The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Shinoe wasn't too surprised to hear that Miyako was kept locked up by her father. She wouldn't be eluding her guards if she could come and go as she pleased. But it seemed that the girl misunderstood her sarcasm and explained that the reason for her father's actions was due to former loss of her mother. Shinoe nodded, it made sense. She wasn't one to pity others overly so, she just accepted it their misfortune and moved on, like she did most things.
The Ookami clan member's subject change was wanted and yet not wanted as Shinoe thought of how to answer, but before she could reply, Eden spoke up about her 'homeland'. Nodding, the brunette added, "Definitely cold. And wet. Fishing is done more commonly in the warmer seasons but ice fishing has to be done year round or else you'd go hungry. I'm not so sure about best in the world, as I haven't been all over the world. I've heard that said to buyers, though I think the fish around Shippugakure might rival ours. I particularly am sick and tired of fish, I've been eating them all my life."
She shrugged, hoping to change the subject as she brought up, "What about you two? You've lived in Tsuki all your lives right? What's it like? I've heard tails of endless festivals." Looking between the two shinobi with open curiosity. Might as well find out more about the country in which she'd be staying.
Eden's information of Hyougagakure did help a little, but that wasn't the information she wanted however. Shinoe herself originating from there, had a brief and yet enough information for Miyako to picture what it was like over there. It could be something like Tsuki, a town that's just covered in ice, mountains, everything that she desired to see for herself. "What about you two? You've lived in Tsuki all your lives right? What's it like? I've heard tales of endless festivals." Yeah, she had heard that tok and snuck out at night to enjoy it herself without her old man even finding out. Well, mainly because she ha substituted herself with a pillow and everything and used Henge incase any of her escorts who were off duty spotted her. "Well it's definitely fun for sure, and there were lots of game and snacks. And if you'd like, I could show you around sometimes, if you don't mind those little stalker of mine following us." she replied cheerfully, leaving out the part about sneaking out in the middle of the night and all that. Well, that wasn't her fault to begin with. It wa always the old man's decision, so who was she to go all out against him even if she could practically beat him at ninjutsu. As known to Eden, Miyako had somehow gotten... Confused of where they were going, ending up in the middle of nowhere. The heck is wrong with you brain?! Even a blind person could navigate around with just a walking stick. Come on, you're an Ookami, one who's supposed to be good with tracking people and navigating! Indeed, Miyako had a flawless talent in losing her way, part of the reason those escorts were assigned to her. She glanced around here and there, starting to get a litle frustrated. How was she even going to prove herself to that father of her's if she couldn't even find her way around?
Eden stopped and stood straight up, laughing at how he had realized Miyako had led them astray so easily. He was enjoying the moment so much as he even went as far as pointing at Miyako and laughing though only in a joking way. He couldn't help himself. It was just too funny to pass up. He knew how Miyako was in terms of her sense of direction, so he intentionally fell back and followed them and waited for her to take a wrong way while at the same time timing how long it would take for her to have realized that we were going the wrong way. He then spoke, still laughing somewhat but keeping his body steady and relaxed so that he could dodge whatever Miyako might try to do this time as she usually does when he makes fun of her like this. Then again, she might act differently. Won't know until it happens, I guess. "You just realized that we were going the wrong way? As soon as we left the harbor you took a wrong turn. You are truly horrible when it comes to directions. Don't worry, I know the way back. Miyako, make sure your eyes are trained on me so you don't get lost again." The last two sentences would be reserved for after the comments and attacks by Miyako had finished. He continued laughing, though not nearly as hard as when they had stopped and she had just realized that they had gotten lost.

Shinoe was actually surprised to hear that all the rumors and stories were true about Tsukigakure having constant festivals. It seemed all too whimsical, though perhaps she needed that. She was sure that with all of the commotion going on in this country that it would be hard to track one little genin shinobi. As Miyako offered to show her around another time she nodded. "I wouldn't mind them. I'd like to get to know my way around the country I'm staying in anyway." Though it appeared that Miyako wasn't the best of people to count on to know her way around, even in her own village. The brunette shook her head in disbelief as they paused because the girl was obviously lost. But when Eden's laughter rang out as he pointed at the lost Ookami heir, Shinoe's hands tightened into fists unconsciously. As he spoke of leading them back and following him closely so they wouldn't get lost again, she forcibly loosened her fists, her expression never having changed from her usual stoic mask which honestly looked more like a passive glare than neutrality.

