First Name: Jiro
Last Name: Uchiha
Alias: -
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 180 lbs
Birthday: October 26
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Relationships: -
Affiliation: Shippuugakure
Rank: Genin
Element: Lightning, Fire, Earth
Specialization: Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Fuuinjutsu
Personality: Jiro is your average guy, pretty much. He's the kind of guy that's very laid-back, unlike a lot of Uchiha you'd see around that appear to be power hungry. No, no, Jiro's as friendly as a guy could be, and won't hesitate to make friends with whoever he likes or finds interesting.
He's also incredibly lazy, and likes to do things as quick and painlessly as he can, which could be the subconscious Uchiha potential working its way more subtly than the other rising talents of the same clan.
A rather strong sense of justice also applies to Jiro. He'll stand up for what's right, and even if he's terrified, he'll put on the best face he can to see through what he believes is right.
He's also not without his share of perverted thoughts. As it comes naturally with a boy of his age, girls are a weakness of his. Sometimes he can't hold back his inner thoughts when he sees a pretty girl, and blurts things out that would by no means be socially appropriate, and could blush at the most inappropriate times.
Not to say he's some genius, however. His superiors apparently see great potential in him, but at least in his own opinion, it isn't showing. He does average at best in everything he does, which is mostly due to his own attitude of not usually putting his full effort in, instead trying his best to look cool.
But he isn't without talent. When he decides to get serious and brush aside his laziness, he rises far above his expectations, to the point where he could potentially tango on equal footing with someone who was stomping his face into the ground previously, adding a certain unpredictable side to fights involving him, as he's a prodigy when the burden is forced upon him.
Likes: Above all else, he likes the feeling of freedom. Nothing serious on his mind, no worries, no cares. That's his ideal mental state, though lord knows how long he'll be able to keep that up.
He likes observing and checking out girls, and won't hesitate to make it obvious if the occasion is right.
He also has a weakness and absolute adoration for formal clothing, and looking good. This of course means that jazz music to goes along with this ideal well for him, and thus is his favorite type of music.
Dislikes: He hates having to get serious in a situation. It makes him feel too "solidified", awkward and stuffy; as he doesn't know how to feel when he's acting out the part expected of him, as a true-blooded Uchiha. This goes hand in hand with a hate of fighting in general.
He'd prefer to talk situations over rather than fight, possibly solving the problem with a compromise, unless it's a situation where he can't afford to do anything but fight. Last but not least, this all connects to a dislike or annoyance of people who like to fight for no reason at all. He believes that these people are stupid, selfish, and above all this is mostly because he's a little scared of these kinds of people and their unpredictability.
Motivation: Jiro's main motivation is to grow up, get married in a huge mansion with a cute wife, have a couple kids and settle down with stable, non-threatening jobs until he dies of old age alongside his beloved, leaving their fortune to the future generations of his family.
This is mostly a fantasy at the current, though, so his main motivation aside from this is to become a strong shinobi, and to unlock his Sharingan, so that everyone will grow to see him as more than a below-average Uchiha.
Fears: He fears dying a great deal, due to reasons in his past as well as the fact that... well, who doesn't fear death at least a little? The thought of everything just coming to an end, all at once, is terrifying.
Additionally, he has a fear of people itching for fights. Or at least ones that appear strong, as he can usually tell the difference between when someone is talking big, or is actually strong enough to back it up, if even to a degree at all.
Uchiha Bloodline Name: Sharingan, Mangekyou Sharingan
Bloodline Ability: - Spoiler:
The first of the Sharingan's powers is being able to see the flow of chakra. The Sharingan can tell if a person is under a genjutsu because the person's chakra flow would be irregular.
The Sharingan's second-most prominent ability grants the user an incredible clarity of perception, allowing them to easily recognize genjutsu and different forms of chakra, though not to the same extent as the Byakugan. This also allows the user to pick up on subtle details, enabling them to read lip movements or mimic something like pencil movements. As the Sharingan evolves, gaining more tomoe seals, this ability extends to being able to track fast-moving objects before finally giving some amount of predictive capabilities to the user. However, even though the user may be able to see an attack or know it is coming, their body may not have time to react.
The Sharingan's third and most well-known ability is that it grants the user the ability to memorize any technique that he or she witnesses, apart from other kekkei genkai techniques. The user can memorize ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu with near perfect accuracy, allowing the user to use the techniques as their own, or even modify them to create their own new techniques. In order to reproduce a copied jutsu, however, one must have the necessary skill or ability to perform them. In addition to physical skill and kekkei genkai techniques, the Sharingan cannot reproduce jutsu dependent on other factors, such as summons that the user has not signed a contract with.
The Sharingan's final commonly-used ability is capable of inducing a unique brand of hypnosis that involves suggesting actions and thoughts to the opponent through genjutsu cast by simple eye contact. More advanced Sharingan users can take the hypnosis ability even further to the point where a powerful summons or even Bijuu’s may be controlled. When this was used against summons and the Bijuu’s their eyes took on the tomoe pattern of the users' Sharingan while under hypnotic influence.
The hypnotic ability coupled with the other aspects of the Sharingan, can make the user appear as if they can "see the future". First, the user must perfectly mimic every move their opponent makes and possibly their thoughts and words through careful observation. Then, they suggest an action to the opponent such as hand seals for a jutsu that the opponent and Sharingan user already know and copy that. With these things done, the user can complete the action even before the opponent does, possibly using the Sharingan's genjutsu to confuse or delay them. As with other genjutsu, genjutsu cast by the Sharingan are capable of putting an opponent to sleep, inducing paralysis, replaying memories to someone else, or creating various illusions to deceive someone. The potency of the Sharingan's illusion is dependent on the user's knowledge and skill with implementing genjutsu.
