Personality: Yuen is a collected person who does not do something without calculating it. In her head everything is a number or a derivative of something that can come from a formula. When she speaks, she speaks almost cryptically and uses a smaller vocabulary than most though filled with larger meaning behind such words and conjunctions that some do not ever understand from her. Yuen is well versed in the history of the land: how it was forged and how it saves and takes lives. She does not hate anyone, she cannot due to her morals per say; rather, she dislikes something to the point of making it a negative number in her calculations.

Though being seen as such, this calculation of negatives and positives, her personality derives itself of doing the right thing when no one is looking, making herself have high standards of integrity. With such a high standard, she is at a loss of finding the “perfect” one for herself while feeling an equivalent to envy to those who have. She possesses a strong will whereas the process to break her down will take more than a few parlor tricks to make her crack. For others, no matter how wrong they may be, she will risk her neck to help and save them no matter what.

Yuen believes in not her brawn, her strength of arm but the fact of willpower to assist and perform well in the manners of which she would use her medical jutsu, the jutsu that has created her manner of nindo and ninja way. To protect those younger, to aid those weaker, and to keep her lessons close to heart. This is the only way she has lived so long with the regrets that could have torn her apart on the inside if she could not have the resilience or her life’s way. Her life was hers and even though she is collected, calculating, and unsocial she will always believe that integrity and belief trumps all wrong.

Yuen was a lonely child since birth. Because of this, she doesn't see many people as people but in a sense as animals. They are all pitiful beings who should rot in her mind and for this, she plans the destruction of most of them. She was mistreated and always sought after respect and due to this as well, she is mentally scarred to never form close ties with anyone, unless it is someone she can get to know on a more personal level. With her as she is now; she plots the deaths of many as though they are pawns and issues out as much harm as possible to many of these said "peoples."

Likes: She likes sand for it is clingy to the sweaty foot, due to her always being bear footed, and is always warm to the skin. Reminding her of the pleasant memories, they should have always been. Death is a second favorite due to her having killed many of the old and new ones of the world. Death is a friend, and will always be there to guide those whom are born with horrid futures. The third favorite is pain. Since being raped the average pain is not that bad anymore as now it is so much nicer to feel the body being harmed and teaching others of how it can help you in your lives just to know some pain.

Dislikes: Her dislikes are pretty oblique but there are reasons to them much like her likes. She hates those who are happier than can be. Happiness is an illusion of what there should be and that is pain. Happiness deludes the senses and to have it is demeaning to one's own self. Her second is remorse which could also mean guilt. To feel guilt is beyond the sense of human as it shows that those who feel it are so low and bottled inside themselves that they can never get back out. Now the third dislike can be reasoned by saying she hates watching a loved one parish while she would much rather be the one to end that loved ones life but if he/she dies then it is just their fault for not being strong enough.

Motivation: To leave behind a legacy, one that will never fade from the memories one touches and one that will always remain in the hearts of those around her. In most retrospect she wishes to start an orphanage for she knows there will be war and when there is she hopes that the beast inside her will help her one day abolish the war and aid in providing care to war orphans much how her life never was granted.

Fears: The beast consuming her soul, her will, and her mind. The very fact that it would do this is already there however she hopes to never go through it again, to be raped again, and inadvertently be tormented again in her life. She also fears being alone, for even though she is a lonely person she knows the value of others who are true friends.

History: Yuen Kanai was born of a family in the Land of Jungle where she lived quite well although she was gifted the beast Rokubi no Byakku. A gift or a curse she was unknown to which one this would give to her. Overall, she was well treated when she was younger and hardly left out either which in itself was far from the norm for Jinchuriki in her opinion of the matter. Her seal placed directly on her left inner thigh, as she was the one who became a part of the sealing circle of the beasts.

The child, Yuen, entered a mock academy at four years of age, and though this was a young age, her parents felt it would bring out her gift. Her gift was healing and its inner workings, able to turn most unknown substances from her cuts outward into paralyzing maneuvers that would not pester or diminish her own wellbeing. Yet this also was used to bring out her helpfulness to others with such gifts. She would effortlessly use it well and when there is a time that she did not, there was always someone taking care of her.

Yuen got in many fights while in the academy. She was teased a lot for her red hair and odd red eyes, being called a demon on more than one occasion. Yuen would soon realize that crying from some words and punches were not becoming of a ninja, as she would use her abilities to get her revenge. This was at the age of five she would use the ability of healing to be perverted and was found completely paralyzing someone. His fourteenth vertebra was crushed, which ended up with a diagnosis of the inability to sustain itself under his weight. Since then the boy has been in the hospital. Four days later was the exam and she failed it since she could not perform a transformation jutsu.

