The islands in Ocean Country have been celebrating the arrival of the next Umikage, Saizo. The long bridge leading to SHIPPUUGAKURE NO SATO has been closed for outsiders because they wish to celebrate this moment with Ocean Country natives only.
As usual, the Storm Country has been hosting the Asgard Games to welcome their Kanetsukage, Cornelia. It's a double special occasion because Cornelia is also the first female Kanetsukage. She has been picked for her courage, loyalty and outstanding power by the BOUFUUGAKURE NO SATO elders.
Not only that, but the Cherry Blossom Country has become relieved as well. It seems that everyone is slowly picking up after the war now. KUSAMURAGAKURE NO SATO proudly presented their new Sakurakage, Altair.
TSUKIGAKURE NO SATO is still thriving on the merchants coming in and out. They have not experienced anything special lately. Their wealth has remained the same as they were not forced to invest into shinobi unlike the others.
On the cold isles of the Blizzard Country, HYOUGAGAKURE NO SATO has still refused to create a free traveling policy. Some habits never change. To protect their traditions, they have even warned outsiders to not interfere with their matters.
Now that everyone is picking up again, who will come out on top?

Personality: Saigai is very simple to understand. There really isn't much to comprehend about him. He loves fighting, for one thing. He always finds ways to get into fights and to find strong opponents. He always feels a need to find stronger people than him so that he can become ever stronger so to be able to protect his childhood friend, Eden.
Despite his need and want for fighting, he does in fact have a sense of honor and respect as well. For instance he has utter respect for his friend Eden due to the many years they have had each other's backs. In terms of honor, he does not believe in killing unless he is provoked to do so. Once he has won a fight, he chooses to spare the life of the opponent so that the other may regain his own honor so that he may rise again to challenge Sagai, though many regard his sense of honor as more along the lines of pity which usually forces his hand to kill because that person decided to continue fighting.
Likes: Saigai has a very uncaring attitude to most things, so he doesn't really have anything he really likes except for fighting and being with his lifelong friend, Eden. Aside from that, he is very laid back and doesn't care much for anything else, which most people take as that he hates everything else even though that is nowhere near the truth. At the same time, though, as the same with his friend Eden he grew an appreciation for Tsukigakure's youth. Even though he looked scarier than his friend, children still came up to him and talked to him.
Dislikes: He doesn't really dislike anything either due to his rather uncaring nature. However, he does have distaste toward liars, weaklings who don't desire to get stronger, and people who seek to harm for no reason. This is due to his sense of honor; he is duty-bound from his past to shape up those who have no true strength. True strength being the will to persevere through all manner of hardships and allow it to mold one into a stronger being.
Motivation: All of his motivation for really everything stems from two things: Eden and getting stronger. Eden always has Saigai's back and has always been around for him, so Saigai in a way feels indebted to Eden for being such a true friend. He wants to get stronger so that he can feel accomplished and also so that he can remain useful in battle alongside Eden. Besides, he likes destroying things. What better way to be able to do that than be at the Oujoukage's side.
Fears: His only fear is that he lose Eden. This is because of the bonds they had forged with each other since childhood and this fear is also the cause for his "need" and "want" to become stronger. It is not necessarily a fear, but he more so simply doesn't want to die. Reason being he can't do whatever he wants if he's six feet under.
Xanadu
Bloodline Name: Meikai no shugo-sha (Guardians of the Netherworld)
Bloodline Ability:
Spoiler:
Members of this clan are half-phantom and half-human. Although this is true, it also caused their Chakra pool to be completely removed from their body and deposited at a mysterious orb-like spirit of varying colour. The spirit orb can only be seen only by the members of the clan or someone who has seen death happen in front of their eyes. They have a very high level of concentration.
Genin, Chuunin: During this level, they have to concentrate and absorb chakra from their spirit half. This makes it quite troublesome for those who want to be quick on their toes in battle. Although, they can use E~C rank jutsu’s with ease.
Sp. Jounin, Jounin, S-rank: During this level, jutsu’s ranging from A~S rank will backfire on the caster if it involves chakra but to counter this disability members of the clan are able to merge with their spirit half for only 15 posts. Thus, letting them access Jutsu’s from A~S rank. Note that if the jutsu involves absorbing chakra from ones spirit half, it would require two posts for A~S rank unless stated. This can be used once per topic.
Below states the weapons that can be carried by the clan members. Note that the weapons are passed down from their forefathers (Explained in history).
Location: Scattered Weapons: Kindness and Gluttony
Clan History:
Spoiler:
Long ago, war broke out. Countless lives lost in the blood stained grounds, bodies rotting, souls left unrest. Scarlet flames swirl in wake, devouring anything in its path. Merciless. Unforgiving. It comes after each battle. It’s fate? To cleanse! It’s desire? To give peace to those who have passed on.
In truth the clan was just scattered bits of nomadic people. They have no intension nor relation to what happened to the outside world. They preferred to throw everything not normal to them and live in peace as they travelled from place to place, gaining knowledge on much of the geography of the world, not to mention some well hidden ancient temples, shires and hideouts. They also have wide knowledge over many rumours, myths and legends that held were around at that time.
Among every mystery, one of them stood out the most. The legend of the temple of judgement, Tamashī no handan. Although, none of the seven members founding members of the clan went there as of yet, the legend spread like a virus, unrelenting, ever putting people in a trance state of desire. Everyone thought it was salvation and eternal bliss that will be found inside but the clan founders stayed away, fearful that the corruption will get to them.
