Advertizing the Market = Link
Word Count: 1000 /600Lee stood in the middle of the the village in wait for his target. He held up a piece of paper that held some of the information upon it but all it had on it was that he was to meet some merchant and do work for the person. "
Hiya, are you the Ketsueki that is currently under my employ?" Lee would turn himself around to face a female, her age must be young given her appearance and from how she talked, she must be the merchant that he was sent to help. Lee nodded his head in agreement "
I am, I am. Lee Ketsueki at your service." A small head bow toward the woman would be greeted with a small curtsey.
"
The gentleman I see, well, our partnership shall soon flourish. Come, we've business to attend too." And she began to walk, with Lee following shortly behind. "
You will be delivering these flyers to the people of your village. Give them to any and all that would have them. I wish for word of my events to spread like a wildfire...though, your village would most likely never see one of those in these...colder conditions." Lee laughed slightly at the end comment, the land of Hyougagakure was that of ice, for something to catch fire would be either difficult, absurd or dangerous. He then looked to her as she held a stack of papers in her grasp which would be the flyers that she spoke of, to which he would take promptly. He looked to the flyers but paid their content no mind as his attention then went back to the woman herself. Her appearance was...different to say the least, from the clothes she wore to the pair of rabbit ears that donned her head. Before he could investigate further, she spoke "
Now, I wish you the best of luck and hope it doesn't cause you too much trouble when giving those out. Make sure not to come back till all of the flyers are distributed, I've my own work to attend too, till we meet again."
And with that, she walked from him to do...what ever it was that she planned to do. He turned and held out a flyer to a passing woman who took the flyer without problem. "
This shouldn't be too much of a problem." He walked over to another couple and handed them a flyer and they took it as the woman did and then quickly turned to give it to a man passing them and another after that. The papers in his grasp were slowly starting to dwindle and were being given out with haste. It was going without a problem till a single woman decided to speak out
"What do you think you're doing?" Lee's attention paused as he turned his attention to the woman that had began to speak and was a bit surprised to say the least. "I'll ask again. What. Do you think. You're doing?" "
I''m...trying to promote something by passing out some flyers...is that a problem?" The woman cocked her hip out and pointed at him "Damn right there is a problem." The woman walked till she was right upon Lee and placed a finger onto his chest in an authoritative manner and then continued "What kind of sham are you trying to force these people into? Who are you to tell them what they should pay their hard earned money for? Huh? Huh?"
Lee shook his head as he pointed to the papers "
I have yet to have anyone turn down these, I'm not forcing anything on any one. I don't have any reaso-" "Lies! You are simply here to make a quick buck and swindle the people of their cash!" There was a mummer in the now forming crowd which some began to look at the flyers they were given with question and doubt. "This man seeks only to fill his pockets with your money and nothing else!" He then looked to the paper and finally noticed that it was of some sort of fight and then looked back to the woman whom had continued her rant and he held a hand up as if to beg a question of sorts.
"
Hey, I'm simply here to do a job. I am a ninja of the Hyougagakure and will see it entertained." The woman paused and glared at him "You...call yourself a ninja...you are no more a ninja than a cripple." She then drew a kunai and spun it around in her hand. This was surely going overboard and killing someone over something as stupid as this would have major repercussions but he wouldn't simply let himself die, that much was for certain. The woman ran at him, kunai in grasp with what seemed to be an intent to kill but as she closed in on him, he suddenly disappeared only to show himself behind the woman with a long spear of blood pointed at her neck "
I wont let you ruin the fun that has been planned for everyone else, regardless of your reason. Calm yourself or I will take further action." The woman paused, her hands, shaky at best. Without word the kunai dropped to the ground and the woman slowly rose her hands in defeat.
The growing crowd quickly rushed to take the flyers until Lee was left with none which was a nice ending to this rather difficult confrontation. He returned to the meeting place only to find a note left by the merchant that told him that the money would be sent to him in due time and she could not meet him due to pressing matters and that she thanked him for his hard work. He stared at the note and wondered just what kind of event she could be planning but was sure that he would not see her again.