Although the Sharingan consumes the user's chakra while active, the chakra levels that the user must exert is so insignificant that they can keep it active constantly. However, when a Sharingan is transplanted to a non-Uchiha, the chakra drain is significant, leading them to cover it up when not in use, to stop the drain.
The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to several powerful techniques, including the powerful fire jutsu Amaterasu and the almost unbreakable genjutsu Tsukuyomi. The Mangekyō Sharingan erodes the eyesight of its users, eventually causing blindness, which can be prevented by obtaining another pair of Mangekyō Sharingan from a sibling. The new Sharingan is dubbed the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

Clan History: The Uchiha clan descended from the elder of the two sons of the Sage of the Six Paths. The elder brother inherited the Sage's "eyes", powerful chakra and spiritual abilities. When it came time for the Sage to choose a successor, he questioned the two on what course of action they would follow to bring order to the world. The elder believed that might was the way to bring peace, while the younger believed love was the way. The Sage favored the ideal of the younger brother, and therefore designated the younger as his successor, causing the elder to be filled with jealousy and hatefulness. From the younger son descended the Senju clan who would be the eternal rivals of the Uchiha.
Before the founding of the ninja villages, the Uchiha were one of the many mercenary clans for hire. Because of their Sharingan, the Uchiha clan came to be known as one of the two strongest clans, the other being the Senju clan. As time passed the Uchiha grew stronger, conquering whatever clans they came upon, such that, whenever the Uchiha clan was hired for a job, the opposing side would hire the Senju, and vice versa.
The Senju clan, grew tired of the endless fighting, and approached the Uchiha clan with a peace treaty. The leader at that time feared that an alliance would lead the Uchiha to ruin, but his clan disagreed, and he was forced to accept. The two clans came together to stop fighting. The Senju settled in the Cherry Blossom Country, and the Uchiha moved to the Ocean Country to reside on its various islands. What happens next will depend on the generations to come.
History: Jiro started out like every Uchiha around: high expectations, top-quality treatment, and top of the line, exclusive training from hired tutors.
Though for the first few years of his life, things happened as would be expected of an infant. He was pampered to an unnatural degree, past what is healthy, and grew up a bit of a spoiled brat.
He was used to getting everything handed to him, and he'd whine, cry and complain until he got it. The clan, hoping he was worth all the effort put into him, complied without much question though.
They were dead wrong, however.
As he grew, he continued demanding, and just kept at it, and got it all one after another. Spending so much time with his toys and games, he never dedicated much time or studying to the future ninja career that was expected of him.
By the time he got to the ninja academy, though, he was unprepared. Well, to put it as delicately as possible.
He was made the joke of the academy throughout his time there, and basically became the punching bag for everyone, even the females, which only worsened his reputation around there.
One day after class he was beaten up by a group of bullies simply because he was too weak to do anything. He submitted and accepted it, because he knew what they were saying was true. But that was when a girl came to his aid, and beat up the bullies to the point where they were intimidated enough to run away.
She helped him up and dusted him off, followed by a scolding for letting them take advantage of him like that. He thought she was a bully at first too, but she denied the thought, saying she was just concerned about him. She introduced herself as Hikari.
Over the months, which eventually became years, they became close friends, and even hinted to each other occasionally something... more than that. She protected him and helped him study and get better in the art of combat, to the point where he was at least on the level of everyone else.
They had a good friendship, but it was not to last.
One day, they had received word that a rogue ninja that was lurking in the area had taken a hostage. They didn't say whom, but rumor had it that it was Hikari.
Jiro overheard the Jonin talking of a raid to save Hikari, but it would take two days to set everything in motion. He also eavesdropped and learned the location, a forest just outside of the village, where she was being held.
Jiro went there and, after some tracking, found the rogue ninja, whom had Hikari tied up.
What resulted after was a bloody battle, and not to the young boy's advantage. Beaten and on the edge of death, Jiro rushed the rogue ninja, and after an accidental maneuver which the rogue dodgede, ended up killing Hikari instead. The rogue ninja got away in the confusion of it all, and the higher ups arrived on the scene later on after getting word of Jiro's dash for the place. He was 11 years old.
Time went by, and Jiro sort of... gave up. He spent the next few years just... letting everything go. He adopted a new personality after that, which hid all his pained emotions, acting as carefree as he could be. He managed to pass through the exams at an average score, but after that he kind of... disappeared, before he could get assigned a team.
He spent his days just lazing around the general Uchiha clan residence, and after a while, no one really questioned him. He's simply been locking himself up around the complex, not interacting with others as much as he's wanted to.
Though recently, he's been having second thoughts about everything...
RP Sample: "The moon is nice tonight..."
It was like every other night for as long as he could remember since that day. It was the same this time, too. He was just gazing out, like every night. The same strange feeling in his stomach, just like every night...
"Feels like deja vu. Heh..."
He sighed and did a huge stretch, then scratched his back. The night felt so nice, but it was getting too cold out for his tastes. He'd probably just have the same day right down to the letter tomorrow. But then, maybe tomorrow could also be the day when he breaks his habit? He was feeling conflicted, like in the center of a scale with two equal sides.
"I guess I'll just see tomorrow, then."
He let out a small grin, which turned quickly into a frown, and walked back inside the clan residence...
