed him by the hand and rushed him to her house, and offered to cook for him. Vaughn was confused, as most people were never that nice to him, or so he could remember. She was so kind to him, so beautiful. It wasn't long that Vaughn had asked her to be his bride, and she did. On the wedding day, Vaughn awaited his bride to be. She came up to the altar, smiling radiantly. Vaughn knew, that it didn't matter where they lived. he just wanted to be with her. But, fate is a cruel mistress. A man with a horrid claw for a hand killed her, and nearly killed Vaughn. It was 2 weeks for Vaughn to wake up and recover from his injuries. But when he did, he was filled with an uncontrollable rage that dulled all other emotions.

And with that he journeyed, going from village to village, from town to town, finding any information on this man, this Claw. He would never stay in a village for more than a week, and would constantly look for any leads on the Claw. For three years Vaughn's journey was fruitless, those he told found the idea of vengeance horrible and short-sighted, but to Vaughn that was all that mattered. Seeing the man who killed his wife. When he was 21 he took ill, and was forced to find a hospital to recover. There a doctor commented on his scars, stating that a man who left a month ago had a claw and those scars looked like a claw similar to that could've done it. Vaughn's anger flowed, questioning the man as to where this man went. The doctor, terrified, answered he had no knowledge of the man. Enraged Vaughn stormed out of the hospital, going to a nearby town.

And so it went on, for a whole year. Always chasing the Claw, always just missing him, catching the faintest glimmer of him but never able to grasp him. Every passing moment his anger rose. It was the anniversary of his wife's murder. Vaughn came upon a chance lead, someone who knew the Claw personally. Vaughn ran off, and as he did the man he got the information from yelled to him, the Claw had changed. The Claw was now a feeble old man, grandchildren. He deeply regretted all his past mistakes, but Vaughn didn't care. He busted down the door, and he saw him: The Claw. He was now old, or was he always old? The anger blinded Vaughn. The Claw smiled at him, and was about to say something, but in the instant he was dead, cut in half, his prosthetic limb severed. And in that instant all the rage, and sadness welled up inside him, and with tears in his eyes he screamed his wife's name, Helena.
A year after Vaughn is without purpose,almost empty. He still carries Helena's ring with him, on his hat. He is not angry, but now he is empty. What will the future hold for him?


lRP Sample: Raleth heard the serpent erupt from the water, and everything seemed to gon in slow motion, is adreneline now pumping widly, as there was a great chance he could die. He spotted a huge wooden pole, with a sharpen end. He knew he could not doge the tentacle, or move from the serpent now coming at him. He stomped on the ground to get the pole in his hand, and waited for the right moment. When the serpant was close enough, he shoved the pole upwards, hopefully impaling the upper part of its mouth, and locking its jaw in place so it could not close its mouth to swallow Raleth. Raleth then kicked off the pole to get away from the huge mouth of the Serpent, but the tentacle had slammed Raleht to th eright and away from the Serpent, giving him a safe distance but leaving him powerless with chakra. He could feel his own chakra almost frozen in place.
Luckily, the serpent had knocked him far enough away so that when the harbor crashed, Raleth would be on solid land. He got up, angry and injured. H equickly ocntemplated what to do.