Having heard Eden's mocking of her, Miyako stuck her tongue out at him in a rather childish glare, shrugging it off for the sake of Shinoe. "Come on, cut me some slack. I'm like, partially blind. Besides, I don't go out that often remember? So lead the way Eden." she said, trying to reason with him. He just had to embarrass her infront of someone whom she'd just met, and might have even left a bad impression of her. Thinking about that just made Miyako even more angered, and she was practically clutching onto her fists before she relaxed them, fixing her gaze ahead of her. She couldn't help but feel very disappointed in herself, seeing that she herself was born and raised in this village, not to mention that she came from the Ookami clan that was presumed to have good tracking and navigating skills. Seems she wasn't quite like her other clansmen, and even her little cousin would have no problems finding his way around the entire village. "So... Uh... How long do you plan to stay here Shinoe?" Miyako questioned, hoping she wasn't intruding into anything and what not. She guessed she might as well familiarize herself with Shinoe to know what she should expect in future from her.

Eden couldn't help but feel bad for humiliating Miyako in front of the new girl Shinoe who had just entered Tsukigakure via ship for the first time. He knew all too well what those things do to her when spoken aloud. With that in mind he'd turn around and walk over to Miyako and become genuinely sincere as he would sit on the ground at Miyako's feet and look up at her. He did this every time he felt truly bad for something. He did this because it put the victim in a position of power and dominion over the culprit which was him. Especially in these cases. As he sat on the ground, he thought of the other times he had made fun of Miyako about her horrid sense of direction and he felt horrible about it. He truly did. It often made him hit himself later on because he was being an idiot and being thoughtless. He would then look up at Miyako sincerely and in a serious, apologetic tone of voice he would speak to her; a gentle aura, that was his own, spreading throughout the part of town they were in. "I am sorry, Miyako. I did it again. I am such an idiot. I don't seem to learn. Another ticket you shall have. Anything you want me to do, just ask. You know the rest. You have what, four of them now?"

Shinoe glanced at Miyako as she displayed her childish side by sticking her tongue out at Eden before saying that he should lay off on her because of her blindness. She felt that the rich girl became rather down because of the subject and considered leaving it, but she was curious. "How can someone be partially blind? Or do you mean blind in only one eye?" To her, both eyes looked perfectly fine but it could have been a curse or something like that that wouldn't leave much of an obvious trace. At the dark haired girl's own question, the genin looked up at the sky as the walked for a moment before admitting, "I haven't thought that far. Long as I can I guess. Don't see a reason to leave yet and I want to become a shinobi so I'm guessing that'll take quite a few years."
She shrugged but then stopped when she realized that neither of the other two shinobi were walking with her and looking back she saw Eden sitting down in the middle of the street right in front of Miyako. He spoke apologies and how he was an idiot before going on about tickets and having four of them and doing anything she wanted. Eyes wide with disbelief and confusion, Shinoe looked between the girl and man, trying to figure things out. Were they together or something? She wasn't even sure what he was apologizing for. And so she simply stood there awkwardly, a few feet away. Looking around for distraction she rocked back and forth on her heels and tried not to imagine what weird things the rich girl might ask Eden to do.
Eden had somehow sat himself down infront of her without warning, something which was a little bit dangerous to do. If she hadn't spotted him do so, she would've stepped right on that guy, probably breakage something if she hadn't ripped off her heels. "Oh geez Eden, no worries about that. No need for the ticket thing anyway, apology accepted." she didn't like the idea of bossing someone around, and signalled for Eden to get off the ground. Did he not know how dirty it was after people had walked all across it? Besides, it would totally ruin his reputation and people would think he'd gone mad or something. A grown man in his 20s sitting infront of a teenager who was younger than him by 7 years. Classic. Shinoe somehow had gotten ahead of them by then, and had those eyes of hers opened widely. Uh oh, looks like he just made a fool of himself.
"Uh... I'm partially blind as in color blind. Y'know, everything's like all colorless and stuff?" she was apparently trying to change the subject with an answer to Shinoe's question, a lop-sided grin in place of where her pouting lips were. Okay, well, it was pretty much obvious that she was up to something, for she had this habit of giving lop-sided grins whenever she got nervous. Ah heck, everyone had their flaws, right? Take Eden for example, not that she meant any offense to him. He was rather peculiar and creepy when it came to apologizing, and he had a weird way of doing it, and her old man, well, he was a little too protective of her. In case her little subject change didn't work, she came up with another question directed to Shinoe, asking her if she knew what colors looked like. She'd pretty much asked a bunch of people this same question, but she couldn't help it. Asking was pretty much the only way she could 'see' the colors of the world, and she always envied those who didn't have any visual problems at all. Curse those stupid genes she inherited from her maternal side of the family.

