Personality: At heart, Ashiso is an introvert. Most would say that he isn't a particularly friendly person, but no one would describe him as being particularly mean. He's just very focused - he constantly buries himself in his missions and training, often becoming so involved that he loses himself. This is done intentionally, as the only way he knows to cope with emotional stress is to ignore it, although this doesn't make it go away. Ashiso wants to live in a sort of fantasy world, where he's already an amazing shinobi who is highly respected. But he knows, and it gnaws at him in the back of his mind, that he's going to have to work to get there. And, as much as he tries, he really doesn't like to do work. He often expresses his distaste silently, via facial expressions or sighs, and can come off as very rude or snobbish, when he truly isn't.

Ashiso always has to have something on his plate. His work is never done - when he's completed a mission, he'll take up another one as soon as possible. When he's done training, he'll crack his neck and train some more. This isn't because he necessarily likes doing the extra work, nor is he trying to impress someone - he is just trying to keep himself occupied and distanced from reality. Emotionally, Ashiso is very weak. His escape is his only defense, and he is highly susceptible to being emotionally crippled. Family, friends, etc., are all very easy targets. His low self-esteem leads him to put himself on the bottom, even when he has the ability to rise and become powerful.

Ashiso cracks under pressure. Or, perhaps that is the wrong word - he shatters. Making hard, intense decisions is just a very large challenge for him. It is similar to his emotional weakness; he has no way of getting around it, except through experience which he hopes he never has to endure. However, this to is a double-edged sword, as his constant training and working increase his chances of ending up in these situations.

That isn't to say that Ashiso is weak, though. He does and can become assertive if he absolutely has to, but he does need to work on his composure. Shaky legs and hands aren't rare, and while he is composed in a controlled environment, battles off the training field are much different and he needs to accept that. His nerves need ironing out, but that's a ways off. He has a quiet, spiteful temper - the worst kind. The kind that remembers your face twenty years into the future, and stares at you coldly from the shadows, until you feel the cold blade in your back. Being very quiet and constantly avoiding unnecessary interaction, Ashiso is the kind of person to over think things and develop nasty grudges which stick for a long time, although he is good at hiding them.

All in all, Ashiso has the workings of a great Shinobi - he just needs to build up his confidence through time, experience, and good teaching.

Likes: Ashiso likes quiet, and prefers to be alone. He works better alone, although he knows that he'll have to eventually learn to work in a team. Ashiso also enjoys swimming, and prefers to be near water whenever possible. As much as he tries to avoid the limelight, he certainly likes being the center of attention. When it comes to food, nothing wets Ashiso's mouth like traditional salmon and crab sushi - something he eats often, living near the shore. Ashiso always formulates, in his little fantasy world, the 'perfect' combo - the 'perfect' way to defeat someone, or to generally kicks someone's ass. He rarely gets to actually follow these fantasies through, but in the offset opportunities that he can, he is very happy.

Dislikes: Being a generally calm, quiet person, nothing upsets Ashiso more than a loud, outspoken person. They'd mix like water and oil. Ashiso, naturally, dislikes being forced into making hard decisions and hates being put on-the-spot. Warm, humid days are also on his list of dislikes - they're uncomfortable to do very much in, in his opinion. He also dislikes moving too far away from the village, although he has never truly been too far outside of the village, and much of that time as spent swimming by the docks. His least-favorite meal is anything with chicken.

Motivation: Ashiso's 'nindo', if it could be defined, would be something along the lines of 'Prove my worth to the world'. Inside, Ashiso really wants to be one of the greatest. But he's got his head in the clouds a little too much, and he knows it, yet he continues to train with the visions of grandeur in his mind. His motivation is to make his fantasy a reality. When he's got the attention of the world, and when he's got the courage to stand before it, he knows that he'll have accomplished his goals. That is what he fights for, and that is what he feels he needs.

Fears: Ashiso, really, has a lot of fears. He fears dieing - he imagines it'll be painful - and he fears great loss. He fears losing someone special again, and he fears that he may never get to be the person that he envisions. It doesn't necessarily help when he notices other people are advancing ahead of him, and he won't rest until he can fight that fear off. He fears having to eventually take a life, and he fears the possibility that his error may lead to the death of others. To be honest, he's a very fearful Shinobi, and that may push him down a dark path. For now, though, it hasn't.



