Personality: Fuji is a highly intellectual person, who is always out for new knowledge, curious to understand the ways of the world around him. His primary concerns are generally associated with puppets, and the sciences behind chakra. However, he is a ninja just like anyone else he's commonly associated with. Because of this he can be a bit hard to understand, having a very confidential feel to him. He's a bit cynical in the aspect that be believes that people are generally out for themselves most of the time.

Fuji is also out for the relationships with people, very lonely and looking to change it. As such, it is not uncommon for him to flirt with other people. His odd preference for neither group makes him a bit creepy, as he doesn't actually inquire of another's sexuality before flirting with them, finding that question weirder than the flirting. Because Fuji is like this, people think he's a joker, as he has follow-through issues. Not that he doesn't want to follow through, but when his flirting actually works, it throws him off. He is indeed a lusty fellow, though awkward.

In a combat situation, his priorities are situated in the following order, team, mission, enemy, self. As such, he is usually the guy trying to hold the enemies off for his team while they complete the mission. He does this with zero regard for his well being, so he is most often the one hurt on a mission, though he does fight with a strategy in mind. Still, he is a fun guy to go on missions with, because he is always willing to entertain the team with most means necessary, including puppet shows, jokes, bell-based songs, he'll even sing if you would condemn your ears to it.

Likes: Fuji's primary likes are situated in puppets, friends, and knowledge. He had always found that puppets were just surrogate friends through his relatively sheltered childhood, and was proficient in the entertainment and realism uses of them since a young age. He spent most of his free time learning about the world he lived in, and easily began to question things more than understand them, wanting solid proof and knowledge. Since starting to become a ninja, he'd always wanted to be everyone's friend, and fall in this 'love' that books he'd read told of.

Dislikes: Fuji's primary dislikes are situated in bullies, the ignorant, and the cocky. These are personality types all, and come with their own set of repulsive actions that sicken Fuji. Bullies beat people up and make others feel bad about themselves, so that they can feel good about themselves, and Fuji outright hates that. The ignorant are people who don't want knowledge because they refuse to admit they are wrong, which confuses and sickens Fuji. And the cocky are people who usually don't deserve their confidence, which also confuses Fuji.

Motivation: Fuji is in the game for two reasons, to gain knowledge and make friends. He is nowhere near out of either to obtain. He wants to completely understand the world around him, and become proficient in all its ways. And he wants people to like him. Not too much to ask for, right?

Fears: Absolute loneliness is the greatest fear that Fuji has. This would be found in the breaking of his puppets and his friends not being there. This alone would bring him to a near suicidal state of absolute depression and horror. This may cause him to completely stop everything he is doing and try to fix his puppets on the scene, merely to cope.

History: Fuji was born in Kusamuragakure into a family of ninjas. They were poor due to raising a kid and because they were of a low rank, they found themselves unable to take care of him themselves after a while. They couldn't afford a babysitter, so Fuji's parents taught him to read very quickly with some odd ninjutsu, and then gave him a practice puppet as a toy to play with. Because of this, Fuji would spend hours on end reading books from a library, because he was able to and all he knew were how to play with a puppet, and how to read.

His early life consisted of reading, hugging a toy for contact comfort, and eating premade bento meals from the ninja fridge. From his books he actually learned some of the basics to puppet play, and learned easily how to entertain himself until he was tired. Utilizing his small and young chakra pool, he was already helping himself along the way of a ninja. Chakra strings were easy though. From the books, he learned to be clever, he learned how to be romantic, he learned the definition of friendship. All the while, he was so awkward about it all, because books are never realistic.

Throughout his young life, he thought that books were important scripts to know, that mommies said 'I love you' and that damsels were always in distress. When his family struck it wealthy at last when his father took out a nice bounty from the bingo book, he would finally become enrolled in the ninja academy. It was there that he learned that people in fact did not follow a script. The world had become a bunch of variables now instead of a clean cut path. There were methods with which to defeat bullies and bad people, methods to get information from people that they normally wouldn't give out. He learned much from his academy days.

Upon graduating, he decided that it was, awkwardly enough, a wonderful time to begin attempting to 'fall in love', like in the books. This was one part because he was curious as to the sensations the books portrayed like butterflies in one's stomach, and another part because he wanted to harness the power of friendship like they do in the books, which is even more powerful when love is involved. He took up specialization in the thing he knew best, and advanced it a bit. The rest is to happen.

RP Sample: Fuji would step in between the tall ninja and his team mate, placing an arm outwards to tell this person that he was blocking them off. "Your fight's right here," he would say flipping open a latch on his massive suit case. The tall ninja would, of course, scoff at this challenge as they would pull a kunai out and try to end it quickly with a dash. As the blades point was aiming to be lodged in Fuji's throat he would step back a moment, and slam his suit case into the ninja's arm, knocking the weapon out of his hand.

Fuji would give a rather confident smile, and do a twirling attack, aiming to smack the man with his suit case having momentum built up from the spin. The ninja, however jumped over the attack, and landed on foot on the suit case's horizontal orientation, giving of a satisfying pop as he did so. Fuji would stumble back to attain his balance again, but fell on his rear. He would look up at the tall ninja walking towards him menacingly, getting ready for the finishing blow. Fuji would brush some hair out of his eyes as he would smile, as his suit case landed on the ground, open. The tall ninja's rose an arm to attack with a new kunai, only to find himself held in a full nelson by some strange automaton.

"All according to plan," spoke Fuji, as the man would struggle, a strange combination of rattling and chiming beginning. "You see, I was counting on at least some impact being made on that spinning attack, to open the second latch on the case. It's a bit of a troublesome latch that requires some percussion to get unlatched recently. I should get that fixed, but you're showboating cost you the match," he would say. The chiming would suddenly cause the tall ninja to stop moving, and Fuji would take his kunai from his hands, and ram it into them man's diaphragm, killing him. "Good. I was lucky he didn't jump high enough or I might have died there," he would say releasing the corpse from his puppet.