One year later, she is now six, she will go for that examination again and this time it was a clone/fight exam. She was to beat all the others into submission before they could get her. Likewise they all targeted her first but she was by far ahead of the game since their clones were all just illusions where as she could trap the main people beforehand with slippery puddles of water as they would topple over the other academy students making her and two others the only ones to pass this academy exam. She would be put on a team with Shinji and Motoko. With these two partners they would go and be tested by a Jounin to see teamwork.

Sadly, the Jounin was in agony after the fight as they had used their teamwork to escape out of a trap and then fight the Jounin. The Jounin was demoted as they were now led by a Jounin by the name of Gonjet. Gonjet would examine their past fight and deem them worthy of genin as they all advanced and he was now their leader, as they would all go on several missions together. These missions were things like dog walking, guarding a caravan, picking herbs, and watching the village gate. With all of these missions together Yuen felt as though she were finally happy.

Four years later, now ten, Yuen would enter the Chuunin Exams with her partners, as they would go to the rendezvous point for the Chuunin Exam. While in the exam halls, they were tested mentally, emotionally, and physically. The mentally was a test on how well you could go about to cheat without getting caught. Of course, Yuen did not bother with this, as she already knew the answers of these questions for her being a wiz of studies and intellectual facts. The emotional challenge was the next thing and that was ‘if you believed you had failed the test you were to leave with your partners’.

Many squads left but Yuen's and seven others did not leave as they all stayed put. They would all go in a tournament against each other while being watched by the mock village leader and two council members. There were three high officials total. Yuen did not prove she had the skills as an all around ninja though she protected her team with medical ninjutsu while they would use their techniques to throttle the enemy into submissions. Yuen would be perfectly fine with harming the foes but she chose to do a smaller thing and leave them in submission where they could not walk or use hand signs.

Out of the three only Yuen was chosen not to elevate to Chuunin and had been given her first assignment alone. She was to train in the deserts of the south while the village would wait to call on her for other adhering tasks. She failed to grasp the fact that this was a trap, as she would dumbly walk into it. She would be given a home inside a desert cave with furnishings that went all too well. Yuen would find her troubles would just begin as her chakra was sealed while inside the home. When she realized it happened it had already been too late as she was attacked by three ninja who would rape her and almost kill her.

While being raped she had peeled one seal away that was hidden inside the sand of the cave as she would instinctively use her jutsu to send a pool of acid out of the ground as they would pierce through two of the three. The third would try to perform a sealing art but he was already dead when it had happened to him as his body was cut in two halves by a few stabs of his partners' kunai that made him nothing and the other two nothing. At this day, she claimed revenge on the makeshift mock village.

You may be wondering what happened to the child by now and this tragic child's life is snuffed by his mother. She kills him after she bears him. She thinks the child is a horrible curse and for that, the house she lived in for nine months became that child's grave as she would then head towards the village in long awaited destruction. She would train in the desert now for five more years as this training would bolster her inner demon and ninjutsu arts on herself, as she would use medicinal herbs to heal her scarred body from the rape she has had.

Yuen would cloak her body as she infiltrated the village's outskirts where she was born and with her power she would find out where the village's leader and ninja were all at due to them all being there for the weak. She would sneakily use different shadows that covered this village's floor like a cloud of plague as she would travel discreetly, killing all in cold blood, taking out their vocal chords so there were no screams at all. Upon killing each and every one of them, she would leave for a new home, though injured as she had suffered so many traumas afterwards that most of her memory of the techniques she could use was erased.

For the next year, she spent in search of a new home. Dancing within a caravan while that earned her cash for a living, in the future she merely traversed the lands till coming to a field of grass. She would travel through it and enter the gates of a small town where she would then be asked if she were a runaway ninja, possibly an experiment and from that was asked to be a part of the genin force. Upon proving worthy, she would indeed be allowed into the forces themselves. She was now a ninja... of the Storm Village.

Many months have passed since the disaster that struck the mock village. It was named the “Night no one screamed” and justly named for there were no screams that night. She was never found out for being the culprit either which was good since she was not one to keep that in full mind of her own antics. She was merely a young ninja who had found her way back home to the storm after being lost so long or at least that was her alibi and it did fit perfectly for her. Yet when she had joined this new village her past was unknown, her old abilities unknown as her own knowledge of the night was sealed in her unconscious as no one would know she was neither the murderer nor a jinchuriki.

Yuen continued to train, effectively during her first six months within this village and as the time passed, she would train more effectively throughout. She would get to know the villagers, the history, and lately the Kage just by word of mouth. As it so happened the girl known as Yuen was slowly developing a word about herself, this word happened to reach many words and the name "Blood Maiden" stuck with her since its start. She was a masochist, she loved the sight of blood and she would develop the name to the fullest of its capabilities. She would enter many high-ranking missions and as these missions came about she would soon become a full fledge genin of the village, exceeding her expectations here as she would therein become a hell of a better individual with the new prowess of hers.