Bloodline Name: The Sharingan

Bloodline Ability: The first of the Sharingan's powers is being able to see the flow of chakra. The Sharingan can tell if a person is under a genjutsu because the person's chakra flow would be irregular.

The Sharingan's second-most prominent ability grants the user an incredible clarity of perception, allowing them to easily recognize genjutsu and different forms of chakra, though not to the same extent as the Byakugan. This also allows the user to pick up on subtle details, enabling them to read lip movements or mimic something like pencil movements. As the Sharingan evolves, gaining more tomoe seals, this ability extends to being able to track fast-moving objects before finally giving some amount of predictive capabilities to the user. However, even though the user may be able to see an attack or know it is coming, their body may not have time to react.

The Sharingan's third and most well-known ability is that it grants the user the ability to memorize any technique that he or she witnesses, apart from other kekkei genkai techniques. The user can memorize ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu with near perfect accuracy, allowing the user to use the techniques as their own, or even modify them to create their own new techniques. In order to reproduce a copied jutsu, however, one must have the necessary skill or ability to perform them. In addition to physical skill and kekkei genkai techniques, the Sharingan cannot reproduce jutsu dependent on other factors, such as summons that the user has not signed a contract with.

The Sharingan's final commonly-used ability is capable of inducing a unique brand of hypnosis that involves suggesting actions and thoughts to the opponent through genjutsu cast by simple eye contact. More advanced Sharingan users can take the hypnosis ability even further to the point where a powerful summons or even Bijuu’s may be controlled. When this was used against summons and the Bijuu’s their eyes took on the tomoe pattern of the users' Sharingan while under hypnotic influence.

The hypnotic ability coupled with the other aspects of the Sharingan, can make the user appear as if they can "see the future". First, the user must perfectly mimic every move their opponent makes and possibly their thoughts and words through careful observation. Then, they suggest an action to the opponent such as hand seals for a jutsu that the opponent and Sharingan user already know and copy that. With these things done, the user can complete the action even before the opponent does, possibly using the Sharingan's genjutsu to confuse or delay them. As with other genjutsu, genjutsu cast by the Sharingan are capable of putting an opponent to sleep, inducing paralysis, replaying memories to someone else, or creating various illusions to deceive someone. The potency of the Sharingan's illusion is dependent on the user's knowledge and skill with implementing genjutsu.

Although the Sharingan consumes the user's chakra while active, the chakra levels that the user must exert is so insignificant that they can keep it active constantly. However, when a Sharingan is transplanted to a non-Uchiha, the chakra drain is significant, leading them to cover it up when not in use, to stop the drain.

The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to several powerful techniques, including the powerful fire jutsu Amaterasu and the almost unbreakable genjutsu Tsukuyomi. The Mangekyō Sharingan erodes the eyesight of its users, eventually causing blindness, which can be prevented by obtaining another pair of Mangekyō Sharingan from a sibling. The new Sharingan is dubbed the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan

Clan History: The Uchiha clan descended from the elder of the two sons of the Sage of the Six Paths. The elder brother inherited the Sage's "eyes", powerful chakra and spiritual abilities. When it came time for the Sage to choose a successor, he questioned the two on what course of action they would follow to bring order to the world. The elder believed that might was the way to bring peace, while the younger believed love was the way. The Sage favored the ideal of the younger brother, and therefore designated the younger as his successor, causing the elder to be filled with jealousy and hatefulness. From the younger son descended the Senju clan who would be the eternal rivals of the Uchiha.

Before the founding of the ninja villages, the Uchiha were one of the many mercenary clans for hire. Because of their Sharingan, the Uchiha clan came to be known as one of the two strongest clans, the other being the Senju clan. As time passed the Uchiha grew stronger, conquering whatever clans they came upon, such that, whenever the Uchiha clan was hired for a job, the opposing side would hire the Senju, and vice versa.

The Senju clan, grew tired of the endless fighting, and approached the Uchiha clan with a peace treaty. The leader at that time feared that an alliance would lead the Uchiha to ruin, but his clan disagreed, and he was forced to accept. The two clans came together to stop fighting. The Senju settled in the Cherry Blossom Country, and the Uchiha moved to the Ocean Country to reside on its various islands. What happens next will depend on the generations to come.