Alas, they couldn’t escape the fate that which the temple already predicted. Soon, all of the ten leaders and their families meet at the temple. The famed mystery of the temple of black and white. One side it was rotting with darkness, malice and sin, the other with pureness, clarity and virtue. Stunning it was, but something or someone stood out. A certain elderly caretaker, stood to greet them. Unknowingly, their life had already been changed when they first came to know about the temple.
Time passed and each of the founding members changed, their families were told to wait for them far away, at the nearby river they all meet. Soon a ritual started, the caretaker revealed to be an immortal lady named Shikieiki Yamaxanadu, her job to get people to help her judge the living and send souls to their final resting place. She granted each of them a power they will never forget. Separate souls representing seven colours, their heirs having the colours of their respecting souls and weapons each depicting a vice and a virtue. Their goal was simple; to help people leave behind regrets and finally leave the world in peace.
Shocked by their predicament, each of them went down the path and the only way to move on was forward, but slowly, each member found themselves ever tied to this path. Unable to run away. “The truth is that peace is always within..” Shikieiki said before the seven founding members left the temple and it will forever stay the same as time goes on for eternity.
History:
Birth
It was on April 4th that Sagai Enjo was born into the world of life and death. From his birth came his mother’s death and so began the endless cycle that would forever be ingrained into his mind. After having been born from his mother’s death, Saigai was raised by his father who was a well-respected member of the Xanadu as well as a famous shinobi in general. From his father, he learned to survive most any climate throughout the ninja world. He and his father traveled often in order to show Saigai the different ways other people lived and how large the world really was. At the young age of six years, his father began teaching him the art of the Kenjutsu and its many uses. Saigai grew and learned quickly over the next three years, due to having a natural talent for it.
Training
When Saigai’s training had first begun, his father put him through a series of physical tests to understand where the boy’s limits stood. These tests included mile runs, push-up tests, pull-up tests, sit-up tests, pain endurance tests, weight-lifting tests, conditioning tests, strategy tests, battlefield scenario and knowledge tests, weather conditioning tests, and flexibility/acrobatics tests. These tests were administered to the boy every day for six full months. From the data his father gathered from the tests, the man then began going in-depth on each of the skills that the administered tests came from.
The father first began with the runs, push-ups, pull-ups, and sit-ups. Two full months were spent on all of these and the results were to Saigai’s benefit and to his father’s liking. Next were the pain endurance, weight-lifting, and conditioning skills. Another two months were spent on these skills, and this portion was the most grueling and harsh of the other three fourths. In terms of pain endurance, Saigai simply had to stand still and take full-power hits from his father on every part of his body. In terms of weight-lifting, the boy had to start by lifting rocks his size and gradually grew to lifting rocks that were three and four times his size. In terms of conditioning, he had to strike rocks, trees and other objects with different parts of his body to toughen his bones and muscles. From just this period of two months, he grew to a state of not being able to feel the slightest pain and also grew to really enjoy the tasks his father threw him through. One full month was spent on strategy and battlefield tactics, as well as knowledge of the hands that both sides of a war may play. His father throughout the month put him through multiple scenarios in which a battle may have taken within it and was taught ways of countering these scenarios efficiently and without errors. The last month of the year was spent on making the boy’s body nimble and flexible, and also the month was used to condition the boy in several harsh climates all over the shinobi world.
The next ten years of his life followed this pattern. When Saigai had turned eight years old, he met Eden for the first time. From that point on, their fathers worked together to train the two young boys for the next eight years after they met. In the eight years that they had trained together, Saigai and he had grown to become the best of friends as well as comrades of battle. Though he always fell a little behind Eden in terms of shinobi rank, Saigai had been the only one so far that had been able to stay always on equal footing with Eden. By far, they became the best team when in battle and earned a rather large reputation for being the ultimate duo.
By the time Saigai reached his sixteenth birthday, he was ready to begin learning the techniques made from the Hyuuga clan. His father deemed him ready due to his ability to keep in footing with the prodigal Eden Shinteki. To even his father’s surprise, Saigai learned the abilities of the Xanadu rather quickly, mastering the use of Kenjutsu for his abilities at the time and quickly mastering the art of the samurai taught only to members of the a select few.
Rank After Rank After Rank
After having finally finished his training by the age of seventeen, Saigai began officially taking on missions in order to rise in rank as a shinobi for the village of Tsukigakure. Rising into the rank of chuunin was the most difficult for him, as it took until his nineteenth birthday to get to it. After that, he had become a special jounin by the time he had turned twenty years old, which was a grand achievement for the young member of the Xanadu, who were generally outcasts.
For the next five years, he continued training every day just as his father had taught him for twelve years at close to the beginning of his life. The year did not fly by as quickly as his entire life had and often it made him wonder what his life would've turned out like if he hadn't had the father he was born to. For Saigai, it was a beginning and also an end, especially once he had attained the rank of Jounin. As a gift, before his father died shortly after, Saigai was given Kindness and Gluttony, two esteemed and extremely rare Xanadu artifacts. With these gifts, he smiled in a maniacal but happy kind of way. An end to his birth as a shinobi and a beginning to the rest of his life, which he was ever eager to jump right in and show to himself what shall come to pass. Alongside his best friend and comrade Eden, Saigai trained ever harder not only as a shinobi but also trained himself to become a bit more social with the people around him, for the only people he ever talked to throughout his life were his father, Eden, and Eden’s father.
“Hell if I know what’ll happen in the future. I do know this, though: I sure as hell hope there are people worthy to fight, otherwise this is going to get really boring really fast. Ah, what the hell. I’m with Eden, so I’m sure we’ll come across strong people along the way. Heh.”