Eden accepted Miyako's kind words and stood up in a single breath and bound, turning around at the same time toward Shinoe who had walked a little past him and Miyako the Ookami. He watched the two plainly and calmly, listening to Miyako changing up the atmosphere at the moment. Reminded him much of the time he had with Saigai. There were times when the two would be traveling throughout the country without saying a word and then they would randomly start destroying things around them to sort of break up the silence. They usually laughed and talked for hours after breaking whatever was around them, no matter what it was they might have been breaking. Then again, not everyone could be like him and Saigai when it came to silence. That would be extremely odd and rather creepy. Even for Eden. He stood silent, waiting for what was to be said next. He had no reason to speak for the moment, so he kept his mouth shut tight until the time was correct enough for him to speak to the two girls.

Apparently Miyako wasn't as used to Eden subjugating himself as Shinoe had previously thought and she wasn't entirely sure if that was a good thing or not. Watching as the Ookami hurriedly motioned for the older shinobi to rise and get off of the ground, she then waited for her companions to catch up before continuing. "...Four tickets? Do you do this often then Eden?" The brunette asked in an openly curious voice of the jounin. She wondered why he would subjugate himself to one so under his level. Or maybe it was because of her standing in the clan?
Looking back to Miyako as she answered her question, Shinoe blinked and stared at the girl's eyes. "Whoa, that must be weird. So everything is in black and white and grey for you?" She couldn't even imagine the world without color. To not know the shade the sea was at midday or to see a sunset. "Have you always been like that or did something happen?"
Subject: Re: Docking {Locked & Closed} Thu May 23, 2013 8:53 am
Shinoe seemed to be rather surprised for the Ookami girl, not even seeming to know what it was like to be colorblind. "Well... Yeah everything's quite plain actually, it's almost like staring at a chessboard, well, if a chessboard is all colorless as far as I've heard. I'm not really sure what colors are anyway." her voice trailed off as she took a quick glance at Eden, who was keeping quiet again. True enough, the quiet habit thing of his often creeped people out, but it didn't really work that way on Miyako. Instead, she didn't mind it at all, though she would like it if he actually spoke more often. "Have you always been like that or did something happen?" another question escaped from Shinoe's lips yet again, directed toward Miyako. "It's a hereditary thing, from the maternal side. It's pretty lame actually, 'cause I can't even see the world properly, not even the colors of the sunrise. I'm hoping for a cure to this, which is impossible as my dad says. I disagree, though." a simple and rather pitiful sounding explanation, but heck, there was nothing to cry about. She still held on to that belief of hers, hoping that she could at least have a peek at colors. Oh how she envied those who had perfect eyesight, and would've given up her rich and luxurious lfe just to see how beautiful colors were. The thing she wanted to see most were flowers. Yes, those colorful pollen-infested things that always freshened the air that everyone breathed in, except for a few pungent smelling ones, like te rafflesia and all.
The destination of theirs was just up ahead, and Miyako sped up her pace a little, wanting to get Shinoe registered as a Genin as soon as she could. No, she wasn't rushing to get this over with so she could go home, but she wanted Shinoe to be registered as a Genin so she could drag her around the village for a little tour. That is, with Eden of course, in case they got lost. Well, getting lost wouldn't be a problem actually, since her sense of smell was just as good as that of a hound's, both to which she enjoyed and hated. She could smell and track people, yes, but if there was something awfully stinky, oh man, she'd be the first one out the doors.

Eden laughed and scratched his head, ashamed of that fact. Yes, he had done this quite often, though more often than not it just slipped out and he didn't realize what he had said. This time however was intentionally done so he felt even worse for the fact that he was trying to make fun of the girl Miyako for her color blindness. It was awful for him to do so and he knew it was but at the same time, it wasn't something he could particularly help considering his social awkwardness. He still was not used to conversing with people around him and at times said things that are blunt, mean, or just out of place in whatever conversation he might have been in and whatever time. He wanted to change but he didn't know who he could confide in to help him change in terms of being social in everyday society. Too often he was secluded, isolated, and even shunned from the people around him. It was nothing short of normal for him to feel so awkward being around other people so....casually. "Yeah. I have done it quite often. No need for the tickets then. Never used them anyway. Yeah, I'm kind of an idiot when it comes to these things, haha. Sorry for my rudeness, Miyako. I will do my best to change my....awkwardness." The last word was hesitated from his lips but not in an awkward way or stuttering manner. He simply paused a moment before speaking the word 'awkwardness.' He then listened as Miyako explained her color blindness and how lame it was to not be able to see the colors that filled the world around her. He kept silent, then and continued listening to the conversation waiting again for the proper time to speak.