History: Ashiso hails from the Uchiha Clan, however his parents were not shinobi. His mother married into the clan and his father, humble and stern, did not wish to pursue a career as a Shinobi. Instead, he was a fisherman - a very proud, respectable fisherman. His family was very well off, his immediate family, at least, because of his Father's fishing prowess. Hauling in big catches just about every day from off the coast of Shippuugakure, Ashiso grew up eating seafood and sustaining himself on his father's steady income. At the age of ten, he was admitted into the Ninja Academy. This was his own decision - not the one his father wanted, but his father respected Ashiso enough to let him make his own choice.

His father was very much a heavy influence on Ashiso, when he was younger. If there was a place where he struggled in his Shinobi training, he didn't go to the other Shinobi in his clan. He went to his father. And his father, really, didn't have a problem with it either. Ashiso wanted to be just like his dad when he grew up, and life was a pretty calm ocean for a very long time. But sometimes, storms brew, waves form, and before you know it, you're swept under.

As his father's reputation increased, the demand for more fish arose. But he'd been fishing for too long off of the coast of Shippuugakure. He needed to expand outward, into the deeper ocean. It was cloudy that day - Ashiso could remember it clear as crystal - and his father didn't let him help out on the boat. With a big hug and a goodbye, almost as if he knew that the storm was going to pick up, he left. And he never came back. They found pieces of his boat, but they never found his body. He wasn't the only one on the boat either - but his body disappeared. No one knows what happened to him, and quite frankly, Ashiso doesn't want to know.

The loss of his father was a heavy burden on Ashiso. He began to focus more on his Academy work, as it was a way for him to forget the fact that his father was gone. And with it, so was his family's income. He and his mother had to retreat to the Uchiha Estates in Shippuu, and live intertwined with the other Uchiha members. After three hard years of work in the academy, Ashiso finally graduated, becoming a very reserved Genin.

Currently, he is looking for a squad to join, and seeing where he can go from there.

Sadly, being a Kage wasn't always what it was cracked up to be.

Not that Tsugeki regretted taking it, but there were days like this where it was just dull. It wasn't about the paperwork - he'd already finished that, it was stacked neatly in a pile on his desk - and it wasn't about the tired feeling that usually gets worn onto you after a long afternoon of sitting down. It was actually quite early in the afternoon, as Tsugeki had only had his lunch about an hour ago, and the sky was relatively clear, from what he could see out of his slightly-iced window.

Today was just slow. It was just not a very exciting day. There were reports coming in, as always, but they weren't truly important. Crop intake was going as normal, small quarrels in the streets were settled, low-ranking missions were completed. But, it was a good thing, right? The only time Tsugeki had to really get his hands dirty was when something was wrong, so if nothing was going wrong, he didn't actually have to do very much.

He stood up, bending backward and grunting a bit as his back cracked. Sitting for too damned long, he thought, gonna stiffen up.... Sighing, he walked towards the door and left the office, walking down the long corridor that lead to the lobby. He waved and smiled to the shinobi and villagers alike as he strolled. Such a lovely day this was turning out to be, hm?

When he reached the lobby, he looked around and smiled. There was a chilled breeze from the entrance, but it didn't phase Tsugeki at all. In fact, it was almost calming. Relaxing... man, maybe he needed a day off? It wasn't like there was a lot of work to do of late, anyway. Crossing his arms, and watched and smiled at the passing ninja, until something caught his eye.

It was a bulletin board. A rather large one at that, which hadn't been moved in years. He remembered it, in fact, from when he was just a Chunin - the ages haven't been kind to it, but it was a nice sight. There were messages and notes and announcements and last-minute missions tacked all over it, and he skimmed them over.

Let's see: someone needed the snow shoveled off of their roof... another wanted to announce a faculty meeting for the chunin in the academy... oh, but what is this?

The current class of students had recently graduated! Fresh off the boat, huh? Brand new genin with brand new headbands - must feel pretty nice right about now. Probably being grouped into their squads. Three-man-cell squads, if he remembered correctly. Didn't he sign up for that...? Yes, yes he did. He remembered it now - he wanted to get back into the spirit of it all.

He turned, standing proudly and looking out at the light crowd. His mind raced with thoughts about the new genin. What did they bring to the Shinobi table that the last generation hadn't? It was so exciting, and that was the reason why he was fixated on doing it, he decided.

At least it would get it him out of the office, right?
